Grimm Fall

Chapter Two: Unlikely Kinship

The woman with golden hair shook her head as she chuckled to herself. The man under her grumbled as she held the golden jewels in her hands. She sprinkles the jewels on top of the man's face making him spit it out. She hefts her foot off of the man's chest giving him his normal breathing again.

"Run and I'll find you." The woman passive-aggressively told the man with a wink. She gave a little hop and skipped a step before strutting towards the crimson figure with her scythe drawn. "Well, well." She smirks as she began to close the distance noticing a large height advantage she had. She stood in front of the woman sizing her up looking down upon her. The crimson kept looking forward, not revealing her eyes.

"Hello, Little Red." She smirks leaning a little over to look at her face pushing her glasses up slightly. "Don't tell me that all the jobs are already taken-" The woman mocked the crimson woman. "or did you want to play vigilante again?" A chuckle blurted from the golden woman as a sudden kick made her jump back a few feet away from her.

"Not much for talking, eh?" The woman spoke shrugging. "Down to the action this time, I love that." She told Little Red as she readies her fist. She reels her right arm back as some sort of cocking her arm while her left remained in front of her.

Little Red drug her scythe into the air and twirls the scythe only to bring it back into the ground digging into it deeper. She eyes the woman in gold moving her eyes fastly watching her reaction.

"C'mon little red, did you just remember the beating I gave you last time? Did you seriously forget it?" The woman told Little Red with a cocky attitude. "I'm getting fired up just thinking about teaching you another lesson in interrupting my little shopping sprees!" The woman leaps forward with battle lust in her eyes as a tint of gold washes over her. As she lept towards Little Red in the air, she reels her fist back to throw the first punch. Little Red reacted with swift motions digging her scythe out of the ground swinging upwards catching the woman's arm. The scythe latches into the faint yellow glow of the woman's aura tossing her over Little Red.

The woman in gold tumbles onto the ground rolling a little bit further away from Little Red before boosting herself with a fiery blast against the ground creating ashy debris below her to propel her back to her feet as excitement filled her eyes. Little Red turned slightly hanging her scythe over the back of her neck tapping against it with both hands using only her first fingers. A faint whistle came from the woman as the wind rushed flowing her crimson cape.

"Thinkin' you fancy or sumthing with that trick?" The woman spoke gearing up for another attack. "Let's see how far being alone got you," The woman charges forth punching the ground sending shockwaves towards Little Red. The shockwaves cracked the concrete pavings sending more cracks towards Little Red. The ground had begun to shake as Little Red pointed her scythe towards the woman in gold. The woman angrily yells forth as she uses her fist to leverage herself forward charging Little Red again.

The woman in gold every step caused the cracks to spread further making Little Red footing unstable. The woman in gold charged like a bull head-on into Little Red grabbing her and squeezing her into a bear hug. Little Red looks down at the woman reeling her scythe back to plunge it deep into her skin but only it attacked a faint yellow glow around her as the scythe dug deep into it almost piercing the skin but shortly after, she is herself grabbed by the neck and sent into the ground as a small crater is starting to form. A faint red glow came from Little Red.

"Face it, Red. You know what happened last time and the time before and that time before!" The woman in gold yelled down patting herself with anger. Little Red seemly ignores the woman as she stands back up scythe already back in her hand. She shoots herself towards the woman to unbalance her. When shooting herself forward, in a split moment, she looked faster than a speeding bullet hurling through the air.

She collides herself with the woman pushing her to the nearest lamp post causing a dent as the woman smiled to herself when Little Red reels back from the attack.

"Still not learning your lesson." She mutters to herself as steam starts to rise from her skin. Little Red stands before her with her scythe behind her neck again, tapping and whistling, almost seemly to taunt the golden woman. The woman punches the lamp post breaking it off sending it to the ground in a fiery display. She growls at Little Red holding her hands up to a boxer stance punching the air. With three quick jabs in the air, fire spurts out towards Little Red.

Little Red brings the scythe forward twirling the flames and fanning the flames out of her way. As the night pierces through the final font of the flames, the golden woman flies through the flames grabbing against Little Red's scythe. She uses her strength pressing down against the scythe pressuring Little Red into the ground again. The woman in gold grins pushing Little Red further into the ground sweat starts to overtake Little Red from the aura around the woman.

As Little Red's footing starts to slip, the wind spirals around the two. She pushes with all the strength she had left to quickly recover her footing and move to the side faster than she could feel her breath. Her form took shape of a red blur twirling around the arm of the golden woman. A slight tinge of pain befallen the woman as Little Red climbed on her arm attempting to break it.

"The hell?" The woman in gold spoke as her arm lifted to the air with Little Red standing on her back pulling. "That speed bullshit isn't going to last for long!" She yelled as her muscle tenses up in pain as her faint yellow aura crackles and disappears. The woman begins to yell out into the night as Little Red pulls with all of her might. She kicks the woman in gold's face in causing her to kneel onto the ground. She tries desperately to grab Little Red but she couldn't reach her as the sound of bones cracking under pressure was heard.

A cry, a yell was heard throughout the streets. She gripped the scythe below her and tosses it to the side as she slams the ground. She growls and grovels in pain as Little Red lets go of the now limp arm dangling off of the woman in gold's arm. A faint whimper could have been heard.

"You, think?" The woman in gold asked Little Red. Little Red pressures her foot on the head of the woman and the back. "You think that breaking my arm and aura is going to stop me? Render me useless?" Before she finished she grabbed Little Red's leg surprising her and slung her against a building wall. The sound of crackling was heard when a bright red glow disappears from Little Red making her slump into the small crater into the wall. Without a moment's notice, the woman in gold punches and kept punching Little Red's face and body furious at what she did. She ended with grabbing her face and slamming her against the sidewalk knocking Little Red unconscious.

"Just because someone's aura is done for, doesn't mean they aren't out for the count." She sneers in pain as she grabbed her broken arm cursing under her breath. She sits down for a moment catching her breath looking down at Little Red. She sighs as she stood back up looking at the carnage they had caused into the street.

She looks towards the man but, the man had disappeared. She blinks for a moment in anger as she taps her glasses to reveal a faint glow of gold on the ground. The very ground where she threw Little Red's scythe. The scythe was now gone and replaced was with gold and jewels mocking at the woman in gold.

"She is going to kill me." She muttered as she walked over to where the man was punching the lamp post out from frustration. "And it's killing me that I now owe her." She looks over at Little Red on the ground. She walks back over pulling the black hair to take a good look at her face to see a bruised and bloody mess. She shakes her head.

"At least the aura we have can heal that but this-" She flails her limp arm as her face winces in pain, "Can't fix this or some of that." She growls as she heaves Little Red over her shoulder carrying her. "Let's go home, Little Sis." She mutters to herself looking back once again at the rubbles and chaos they created. She looked towards the building that had not burned down yet but the wind seemly took care of fanning the flames.

With the cold air breezing past the woman in gold, she carries Little Red further into the night streets limping away.

The breeze rushes as the man runs in fear with a scythe in hand. The panting of a man fearing death looms over him as heavy rain begins to fall. He looks over his shoulder to find no one following him but paranoia consumes him. The man slips and stumbles around on the ground through the empty street towards gated fences. His fingers clamp to the fence to force himself up to run a little further. He looks towards the sign that has been battered and loose by a screw, "Vale Harbor Co.," The man opens the gated door and enters with fear rushing towards a hanger.

The man slams through the hanger door looking behind his back once before bumping into a figure in the shadows. He falls backward with him throwing the scythe upwards into the air only for a figure to extend their cane outwards catching the scythe. The lights dangle from side to side only giving brief sight of the figure. The man in white looks up towards the figure sighing.

"That woman she-" The man scrambled to his feet only to be hushed by the figure. The light flickers as the sound of lighting hit the ground. The figure in the shadow is a man. He wore a red-lined white suit with long black dress pants along with a pair of black dress shoes as opposed to the blank white the other man wore. He had his black-gloved finger pointed up to his lip. As the light stopped focusing on the man, he had faint red hair with devious green eyes. His bangs cover his right eye.

"Goldy is at it again, huh?" The well-dressed man observes the red scythe he had in his hand. His eyes keeping not only the scythe in check but the man in front of him.

"I am sorry. She just, burnt everyone in her path." The frazzled half-broken masked man spoke. "How do you deal with someone who can do all of that with just one punch?" The man asked.

The red-haired man simply glanced back at the scythe then back at the man. "Tell me, tell me everything that happened." He spoke with a small smile looking down on the man.

"Of course, Mister Wick." The man bowed before Mister Wick showing his obedience and loyalty.
