Rizuru Village could be seen in the distance. Reine used magic to notify the nearest city to send a message to Rizuru Village that we were going to visit them. No one was allowed to leave the village until we arrived.
This must be the power of the nobles. Reine must be very influential since she could easily give commands like that. We were now hoping that the person we were looking for didn't leave yet.
"I'm sorry about this, Miss Subaru. We have to be as fast as we can so we can meet the "one who commands Reality." I'll make sure that you will have the least number of inconveniences on this trip", Reine told the black-haired girl.
"It's okay. We have to find this person so I can understand the urgency. I'm just glad that I could speak your language now", Oozora-san said.
Cyan Nyan installed something inside of us and our bodies were similar to this world's residents. Reine confirmed it by saying that she could detect mana inside of us.
I remembered the Dump File we faced. If Cyan Nyan didn't arrive in time, I would be dead already. Our existences would accelerate the creation of Dump Files so we had to find the Coder who would help us out.
A thought entered my mind. If Cyan Nyan wasn't the Coder we were looking for, then what could she be doing here? She helped in defeating the Dump File so I could know for sure that her goal for this world wasn't destruction and chaos.
Well... This Server and Mithra's Server will be the first Servers to be connected. Once that's possible, you are free to travel all across Servers, Cyan Nyan's words rang inside my mind.
If I was right, then that meant traveling from one world was the goal of the Administrators. Maybe they made a mistake which resulted in us getting sent to this world. Although it was a huge mistake since it was proven that we could create a dangerous Dump File.
"Lady Reine, we arrived", Mea said as she opened the door.
"Very well. Miss Subaru and Eru, let's go", Reine told us and we stepped out of the carriage.
We were in front of a two-story house. The village's guardsman talked to Mea and pointed her in the direction of the inn. She then drove the carriage towards it and left the three of us there.
"Now then... You are waiting for Trevor, right?" he asked and Reine nodded.
The guardsman knocked on the door and an old man opened it.
"Trevor. You got important guests", the guardsman said.
"I see... This must be the noble who wanted a travel ban on this place", Trevor said.
"I apologize for that but we have a reason why we didn't want anyone leaving this place", Reine told him.
"Rizuru Village is a peaceful one so there normally shouldn't be any problems with a travel ban."
"Normally?"
"We had travelers who came to this place. It was a weird story, actually."
Reine and I looked at each other. It seemed that Cyan Nyan was right. The Coder went to this village and hopefully, they should still be here.
"And I wondered who was the important guest", a familiar voice said behind me.
It couldn't be!
When I turned around, I saw a black-haired boy with violet eyes. I should've known that the person we were looking for was my friend.
"Yo, Eru. Pleasant afternoon, am I right?" he grinned.
###
We were gathered in Trevor's living room. Jun-kun didn't even look surprised when he saw me. He was calmly sipping tea while listening to Reine's story.
"So... There was an oracle who said that you should find me before a disaster happens. Am I getting it right?" he asked.
"Yes", Reine answered.
"The Administrator did say that he would do his best in assisting me from behind the scenes when gathering the people who got sent to this world. I didn't expect him to pull the oracle stuff and have nobles work together."
"So? How many people do we still need to gather?" I asked.
"Hmmm... I already found two people. You are here along with Oozora-san. We just need five more people. At least that's what the list said."
"There's a list?"
"Yeah. The Administrator of our Server did a scan and sent me a list of the people who got sent here. After that, I made the Admin of this Server scan for them and I ended up arriving here and rescuing Koro-san."
"I see. And since there are people who had lesser chances of survival compared to me, you chose them first. Like Inugami-san."
"Y-Yeah. Add to the fact that this Server can only do General Scans, I couldn't possibly prioritize someone else. I just let whoever got discovered first and went to rescue them. Definitely."
"And? What are we going to do when we gather those people?" Reine asked.
"Oh yeah. Eru and Oozora-san, can I edit your codes? I have to make sure that your bodies are not conflicting with any of this Server's codes."
"We already had someone edit it. We are already speaking this world's language, right?" I looked at Oozora-san and she nodded.
"... Let me see your codes", Jun-kun then had a shift in his tone. It was a commanding voice that I never heard him use before.
A violet screen appeared in front of me.
[Allow MOD 1412-5563-4689 edit your codes?
YES NO]
Since Jun-kun was serious, I decided to trust him and pressed yes.
Several violet hologram screens appeared in front of him and his eyes looked at each of them one by one.
"Alright. There isn't anything strange in your codes. I'm going to ask for Oozora-san's codes as well just to be safe. Is that okay with you?" he approached her and a violet screen appeared in front of her.
"Do you really need to ask for permission? Can't you just open my codes using force?" she asked.
"Unfortunately, I don't have the power to tamper with another sentient creature's codes without their permission. I may be the one who commands Reality but I'm still limited in what I can do."
"That's strange. That cyan-haired girl didn't even ask for my permission when she did something to me."
"Oh really? Well, she must've used a different method then!"
For a split second, I thought I saw Jun-kun's eyes turn serious. However, it was replaced by an uncharacteristic goofy look. What could he be hiding?
Jun-kun looked at the violet screens around him for a few minutes. When he was done, he pressed a screen and all of them disappeared.
"There's nothing wrong with you too. That's great", he said.
"Well... What is your relation with the cyan-haired Coder?" Reine asked.
"I don't really know. I'm sure she isn't a Moderator since this Server is quite young and there should be no way that she was the Administrator. How did you meet her?"
"We were fighting a large white creature known as a Dump File."
"A D-Dump File?"
"Yeah. Cyan Nyan said that it was around 1.5 GB. She said that it was most likely formed because of the conflicting codes in the transported people", I said.
"Y-Yeah. That's most likely the case. Your bodies are filled with contradictions. That's why it's my job to make sure it's safe! And with nine people, 1.5 GB isn't that far off!"
My intuition was telling me that Jun-kun was hiding something else. I should confront him about it when the time is right.
"But in that case, 1.5 GB Dump Files must be popping up here and there! We have to alert every town!" Reine began to panic.
"Wha? No no no! It's totally safe now! Four people had their bodies fixed already! So there's no need to worry!"
"Really?"
"Yeah. There must've been other factors as to why that 1.5 GB Dump File was created in the first place. I don't know much about this Server's codes but maybe it was already there and the transported people only contribute a tiny bit."
"Are you sure that's the case?" I asked.
"Y-Yeah. While it's best if we find the remaining five people, there shouldn't be any worries in creating another huge one."
Something was definitely off. What could Jun-kun be hiding? I would want to press him but there must be a good reason why he was hiding it.
"Now that we found you, can you send me back to my world?" Oozora-san asked.
"That's a tough one. Intentionally sending people from one Server to another will cause Bugs. But there's no need to worry about it though. Soon enough, this Server and our Server would become connected. Until the time comes, all we can do is wait around and gather those who were transported."
"Then what about my family? They would be worried sick."
"About that, our Server already deployed NPCs. They should keep things under control while you guys are away."
"NPCs?" Reine asked.
"They are an exact replica of an existing thing in a Server. The Administrator already created the NPCs that looked like the transported people and they are living your lives. So there shouldn't be any problems."
"That's great... I guess", Oozora-san said.
So that meant Botan wasn't looking for me since a doppelganger took my place. It wasn't a comfortable thought but it was better than nothing.
After our discussion was over, Reine thanked Trevor and we were on our way to the inn. A brown-haired girl was waiting at the entrance and she beamed when she saw Jun-kun.
"Jun-kun! Where were you? You said you wanted to talk with Trevor about the travel ban and then you were gone for hours!" she said.
"I just met a few interesting faces", he pointed at us.
"Reika-san? You were sent to this world too?" she asked.
"Yeah. It's a weird story", I replied.
I occasionally went to Inugami-san's bakery since it was a popular one. That was why we were acquainted with each other.
"Oh? Jun's back?" a blue-haired girl walked towards us.
...
"Hey", I looked at Jun-kun.
"Yeah... We'll talk later", he said.
Of course... It was a "We'll talk later." Why didn't he say anything about his favorite idol getting sent to this world too?
