The first thing we did since my spat with the bouncer was that I found out what day of the week it was. Today is Saturday, which means that I can start working tonight, as well as having a sort of tutorial night where things won't be as eventful so I can learn the ropes.
My 'handlers' so to speak where the twins from the yellow trailer. They looked at me with a flat gaze that still somehow conveyed a huge amount of judgment and a feeling of disbelief.
"So… You're 'the girls' that Junior said would be showing me the ropes… Got any names?" I asked. I already know their names, but it would be better to ask and be polite.
"Melanie" "Miltia"
"Malachite." They ended simultaneously. They started to make their way up a set of stairs behind the bar, to which I followed not too far behind.
They lead up to a series of hotel like rooms, leading me to an empty one at the end of the hall. It had a bed with a couch and a desk, but that was about it. I walked in with them and they closed the door behind them as they entered themselves.
"This will be your room for now. Normally these rooms are reserved for people who are unfit to drive home and don't have a designated driver." Melanie said, walking up to me and placing the key in my hands. I nodded before the two girls made their way to the door. Miltia looked back over her shoulder to me, giving me a blank stare all the while.
"You're shift begins at 8 tonight." Melanie turned back over to join her sister's look.
"Don't be late." And with that, the door closed, leaving me alone once again.
Congratulations! ^u^
You got a job!
"Why are you locked in the bathroom?"
"You talking to me?"
"Maybe you should try getting a job."
You get 1 Gacha Coin!
Well, I don't even know how many people recognize that meme. I took a moment to take in a few more details about the room, most notably the alarm clock. I made a beeline over to it, and set it for 7. That way I can have some time to get ready for the shift.
After doing that, I laid back on the bed, noticing the spring mattress that made it clear this thing wasn't made for long term use, and contemplated my next move. I'm gathering a decent deck of cards, now I just need to be smart about my next step and hope that I don't drop the ball right now.
After a short while of planning, I decided that now would be a good time to use my gacha coin.

You have received:
C – Attraction of Small Objects – Perfect for protecting you kids from falling knives
That's… slightly disappointing but I'm not going to get upset. Well, maybe I can get Inko's great parenting skills as well. For all I know that could be genetic.
I decided to spend a little bit of time practicing with the attraction power, pulling out the drawers a few times. I tried to so if I could push objects away from me as well, but I don't know if that's within my capabilities at the moment.
Eventually I got bored and decided to take a nap, closing my eyes as I laid down on the bed.
I don't really remember, but I think I had a dream about cheese.
I woke up to the sound of the alarm going off and picked myself up off the bed to turn it off. I saw that there was a change of clothes piled up on the dresser with a note. I picked up the note.
Hey kid. I asked the girls to bring up a change of clothes for your first day along with some cleaning supplies. I thought it might be useful for you to look the part of the security, you don't have to worry about buying a suit for work. The laundry supplies and the hygiene products will however, will be taken out of your first paycheck. Don't worry to much though, it won't take to much out of it.
Junior
I now need to give my thanks to the man when I see him next. I looked over to the stack of clothes that I now recognize as the suits that are worn by some of the guys in the yellow trailer. I inspected the fabric as I picked it up, noting how the material felt somewhat cheap. I guess this is as far as Junior's willing to go for me, even if I impressed him.
I made my way over to the shower. I did have one in the morning, but I know that a motel like the one I stayed in would not have very clean showers, so I decided it would be best to have a clean face for my first night.
After a quick shower I dried off and put on the suit, before making my way downstairs to the bar. When I got there, I saw both of the Malachite twins sitting at the bar. Pretty soon after I got there, they noticed me and made their way over.
"We're going to give you a breakdown over your job, and afterwards we're going to sleep." Melanie stated.
"We technically weren't supposed to work tonight so we don't want to waste anymore time than necessary to get you up to speed." Miltia added on, before both girls made their way towards the door, with me following in tow.
We made our way to the front door, and I saw the line of people waiting for the club to open so they could make their way in. I stood off to the side as the twins gave me their instructions.
"All you need to do is make sure everybody is of age and has proper ID." Miltia said.
"And know that if you must take bribes, be a good boy and give Junior a small portion of it. Otherwise, you may have to deal with more than just a pink slip." Melanie then said, trying to sound more ominous, though she seemed too tired to properly get that feeling across.
Melanie then handed me a walkie talkie, before leaving back inside.
"If there's any fights inside that need to be broken up with either intimidation or muscle, you'll be called with that. Now we need some sleep. Hope your shift goes well." Miltia tiredly said, before leaving herself.
After a few minutes of mental preparation and eavesdropping on some of the groups in line I got a buzz on the walkie talkie.
"Alright kid we're ready, start letting people in."
"Got it boss." I responded, pulling a red rope off of its latch and hooking it back onto its pole. Immediately people noticed this and started moving.
"ID." I said roughly, trying to give off and intimidating impression, and considering I stretched the fabric off my suit to its limits, it seemed to work.
The first few groups went through smoothly, until one particularly snotty looking frat boy got to the front of the line.
"ID." I said roughly, and in response the guy pulled out a clearly fake driver's license. I looked over it and just gave him an unimpressed look.
"Brat if you want to fool anyone with a fake ID, you may want to up your game." I said simply, handing his card back to him. This immediately seemed to set him off.
"You absolute garbage man! How dare you insinuate such a blasphemous thing! Don't you know who I am!" He yelled out. I took a second to look at him, and yes, I do in fact know who he is. I recognize that white hair anywhere.
"You are Whitely Schnee aren't you?" I said, more a statement than a question. A smug expression then appeared on his face, as if he thought that it really changed anything. Well, it actually did, but it didn't change it in a good way.
"I don't care who your daddy is, either leave or get out." I said, not leaving any room or an argument. I know I basically gave him two versions of the same action, but I don't think I would or could accept a bribe from him, regardless of the amount. This did nothing but aggravate him more.
"You let me in this instant or I will bury you." He threatened. I simply responded by picking up my walkie talkie.
"Hey boss, got a spoiled Schnee brat here causing a ruckus at the door, what should I do?" I asked, ignoring the boy's continued insults.
"Ugh, don't let him in. He may buy a lot of things, but it doesn't make up for all of the faunus customers we'd lose if the word got out." He said, sounding like he's had to deal with this before.
"Right. Sorry, but I can't let you in. You'll need to go somewhere else." I spoke. This seemed to push the white-haired rich kid over the edge, throwing a sloppy punch while yelling incoherently.
Rather than bothering with a shield or dodging, I pushed myself into his fist as it collided with my face, before pushing through the pin prick of pain as I returned the favor with strong arm, knocking him to the ground with a bloody nose.
"Get out of here brat, before I call the cops and have to embarrass you more." I said, before looking up to see at the familiar faces of team CFVY, of which both Coco and Velvet had their phones out recording the events. Ignoring them for a moment I looked back down at the face of the younger Schnee, as he met my eyes with a fearful look in his eyes and a hand over his bloodied nose.
"Do you want me to call you an ambulance or do you want to head to the hospital yourself?" I asked, which seemed to knock him out of his trance as he stood up and ran away.
"Next in line." I move on, which the next in line was actually Coco and her team. As they stepped up I held out my hand.
"ID." To which they handed me some more fake IDs, though that's because I already knew their ages and that they shouldn't be let inside, but what Junior doesn't know will probably make him money in this case.
"Good enough, just don't give yourselves away, that'll get me in trouble." I said, causing Velvet to freeze up as she recognized what I meant.
"Alright tiger." Coco said as she patted my shoulder, starting to make her way in, though she turned around and showed me her scroll. "If you need any help in court, I'll be posting this video online. So don't worry too much about the Schnee lawyers." She added on as she went inside.
I gave a slight sigh; I hope I don't keep getting involved in these types of situations. What was Whitely even doing here? Isn't he from Atlas?
A/N: From here on I'm gonna start including some custom Quirks along with cannon ones, so just be prepared for that. Alright have a good day bye!
