Deniswanheda- thank you for the translation, and also for reading. I'm not very sure if I'll dive into relationships in this story just for my lack of ability to write romance lol. But even if I do I'm not to big into NaruHina I felt that it was just kind of forced in the actual story even going as far as to kill Neji to bring them closer. So I'm sorry to say they won't be a couple here.
Bankai777- as always thanks for reading and commenting, I don't plan on Naruto learning the Hirashin but you never know. And yes more than likely he will meet A.
Marquis.shax- I agree I think it would be very beneficial for Karin to train under Tsunade, plus we all know Tsunade has a soft spot for Uzumaki's. To your point with Sauske and the sharingan training, while I agree there is no three step program on how to become a pro with a sharingan I believe the most logical thing to do in the perspective of a Hokage is to put someone with the capability to unlock the sharingan with someone who has experience using it. That aside Kakashi will be taking the hat very soon and he won't really have the time to take on any student at least full time.
Guest- Thanks for reading the story much appreciated! I wasn't really going to do any pairings originally, but it seems there is a few people who would like there to be so I might change my stance. But I envision Naruto and Karin being more brother and sister like!

After a small nap for Kakashi, and Jirayia the four set out. Jirayia while in Kusa got a few leads on where Tsunade probably was, luckily all the leads pointed to a casino only a few towns north from Kusa. Naruto got the lovely job of carrying Karin, Kakashi figured she would be up by the time he awoke from his nap but that wasn't the case. The poor child must have been exhausted. While Naruto could carry her without to much struggle he couldn't help but feel he was probably the least suited person for the job. Not to mention he couldn't really practice popping the balloon either.
As they traveled Kakashi explained to Jirayia why he had taken the girl, Jirayia was pretty angry a little know fact was that the reinforcements sent to help the Uzumaki was led by the White fang along with the legendary sannin. Jirayia never could shack the feeling of disappointment he had when they had arrived to late to save there beloved allies. As they traveled Jirayia and Kakashi would talk about this and that, until they heard Karin slur a few words in a daze from just waking up.
"Where am I?" Karin asked finally wiping the sleep from her eyes.
"You are safe, I talked to the council you will be coming to the hidden leaf." Kakashi replied slowing his pace a bit to walk side by side with the girl.
"Will they be any different?" Karin asked a glimmer of hope shinning through her eyes.
"I can't promise everyone will like you, but I can promise you won't be used solely for your blood line limit." Kakashi replied with an eye smile, getting a hug from the girl as she quickly left the back of Naruto.
"Let's take a quick break so we can introduce ourselves properly to Karin-Chan here." Kakashi said a awkwardly as the young girl was still giving him a bear hug.
"Nice to meet ya! I'm Naruto Uzumaki future Hokage of the leaf!" Naruto proudly introduced himself holding his hand out for a handshake.
"Wow I didn't put it together at first but I guess the red hair is a giveaway." Karin thought aloud to the group before shacking Naruto's hand.
"Oh and the tall guy is Jirayia my new master." Naruto cut in stealing Jirayia's grand entrance.
"Ungrateful brats, next person to steal my thunder is getting a rasengan to the gut." Jirayia mumbled, making the two ninja sweat drop and Karin chuckle.
"Guess that leaves me, I'm Kakashi Hatake Jonin of the leaf." Kakashi said.
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you rescue me?" Karin asked curiously.
"Well there is a few reasons I suppose, no one should have the lifestyle you were going to if you had stayed. I also think you would be an asset to the leaf, and most importantly this other redhead wouldn't let me hear the end of it if we left you stranded." Kakashi stated pointing to Naruto.
"That's right I've never had any family before, so like it or not your stuck with me ya know!" Naruto said with a goofy grin making the girl giggle a bit.
"Um what's your birthday Naruto-Kun?" Karin asked curiously.
"October 10th why?" Naruto asked confused.
"Just wondering OTOTO." Karin replied putting emphasis on the ototo before sticking her tongue at the youngest member of the group. Getting a laugh from the other two and an embarrassed blush from Naruto.
"No fair I wanted to be the big brother!" Naruto yelled.
The next few days of traveling seemed to fly by for the group. Naruto and Karin spent a lot of the time talking, they had both been pretty attention starved growing up, well at least positive attention that is. They got along fairly well, not to mention they both were very outgoing personalities. Jirayia even chimed in with a few stories of Naruto's mother catching both the red heads full attention, even Kakashi's bringing some of the few fond memories he has left. Naruto also managed the first step of the rasengan after Jirayia took pity and showed him the finished product of what he was trying to learn.
Finally on the third day the team got to the city where Jirayia last heard Tsunade was, the group decided to split up to look for her. Jirayia went by himself to the bars, Kakashi told Karin and Naruto to check the restaurants, while he went to get a vantage point to look over the small town. He thought about summoning Pakkun but he quickly realized Pakkun wasn't even a pup the last time he saw Tsunade so he figured finding a tall building was his next best option. After about an hour of searching he saw her leave the hospital and head for a local restaurant, he spiked his charka a little, not enough to worry civilians but to alert Jirayia and hopefully Naruto after remembering he could sense his chakra.
"You might as well join me for dinner if you plan on following me around all night." Tsunade spoke aloud, making Kakashi feel a little stupid.
"Lady Tsunade, Shizune-San nice to see you again." Kakashi replied awkwardly as he took a seat in the booth across from Tsunade and beside Shizune.
"Did the old monkey send you after me?" Tsunade asked.
"Lord third didn't send me, it was approved by him but no he didn't order me to find you. I actually wanted to find you myself and offer you a few things." Kakashi replied relaxing a bit in the booth.
"Brat there isn't anything you can offer me to get me to come back to that forsaken village." Tsunade replied curtly.
"Just here me out before you decline immediately please. I'm sure you are aware Lord fourth and Lady Kushina died during the attack? I know you are aware that my two teammates also died, as well as my father? I'm not saying all this to patronize you Tsunade-Sama I'm saying this to let you know I understand exactly how you feel. But what I have to offer is something I know you hold dear." Kakashi explained.
"And what might that be?" Tsunade asked doubtful.
"I remember when I was young heading chatter about you wanting to run a medic nin academy or something to that effect excuse me for not remembering all the details, but I do remember the reason it didn't go through was because Lord third thought you would be more valuable on the frontlines. I have to admit I strongly disagree with him there, I'm set to become the next Hokage when I return back to the village, if you are willing to come back I will give you full reign over the medical department to do as you see fit." Kakashi explained carefully inspecting Tsunade to see if she was buying in.
"I won't waste your time brat, that's a good idea and if this was 15 years ago I probably would have agreed but I've already made a promise I won't step foot back in that village." Tsunade replied honestly.
"I was afraid that might be your reply, that's not all I have to offer. You have family left in the village." Was all Kakashi had to say to make Tsunade's eyes the size of saucers.
"Don't lie to me brat!" Tsunade barked with rage.
"Naruto, Karin come here." Kakashi called out, and right on cue two redheads came and took the same booth as Tsunade.
"As you can tell by the red hair, there is no deception going on, oh and btw don't tell Naruto here who his father is I told him that would be his gift for reaching chunin." Kakashi replied with a chuckle, getting Naruto to turn red.
"But I wasn't told the baby would make it?" Tsunade asked awestruck.
"Lord third kept his heritage under raps I think myself, Jirayia, and Hiruzen himself are the only three who know." Kakashi replied.
"Excuse me for interrupting but she doesn't look like an Uzumaki." Karin stated being mildly confused.
"I'm not by name, I'm Tsunade Senju. Guess they don't teach you kids much these days, my grandfather was Hasirama Senju or the first Hokage as you may know him, my grandmother was Mito Uzumaki. So I do have Uzumaki blood in me, I believe Mito was Kushina's great aunt but I can't remember all the details all that well." Tsunade explained.
"What the hell! I'm technically family with the first and second Hokage?" Naruto screeched, luckily Kakashi and Tsunade sweat drop went unnoticed.
"Hmm now that I think about it I guess so, maybe you are destined to become Hokage." Kakashi said sarcastically, making Naruto go red with anger.
"Please don't tell me you want to be Hokage Gaki." Tsunade said as she remembered her late brother and lover.
"Your damn right I do! And I'll be the best, better than any of them and then the village will have to respect me!" Naruto said with a steel like determination.
"That's a fools dream." Tsunade snapped immediately reminded of the death of several family members who died while being Hokage or trying to get there.
"Listen Granny I'm gonna be the best, I have the best teachers and teammates! But most importantly I have the guts to never give up!" Naruto declared getting Tsunade to raise her brow.
"Seems you have a good taste in literature there Gaki." Jirayia spoke letting the group know of his presence.
"You read that book as well pervy sage?" Naruto asked surprised, but Tsunade couldn't help but laugh at her teammates nickname.
"Dammit Gaki I told you not to call me that! But for your information I wrote the damn book so show a little respect." Jirayia lectured.
"I should have know he would send you as well." Tsunade said with a sigh, she didn't hate Jirayia but seeing him reminded her of times long gone.
"Been a while Hime. I guess they have made there offer already?" Jirayia asked as he pulled a chair to the end of the booth.
"Indeed, I'll come but so help me Kami Hatake if you aren't true to your word I'll send you to meet with your father." Tsunade replied making Jirayia and Kakashi flinch from the threat.
"I assure you I am very genuine with my offer lady Tsunade." Kakashi offered.
The trip back to Konoha wasn't very interesting, the group would chat from time to time but mainly they just made there journey in relative silence. Kakashi had a lot to think about, Tsunade and Shizune as well. That mainly left Naruto and Karin to talk amongst themselves for the majority of the trip, considering Jirayia had to leave to check on his network.
After three days of travel the huge green gates of Konoha finally appeared. Kakashi was in the front he briefly told the chunin on guard he had several people with him and they would head straight to the Hokage. Karin was amazed at the size of the place, she never got to travel outside Kusa so this was all very knew to her. Naruto promised to show her around. After a few minutes the group made it to the tower.
"Come in." The aged Kage spoke as he heard a knock. As the door was opened he seen something he thought he might never see again his lone female student.
"I see the mission was a success." Hiruzen kept his calm demeanor on the outside but the old Kage would be a liar if he said she wasn't a sight for sore eyes.
"Indeed Hokage-Sama, the only thing that didn't go according to plan ending up being a positive." Kakashi said looking at Karin.
"Ah yes and who might you be young lady?" Hiruzen asked, but he had a decent idea of her heritage at least.
"I'm Karin Uzumaki Hokage-Sama." Karin replied with a polite bow.
"She's gonna be staying with us Jiji." Naruto said with a thumbs up and a proud smirk.
"Is that so? I guess I will have to get some living arrangements set up for you Karin-Chan." Hiruzen replied with a chuckle, Naruto always knew how to cheer the old man up even on the worst of days.
"No need Sensei, she will be staying with me and Shizune. I suppose since I'll be here I could use another apprentice." Tsunade spoke.
"Very well, we had a genin squad clean the Senju compound it should be ready for you three immediately." Hiruzen replied with a soft smile.
"Thank you Sensei, I'm glad you didn't kick the bucket before I came back." Tsunade said making everyone sweat drop. But Hiruzen knew she meant well, and in reality she did. Tsunade was actually trying to be nice, she lost a lot of her family at a young age, she really did view Hiruzen as a father figure.
"You are to kind to this old man Tsuna-Chan." Hiruzen teased making Tsunade go red in the face, before dragging her two fellow women out the door with her.
"I didn't know you could be funny Jiji." Naruto said as he was crying of laughter.
"I still have a few things you don't know about Naruto-Kun." Hiruzen replied sagely.
"So how did the council take it when you revealed me as your successor?" Kakashi asked curiously.
"They said I was brash, among other things but when the fire daimyo agreed with me there wasn't much they could say." Hiruzen replied with a smirk.
"And how did you manage that?" Kakashi asked confused.
"I don't think Minato mentioned it much, but the Daimyo was very fond of him, so when I accidentally let slip you were the fourth Hokages prize student it was near a guarantee at that point." Hiruzen replied.
"Very clever sir, did you manage to get my request done?" Kakashi asked.
"Yes, it's ready whenever you are." Hiruzen replied.
"Thank you Hokage-Sama." Kakashi replied with a bow and with that he and Naruto left.
"This place is huge Sensei!" Naruto said as they arrived at an older styled clan home.
"Yeah my father was a pretty wealthy man he completed the most missions in the second shinobi war I think." Kakashi stated scratching the back of his head.
"Wow that's incredible! How come you never brought him up before?" Naruto asked perplexed.
"He died when I was young." Kakashi said leaving a few details out.
"Anyways this is it, go home and pack, if you get back before me just pick any room you like ok?" Kakashi replied getting a nod from his pupil.
'Now for the hard part.' Kakashi thought as he made his way to a place he thought he never step foot in again.
Kakashi walked up to a large home and knocked twice hard enough to get the attention if they were asleep.
"Can I help you?" Came the voice of a stoic preteen.
"No but I can help you." Came the nonchalant response of Kakashi
"Exactly how can you help me?" Sasuke asked doubtful.
"You want to get stronger no? To avenge your clan?" Kakashi replied knowing exactly what buttons to press.
"And what makes you think I'll agree?" Sasuke replied.
"Because I have a few things you don't." Without saying anything else Kakashi lifted his headband from his eye revealing his Sharingan in all its glory. "I'm sure you have questions, here is a piece of paper with directions to my home. Come by for dinner tomorrow and I'll answer the ones I see fit." And with that the copy ninja was gone.
Sasuke was left dumbfounded. 'How the hell did that guy have a sharingan? He wasn't an Uchiha.' He thought about that man for the rest of his night making for an uneasy night of rest. Even the next day during the academy he couldn't stop thinking about it. Maybe this was his chance to finally break through his current wall of strength, his next step to be able to kill that traitorous bastard! The day seemed to drag on for the Uchiha every minute felt like an hour until finally it was getting near dinner time. He took out the paper with the directions and made his way.
"Ah Sasuke-Kun glad you could make it, please come in." Kakashi said as he answered the door. "Naruto come greet your guest." Kakashi called out.
"Hey I'm Naruto! I was in the class ahead of you in the academy." Naruto spoke as he went for a handshake, although reluctantly Sasuke obliged.
"Sasuke Uchiha." Was all the response Naruto got.
"Where are my manners I never properly introduced myself I am Kakashi Hatake Jonin of the leaf." Kakashi said, as he led the two boys to the dinner table. "How about I answer a few of the obvious questions right now, I didn't steal the eye it was a gift from a dying teammate after I had my eye slashed. It's not very hard to figure out your goals if anybody would take ten seconds to observe you."
"Hn, why are you offering to help me?" Sasuke asked as he took a seat at the table.
"That's a good question, well first off I see a lot of myself in you. Second if help you to become stronger it will only benefit the leaf, and finally and quite frankly I view you as a flight risk, if an enemy ever offered you power in exchange for loyalty I believe you would take them up on the offer." Kakashi explained while handing out plates.
"So basically you want me to stay in the leaf?" Sasuke reasoned.
"Exactly, seems like a fair deal to me. I highly doubt you will find anyone with more power than I to train you." Kakashi replied bluntly, as he passed around the the food amongst them. "At the end of the day it's your choice and I won't force you to do anything, but if you agree I have rules and if you don't follow these rules I will kick your ass to the curb."
A/N- Hey guys hope you enjoyed! As you probably gathered Naruto will be staying with Kakashi, I also brought Sasuke into the fold. Next chapter will most likely be Kakashi actually taking the mantle of Hokage, and while he will be helping Sasuke out it's not like he will have a great deal of time to spend with him. Naruto gained a few family members to be with now! Kakashi isn't as Naive here as he was in part 1 in the show, I don't plan on him giving Sasuke the chidori or anything until he believes him worthy.
