"Yea, I don't mind scary stuff." Jake grinned. "But a spirit? You sure?"
"Don't worry." Kuri hugged him. "It'll be ok." Kuri hugged him close, actually squeezing him tight because of her Reiki.
Jake pushed her back against a tree, and captured her lips. The two began a passionate kiss, and would have gone further, but here comes Sam.
"Do that somewhere else!" Sam shouted, disgusted.
"Sorry bout that." Jake said sheepishly.
Kuri eyed him. "I'm not."
"You know what?" Jacob amended. "Neither am I!"
Sam groaned. "Geez. Why are you two here?"
"What?" Jake asked. "We can't make out anywhere we want?"
Kuri interrupted the two. "We are here to invite you to play a game."
"If you'll play that is." Jake laughed
"I'm not afraid." Sam snapped.
Jake smirked. "You sure?"
"Cmon." Kuri said, shaking her head.
Jacob followed Kuri's lead, Sam trailing behind.
They sat in a circle. Kuri lit six candles around them, then burnt some cinnamon, frankincense, and sandalwood. The smell flavored the air.
Kuri smiled as she detected Jacob's frankincense scent among them.
"Beloved Unknown Spirit,
We Seek Your Guidance.
We ask the You Commune
With Us and move among Us."
The candles blew out, and the scent of bitter sage filled the room. A great wind blew them to and fro, and a horrible, bone-chilling laugh filled the air.
The wind increased, snapping their circle apart. All went deathly silent.
Suddenly a shadow rose up and overtook Kuri. "Hello Sam." Her voice was sickly sweet.
Sam edged away, out of the room.
"Marshmallow," Jake muttered, then turned his attention to her.
"Kuri?" Jacob looked at her. He had been sure this wasn't going to be a bad spirit.
The spirit only laughed.
It made Jake sick that she was inside Kuri. That was HIS job!
"Who are you?" Jake growled.
"My name is Sadako." Sadako laughed. "This body is MINE!"
Sadako's tone turned into Kuri's as she moved closer to him. "Hello my sweet Jacob. It's me, Kuri…" She reached out to him.
Jacob only growled and jerked back. "You're not Kuri."
"She's MINE now." Sadako smirked. "I know how much you want this body. How much you ache and burn…"
Jake had had enough. He shoved Sadako against the wall. "She DOESN'T belong to you. She belongs to ME. So…" His grip tightened. "I'd advise you to vacate the premises or else you're gonna suffer."
Jacob saw a hopeful surge of silver in Kuri's aura, and a flash of blue. He grinned. "Oh, and it won't be by my hands. It'll be by my woman's." He smirked.
Kuri growled and the silver light blinded him for a moment, and then it was over. She was fine.
"Let's go h—urk!" Kuri was bent over, blood dripping from her eyes.
