Alice held Clara back as she glared at the two humans in front of them, tears streaming down her cheeks as Sullivan held Sol and Opera held Luna, trying to sooth their crying, "You'll pay for hurting my Iruma-kins!" Clara snapped, trying to break free from Alice's hold, "You monsters! Iruma-kins didn't do anything to you!"
"Get ahold of yourself, Clara!" Alice snapped, "I'm angry at them for harming Master Iruma too but going after them in a fit of rage will only land you in custody with Demon Border Patrol and you'll lose Luna and Sol!" Clara turned and cried as she hugged her other best friend, and he offered her comfort before she was pulled away.
Everyone looked with wide eyes as Mana tightly held Clara and Ryu held a small vial of water near her before the woman spoke, "Okay listen to us! We already killed one of your kind and we're not afraid of doing it again! Just give us some gold, jewels and any other valuables and we'll be on our way!"
"We could also keep this cutie," Ryu looked down at Clara and smirked, "She doesn't seem like she'd put up a fight," Clara closed her eyes as tears slid down her cheeks.
Iruma moaned as he opened his eyes and looked around to see complete darkness, "Am…I dead? Damn…Clara, I'm sorry…I'm sorry I won't be there to see our children grow up…Luna, Sol…daddy loves you two…be good for mommy and be good to your baby brother or sister…little one…I'm sorry I won't be in your life at all…but hopefully mommy and-"
"Daddy!" he looked up with wide eyes as he heard the voices of Luna and Sol call out to him, "Daddy! You fall, you get up! Get up daddy!"
"Kids? But how?"
"They hurt mommy, daddy!" Iruma's eyes widened as he felt his body begin to shake.
Demons stared on as Mana continued to hold Clara and Ryu reached down her shirt before ripping it off and Clara silently cried, "Don't you dare touch my wife, you worthless bastard!" everyone turned their attention to the pile of rubble as an injured Iruma stepped out of it, glaring at the humans who held his wife, "You want money? Fine, but you'll have to earn it!" without warning, he quickly ran towards them and pulled Clara away from them before running back to Alice.
Setting his wife down, Clara frowned as she shook her head and quickly tried to cover her exposed torso, "Iruma-kins…I swear, I didn't want that…I will never do-" Iruma kissed her as Clara's eyes widened before she closed them.
The pair separated and Iruma slightly smiled, "I know, honey. It's them, not you," taking off his jacket, he wrapped it around Clara and Clara held it close to her, "Let me handle them, okay?" Clara nodded as Iruma looked up at Alice, "Azz, you protect my wife, got it?"
"Of course, sir,"
Iruma nodded as he looked back at the two humans and narrowed his eyes, "Oh, scary, scary," Mana taunted, "Face it, you worthless pile of trash, you will never amount to anything in life! You're too soft, you let people walk all over you…selling you was the best idea we ever had!" Clara frowned as she looked towards her husband and saw a small smirk crossing his lips as he waked towards them.
Mana quickly grabbed the vial from her husband and held it out, "One more move and we'll hit you with holy water again!"
"Holy water? You had holy water the entire time you were down here and didn't use it until now?" Iruma chuckled ad sook his head, "You idiots and…wait, you threatened my wife with holy water and went after Luna and Sol while you had holy water?" he narrowed his eyes as he vanished from everyone's sight.
Everyone looked around as Clara growled and hissed under her breath and Alice placed a hand on her shoulder, "Calm yourself, Clara, Master Iruma said he'd-"
"They threatened my babies, Azz-Azz, they almost killed my husband…I need to help Iruma-kins!"
"Don't worry, Clara…I got them," she looked up with wide eyes to see no one standing next to her, "I'm here, Clara."
"But…you're still invisible and daddy and Urara said you can't stay like that for very long or you can get sick,"
"I…I don't know…I feel fine…I mean I'm pissed at them for bringing something down here that can hurt our kids, I'm pissed that they tried to molest you like it's nothing…I'm going to kick their asses," Clara frowned as she slightly hung her head, "What's wrong, honey?"
"Please…be careful, Iruma-kins…I don't want to lose my husband again," feeling someone kiss her forehead, she looked up in surprise, "Iruma-kins?"
"I'll be right back, Clara, I promise," Clara slowly nodded, "Azz, I wasn't joking. Keep my wife safe," Alice hummed and nodded before the two of them heard the sound of someone running away.
Mana's eyes widened as she gasped for air as she doubled over, holding her stomach. Ryu looked up to see Iruma reappear in front of him with a smirk, "You little shit! What the hell did you do?"
"Just a little training with my magic. Camouflage…I can disappear and reappear whenever I want and change my physical appearance for about four minutes,"
"And why in the hell are you telling me this! You know as soon as Mana recovers, I'll tell her an-" his eyes widened as he watched as Iruma's body twist and he was standing in front of himself before he narrowed his eyes, "Are you serious! This old trick! Do you think that anyone is stupid enough to fall for this!" Iruma smirked as Mana grunted and the two looked over towards her.
Mana struggled to stand up before looking up to see two Ryu's standing in front of her and she groaned as she shook her head, "Are you kidding me! I don't have time for this!"
"Calm down, Mana! He told me that his magic only lasts for a couple of minutes, so just hold off!" Ryu called out.
Iruma smirked before mimicking Ryu's voice, "Don't listen to him, Mana! Demons are notorious tricksters, liars and lowlifes and will stop at nothing from achieving their goal!"
Clara frowned at Iruma's words as Alice leaned down and whispered, "Don't pay any mind to master's words. He's trying to lead that woman into a false sense of security,"
Clara sighed as she hung and shook her head, "I know, Azz-Azz, but hearing those words come from the man who ripped my shirt…I know it's Iruma-kins, but I can't help but feel hurt,"
"I know, but Master Iruma only has a few minutes to spare, and he has to make every second count," the two looked up and watched as the three stared down at one another.
Time slowly passed as the wind blew past them before Ryu looked up and snapped, "What the living hell! You said it'll only last a couple of minutes!"
"What are you talking about! You're the one who told me you can hold a different form for hours!" Iruma snapped back, narrowing his eyes, 'My time should've been up by now…was it because he tried to hurt Clara?' he looked back at Mana and pointed towards Ryu, "Don't you see, Mana? He's trying to deceive you! He wants you to attack me so he can kill us!"
Mana looked at him before looking at Ryu, "Don't think about it! You should know we both know that the brat lies to both of us! He wasn't even worth the shit on the ground!"
'Swearing in front of my kids? Is he trying to get arise out of me? I must play it cool…kids, if you say that word later, mommy's going to be mad at all three of us,' Mana narrowed her eyes at him, "He made us a small fortune, how in the hell can he be considered worthless! He helped us catch lots of fish, he stole from the Yakuza for us, hell, after selling him to that demon, we made more money than all those tasks put together!"
Mana looked at Ryu with narrowed eyes as Ryu shook his head, "Don't think abo-" before he could finish, Mana kicked him in the groin, forcing him to release the vial of holy water and everyone watched as it shattered, and Ryu doubled over in pain.
Mana's eyes widened as she looked back at Iruma and he smirked, "Wrong one," kicking her in the torso, Mana fell back and hit the stone wall behind her before sliding down to the ground.
She slowly looked up to see Iruma standing over her, glaring down at her with narrowed eyes, "What the hell…did you lie to your father?"
"I don't have a father or a mother…they sold…you know what? I do have a mother and a father," Mana weakly smiled, "Jack Valac is my father and Alyssa Valac is my mother," Mana's weak smile formed into a frown, "Do you want to know what they did that you and that bastard didn't?"
"What?"
Iruma leaned down and hissed, "They were there for me…they showed me what it's like to have kind and caring parents. Jack welcomed me to the family the day I wanted to propose to Clara and Alyssa welcomed me before that. She welcomed me the first night Clara and I had relations and she learned I was human…she still welcomed me to the family with open arms…Jack called me son the day I asked for Clara's hand and on our wedding, Alyssa danced with me…she didn't have to do that, she has three sons, three biological sons…and she did that…and you know…they are very good with Luna and Sol. Even though they're not their biological grandchildren, they still love them just the same.
Selling me to grandpa was the nicest thing you can ever do for me…I made a lot of friends, I met Clara, my beautiful wife…who was nearly assaulted by Ryu…we found and adopted Luna and Sol and we're going to welcome another addition to our little family in a few months,"
"B-before you…do anything, can we see our grand-"
"You don't have any grandchildren to see…so no, you can't see anyone," he grabbed her by the arm and threw her towards Ryu before looking up at Ameri, "Ameri, call your parents and tell them we have two humans who need to be sent back!"
"Uh…right, Iruma!" Ameri dug her phone out as Iruma walked over to Clara and Alice.
Clara ran over to him and hugged him as he returned the embrace, "I was so scared, Iruma-kins…I thought I was going to lose you,"
"You're not going to lose anyone, Clara…I just had to teach them a lesson," he broke from the embrace and slightly smiled, "Outside of ripping your shirt, they didn't hurt you, right?" Clara shook her head, "Good…Azz…thanks for keeping her away from them for as long as you could,"
"But sir…I failed…I was comforting Clara after you were attacked and they snatched her…they were going to harm her, sir and I was too much of a coward to move,"
"No you weren't…if you had moved, they would've killed Clara without hesitation, so you took the best course of action and stood you ground," Alice frowned as he hung his head and Iruma continued, "You were thinking with both your head and emotions…you knew if you tried to go and save her, they would've harmed her…yeah, I'm angry that they tried to sexually assault Clara…and it might make me sound like an ass, but I rather have that and save her then have someone else try and save her and have her get killed."
He looked down as Clara tightly hugged him, "Clara, I love you, I love Luna and I love Sol and I know I'll love our baby once they're born and any other children we will have together, and nothing in the Netherworld, the Human World or the Angelic World will change how I feel about you and our children, but sometimes one of you will have to get hurt in order for me to protect all of you…I don't like wording it like that, but if I try any other way, I might make a complete ass out of myself,"
Clara hummed and nodded as Iruma rubbed her back, "It's good to see everything is okay, grandson," the two looked back and saw Sullivan and Opera walking towards them.
Iruma stepped away from his wife and took Luna and Sol from Sullivan and Opera and slightly smiled as he whispered to them, "Thank you kids…you saved daddy and in turn, you saved mommy," the two stared at him in confusion and he shook his head, "You have no idea what I'm-"
"Daddy fall, daddy get up," Iruma smiled as Luna and Sol continued, "Daddy fall, daddy get up,"
"That's right…I taught you kids that…if you ever fall down, you get right back up and try again," Clara walked over to them and took Sol from him as the small family smiled and several other demons surrounded the humans, waiting for Ameri's parents to arrive.
Okay so…I'm not going to lie, this chapter was…a little hard to write. I also brought back some lines from the previous instalment, one of the most wholesome chapters. There will be like two or three more chapters to this one and then I'll work on a third, and final instalment to this series. Until then, please enjoy.
