It's been a few days since the incident with Muscular, and although Peter has been sleeping, he hasn't slept well
Peter Parker: Sheesh, I've got to get an apartment, as much as like paying no rent, I haven't showered in a private bath in a while. Glad work's done, and I finally got paid, except I can't afford any nearby apartments with this salary. I have to go out of the city if I wanna get a place to live
As the day turned to night, Peter became Spider-Man once more, problem is, his suit started to smell. He sadly couldn't wash it in any public washing machine place since it was always busy. He didn't want to risk his identity being revealed, but in exchange he had a smelly suit. he also had no safe place to put away his gifts, forcing him to hide the gifts in a trash bag
Spider-Man: Ugh, this suit smells like sweat and cheese, not a good combo
As Spider-Man swang through the city, using his spider-sense to detect nearby danger. As he swung through the rich side of the city, he saw a heist going on at the restaurant
Spider-Man: Well, it's time to get to work, just wished I wouldn't smell in a rich people restaurant. Their reaction to me is going to be bitter, I hope its closer to bittersweet though
Spider-Man swung into the doors, knocking them open
Spider-Man: Hey thugs, if ya rob a restaurant with this many rich people, your gonna get sued
The thugs began shooting
Spider-Man: Everyone get down!
Spidey dodged all the bullets and webbed the guns, making them unable to shoot
Spider-Man: Fight me mano a mano you ladrones!
One thug tried punching Spidey, but instead of hitting him, all he hit was air
Spider-Man: Up here
Everyone was shocked that the guy in red and blue was clinging to the ceiling, which Spider-Man used as an opportunity to attack the thugs by jumping down with an axe kick. Then the thugs tried attacking again, but Spidey dodged like a boxer and punched them towards the tables. However, instead of letting them hit the tables and knocking them over, he webbed them and pulled them towards him and received them with an uppercut and webbed them to the ceiling
Spider-Man (thoughts): Don't wanna get sued by these people
Spider-Man did this over and over, finishing the last one by chopping the back of their neck
Spider-Man: Well that was easier than robbing a kid a candy store, oh, probably shouldn't say that out loud
The whole restaurant applauded , with Spider-Man bowing even though he had no idea why they would clap to a vigilante, until he remembered the reporter. Not only was he making a name for himself, he also left the restaurant intact with no damages. Before he could leave though, he was approached by the people asking him if he wanted something in return. However, everyone went silent when a family of three approached the vigilante in English
?: Hello sir, my name is Mr. Yaoyorozu, and this is my wife and daughter. We were the owners of the bank you helped keep from being destroyed and you were the one who forced the villain to retreat. Your the Spider-Man correct?
Spider-Man: Yeah that's me
Mr. Yaoyorozu: Would you mind if . . . oh what is that horrendous smell!?
Spider-Man: That's sadly me sir, I've been living on the streets for some time now and haven't been able to wash my suit
Mr. Yaoyorozu: How could I repay you, besides paying to get you clean?
Spider-Man: Ouch, I get I smell like a skunk but jeez . . . didn't have to be so brutal
Mr. Yaoyorozu: Hah, good one! But seriously, I'm forever indebted for what you did, is there anything I can do to help?
Spider-Man thought, he didn't want to take advantage of the man, but really needed the help. He might need the help later on
Spider-Man: Can I just know where the nearest private laundry room is?
As much as Mr. Yaoyorozu insisted on helping the beloved wallcrawler, Spidey said no. However, the man gave Spider-Man a business card, saying that he would help him in case Spider-Man accepted the help. Spidey left quickly as to not face the police for his illegal heroics. Little did he know, he had befriended one of the richest families in Japan. Also, the restaurant owner met Spidey and recognized him. The owner came to the same opinion that Mr. Yaoyorozu had, that he was on the side of the people.
