The rest of the year passes without much incident. Okay, that's not entirely true; there was something worth noting. One day, as usual, Denki and Shouto sparred in the gym, and Shouto had an idea.

"What do you think will happen if I absorb lightning on my cold side?" he asked.

"Let's find out." replied Denki, and with his friend's permission, blasted the other, and the lightning wrapped around his arm similar to before.

"It's working the same...wait, something's wrong." Shouto said, and as the lightning reached the invisible line between hot and cold, it exploded outward, sparks and trails of energy shooting from Shouto, who collapsed to the floor.

"Oh, no. Shouto, are you okay? Wake up!" Denki said, shaking his friend, who wasn't answering. And then he was.

"[Denki, what the frick.]"

Denki blinked. Shouto hadn't moved his mouth, but he'd heard the other's voice clearly.

"[Did we switch bodies? Why does this sort of thing always happen to me?]"

Shouto's voice...was coming from inside his head.

"You're in my head. Why are you IN MY HEAD!" Denki screeched, because this was a Major Problem.

"[Considering Tuesday, my soul must be loose in my body or something.]" Shouto's voice says.

"[Considering Tuesday?]" Denki thinks, and then realizes, oh no, Shouto can hear his thoughts, he is doomed.

"[Long story. Don't worry--I can only hear your thoughts if you specifically think them at me--and how do I get out of you?]" Shouto thinks at him.

"[You phrased that wrong.]" Denki thinks aggressively.

"Is Shouto all right? What's going on?" Tokoyami shouts, stalking over from the other end of the gym.

"He's fine. Nothing." Shouto says. Then pauses.

"HEY! How did you do that?" Denki shouts, because Shouto had just spoken to Tokoyami using his body, which was very creepy.

"Are you sure you're all right?" Tokoyami asks, looking first at Denki, then at the prone Shouto.

Tokoyami was attacking a punching bag when he heard Denki scream. He didn't hear the words, but looked over to see Denki holding his head with an air of panic, standing over Shouto, who lay unconscious, eyes closed. He asked what was going on.

"He's fine. Nothing." Denki responded, face sliding suspiciously to a sudden calm. And then--

"HEY! How did you do that?" Denki shouts, panicking again. Tokoyami narrowed his eyes. Something was definitely wrong. Was someone using a quirk to disguise themselves as Denki?

"What the frick. It's not Tuesday." Shouto suddenly said, jerking himself awake, and Denki screamed, and leaped backwards--but stopped.

"Something seems to have gone wrong." he said, in a very monotone voice.

"Shouto? Are you possessing Denki? How'd that happen?" Shouto, who is not Shouto, what the frick, says.

"We tried to figure out what would happen if I tried lightning redirection on my ice side, and it exploded, and now I'm in his head. And you're in my head. And it's not Tuesday." Denki, who was actually Shouto, said. Wait.

"Are you Tuesday's passenger?" Tokoyami asked.

"Who--who are you?" Denki asked, looking at whoever was possessing Shouto.

"Hey. I'm Zuko. Sometimes known as Tuesday's passenger." he said.

"What." Denki asked, then screwed up his face.

"This--is is why you're so strange on Tuesdays? Because you switch bodies with someone else? And how does Tokoyami know about him?" he asked, and a moment passed.

"Huh." he said, and then a jolt of electricity shot from his fingertips, lancing into Zuko, whose eyes flickered from Todoroki's mismatching blue and grey to an orangey-red and back again. Denki's eyes changed from brown to Todoroki's colors simultanously.

"That was weird." Denki said.

"I wonder what happened back where Zuko was." Shouto muttered.

(Zuko had collapsed while reading; Mai had poked her head into his room once she heard the thump, and seen him with his face on the table. She then decided it was none of her business.)

The rest of the year passed with little incident, and it was soon time for the summer camp; it was going to be awesome!

It was not awesome. Todoroki, Katsuki and Shinsou ran through a forest that burned blue, trying to get away from the villains--the actual [bleeping] villains, how'd they find the camp?

"If it isn't...Todoroki Shouto." There's a villain in front of them, wearing all black and covered in scars, hand burning blue.

"Dabi?" Shinsou asks. It is Dabi, it's his best friend, and he's a villain. Dabi immediately drops his evil grin and looks terribly uncomfortable.

"Um. I'm just going to. Leave now." he says.

"You know that [bleeper]?" Katsuki asks Shinsou, who is low-key panicking.

"We met a long time ago, we've been friends forever, I had no idea he was a villain, I promise!" Shinsou says, turning away from his friend, who doesn't respond. Shinsou looks back. They aren't there.

"KACCHAN!" Izuku screams, and there's a masked villain holding marbles, and a swirling portal of mist, and it's over as soon as it begun.

"We have to save Todoroki and Bakugou." Yaoyorozu says, and waves a tracker at the group.

"We can't. This is a very delicate situation, and we are forbidden by the teachers from getting involved." Tenya says.

"I want to stab bad guys. I'm in." Himiko says.

"Kacchan's in danger." Izuku says, and Kirishima explains how unmanly it would be to leave Shouto and Bakugou in the hands of villains. The only other person nearby was Shinsou, and he had his headphones in, and was texting furiously.

"He won't answer, the bastard!" Shinsou shouted, and stalked out.

"I attached a tracker to one of those Nomus. We're going to go help--and judging by whatever happened at Hosu that you two refuse to talk about--we aren't going to attack anyone with our quirks. We have to get in and out." Yaoyorozu says.

"We need disguises." Tenya says. This isn't a problem for Himiko, but the others all go shopping for disguises; Izuku looks like a gangster, and Kirishima's hair is oddly flat.

"It's at Kamino; that's where all the heroes are gearing up to attack, anyway." Izuku says, and the group continues on. It's only been a day since Katsuki and Todoroki were kidnapped, and UA hasn't heard anything from the so-called League of Villains yet.

Chances are, most of you know the story. Pizza delivery, running, crashing, iceberg, soaring, KACCHAN! JUMP!, the fight, Small Might, the punch, you're next. That's what's fated; what's foretold. However, here, fate had long since been handchopped off the rails, and there is only one sentence that properly sums up what happens next:

Everything is fricked. That's what Dabi thought, watching Endeavor's son (he feels so much hatred towards the hero, he doesn't know why) and the potential recruit, Bakugou Katsuki, wake up in the main room.

"You're like us, Bakugou." Shigaraki gives the two his recruitment spiel, but Dabi can tell neither will go for it. He hadn't expected to run into Shinsou; he was joining the League to change the world, to fix it in the same way that it broke him, but now, remembering the look on his friend's face, he wondered whether it was worth it. Maybe things would have turned out differently, if he knew who he was; if he had any memory of anything before ten years past. Bakugou and Todoroki yell how they are heroes, and they'll never be anything else, and so Dabi hauls them to the back room.

"We'll work on them again tomorrow. I'm especially interested in the mod-user." Shigaraki says, and Dabi hopes maybe things will be better, tomorrow, as well.

Notes:

Denki knows about Zuko!

Dabi is so very awkward

Things will get even more awkward, because tomorrow...is Tuesday
