The tornado ended a few minutes ago, and dead sharks were littered everywhere.

Caroline suddenly gasped. Emily slammed on the breaks, making them fly forward.

"What's wrong?" Miranda and Emily asked, at the same time.

"Patricia!" The girl said. Emily turned the car around.

"We'll get her, don't worry." Emily floored it over to the town house. After about an hour, they arrived at the ridiculously big house. Her and Miranda got out of the car.

Miranda noticed the dried dirt, on Emily, going up to her waist, from the water. Miranda wanted to be mad that Emily was sitting in her very expensive car. But at this point she couldn't find it in herself to care.

She knew Emily didn't have to save their asses, but she was anyway. That just made Miranda like Emily even more. She always knew there was something more to the brit.

Miranda unlocked the door, it was taking her a minute to accept that the water was over waist deep. She didn't want to let all the water in the house, they already let a ton of water in the car.

She couldn't get the door to budge. Emily took over. Emily was struggling to get it open. Even after bootcamp she worked out just as hard. She made sure she could still do 50 pushups in one minute. Same with everything else.

She got it open enough to get Patricia out. The door was already heavy enough, and with all the water pushing up against it, made it weigh a lot more. Water spilled into the house, and Emily felt bad.

"Patricia!" Miranda called. The dog ran toward the stairs. "Come here," Miranda said. The dog seemed unsure and sat down at the top of the steps, and whined. Emily groaned, she didn't know how much longer she could hold the door. "Come on girl! Come on!" Miranda coaxed.

The dog looked at Emily, who was struggling keeping the door open. The dog barked, at a dead shark that swam in the house.

"Oh, shit," Emily said, "Okay, Miranda. There are sharks in the water, you need to get in there and grab the dog." She slid in and got Patricia out. Once they were out Emily let go of it, and it slammed shut.

Emily picked up the dog, which was struggling to keep above water. The dog did not like it. The person was crazy. She looked at the woman, and sniffed her face.

She decided the woman smelled good, and had to find out what it was. She licked her face. But couldn't find it. The woman pulled her face away, and put her in the car. She saw Caroline and Cassidy, and she had to give them kisses. She decided that she didn't like the water, and shook off. Everybody in the back seats groaned.

After a few hours of searching for a store that hadn't been ripped apart, or smashed by sharks. Emily found an abandoned gas station. They were running on empty. Somehow the gas pump was still up and running.

Emily made her way inside to get food, and water. She got three cases of water, a few lighters, some beer, cigarettes, and a bunch of food. Her and Andy came back, they put it all in the trunk, that was accessible in the very back of the car. (7 seat)

She went over to a camping store, she also got rope, a cooler, and put ice in it. And got a few hunting knives, a rifle and pistol.

"Ok, we're good." Emily said,

"Are we done stealing?" Miranda said

"A quarter of New York is dead, half are evacuating, Miranda. No one cares."

"Why aren't we evacuating?" Miranda asked

"We got a warning, that said there are tornadoes all across America. What good is evacuating going to do?"

"Are we going to die?" Cassidy asked, Caroline sharing the same expression.

"No," Emily replied. Miranda hugged her daughters tightly.

"Everything is going to be okay," Miranda said. Andy gave them an encouraging smile.

The brunette looked at her girlfriend, she had never seen the redhead so focused.

She marveled at how her girlfriend looked. She was looking forward to being held in her arms. But that wasn't going to happen. She wanted to make Emily happy. She knew the brit was angry at herself, she wasn't who she wanted to be. Andy wanted to help her. She did get her a sodalite crystal had a deep blue gemstone in it. Emily didn't realise it had A&E carved out on the silver ring that held the crystal.

Emily was discharged right before she was going to be able to go, because she hit her head. In a specific spot, and caused brain damage, and discharged her when she was 21.

When Andy told Emily she was worried about her drinking, a few months into their relationship, Emily told her about the army training. She told her after she was discharged she started drinking way too much, becoming an alcoholic, which led up until now.

Emily can't go an hour without a drink. She looked at Emily who was visibly shaking from withdrawal. She looked almost homicidal. When Nigel opened a can of beer.

She had the 'don't even breathe in my direction' look. Andy felt bad for her girlfriend, she was also really proud at the self control and restraint Emily was showing. .

"Pull over," Andy told her.

"What do you need?" Emily was trying not to snap, but it wasn't working in the slightest.

"I'll drive for a while,"

Emily quickly popped the trunk and grabbed a beer, before going to the passenger seat.

Emily wasted no time to open the can, and chug it. Miranda stared at her, and Nigel and Serena just kept drinking theirs.

Emily looked at Andy, who had a face expression that Emily couldn't read.

"I'm trying Andy," Emily said, defensively.

"I know you are," She smiled at her, and put her hand on Emily's leg.

After a while Emily took the wheel again. Andy knew Emily preferred to drive. After a few minutes of driving a tornado started forming.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Emily said, and threw the car in reverse.

"What's going on?" Miranda asked

"Oh son of a bitch!" Andy screamed. They all watched the tornado form. Emily was driving as fast as she could in reverse. Until they ran into a pole.

"Fuck!" Emily yelled. She threw the car around, the twins looked at their mother, then at Patricia who was barking.

Cassidy tried to get the dog to calm down. Emily started losing control of the car, it was swerving like crazy. Then there was a loud thud in the car. They looked up, and the car roof was dented inward.

Patricia changed her position, and started barking at the roof. Emily looked at the rearview mirror, and saw a shark tail dangling behind the back window.

"Oh my God it's a shark!" Emily screamed.

All of a sudden the roof started getting ripped off the car. The shark started snapping his teeth, and trying to get Emily. She took out her knife, and stabbed it with it a few times. "I need my rifle!" she told them.

Nigel handed Cassidy the rifle. And she handed it to Emily who shot the shark five times.

"He's done." Emily said. "Thanks, whoever gave me the gun." She hopped back down in her seat.

The car hit something and made it spin out. Emily slammed on the brakes, which was a mistake. The car rolled over, which just so happened to be by a steep hill.

The car rolled down the hill. Everybody covered their head, as they rolled down. They landed with a hard thud, on the roof of the car.

Emily unclipped her seatbelt. And landed on the roof, she yelped. She landed on a piece of glass that stabbed into her arm. She looked around for Andy, as she pulled it out of her arm.

But the brunette wasn't there. She looked on the road, and she was laying there. She must've fallen out when the car door on her side snapped off.

Emily ran towards her girlfriend that was laying there. "Andy!" Emily exclaimed, worriedly. Andy tried to get up, but fell back down. "Don't get ahead of yourself. You have road burns like crazy."

Emily lifted the brunette up, bridal style. And busted open a door down in a house, and put her down on the floor, in a bathroom. Then told the others to follow her. She cleaned Andy's burns with a washcloth Emily got from another store they went to. Then she removed all the debris and put neosporin and an ace bandage on was laying on her stomach, because the burn was all up her back, legs, and arms.

Emily sat by Caroline, who looked really pale.

"You're the most badass assistant mom has ever hired." She said.

"Thank you, you're very kind." The girl hugged the woman, and Emily let her. Caroline saw a drop of blood run down Emily's arm. She looked at her arm. She didn't notice it until now.

"You're hurt," Caroline said, everyone turned to Emily.

"I'm okay, I've had worse." Caroline grabbed a rag from under the sink, and put it on Emily's cut. "Thank you,"
