Chapter 1: The meetings of fate

The Guild:

Bell P.O.V:

After getting out of the guild, I picked up the magic stones and headed to the Guild to exchange them.

I reached Rose.

"Hi there, Bell. "Rose said with a smile on her face.

I replied with a smile of my own.

"Hello, Rose. I'm here to exchange my magic stones." She was a little surprised by my reply or maybe saying her name without "San".

"Okay." She replied with a little frustration.

After a few minutes, she gave me a little bag.

"Here, 1000 valis. "She gave me the valis and I took it right away and said.

"Thanks, Rose. "I said that with a smile and then I left the guild.

While I was walking I thought.

'Maybe I should've asked her about Aiz but then again seem to hate adventurer, also I think I should know about Aiz myself but the question is am attracted to her because of her spirit blood. Well, I will worry about that later.'

The church:

After walking for some time, I reached the church and I prepared myself for the headache because of my goddess's childish behavior.

"Kami-Sama, I'm here to update my status. "I said that with a smile and then a raven-haired girl with big breasts jumped at me.

"You're here Bell-Kun. "I evaded her and she fell on her face, then I screamed.

"How many times have I told you to not do this, Kami-Sama?"

"You're so mean, Bell-Kun. Why are replying to my act of love like this?" She said with an annoyed voice.

"I told you why many times. Your actions are a crazy brand of love. Your love seems to be an obsession rather than love so drop it and update my status so I can go to my house and don't even think about asking about coming with me again. Until we have more members the answers will be no. "I said that as I removed my shirt and set on a chair.

"Am I just a status updater for you? "She said that while dropping her blood on my back.

"Do you really want to know the answer? "She didn't respond to my question. Then, I decided to make sure she wouldn't even try to hide things from me or do things behind my back.

"Remember what I told you. Don't try to hide my status. If you don't understand the effect you tell me so I can try to figure it out also always lock my status. Also, don't try to ask your best friend for a weapon for me."

"Fine, you don't have to tell me that every time I update your status." She said with an angry voice.

'Actually, I do. My mother always told me to never put any more than 5 out 1000 trust in the gods. Well, it's not I going to tell anyone that my stepmother is Alfia or that my birth mother is her twin sister.' I thought as I felt my goddess trembling.

"What is it now? "I asked while compressing my worry about her.

She didn't respond and she finished updating my status and copying my status on a paper and handing it to me and leaving with an empty expression.

'Still, why am I even reading my status on a paper while I can read directly on my back?' I was thinking that until I looked at my staus and got the shock of my life.

Skills

Spirit Demon: Fast growth as long as feelings last. The strength of the effects corresponds with the level of the user's feelings to people with spirit blood or soul. As a side effect, it makes the user and people who have spirit blood or soul that are close to him are immune to charms. Also, those with spirit blood and the user gain status depending on their mutual feeling.

Spirit: The user is able to use the magic of a spirit, spirit blood, or soul as long they know the chant and the name.

Argonaut: Charges automatically with an active action.

Meteria: Increase the effect of the user's fire magic and reduce the amount of mind needed to be consumed. Also, the effect of fire on the user weaken by the magic status of the user.

I looked at my status with a terrified expression. I was so absorbed that I remained there for about half an hour.

'Well, better get home and think what am I going to do and how to deal with these new abilities.'

I left the church and walked without any care of what's around me. Something hit me and almost fell into but I was able to hold myself and I heard "Ahh." When I looked, I found out that I bumped into an elf with long golden yellow hair, round dark blue eyes who seem to be about the same age as me. Then, I gave her my hand to help her stand up.

"Sorry for bumping into you Miss. I was lost in thought." I said that forgetting that elves don't like being touched by others but to my surprise, she took my hand.

"Don't worry about it. I was at fault for running without looking." She said that with a smile.

"My name is Bell Cranel. A pleasure to meet you. "I said that hoping at least to keep the conversation as long as possible without knowing why.

"My name is Lefiya Viridis. A pleasure to meet you, Bell-San. "Lefiya replied with a very prideful voice.

"Can you please not call my name with '-San'. I'm not a fan of such formalities." I asked Lefiya so we can become friends.

"Okay, Bell. Then you have to call me Lefiya."

Bell's house:

I got in my house that is located in the north of Daedalus street.

The house was big but not enough to draw any unnecessary attention.

I quickly made my way to my bed to sleep because my brain can't take anymore.

'I've met two adventurers, one with spirit blood and the other one with spirit magic, all in one day and I think I have a feeling for both." Then my smile turned upside down." Mother won't be happy about this. She might think that perverted old man affected me." Then I remembered what she told me when we talked about relationships and marriage.

"Whoever wants to be with you has to face my trials first and then prove that she is good enough for you by defeating ME."

When I remembered what she said to me I shivered from the fear that will be brought into whoever I bring to her.

'First, I'll sleep for 3 hours then go around and make sure that no one knows about my family yet. Second, my guild armor will be limiting me from now on so I'll use the armor that I bought the day I got here and go to Lenoa to ask if my sword is ready or not.'

Witch's Secret House:

After sleeping, I went to see Lenoa about the blade I made Fels make.

'I know that it's wrong not to tell him what's the material for that sword but...it would be better that no one know the answer, not that anyone would believe it anyway." I thought as I reached Lenoa's shop.

When I entered the shop, I was surprised by a familiar human and elf talking to a very old witch and in a moment they looked in my direction at the same time and simultaneity said.

"What are you doing here, Bell?" When they said that they looked at each other with a surprised look then they looked at me with a curious look.

"Hi there, Aiz, Lefiya. It's good to see you. "I said that trying to remove the tension that it's about to build.

"Good to see you again, Bell even if we met a few hours ago. "Lefiya said that with a smile on her face.

"Good to see you again, Bell. "Aiz said with a little smile.

"So, what are you doing here? "I asked Lefiya and Aiz.

"I'm here to replace the magic crystal in my staff and Aiz-San is just tag in along. "Lefiya said that with a smile and then Aiz asked me.

"So, what are you doing here?"

'I can't tell them about my sword, so what should I do.' I thought as I remembered that was here to sell her the grimoire since I don't need it anymore and I might need money in the future.

"Well, I'm here to sell this. "I said that as I brought the grimoire out of my bag and when I did Lefiya and Aiz were surprised that I have a grimoire

"Wow kid, you something else. Where did you find this anyways? "Lenoa asked me while the other two were looking waiting for an answer.

"Well, I didn't steal it if you're asking that. " I answered her with an angry expression to shut her up.

"Don't worry kid. I know you're a good person who wouldn't steal anything from anyone...except for maidens' hearts. "I noticed that when She said that the two behind me blushed a little at what she said but I was covering them which prevented her from noticing that.

"What do you...actually, know what, I don't care. Just measure this thing's worth and send it to my guild account so I can go home. "I said that with a smile and a look that says ' If you don't shut up they will never find the body ' which made her shiver knowing what that kind of look mean.

"Fine, this a fine grimoire, you sure you want to sell it. This could give you very powerful magic. "Lenoa said trying to get more information about me.

"Well, I need the money more than magic so I'll sell it. " I said that with a smile.

'Well, I know that this old witch can tell if I lie so I won't tell a lie but I won't tell the whole truth.'

"If that what you wish. So, this grimoire is worth...250 million. "Lenoa said that with a little hesitant in her voice that contained a little fear and I noticed that Aiz and Lefiya were afraid of the amount of money I just got.

"But kid, seriously how do you get stuff like this anyways? " She asked me trying to act that she isn't afraid.

"I told you already. It's just luck and helping others. "I replied to lighten the mood a little, and that made the girls smile a little.

But I got to leave now.

"Since we're done here, can I leave? "I asked politely.

"Do what you want, kid. "Leona

"Thank you, happy to do business with you again. "I said while bowing my head a little, then I left the shop.

After leaving the shop, I waited for a few minutes until I noticed that the elf and the human exit the shop with the elf holding a staff.

"Hi, that didn't take much time. "I said that with a little smile when they reached me.

"Hello, again Bell. "Both girls said in unison, and I replied.

"So can we talk again at this bar Aiz told me about tomorrow?"

"Okay. Goodbye, see you..." Lefiya was about to say until a caramel hand came to her shoulder and was about to catch it but I reacted the hand right away and pushed the person with his face on the ground while holding the right hand with my left hand and the left one with my foot and using all the strength of my body to pin the person down and I had my right hand holding a sharp knife on her neck that I was keeping in sleeve just in case I got attacked.

When I took a better look, I noticed the attacker was an Amazon by the color of the skin who has a flat chest and short hair and I noticed that she has a spirit soul fragment in her.

"You know it isn't nice to attack someone from the back like that. "I said that while making sure that she can't use her strength to escape me.

"Attack, what are you talking about? I would never attack Lefiya. She is my friend. "The nameless Amazon said that while trying to escape from me, then I heard Lefiya's voice.

"It's okay, Bell, can you get off Tiona-San?"

"Okay then. "I said that as I was about to get off her when a punch came to my face but I was able to catch her hand in the last second and put the attacker on Tiona and the attacker was an Amazon who looked a lot like Tiona but with a bigger chest and longer hair.

"Can you calm down? I was about to get off her. "I said that then I jumped off them.

"Tione-San, let us explain what happen. "Lefiya said that then the other girls explain what happened.

"Sorry for attacking you without knowing what is happening. "Tione apologized with a bow.

"It's okay. I mean I was pining your sister on the ground with a knife on her neck. "I said that as I remembered that I have to leave right now to make myself diner and sleep to come back for the sword first thing in the morning.

"Sorry, I have to leave right now. See you tomorrow night. "I apologized by a little bow and was about to leave until I heard a voice.

"Wait, what is your name? "Tiona said with a lot of excitement in her voice and her twin hit her head with her right hand and said.

"Quit, stupid, we could've asked Aiz and Lefiya about that later."

"My name is Bell Cranel. A pleasure to meet you and goodbye. "I said that with a smile then left immediately while waving my hand at them.

Bell's house:

I was in my bed after eating a diner made of fish and strawberries.

"I've met in one day three people who one has spirit blood, magic and soul fragment. Also, gaining this many skills, magic, and surprisingly development abilities in one day but we'll think about it tomorrow. Won't we, Meteria? "I said that as a white light particle come out of my body and join together to form a female body with a face that looks like mine with the same white hair and two blue eyes.

Then, the female spoke.

"We will, but now sleep well Bell. "She said that as she returned into being just particles of light and back into my body.

"You're right. I'll sleep well."

First, I will explain later in the story about spirit magic and soul fragment.

Alfia and Zald didn't attack Orario but the Evilus still caused a lot of damage.

Chloe and Lunoire joined Ryuu's Familia after being an assassin and a bounty hunter.

The three of them went on a rampage after surviving the juggernaut while no one else did even the one who unleashed it accidentally.

Bell's goddess is Hestia but he didn't bother even learning the name.
