Peter just got done from work, still having no idea where Doc Ock is, he decides to take a minute to investigate the culture he's been in for the past two weeks. As he's watching a news network in the same pizza restaurant he works at, he notices that licensed heroes are praised while vigilantes are looked down upon, with no visible news coverage of his vigilantism. The sun was beginning to set as Peter ate his dinner
Peter Parker (thoughts): Well that means I'm not gonna get any more popularity than I did back in New York, well, at least I'm glad I'm used to it
Waitress: Anything else?
Peter Parker: No thanks
Peter went to pay until he heard sirens, fumbling with his Japanese, he pays as quickly as possible and heads to a nearby alleyway to change as fast as he could. Once he did, he followed the cops to an enormous bank. There, he saw heroes fighting for their lives as a huge blond man attacked them viciously. The heroes present fought back with what seemed like water coming from their hands, but it wasn't enough
Blonde Man: HAHAHAHA, you two are too weak to even defend these puny weaklings! I'm gonna take ALL the money to start a gang and wage war against you pathetic heroes!
Water hero (Male): I'm almost out of water, how are you holding up!?
Water hero (Female): I can still keep going, you go get the civilians out of here!
Water hero (Male): Alright!
Blonde Man: Oh NO YOU DONT!
The blonde man seems to get bigger, exposing muscle fibers and hurls himself at the hero. He grabs the man and throws him into the side of a wall, knocking him out
Water Hero (Female): Leave him alone!
A gush of water hits the blonde man, but it barely even fazes him anymore
Water Hero (Female): Who are you!?
Blonde Man: The names Muscular! That last attack was WEAK compared to your other ones! You and your partner are too weak to face me anymore!
Muscular goes to kill the male water hero, but before he can, Spider-Man slingshots himself towards Muscular and kicks him in the side, cracking some ribs
Spider-Man: Hey Muscular, you should really try to apply for Mr. Olympus, that's where meatheads like you compete against each other
Muscular: Huh, who are you! Wait, where are you!?
Spider-Man: Up here Osama Bin Liftin!
As Muscular looks up, Spider zips down and kicks Muscular in the face, dazing Muscular for a few seconds
Spider-Man goes to the male water hero and puts him on his shoulder, jumping over muscular and putting him next to the other water hero
Water Hero (Female): How did you do . . . who . . . what!?
Spider-Man: Ugh, yes? Me no speak Japanese well
Muscular envelops himself in more muscle fibers and charges at the heroes, but Spidey goes underneath and shoots two webs at Muscular's feet and pulls him back, making him fall short of where the heroes were. The crowd began to cheer, with Spider-Man thinking they were cheering for the water heroes
Muscular: WHO ARE YOU!?
Peter saw this as his opportunity to show who he was, so he mustered up the best Japanese he could
Spider-Man: Names Spider-Man!
Muscular charged at Spidey, but he missed every time
Spider-Man: Oleigh!
To Spider-Man's suprise, he was being cheered on by the crowd. He tried telling them to flee, but they wouldn't listen
Spider-Man: Hey, did villain go inside bank!?
Water Hero (Female): He tried, but we didn't let him!
Muscular: I'm tired of this crowd! Let's see how you like it when the heroes have to make a choice! Save you, or defeat me if they can!
Muscular grabbed a bus and threw it at the crowd as he jumped away. Suddenly, Spider-Man jumped in front of the crowd and tried catching the bus
Spider-Man: Come on come on come on! Gotta lift this!
The people stared in awe at Spider-Man as he carried the bus over his back
Spider-Man: This may not be my first rodeo, but man this bus is heavier than I thought it would be!
When he finally set it down, the people cheered his name
Crowd: SPIDER-MAN, SPIDER-MAN, SPIDER-MAN!
Spider-Man (thoughts): Well this is new, hate to see it go away once they know, might as well not get their hopes up
Spider-Man: Everyone, I IS VIGILANTE!
The crowd went silent, until a few boys started cheering again. The crowd was confused, but the boys said something about heroism, to what Spidey could understand at least. Suddenly, the crowd started cheering again until more heroes arrived. However, before he left, he allowed a reporter to ask him one question
Reporter: Why did you put yourself in harms way when you know it's illegal?
Spider-Man thought, he knew this was either going to make him another vigilante or something else. However, a memory came to him and said in english
Spider-Man: With Great Power, Comes a Great Responsability
Spider-Man swung away with the local heroes that arrived for backup just arriving. The heroes asked around who the vigilante was. Soon, the police arrived and began filing a report. However, everyone made way for a limousine arriving. A man stepped out with his wife and daughter, all of them had black hair and onyx eyes. The guards stepped forward of the bank
Mr. Yaoyorozu: What happened?
Guard 1: He was after the money, but the villain luckily didn't get into the bank!
Mrs. Yaoyorozu: Then who was the man in red and blue?
Guard 1: He's a vigilante that assisted ma'am
Guard 2: ASSISTED!? More like the one who defeated him!
Mr. Yaoyorozu: I'll see the footage and judge it myself
Daughter: That guy is exploding on youtube
Mr. Yaoyorozu: Let's see what these people recorded?
The Yaoyorozu's looked at the recording of the fight, and saw the water heroes doing their best to stop the villain, but it wasn't enough. When all hoped seemed lost, the guy in red and blue stepped in and brought new hope. They saw his comedic displays, his wit in combat, and him catching the bus. Then a news article popped up about him, saying he did what he did because "With Great Power Comes Great Responsability" in English, which the whole family understood, while the guards didn't
Mrs. Yaoyorozu: Such wise words for a vigilante
Mr. Yaoyorozu: What do you think Momo? I want to hear your opinion as well dear
Momo: He seems too good to be true, but apparently he's done more vigilantism in the past according to police reports published by the local papers. He leaves right after he saves the day, and leaves almost no damages after his actions. He's gotta know something about being a pro
Mr. Yaoyorozu: If he didn't step in, we could have lost so much, even with insurance. We must find him and repay him, as much as I hate to admit that we needed a vigilante to save us, indirectly or not
