"Well it is Christmas… so I got you something." Blake gives her a sly smile before sliding Weiss over so she can stand up and wander back toward her bedroom.

Of course Weiss had gotten Blake something as well. So she quickly hops up and goes to her bag by the door and pulls out a perfectly wrapped box before returning to sit on the couch and waits for Blake to return.

Weiss still wasn't sure whether or not she agreed with Yang's assessment of their relationship. But Weiss also trusted Blake and her word. She lets out a small sigh and decides to let the troubling thoughts go for at least today. It was Christmas after all.

"Sorry. I had the boxes hidden in the back of my closet so you wouldn't accidentally stumble upon them somehow."

Blake makes her way back into the living room with a large box and 2 smaller, flat items. All of them are wrapped in a festive wrapping paper.

"Blake you truly didn't have to get me anything, much less multiple things!" Weiss' mouth falls open slightly in awe as Blake sets the items down on the coffee table in front of her.

"No, but I wanted to. So I did." She flashes that soft smile that Weiss finds irresistible, making her sigh and smile back.

"Now I feel bad that I only got you one thing." She purses her lips, looking over at the three items on the table.

"Technically it's only one thing. The smaller things are part of the bigger box."

"Well, okay. But you have to open your present first then." She shoves the much smaller box in Blake's direction.

Once Blake carefully takes the box from her, she pulls back her hand, bringing it to rest in her lap as she waits for Blake to open her gift. Weiss watches intently as Blake tears the paper from the box and looks at what is beneath.

"Weiss. Are you serious?" Blake looks up. Her eyes are wide with surprise. "These are so expensive. You didn't, you shouldn't have spent this much money!"

"I saw you looking at it all the time on your phone, but you never bought it."

"Yeah. Because they're so expensive!"

"Well, regardless of price, I know it was something you wanted but seemed hesitant to buy for yourself. And I felt like you more than deserved a new stethoscope, so I got you the same one."

As Blake pulls it from its packaging, she notices it is engraved with her name and a date.

"You got my name on it too?" Blake just holds it in her hands, too much in awe of Weiss to do much else. "What is this though?" She runs her fingers over the numbers that are engraved below her name and looks up at Weiss, waiting for her answer.

"That's the day you graduate." When Weiss looks up, she sees something in Blake's eyes she doesn't know if she's seen before. The moment happens so quickly that Weiss can hardly see the tear for in Blake's eye before it falls quietly down her cheek. "I-I just thought that it would be a good keepsake to help you remember the day. If you don't like it, I can send it back-"

"No, no." Blake wipes the tear away with her arm and looks back at her. "This is probably the best and most thoughtful gift anyone has ever given me. It's amazing. You're amazing." She reaches out and pulls one of Weiss' hands into her own and presses a kiss to the back of it. "Thank you so much. I would kiss you but I feel like if I do, I won't be able to stop. And you'll never get to open your present."

Before she moves to open her own boxes, Weiss makes sure she pulls Blake's hand back into her own again and runs her thumb over it before giving it a light squeeze.

"So which one am I supposed to open first?"

"Um," Blake reaches over and lifts the largest bo and slides it backwards so she can place it in the space between them on the couch. "this one I think. Because the other ones won't make sense without this one."

At first, Weiss tries to carefully pull the paper from the box without causing it to tear or create a mess, but Blake quickly loses patience.

"I'm going to die from anticipation before you get the paper off. Just rip it." Weiss looks up with a quirked eyebrow to find Blake bouncing her knees waiting. "Please?"

"Okay, okay. I'll just rip the paper then. It just seemed like you spent a lot of time getting it wrapped perf-"

She stops when she sees what is hidden beneath the paper. Her hands hover a few inches from the box as she stares blankly, trying to make sure her eyes aren't deceiving her.

"Yang had to help me find one that was good enough. She said that one was the best. She knows more about music and that kinda stuff." Weiss pulls away the rest of the paper, revealing the rest of the vinyl record player box. "And I made sure that the speakers you have will work with it too, so you don't have to get anything extra for it."

"My grandfather used to play records for my sister and I when we were really young." Weiss' voice is so quiet that Blake can barely hear it. "After he died, my father threw them all away…"

Instantly feeling like she made a mistake, Blake pulls her hands into her own lap and begins to nervously pick at the fabric on her jeans.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know." When Blake tries to explain, Weiss unwraps the two other items, revealing two different vinyls of classical music. "I just thought because you like to listen to classical music while you study, and sound is a lot more pure on vinyl, that it would be something you would enjoy. But I didn't know so we can return it and get something that isn't insensitive if-"

"Piano is my favorite." She sets the records aside and looks back at her girlfriend, her own expression softening when she sees the one of worry on Blake's face. She reaches out and holds onto Blake's hand. "I love my gift. It's perfect."

"Really?" Some of the worry instantly melts away from Blake's face as Weiss cups her cheek with one of her hands, and pulls them together. "I got you the Beethoven and Chopin ones because they seemed to fit with what you like to listen to. The guy at the record store was annoyed with me because I had to look up and listen to at least twenty different music tracks on my phone before I could pick records. And I-"

Before she can say another work, Weiss pulls Blake the rest of the way toward her and kisses her. It's a little rougher than she had meant to be, but neither of them seemed to lose any enthusiasm. She hears a small grunt from Blake as she pulls them down to lay on the couch.

She feels one of Blake's hands slide behind her shoulder so that she can keep all of her weight off of Weiss. And she feels one of the cushions depress behind her as Blake grabs it. Weiss opens her eyes when she feels Blake pull back from their kiss, still resting one hand against her cheek while the other slides down to rest on top of Blake's shoulder.

"What's wrong?" Weiss asks, her voice is low and quiet. Her gaze is absorbed into the sunset amber eyes above her.

"Absolutely nothing." Blake whispers before kissing her cheek softly. Weiss can't help but brush her thumb across Blake's jawline slowly as she rests their foreheads together. "You are the best thing that's ever happened in my life."

"Don't say something so foolish." Weiss can feel her brow furrow, unsure how she feels about Blake's confession. Of course she wanted it to be true, with all her heart. But she knew her mind was hoping it weren't.

"Nothing about you is foolish to me." Weiss feels a kiss at the corner of her mouth, so she turns her head so she can kiss her fully.

She doesn't know what to say, or even how to say all the things she feels for Blake, so she chooses not to. Instead, Weiss runs a hand through Blake's hair as she deepens their kiss.

As they continue kissing, Weiss' hands begin to wander. Once one eventually finds its way under Blake's shirt and starts to explore, Blake breaks their kiss, surprised.

"Weiss?" Blake questions, mostly asking for permission.

"Blake." Weiss whispers against Blake's lips before pressing a firm kiss to them, as she begins to pull upward at the hem of Blake's shirt.

"Not here." Blake says as she trails kisses down her neck, sliding her arms behind Weiss' back and lifting her up. Weiss wraps her arms around Blake's neck to hold herself against her body.

As soon as they stand up, Weiss finishes removing Blake's shirt, tossing it somewhere to the side. Blake tries to guide Weiss backwards towards her bedroom, but when it impedes their kissing, Blake chooses to pick her up and carry her instead, Weiss wrapping her legs around Blake's waist as they go.

When Blake sits them down on the edge of the bed, Weiss reaches down and pulls upward to remove her own shirt before pressing her chest flush against Blake, kissing her. She can hear the raggedness of Blake's breaths as she kisses down the side of her neck while dragging her fingernails over the bare skin on her chest.

Carefully, Blake grabs onto Weiss' hips and turns them so that Weiss can lay with her back on the bed, with Blake resting on top of her. Blake searches for and finds Weiss' hand in the sheets, intertwining their fingers, and pulling them to her lips so she can press a kiss to Weiss' hand.

"Are you sure this is what you want? We don't have to do anything you aren't comfortable do-"

"I'm sure." Weiss cuts her off, resting their foreheads together. Her hands make their way down to the button of Blake's jeans and begins to undo them, slowly pulling them down over her hips.

Blake presses one sure and final kiss to her lips before she begins to trail smaller kisses over Weiss' jawline and down her neck. Weiss feels like her skin is on fire and ice cold every place that Blake kisses as she makes her way down Weiss' body.

Even as she slowly removes Weiss' pants, Blake continues peppering light kisses across her stomach. She only breaks the kisses when she crawls back up her body, Weiss eagerly leans in to kiss her.

When Blake begins to slide her fingertips beneath the lacy hem of Weiss' underwear, Weiss finds herself sure, without a doubt.
