Chapter 10:

The gods were silent. The human audience broke the silence with boos. Even when he earned the point for them, Mineta was still booed. As he got up after paying his respect to the fallen god of light. The boos of humanity didn't matter to him anymore. He only focused on the cheers of his friends. When he entered his entrance tunnel, he was greeted by Baldr's wife, Nanna. Her face was unreadable.

Mineta closed his eyes, expecting her to kill him. She didn't. Instead, the goddess hugged him. He could feel her tears dripping down his shoulder. He cried as well. "I'm so sorry."

She finally let go and wiped his tears from his face. Her face was mixed with happiness and sadness, but no signs of anger. She wiped her own tears after. Using her powers, she healed Mineta's wounds.

"I've never seen him so happy before. Don't falter, child. He died with a smile." When she finished her healing, Nanna walked away to leave Mineta to his own thoughts. Seeing no reason to go back to the waiting room, he started finding his way to his friends' seats in the arena.

Zeus was not pleased. Neither was Odin. They were expecting an easy win with Baldr's invincibility. They never expected Mineta to find Baldr's weakness. The Primordial Void's avatar suddenly appeared in front of Odin and began lifting and choking the god with little effort.

"I'll give you one chance, Odin. That includes your ass as well, Zeus. Tell Skuld to stop writing the future of the fights and bugger off." The Void's avatar then disappeared again, leaving the fear in Odin's heart as the god held his neck. He quickly hurried to find Skuld and tell her the whole future manipulation was off. Zeus stayed behind, trying to figure out who to send next after Baldr.

"My lord!" Bellona rushed to his side and knelt down. "She's making her move. She volunteered herself to fight next."

"Who?"

Bellona told him who the next fighter was. Zeus sighed, exasperated by the goddess' spirit. She reminds him of his younger self, but her recklessness would get her killed.

"Shall I stop her?"

"No." Zeus answered Bellona. "I'll allow it, so long as she wins. Otherwise, Lugh will get the short end of these hands for allowing his subordinates to do as they wish."

The Void was satisfied with Mineta's win. They teleported the boy to his friends, letting him watch the rest of the matches. They checked his phone, seeing which god will be sent next. There was no real counter for the next god to fight. This could be a win-win situation for The Void. They looked and pointed at Mary Sue Bakugou.

"You're fighting for this match."

"Finally! I've been waiting for ages, you shit." Mary Sue Bakugou stood up and stretched. The girl fighters unnaturally swooned against their will, as if his presence were enough to make them do so. The guys, however, did a thumbs up against their will. It's as if an invisible force were forcing them to like this version of Bakugou. "Watch and learn, assholes! You're about to see the shortest match in the universe!"

"Good luck, babe! Wait… what? I didn't- huh?!" Camie was confused about why those words came out of her mouth. She could've sworn she didn't like this version of Bakugou. There was something off about him. When he left the room, The Void spoke.

"That's the effect of his Mary Sue-ness. Trust me, no one in his universe found out about it. That ability alone made him my strongest fighter here. He'll simply win by having the aura of a Mary Sue." Of course, only The Void was unaffected by Mary Sue Bakugou's aura. "It's better I told him about the multiverse before he finds out about it himself. The disgusting piece of shit would cause more trouble if left to his own devices. If he wins, I'll erase him after. If he dies, good."

"So you only let him in the roster to get him killed?" Endeavour asked The Void. The Bakugou he knew differed from the Bakugou he met for this tournament. Mary Sue Bakugou was, admittedly, a bigger piece of shit than Original Bakugou. The fiery hero also noticed that this aura only activates when Bakugou subconsciously wants it to.

"It's not like he'll be killed."

"We'll have to see."

"Well, that was a rather interesting third match, isn't it? Anyway, congratulations humanity, the gods are now taking you seriously." Hermes began talking again after a brief break. Demeter's forest was finally taken away by the goddess after she finally healed from her wound, reverting the arena back to what it originally was. "Well, who's ready for Match four?! I know I am!"

The door to humanity's side opened, revealing a parade of scantily clad characters. The horny weebs were instantly excited, recognizing who the characters were. Everyone else noticed something different, something unsettling. The ones on the parade seem to move unnaturally. It's as if they're puppets, being forced to move. Their movements were rigid and yet they moved as flexibly as they naturally could be. There was a contradiction with their movements.

"Why am I wearing that?" A version of Momo Yaoyorozu along with the other girls were horrified to see a version of themselves wear such things.

"Why me too?!" Kirishima said as well. Not even the boys were safe from such an embarrassing thing. The weebs noticed that there was one character missing. That only leads to one conclusion.

Out came a float with the next fighter standing on it. The float can only be described as crude, generic, and rather flat. Humans and gods alike cheered when they didn't really want to.

"AND THE NEXT FIGHTER REPRESENTING HUMANITY!" Hermes was also oddly more hyped than usually. Though only he knew the reason. "This man is a different version of the Bakugou you knew! One can even say he is the pinnacle of all the Bakugous! This fighter reached the peak! His aura causes everyone to like him! His spirit redeemed all the villains of his world! He surpassed even the holders of One For All! He is from the universe from which he is the strongest on Earth! HE! IS!"

Bakugou jumped off the float while smugly smiling. "This match is gonna be easy."

"KATSUKI BAKUGOU!"

Gods and humans continue to cheer, even when they didn't really want to. They watched the fighter bask in his unearned glory. Something about his face told everyone that he believed he already won.

"This is embarrassing." Botany Club Bakugou in the audience hid his face from the crowd while being consoled by his friends. "If this is my peak, it's shit."

"That's not you, Katsuki. We won't look at you any different." Ibara consoled her husband. The version of Izuku that belonged to the same universe as Mary Sue Bakugou walked up to them and handed them a note. Mineta read it out loud.

Help me.

The entire Botany Club looked at the smiling Izuku, who was on the verge of tears.

"Holy shit." Botany Club Awase said, thankful he wasn't born in that universe.

"SEVEN MINUTES!" The Mary Sue Bakugou raised his fingers. "I'll end this fight in seven minutes!"

The door on the god's side of the arena opened and a sleuth of bears stampede outside. They were followed by a goddess who wore a bear cloak on her head. Her red hair was slightly visible while her war paint of blue and white covered her face. She wore a tank top that brought attention to her muscles. Over her tank top, she wore the tartan sash. Tattoos of runes covered her arm while she wore gauntlets the shape of a bear's claw. She wore a tartan skirt that reached just on top of her knees. To complete the entire outfit, she wore ghillie boots that reached below her knees.

Every step she took gave an intense feeling that nobody could describe correctly. Her slight grin clues everyone of her excitement to fight in the tournament and prove herself worthy of her title. She raised one hand and all the bears in the arena bowed their heads to her. The bright sky became night as the constellation of Ursa Major appears, shining down on her.

"And fighting for the side of the gods, well, many people don't know her. Not even gods would recognize her easily, but feast your eyes on the unknown student of Lugh! She was born on what would today be modern Scotland, inheriting the ferociousness of the country. She later migrated with the Gauls and became respected!" Hermes announced, as the gods and humans alike tried to figure out who she was. "She had no altar, for she has no need for worship! She has no throne for only ruling would hinder her strength! The goddess before you has no enemies, for she already killed them with ease! The Loch Ness Monster was only a myth because she already claimed its head for a successful hunt! She is the Bear Goddess!"

She removed her bear cloak, unveiling the curly red hair reaching to her lower back. The Bear Goddess pointed at her old mentor, silently telling him to watch her. Lugh nodded in approval of his student.

"ARTIO!"

Gabriel flew down and asked both fighters if they were ready. Artio and Bakugou nodded. The angel blew the horn to start the match.

"Just another conquest, huh? Why don't you just go down and suck on it, would ya?" Bakugou pointed at his crotch. It worked last time on Himiko Toga, and now he expects it to work on the goddess. He was Bakugou, after all. To his surprise, Artio shook her head. He was enraged. "What the fuck is wrong with you? I'm giving you a chance to surrender here."

Artio rolled her eyes, unaffected by his aura, unlike most of the crowd. "You're a pathetic wanker, aren't ya?"

"THE FUCK DID YOU SAY TO ME YOU LITTLE SLUT?!" Bakugou used his explosions to blast himself towards his opponent. Artio wasn't moving and Bakugou was more than willing to put the goddess in her place. "DIE!"

Artio stopped the attack with her hand and slammed Bakugou into the ground. He wasn't hurt, but he was shocked that his attack was blocked. She stepped on his chest while grinning. "You're the pinnacle version of you? All right, then. Seven minutes it is!"

With a scream of defiance, Bakugou used his explosion to knock the goddess off him.

"IN MY UNIVERSE, THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND ME AND ONLY ME! YOU WANNA KNOW WHY?!" Bakugou asked the Bear Goddess while she was standing up. "BECAUSE I'M THE FUCKING BEST!"

{- To Be Continued...

Match four finally starts. Who shall win this one?
