I spent two and a half months unclaimed in the Hermes cabin, but I honestly don't mind. I made new friends, and yet I still can't stop thinking about Phoebe. Travis is the only one I've told and he always insists on comforting me when I wake up from bad dreams.

Travis is the older brother I've always wanted.

I spend a lot of time in the forges bothering Nyssa, yet she doesn't mind. We dance together and sing our hearts out, I even learned a little Spanish.

Harley taught me about cars and motorcycles, and he's strangely good at making weapons, he made me a new dagger. It was beautifully crafted, and I started using it instead of my old one ( it was from the hunt ). I got better at archery and tried to learn a little sword fighting, turns out I'm better with a dagger than a sword. Drew continues to bully me and just about everyone else, including her own campers. Mr D was called back to Olympus, and we haven't heard from him since.

Annabeth crash landed the Apollo cabin chariot in the lake with three new campers Leo, Piper and Jason. She still hasn't found her boyfriend Percy, but everyone talks about him, apparently he's quite a legend. Leo turned out to be a Hephaestus kid, which was pretty cool. I spend a lot of time with him too. He saved the camp from a dragon in the woods, and broke the so-called curse. Then went on this super dangerous quest with Piper and Jason, Nyssa had actually volunteered to go but Leo instead.

I was walking back to cabin eleven with Conner and Travis after another successful prank when cabin seven caught my eye, almost like it was calling to me.

''That's the Apollo cabin right?'' I questioned, staring at the brightly coloured cabin.

''Yep, home to our healers, our archers, and our musicians'' Conner replied, waving his hand in my face '' you good Sammy?''

''Yeah, sure whatever'' I said, only half listening.

I walked toward it, Travis and Conner followed behind me. The door was open so I went in, something about this cabin was unsettling, it was empty.

''Sam, you shouldn't enter another cabin without permission'' Travis grabbed my arm.

''Or a valid reason, like a prank'' Conner laughed.

Just then Will walked in ''can I help you'' he said, clearly suspicious of what we were up to.

I shook my head and spun around ''yes, I don't think we've formally met. You showed me around on my first day right?"

He smiled ''yeah, I'm Will Solace, head counsellor of Apollo, head medic and...'' he stopped.

All three boys stared at me like I was nuts. ''What!?'' I demanded ''did the iris kids turn my hair green again or something?''

''And your brother'' Will finished, pointing to the lyric above my head.

Apollo? I'd met Apollo tons of times, why didn't he tell me or give a sign sooner. He comes to see Artemis all the time, actually he was quite annoying.

''I gotta go'' and I ran out of the room, past Chiron to the beach. I sat in the sand watching the waves flow in and out.

''Sam, there you are'' Chiron shouted trotting down the beach '' your siblings are looking for you, I heard Kayla is quit excited to finally have a sister''

I didn't move, I didn't look up, I just watched the waves move in and out with the tide.

''I've met Apollo, many times before'' I said a tear falling to the water '' he didn't say anything, not even a hint. And then I spent two and a half months unclaimed in the Hermes cabin. I was happy there, I thought I'd found my family. Now he chooses to claim, after all that''

I sighed

''I don't know exactly why you left the hunt Sam, but that's in the past. You don't have to forgive him, but don't take it out on your siblings. They're truly excited to have you''

''What in the Hades is that?'' I grumbled looking down the beach.

I could hear someone strumming a guitar in the distance, and singing. I saw Austin, Kayla and Will, coming towards us.

Austin sang '' We are family''

and I smiled as Kayla took my hand, pulling me up.

Will sang the next line '' I got all my sisters with me'' I didn't even know he could sing.

Together they sang, wrapping me in a hug ''We are family, Get up everybody and sing''

I knew the next line was '' We are family '' so I joined in..

''Come on'' Kayla said ''Let's go get you moved in, you can have the bunk next to mine'' she smiled, still holding my hand. Together we walked back to cabin eleven, she insisted on holding my hand the whole time. Which was honestly kinda sweet of her.

We saw Conner and Travis sitting outside, I punched Conner in the shoulder and gave Travis a hug, then punched him in the shoulder too.

''Sorry about early'' I murmured.

Conner glared at me rubbing his arm ''what, he gets a hug and I don't?'' Honestly I just felt closer to Travis, he basically adopted me as his sister, Conner was just like a good friend. I don't know. But I hugged him too.

''Happy now?''

He smiled ''of course'' then proceeded to kick my feet out from under me, I landed on my ass with a thud. Kayla looked just about ready to throw hands, which made me smile.

''Love you too'' I said, getting up off my butt.

It only took me a couple minutes to pack up, I took down all my pictures, folded up my sleeping bag, and shoved everything else in my backpack. I promised Willow I'd still braid her hair, then gave her a hug. Ava glared at me, obviously jealous that her siblings liked me better.

I walked out, taking it all in one last time. Goodbye cabin eleven, hello cabin seven.

I went right up to Travis, winked and said '' If you ever take off that bracelet you dead''

I rushed off with my stuff to go join Kayla, Will, and Austin. They were waiting for outside cabin seven, when I heard Conner and Travis arguing.

''Why'd you get a bracelet and not me?'' Conner mopped.

Travis had the biggest grin ''because she sees me as her cool older brother, she sees you as her brothers annoying older brother''

I laughed so hard I almost fell over ''We get it, Conner you're the jealous type'' I screamed.

I met the others on the porch '' you ready?'' Will asked.

''Hell yeah'' I said, throwing my stuff on the bed next to Kaylas. I neatly made my bed setting out my sleeping bag, I even set out the little stuffed rabbit Phoebe had made me. His name was Carotop.

I didn't dare in the Hermes cabin, I love them but they are notorious for stealing things and this meant a lot to me. She told me sewing was something she'd learned over her years as a hunter, they were always mending holes in their pants and what not from battles. She said she made it for me, because I reminded her of a rabbit, short with big ears and I took off running at the first sight of danger. I'd punched her in the arm for saying that, then thanked her.

I put up my photos, the old ones I'd brought with me and the new ones I'd added. A lot of Nyssa, Pollux, Travis, and I. Oh and a couple of me and Harley, love that kid.

''Done'' I said proudly admiring my work, Kayla put her hand on my shoulder.

''I am so excited to have another girl'' she squeaked.

I smile ''I'm excited to be here, now if you excuse me I gotta go tell Nyssa, she'll be so excited''

I assumed she'd be in bunker nine helping Leo with the Argo 2, his latest project. It was supposed to set sail June first, so like four months from now. All the Hephaestus kids spent hours out there working on it, but of course I was welcome too, who else would distract Nyssa from her work.

I walked in ''Nyssa! Your never gonna believe it''

She lifted her welding mask ''what?''

I took her hands and spun her around ''I got claimed'' I sang ''by Apollo''

She laughed ''don't you start with poetry, your dads awful at it''

I spent the afternoon 'helping' Leo and Nyssa. I mostly just sang, danced and tried out poetry, just to annoy her. Leo tripped over his own feet and fell, it was pretty funny till he threatened me with a fireball.

I walked back to camp with the Hephaestus kids, telling Nyssa all about my great ideas. Most of which she said were stupid, but one she thought was actually a great idea. We pitched it to Pollux right before dinner.

'' We think throwing a party would lighten the mood, you know with the up and coming war, and whatnot. Plus your dads the god of partying, so we thought you be a great party host?''

Pollux looked at me then at Nyssa ''I guess you're right, I can't be the son of the wine god without throwing at least one party''

I hugged him '' great! We'll work out the details after dinner''

I sat with my siblings at the Apollo table.

Chiron stood in front of everyone '' I have an announcement'' he said '' Samantha has been claimed, hail Samantha Fredrick daughter of Apollo''

Nobody really cared, though I heard a couple things from the Aphrodite table.

''I told you she wasn't pretty enough to be a Aphrodite girl'' Drew said mocking her younger sister

''That's it'' I yelled stomping over to Drew ''I've had enough of you, bullying me and just about everyone else. You think your better than everyone''

She sneered ''Whatcha gonna do about it''

I paused.

''I challenge you to a game of capture the flag, Aphrodite vs Apollo'' I said, making direct eye contact. I refuse to back down.

''Your on'' she said smiling '' tonight, after dinner''

''Deal'' and I marched back over to my table.

Everyone just stared at me.

''You stood up to Drew'' Kayla said, sounding amazed.

''Yeah let's put her in her place'' Austin chimed in.

We spent the rest of dinner plotting our game strategy.
