A/N: This chapter will be on Mario reflecting on his past action of what he did to Syura. Now this is character development right here. Now then, onto the chapter.

Extra Eleven: Keeping In Check

Chapter Synopsis: After talking to Melony and Meggy, Tatsumi is about to leave to go back to his homeworld. But before that, he just wants to talk with Mario.

Tatsumi made his way to the location where he opened the vortex to go back to his world. From what he could tell, he only wasted about two hours in his world, which was exactly just four hours in this world. Despite being just a short visit before he even made the promise of coming back to this world after the Revolution, he admits that he was breaking that promise as well but it was for the sake of comforting the Watermelon girl's loss by the request of Mario. He looked up to the sky and had his thought before he opened the vortex, "Melony. Meggy. I hope you do well in your life goals."

Just before he could even do that, the assassin saw Mario walking up to him. Naturally, he was confused that Mario would be here as he should be going home. "Mario?"

The idiotic plumber just smiled sadly at him, "Hey Tatsumi."

"What are you doing here?" The assassin asked as he looked at his idiotic friend.

Mario kept staring at him before answering, "Well, the reason I came here, Tatsumi, is that I want to talk about what I did to Syura."

Now, this caught the assassin's attention as he made a concerned look on his face as he raised an eyebrow at him, "Is it what you did to him?" He still clearly remembered what Mario him did, which was quite brutal but was lucky that his head was still intact due to this world being light-hearted according to what he had heard from Bob.

Mario nodded at him and then he said, "Well, I know what I did to Syu boi was barbaric, but the thing is Tatsumi, I...actually felt awful doing that act."

The assassin was surprised to hear that coming from the Italian's mouth. All he could do was to make a sympathetic smile. "Mario, I completely understand that what you did to Syura was something that some people could never agree on, but you did what you felt was the right thing to do."

This surprised the Italian as he heard how calm the assassin was with regards to that topic and he heard the assassin say. "I am glad that you are talking to me about that subject because you need to have limits." he let out a sigh and looked at his idiotic friend in a calm and empathetic expression on his face, "Now, I, and my friends, are assassins. We take jobs and do the mission, but we have to take care of our health as well. In body, emotion, and mind. If we don't keep ourselves in check, we could end up being the worst version of yourself and in some cases, we could end up like monsters."

Mario knew how hurtful those words were to hear as he reflected on his past actions. He knew that he was becoming a bit brutal when it comes to protecting his friends. All he could do was smile at Tatsumi, "Thank you for saying it, Tatsumi. I'll try my best to keep myself in check, in the body, mind, and emotion. If I can't do that, I need my friends to keep me in check or otherwise I would end up like Syu boi, who has an attitude like a little child that has anger issues like a toddler, "He laughed a little at that insult.

Tatsumi and Mario continued to stare at each other until the assassin soon looked away from him. But before he could even leave, he has one thing to say, "Mario..." his idiotic friend looked at him, who looked away from him, "I want to say is please, talk to your friends about that topic. You cannot bottle it up to yourself, otherwise, you are going to go down to a dark path." That was a good note for Mario to hear as he, going off character, soon wrote it down on a notebook and was thinking about talking too with Tari, who could sympathise with him for that action.

With that said, Mario saw Tatsumi pulling out the box device and soon created a red vortex. Without wasting any more time, he then walked through it and hoped that his friends weren't that pissed since he visited their world for just an important reason.

As soon as the assassin left, Mario felt very better after talking to Tatsumi about his past brutal action. Normally, he didn't care about it, but ever since both SMG4 and Tari scolded him for that action, he began to reflect on that action. He wondered what he will do to Esdeath when she heard that Axol died and called him weak, "Essimp, you are going to have one beating of a lifetime when you diss Axol's death. But unlike Syu boi, you will have a different kind of beatdown which isn't going to be very violent."
