I entered into the club just as the sun began to rise. The building was empty of customers, with only Junior and his group moseying about and cleaning up the place. The space was filled with a sort of calm elevator type music, but it was quiet and slightly subdued.
"Hey boss man, I got the twins some breakfast, should I take it up to them or do you want to do it?" I asked, he looked up from the table he was wiping and just gave me a grunt. I pulled out the change leftover from the lien he gave me and set it down on the table next to the one he was cleaning.
"Thanks." He said quickly, putting down his bottle of disinfectant and towel to pick up the money. After he did so, I made my way up to the hallway behind the bar.
I remember where the twin's room was because they had a door with decorations on it. On the right was lots of snowflakes and a mountain landscape, while on the left was a display of rose petals and rubies. How meta… I think. Would this be meta?
I knocked on the door, which caused a shocked squeak to come from behind the door.
"What is it Melanie?" someone said from behind the door. I'm pretty sure that it was Miltia who said that, she did ask her sister after all.
"There's someone at the door." She said, followed by rustling sounds. I then saw the door open, revealing a more casually dressed Melanie. She had a shirt on that was several sizes to big for her, which was a maroon color and had the word 'bunnies' in bold white letters.
"Oh, it's you. What is it?" She asked, trying to sound aggressive. I just held the bag out to her.
"I was getting breakfast and got you two some." I answered. Melanie took the bag from me, before starting to close the door. Before she closed it all of the way, the gave a short 'thank you' before it shut.
After a while I decided to head out over to the industrial district from yesterday, now with a new goal in mind. Now was about the time to start training. I found a different factory and made my way inside, busting open the door like I had with the previous one. I had some hopes for this one, and I found exactly what I wanted.
The place was filled with scrap. It had junk from washing machines to doors, car pars and… is that a few factory line robot I see. If anybody watched My Hero will probably know what I'm planning.
First is to gather all of it into one pile. I made my way over to the washing machine I saw earlier, before bending down and lifting with my legs and back. It was lighter than I expected it to be, but that could likely be attributed to my larger physique.
I let my body settle into a rhythm of moving objects, while I moved my conscious thoughts elsewhere. I eventually thought back to the question Roman asked me earlier. What do I want to do? Well, actually I already figured that out. The real thing that stumped me was the 'why'. Why did I want to save Vale?
That single question filled my head for the rest of the time that I was working out. Why should I save people? What do I get out of it? What would be the consequences?
After a while the sun started to beat in through the holes in the ceiling, signifying that I was close to noon. Wow, had I already been doing this for half a day?
I decided to take a break to find some lunch, and along the way I decided to spin the gacha.

Congratulations!
You have received:
C – Color shift – Change the color and shade of your hair, eyes, and skin to any shade
U – Hair control – Control your hair's length and thickness, as well as giving it telepathic commands
I can see that being useful. The hair control reminds me of the ability Jiraya had where he made a shield out of it, and they could be used in tandem to create a pretty clever disguise.
After a quick stop and a steak later, I was making my way back to the factory when the ground gave a rumble. I looked around me to see a plume of dark smoke building up around a block away. I suddenly felt my legs moving as I ran in the direction of the smoke as fast as they could carry me.
When I got there, it seemed to be a five-story office building with fire building out of the top two floors. What happened? Some sort of explosion?
"There's people trapped up there!" A lady yelled, I looked closer to see that there were office workers poking their heads out of the windows of the building.
Once again my feet started moving from under me, this time heading into the alleyway a short way from the building. What am I doing? Am I gonna save them? I can't do that; I'll be outing myself as abnormal… wait a minute.
As I got up to the back fire exit of the building, I shifted my hair color and eyes. I made my skin tanner while I shifted my hair to a familiar set of blond peaks. Right now, I looked like a younger, less buff All Might. I slapped my cheeks to ready myself mentally. If my legs wouldn't let me leave, then I'll have to help people feel at ease. I'll need to give that feeling that he did when he saved people.
I dashed into the building and made my way up the floors, most of the building was already abandoned. I got up to the floor of the fire to see that the floor above had collapsed. I charged up strong arm and started attacking the rubble, digging it away to my sides.
I eventually made it though to see around four people. They were at the window, trying to avoid the smoke in the building. Suddenly I saw the ceiling crack, and thinking fast, I grabbed the four workers into my arm, and made a leap out the window to the roof of the neighboring building.
I let them down safely, seeing them look up at me as they adjusted their eyes to the sunlight. Time to get into character.
"HA HA HA! THERE'S NO NEED TO FEAR CITIZENS! WHY? BECAUSE I! AM! HERE!" I yelled in my best impression, giving a wide smile and a dramatic pose for emphasis. They gave me a look that said they thought I was crazy.
Not bothering with them any longer, ran and leaped back into the burning building, all the while ignoring their yells for me to stop.
I looked through the rest of the floor, not finding anyone else. I'm glad that the building had an open floor plan or else this would have taken a dangerous amount of time. I decided to move my way up to the next floor before the building structure deteriorated any further.
There were three people on the last floor, with two of them trying to lift some rubble off of the last one, who seemed to be in a great deal of pain. Not taking any time, I made my way over there, and started to lift the large piece of rubble. This made the weight significantly lighter to the two office workers, who looked and the new presence.
"Why hello there! You three seem like you could use a helping hand." I said, noting their look of surprise.
I scooped up the three in my arms, and made a leap onto the ceiling through one of the collapsed holes. I then made a dash over to the building I landed onto before and jumped towards it. The impact was slightly harder on my legs but I could deal with it.
"There you go." I said, setting them down, they, as well as those who I saved before, looked at me with surprise.
I looked over the railing on the side of the roof to see that the fire fighters had arrived and were working their way towards the building to put out the fire.
"Is everyone here? There weren't others in the building with you all, right?" I asked, to which everyone shook their heads.
"It's a small company, and we all know each other by name. If there was someone still in there, we would know."
"I see!" I said, standing up strait in a superman like pose, with my fists on my waist. "Well, be sure to call out whenever you're in danger, an I will be there to help. WHY YOU MAY ASK? BECAUSE I AM, ALL MIGHT!" I yelled out, before making a dramatic leap from building to building,
After a number of city blocks I eventually started making my way back into the abandoned factory, before finally relaxing and letting my appearance shift back to normal. I then kneeled down on the floor and groaned. Why did I do that? Why did I feel the need to do that?
When I saw this timid, quirkless boy try to save a life, it inspired me to act to.
What?
There are stories about every hero.
How they became great.
Why am I remembering this?
Most have one thing in common.
Their bodies moved before they had a chance to think.
The memory of my body moving to run towards the burning building flashed in my mind.
Almost on their own.
And today, that's what happened to you.
…
It did, didn't it.
Young man, you too can become a hero.
I suppose, I'll become a hero after all. I found a reason to fight for them, to protect the world.
Just like All Might, and just like all of those incredible comic book heroes, I'll become a symbol of peace and justice for this fractured and broken world to look to.
I swear it.
Congratulations!
You have saved people in your first heroic outing
You get 1 Gacha Coin!
