Buttercup stood at the door of speech class waiting for her blonde sister to walk through the door. "So when were you going to tell us you were taking the car?"

"Just now Buttercup, I'm taking the car today." Bubbles answered, brushing past her to her desk.

It wasn't like Buttercup missed the days that her sister was a little cry baby but it also wasn't like she didn't. "Yeah smartass do you even have the keys?"

Bubbles stopped at her desk a good distance from her sister and pulled out a very familiar set of keys. "Coopers isn't that far but you still have to drive there." Buttercup had eyes widened for a fraction of a second before she rolled them. She was almost impressed with the set of balls her sister had grown over the years.

"You both know that Blossom has to go to the Mayor's office today right?" Blink was already at her desk. She had slipped in her usual silent fashion. "So she'll probably end up with the keys by the end of the day."

"Not today she won't, I'm going Christmas shopping and there is nothing you guys can do to stop me. I mean I've been planning this for weeks. It would be cruel." She said playing a picture of innocents. Causing the three boys listening in who happened to the Buttercup long time friends to intervene with their very unneeded opinion.

"Come on Butters, she's being sweet and going shopping for you. Just let her have the car." Llyode said coming to the blonde's defense casually throwing his arm over the raven haired girl shoulder.

"You and Blossom always have today off, just let her take the car." Floyde added also coming to the baby's defense. Though unlike his brother he did it with big doe eyes. "She's being sweet Bc. It's not like you have anything else to do."

It was no secret that Floyde had the biggest crush on the blond and he kinda got a little stupid in the head when she was around. Or that's what Buttercup assumed because what he just said was stupid. But it was one of those annoying little things that Buttercup couldn't control, like the little antidote x laced metal bracelet that was wrapped around her wrist.

"Something that my oh so sweet sister failed to mention is that she didn't tell us she was even taking the car until this morning when she tried to bribe us with coffee." Her heated glare seared over her idiot friends.

"Tried? If I remember correctly you drank it. So I'd say it was successful." Bubbles piped up brows furrowing. "You know I had a long night, so I'm taking the car! You two can walk wherever you need to go!" With that she took her seat and faced the front ending the argument.

Buttercup rolled her eyes. This is how Bubbles operated: she would plan something, tell no one then when it was time she would get them something nice and drop the bomb. Then they were left scrambling to find normal alternatives because it wasn't like they could just fly to where they needed to go and it was like she forgot that. The worst part was that Bubbles wasn't stupid or forgetful she just didn't bother to think. She was spontaneous and impulsive.

"So if she just dropped it on you, how's Blossom gonna get to the Mayor's office or home?" Mitch asked finally breaking from that stupid trance the blond caught people in.

"She can probably ask Mrs. Bellum to pick her up and bring her home." Blink, who had been a silent observer till this point, finally spoke.

"And what about you Blink your working today?" It seemed Floyde was finally done gawking too.

"I already called Grandpa, he said he would get me. He kinda expected this." Though her interjection was short lived as she yawned laying head on the desk and she did what she did in most classes, sleep.

"Must be nice to have your boss be your grandfather." Floyde smiled, eyes returning to the green girl knowing the grey one was no longer available.

"I don't know you could never fake being sick or call in or anything he could just call their dad." Mitch shrugged. "Not that you girls get sick anyway."

"He'd probably still work us if we were running to the bathroom puking our guts out." Buttercup dead panned, finally sitting in her seat.

"It must suck only having one car for four people" Mitch chuckled, gaining him a glare.

"It's surprisingly not the most frustrating thing in my life."

"Alright Bc I'm gonna give you an offer you can't refuse, you can hang out with us today." Mitch said , acting like he just offered like it wasn't always an option.

"Susie will probably try to convince you to join the soccer team again after practice but it will be fun." Lloyde added offhandedly.

"You know, considering how you worked them when you were on the team, I'm surprised Susie wants you to come back so bad." Floyde shivered, seeming to remember something horrifying.

"It wasn't that bad, we won every game didn't we?" To be completely honest, her time on the soccer team was a sore spot to talk about. She missed it, she missed all the sports she used to be in but those times were gone. Sure sometimes she wished she could just give in when Susie begs her to rejoin but she knew that was impossible.

"Yeah but you did work them like dogs I mean come some of the workouts you threw at them were completely inhuman and you were only in middle school" Floyed cringed as he remembered Susie rambling to Lloyed about one of Buttercup's old 'medium' workouts. He remembers how his brother laughed at his girlfriend trying to assure her it wasn't that hard only to have her take him to the backyard and have him do it. He also remembers how he chuckled at his brother's stupidity and was forced to join.

"Well It's not like I can do that anymore, you know." She grumbled, crossing her arms and sinking into her chair.

"Yeah we know you don't get any free time anymore. Like none at all, you're always working. I'd be annoyed too."

"You really don't know the half of it," she sighed again, becoming more frustrated over her situation.

"Well then you should hang out with us today we're going to the skate park first until practice is over then Floyed's gonna pick up Susie and we're going out for pizza. After that they're going to see a movie so me and Mitch are just gonna play video games back at his place." Lloyd explained.

"Yeah and since Floyed doesn't want to enjoy that life of a bachelor we need a third player anyway." Mitch chuckled while teasing Floyed.

"You're just mad Susie wanted to see alien venom, meaning I get to see it before you." Then Floyed smirked looking over at his brother. "Besides Mitch you're the only one of us playing bachelor by choice."

"Hey, I play bachelor by choice." Buttercup scoffed though it was fun to see the pale Lloyde go red the fact that it was her sister took some fun out of it.

"Butters you are terrifying and would eat any man alive. You could get yourself a top notch gangster and his balls would probably be tucked away in your gym bag."

"Is that where your balls are Susie's gym bag?" Buttercup asked and wasn't the least bit shocked but a little grossed out when Floyde nodded.

Floyde and Susie started dating during freshman year, one of those 'you never thought would happen' kinda relationships. But they worked and adored each other in that gross mushy kind of way. Of course Floyde loved his group, he always incorporated Susie somehow and while she was good at being one of the boys she was still a girl. Buttercup usually had to find ways of getting out of conversations that she didn't feel like hearing.

"Alright yeah sure I wouldn't mind hanging out with you guys tonight." She shrugged it off but she was really looking forward to it. She would have to grab her board but she could get it during study hall.

"Who wants to sneak out with me during study hall so I can get my board?" She asked turning to look at the boys a dangerous move because Mr. Burrow seemed to finally be ready to start class; his big bat ears weren't just for show. She would be completely willing to bet top dollar that if he ever went blind he could pick up on echolocation with little to no problem.

"Cant i gotta help Susie with Mrs. Riddle's class."

"Okay he's out, Mitch?" Buttercup wasn't even going to question why Susie always needed help in an English class.

"We wouldn't even make it out of the parking lot before getting caught. You know that old truck has about the same energy as a cat giving' birth just by cranking the engine." Giving it some thought the green girl couldn't deny that his old beat up chevy did sound like it was begging for death just by putting the key into it.

"What about you Lloyde?"

"I don't really know, Butters can't we get it after school?" He scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Floyde can we have the keys to your" she barely got through her sentence when he cut her off.

"I've seen you drive four words; bat out of hell." So that was a no then sitting back in her chair she sighed.
