Clara and Iruma, with Luna and Sol by their sides, watched as their classmates and their families stepped through the front door of the mansion and were greeted by Opera. Iruma looked at his wife and saw her looking around with a frown painted across her lips and he arched a brow in confusion, "Hey…Clara?" Clara hummed and looked at him, "What's wrong? All our friends are here, just like you wanted an-"
"I'm looking for Lady Redhair," Clara sighed before she continued to look around, "I don't want her doing anything mean, Iruma-kins. What if she gets mad and tries to hurt me and our baby?"
Luna and Sol looked at each other in confusion before they heard a voice speak, "You needn't worry about that, Clara," Clara and Iruma looked up and saw Ali peeking out of Iruma's collar, "While the Netherworld is cruel, it has its limitations. No demon, no matter what, will go after another who is expecting. So even if Ameri does try something, which she won't, many will frown upon it, seeing it as a sign of dishonor,"
The two looked at each other before they heard a voice speak to them, "Iruma," they looked up and saw Ameri approaching them as Clara narrowed her eyes and placed a protective hand on her stomach as she stood in front of Luna and Sol and hissed at the oncoming demoness, "Relax, I'm not here to cause any trouble, but I am curious as to why you called your entire class, their families, and me and my parents as well."
"You'll find out later, Lady Redhair," Ameri narrowed her eyes slightly as she looked at Clara and Iruma stood in front of his wife, "Me and Iruma-kins want to tell everyone something and Iruma-kins said I can invite everyone over,"
Ameri took deep breath before she turned her back towards the small family, "Very well, I hope this small gathering isn't something sinister, you two,"
She began walking away as Iruma looked at Clara and rubbed her back, "Mommy okay?" Luna and Sol asked in unison and the two looked down, "Mommy okay?"
Clara smiled as she shook her head, "I'm fine, babies…mommy was just worried that Lady Redhair will hurt her and your brother or sister," the two looked up at their parents in confusion, "Don't worry about it, babies, mommy and daddy will always love you," the two smiled up at them as Clara and Iruma patted the top of their heads.
Everyone laughed and talked amongst themselves before Clara and Iruma walked up the stairs and looked down before Clara cleared her throat and everyone looked up at the married couple before Clara spoke, "I want to thank you all for coming today," the guests looked at the green-haired demoness in confusion before Clara continued, "We called everyone here because we want everyone to know that me and Iruma-kins will be welcoming a new member to our family,"
Everyone stared with wide eyes as Clara placed a hand on her flat stomach and Iruma wrapped an arm around his wife, "My beautiful wife speaks the truth. She is pregnant and we will be welcoming a new member of the Suzuki family,"
The entire mansion fell into silence as Alyssa smiled up at her daughter and son-in-law before the sound of wings flapping broke the silence and everyone saw Alice fly up to the two before landing in front of them, kneeling before them, "Iruma sir, Clara, allow me to be the first to congratulate you two on this joyous occasion and allow me to offer my humble service to you two and your new offspring, as well as young Luna and Sol,"
"Uh…Azz, I don't think that you need to-"
"Of course I do, sir," Alice interrupted, "I swore my allegiance to you after you fairly beaten during the entrance ceremony in our first year and carried me to the infirmary and that oath falls onto your family as well,"
Standing up, Alice dusted himself off and Clara slightly smiled as she shook her head, "Thank you, Azz-Azz. We knew we can trust of,"
"But of course, Clara, you are Master Iruma's wife and therefore, I will serve you and your children as well," Alice looked down and smiled, "We will celebrate this joyous occasion properly! Today we learn of the conception of Master Iruma's and Clara's child!" everyone cheered as Clara and Iruma looked around and saw a hardened expression crossing Ameri's face as she lightly clapped her hands before her gaze fell and the two slightly frowned before they walked down the stairs to talk with their guests.
Approaching Ameri, Iruma sighed, "Ameri," Ameri looked up and saw the married couple walking up to her, "We…we noticed that you were upset when we told everyone that Clara is pregnant,"
"I…I was aware that you two were going to be having more children, but I didn't expect it to be a mere few months into your marriage," Ameri frowned before taking a deep breath, "Even still, I want to congratulate you on taking yet another step in your relationship," the two hummed and nodded as they watched as Ameri turned and walked away and they talked to other guests.
Iruma, Clara and their families watched as the final guests walked out of the mansion before the door closed. Alyssa smiled at her oldest daughter and son-in-law as they carried the sleeping Luna and Sol up the stairs to their room, "Isn't this great, Jack? We're going to have another grandbaby to spoil,"
"And I'll have another greatgrandchild to spoil," Sullivan chimed as he danced around the mansion happily.
Clara and Iruma entered their room and gently set Luna and Sol down on their beds before pulling the covers over them and tucked them in. Clara walked over to her husband and wrapped her arms around him as she smiled, "You okay, Clara?"
"I'm happy, Iruma-kins. We're going to have another baby," Iruma smiled and nodded as he wrapped an arm around Clara and placed a hand on her flat stomach as he kissed her forehead.
A glowing light interrupted the two as they looked back and Iruma moved away from his wife, standing in front of her and glaring at the glow with narrowed eyes. Two figures stepped out of the glowing light and Iruma's eyes widened as the light dimmed to see two adults, a blue-haired middle-aged woman, and a blue-haired middle-aged man, standing in the room. Clara looked at the uninvited guests in confusion before the man spoke, "Hello son," Clara's eyes widened as she looked at her husband as he growled through his fangs.
Okay, so…this was supposed to be in the next chapter, but I decided to have his parents show up after announcing Clara's pregnancy instead. Enjoy.
