Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: Twilight's Destiny

Chapter 4-Getting Twiggy with It!

With Ash gaining a rivalry with Paul, and Twilight battling Nando, Our heroes made our way to Jublife City, where the annual Pokémon Contest is held until Team Rocket snatched Pikachu and made a run for it!

"Team Rocket! Come back!" Ash demanded.

"That's not your Pikachu!" Dawn shouted.

"Never stopped us before. We're not changing our motives by Twerps!" Duke sneered.

"Right, I like those words: What's mine is mine, and what is yours." Jessie laughed.

"Wooba!" The Patient Pokémon agreed.

"Forget Pikachu and collect stamps." Dana chuckled. Twilight got mad and sent out Elekid and ordered him to use Thunder but the attacked missed!

"Now Starly! I chose you!" Ash called out his flying type. "Cut the ropes that holding Pikachu!" Starly nodded at went straight for the rope.

"Let see if Breloom had different opinion!" Duke calling to his Breloom. Unfortunately, the Grass and Fighting got and bearhugged Duke again!

Jessie, James, Dana, Meowth, and Wobbuffet tried to pry Breloom from Duke only to shake the balloon! Suddenly, one of the balloon mechanical arms went out of control and grabbed Twilight!

"Ahh! Hands off of me!" Twilight yelled as she was pulled away! Starly shrieked and popped the balloon!

"Oh no! Twiliy!" Dawn shrieked. "Cy!" Cyndaquil shrieked as she ran for her trainer!

"Starly!" Ash gasped. Team Rocket, Pikachu and Twilight screamed as the crashed to a lake!

Twilight moaned for bit as she open her eyes and seeing Pikachu trapped in the cage.

"Don't worry! I get you out!" As Twilight tried to open the cage, they both heard the bushes rustle! Twilight braced himself, only to see a Grass-Type Pokémon looking at them.

"Pika!?" Pikachu gasped.

"It's Turtwig!" Twilight gasped as she grabbed her Pokedex and scanned him. "What in the world a Turtwig doing here?" she thought to herself.

The Tiny Leaf Pokémon approached Twilight and helped her releasing Pikachu from the cage! Pikachu felt happy to be free, thanking Twilight and Turtwig.

"You're welcome." Twilight chuckled.

"Turt!" Turtwig replied.

"You're not relieved in duty, Pika Pal!" Jessie shrieked as Team Rocket got out of their Balloon!

"You knucklehead never give up, do you!" Twilight growled.

"When there's a chance to steal Pokémon, nothing will stop us!" James snickered. Just Then Turtwig took a stepped forward and glared at Team Rocket! "Turtwig! Turtwig! Wig!" It growled then a small brown-looking Pokémon came of the bushes! The Grass-Type seemed relieved to see its friend!

"No way! That's an Eevee!" Twilight gasped.

"What are the odds that the rarest of all Pokémon would be here!" Dana said while in shock.

"Who knows? But I do know this Breloom Grab Pikachu along with other two!" Duke yelled. Breloom dashed forward to attack! It used Bullet Seed!

"Crap! Out of the way!" Twilight yelled pushing Pikachu out of way, while Eevee and Turtwig dodged, then charged at Team Rocket!

"Bad move, Duke! Waking an Turtwig and Eevee up from their sleep is asking for trouble!" Meowth gulped. The small Pokémon bashed Breloom, sending it to Team Rocket!

"Talk about an early exit." Jessie sighed.

"Hardly worth punches to my stomach!" Duke complained.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket scream as they disappeared out of sight!

"Well, that care of them!" Twilight sighed.

"Pikachu! Twilight!" Ash called. Twilight and the Pokémon looked other way and saw Ash, Dawn, and Brock, and Twilight Pokémon coming toward them.

"Well speak of the devil, about time you show up!?" Twilight joked.

Then Eevee and Turtwig made their battle stance!

"Pretty rare for a wild Turtwig and Eevee at the same time! "Brock stated

"This my chance! Piplup, use Peck!" Dawn called.

As the water Pokémon was sent out, it charged at them.

"Dawn!? Now is not a good time!" Twilight called. Cyndaquil and Elekid made a run for their trainer but stopped by Eevee, who glared at them!

"Eevee what are you doing!?" Twilight gasped. Turtwig used Razor Leaf to counter Piplup's Peck. "Quick! Dodge It!" Dawn shouted. Pipulp rolled around to dodge the attack. But the attack struck an Oddish! It sway while using Sleep Powder.

"Oh no! Guys look out!" Ash gasped as he ran for his friends. Twilight's Pokémon tried to save her but too late as the Sleep Powder had hit all of them except for Dawn, Brock, Turtwig and Eevee had been knocked out cold!

"What happened to them!?" Dawn gasped.

"They full dose of Oddish's Sleep Powder!" Brock explained. As the five were asleep Eevee and Turtwig went over and carried Twilight and Pikachu on their back! Twilight was carried by both of them. The two made their escape!

"Hey wait!" Brock called.

"Turtwig! Eevee!" Dawn cried. They both made a run for it but were stopped by old lady! "Mercy me! Children!" the lady called. Dawn and Brock stopped as two small carried off with unconscious Twilight and Pikachu!

Moments Later…

"You have nothing to fear. Turtwig and Eevee are good Pokémon. I'm sure that your friend Twilight and your friend Pikachu are fine!" Clara assured.

"I don't get it. Do know those two?" Dawn asked.

"Yes! Turtwig, Eevee and I are old friends." Clara answer.

Meanwhile with Twilight and Pikachu

Both Turtwig and Eevee took them a nearby orange tree where Eevee gave Twilight and an orange while waking her up with Tail Whip! "Huh? Oh, thanks Eevee." Twilight replied, accepting the orange. Turtwig used tackle on the tree to give Pikachu one, too! Pikachu and Twilight look at each other before munching on the orange that was given to them! They then heard battling sounds as a Mankey and Geodude were fighting over a berry! Eevee used Attract! As the two were hit, Turtwig used Tackle on the wild Pokémon!

After the fight, Both Mankey and Geodude were about to fight again until Eevee scolded at the two! Surprising Pikachu and Twilight.

"Whoa, I got to admit that those two were serious and helpful in these issues!" Twilight thought to herself.

Turtwig founded some berries and gave them to Mankey and Geodude. The two were grateful and left! Then Eevee and Turtwig fell asleep. Eevee slept in Twilight's lap making her blush. "Pika Pika?" Pikachu asked.

"Don't worry. These two were just exhausted from the hard work that they did snice they met us." Twilight chuckled.

Ash and others met up with them and managed to clear things up with Turtwig and Eevee. Just before they were about to leave , Pokémon named Linoone was badly injured coming out of the bushes. The four trainers and the five Pokémon took the injured Linoone to Clara's house to treat it. As soon they treated it, Linoone left feeling much better. Just then, two machine arms grabbed Turtwig and Pikachu!

"Turtwig! Pikachu!" Ash called. Just then something came from the surface of the water! It was machine that look like a Magikarp! The hatch revealing five familiar faces!

"Listen! Is that a voice I hear?"

"It speaking to me loud and clear!"

"On the wind!"

"Past the stars!"

"In your ear!

"Bringing chaos at a breakneck place!"

"Dashing hope putting fear at its place!

"A rose by any other name is just as sweet!"

"When everything's worse our work is complete!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Dana!"

"Duke!"

"Meowth! That's the name!"

"Putting the do-gooders in their place!

"Team Rocket, In your Face!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Mime mime mime!"

"Murkrow!"

"Team Rocket!?" Ash, Dawn, and Twilight gasped.

"Say, that's some catch. Fresh as it is!" Duke joked.

"Come on! Why don't you give it up!" Dawn yelled.

"We don't give up, twerpette dear." Dana sighed.

"We score two prize Pokémon so au revoir!" Meowth snickered as their sub took a dive. Both Ash and Twilight dived straight in while Pipulp and Eevee followed.

Twilight and Ash both swam fast managing to catch up!

"Got it!" Ash sputtered. Twilight grabbed onto the glass, with Ash, Eevee and Pipulp only the sub was dragging them down! Turtwig used Tackle, and Pikachu used Iron Tail trying to break the glass. Then Ash got an idea!

"That's it! Use Thunderbolt!" He yelled underwater.

"Wait, WHAT!? NO! Water and Electricity don't-" Twilight yelled, but it was too late as Pikachu shocked everyone with Thunderbolt that blasted toward the air and landed in the grass. Pikachu, Piplup and Turtwig fell on Ash, while Eevee fell on Twilight. Dawn, Brock, and Clara came over. Elekid and Cyndaquil also came relived to see that Twilight is okay!

Everyone was okay then grew surprised on Turtwig using Synthesis, but Team Rocket came out of the sub sent out Seviper and Carnivine! And Carnivine bit James again!"

"Use, Poison Tail!

"Bite!"

Pokémon made their move! Eevee lashed Carnivine away with Iron Tail, while Turtwig bashed Seviper with Tackle!

"No way!" Jessie and James gasped.

"Oh, yes way!" Twilight grinned. The enemy Pokémon got and attack again.

"Okay, here they come! Pikachu use Volt Tackle! Ash yelled.

"Cyndaquil and Elapid! Quick Attack and Thunder Punch!" Twilight yelled.

The two Pokémon nodded as they aided Pikachu. It exploded on Team Rocket, causing them to fly out of here!

"What part of we weren't going to lose couple of Twerps did not get?" Dana shrieked at Jessie.

"Please it was Duke fault if Breloom hadn't crash our balloon!" Passing the blame to Duke.

"Say that to my fist, Drama Queen!" Duke screamed.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket screamed as they disapperd out of sight.

"Alright! We did it" Ash cried out with victory.

Turtwig turned around and bit into Ash's cap again! While Eevee nuzzled over Twilight's leg. They said goodbyes to Clara and made their way until… both Eevee and Turtwig seem disheartened by the farewell.

"I understand You two wanted leave with them don't you!" Clara asked, while chuckling.

The Pokémon nodded as they to stop the four trainers for a moment.

"Turtwig?" Ash asked.

"Eevee?" Twilight asked.

Both wanted to come along but by a battle.

"Well, they come along if we can beat in battle. So, Ash you're thinking what I'm thinking?" Twilight asked him.

"I am! Let's go Pikachu!" Ash calling on his Partner as they were up first battling Turtwig.

Turtwig started by using Tackle! Pikachu easily intercepted the attack with Quick Attack! Then Turtwig use Razor Leaf! "Dodge it!" Ash called. Pikachu escaped the Grass Type Move, only to hit by Tackle!

"Holy Moly! What a combo!" Twilight gasped. "Using Razor Leaf to ambush then dealing close damage with Tackle."

Just as Pikachu got up, Turtwig made another attack by using Bite on it's tail! Pikachu was struggling as Turtwig refused to let go!

(If this keeps up, Pikachu is going wiped out unless… That's it!) Ash thought then had an idea! "Pikachu throw into the tree which he did causing Turtwig to feel the recoil. Seeing his chance, he grab a Pokeball and throw at Turtwig! It rattled for a bit then stopped completely!

"Alright! I caught an Turtwig!" Ash cheered.

Meanwhile Twilight and Cyndaquil were battling Eevee unlike Ash were not under pressure.

"Now Cyndaquil, use Quick Attack!" Twilight yelled. The Quick attack smashed Eevee into the ground as slumped in defeat. "It's now or nothing! Go, Pokeball!" she called as Eevee was caught and ball stopped as Twilight got her third Pokémon!"

Both of them promised that they looked after Eevee and Turtwig and left with Dawn and Brock. Soon Jublife Pokémon Contest will come very soon...
