After I sworn my absolute loyalty to Daigo and the Tojo Clan I was driven home. I had no regrets at this point. Give my everything to protect the Tojo and Daigo is now my only goal. And having finally a goal in life made me complete. I was thrilled by the thought.

The next day I quit my job at the cabaret club and visited Akiyama at the Sky finances office.

As soon as I walked through the door I saw Akiyama how he sat on the couch, head laid back and a newspaper on his face. He was snoring lightly. I shook my head and looked if Hana was there. She sat quietly on her desk and was writing something on her computer. I whispered "Hello, Hana-chan."

Hana looked in my direction and waved at me. "Hello May-chan. No need for whispering. Chief should not be sleeping at this time." Her expression changed from smiling at me to angry when she looked over to Akiyama. "I really tried to wake him up, but he just won't listen to me. It's hopeless." She looked at me again. "But since you are here, could you watch the office for a bit? I need to go to the post office before they are closing."

"Sure! I'd love to help" I smiled at her and watched her leaving the office.

I stepped closer to Akiyama and inspected him. How is this position comfortable to sleep? I stood between him and the table. I leaned forward to remove the newspaper from his face, suddenly he moved his foot and it led to me falling directly onto him. At this very moment we woke up and still half asleep he said: "May-chan? This must be a very pleasant dream if your sitting on top of me."

It's not my style normally but after that I slapped him so hard across his face that he immediately was wide awake.

"God damn, ouch." I still sat on him and he realized this was not a dream. "How.. I... What the fuck did I miss while sleeping?"

I was embarrassed to the core and stood up and sat down on the other couch. "It was an accident. I did not intend to land on top of you."

Akiyama looked disappointed "What a shame. And I thought you finally realized that you are deeply in love with me."

I just shook my head and responded: "Only in your dreams."

He gave me a smirk. "But say May-chan. Why are you here? Don't you have to work?"

I smiled back at him. "No. I quit my job."

"Huh? But why?"

"Easy. I have a new job now." I gave him the widest smile. "I'm officially a Yakuza! I'm working directly for the sixth chairman Dojima-san."

Akiyamas eyes widened as he heard me say this. "No way! So they really did wanted to recruit you? This is awesome!" He stood up and sat down on the couch I was sitting and hugged me tight.

"I'm so happy for you!"

"Yes. And you didn't even know the best part."

He let go of me. "There's more? Tell me!"

"The sixth chairman was the man who saved me back then."

I told him everything what happened and at the end he said: "Wow, it really seems like you two are kinda destined huh?"

This was exactly what I was thinking.

The next year I learned a lot about the Tojo and the business. Whenever Daigo and I were alone he would teach me how to read. I was always by his side and became very fast his closest guard. The trust we had in each other grow with every day we spend together.

Kamurocho Hills was one of the biggest projects the Tojo had. But recently we teamed up with the a politician. Ryuzo Tamiya the minister of defence. The deal was kinda complicated. He told the media he wants to build a military base in Okinawa, but it seems its just a facade. All for the sake of getting to an American organisation named "Black Monday". Yes, I was there when they got together, but I still didn't understand how the hell this would work out. Whatever.

In 2008 Daigo, Shoyo Thoma (the assistant of the minister of defence) and me travelled to Okinawa because there lives the 4th chairmen with his orphanage. His name is Kiryu Kazuma and apparently he is a very important person, not only for Daigo, but for the Tojo in general. It seems that the current project with the minister needs the land his orphanage is standing on. But of course we got there to tell him what really is going on.

We went into this small family office of the Ryudo family because we were told Kiryu is there.

It seems the patriarch wants to swear an oath with Kiryu as we came in.

Patriarch Nakahara: "Please Kiryu-san be my sworn brother, even if we don't have an witness here."

Daigo: "Maybe I can help with that."

Kiryu: "Daigo? What are you doing here?"

Daigo explained him the reason for our visit and introduced him to Thoma. He looked at me and nodded. This was the sign for "Wait outside and don't let anyone in".

After Daigo explained the situation to Kiryu he called me back in.

Daigo:"Kiryu-san, I would like to introduce you to my most loyal guard. The Kitsune of Kamurocho." He waved me to him and I stepped closer. I bowed. "Its an honour to meet you 4th chairman." After I got up again and looked at him I gave him a small smile."

Kiryu:"The pleasure is mine. Daigo seems to trust you with his life, so I will give you the same amount of trust like he does."

I was surprised at first. No comment about me being a woman or a foreigner? And he respects me already? I can see why he is so important to Daigo. He always told me stories about how he looked up to Kiryu when he was younger. Despite him looking scary, his aura told a whole other story.

"Thank you, sir." I bowed again.

We stayed a little while and drank a couple of drinks before we decided to leave.

After being back in Kamurocho Daigo and me drove with a limousine back to Tojo HQ.

"So, this was Kiryu-san? He seemed like a very strong but friendly Guy:" I smiled at Daigo.

"Yes, he really is. Don't tell anyone but... I kinda see him as a father", Daigo said.

I giggled "Yeah, I kinda had a feeling about that" Daigo looked a little embarrassed and turned his head to the window. "Great, now you're laughing at me."

"No I'm not." I really tried not to laugh, but seeing Daigo being embarrassed was hilarious. I'm really glad that he's not like other Yakuza, because I would have been dead for things like these.

He turned his gaze back to me: "Oh, come on stop lying to me. I always know when you're lying."

This was true. I mean. I can lie. Damn I can take a whole new personality for a decade and make everyone believe this is the real me. But I just can't lie to Daigo. Never.

"Okay, you're right. I just thought it was kinda obvious that you learned from him after I met him. You two got a pretty similar aura." I stopped giggling and gave him an serious look. "He didn't judge me. He accepted me, despite the fact that I am a woman and a foreigner. Just like you and Majima-san did."

Daigo lost all his embarrassment in his gaze. "That's right. Because you are more than "just a woman" or "just a foreigner". You're the Kitsune of Kamurocho. You're my closest subordinate and friend." He took a deep breath. "And maybe you're even more than that to me."

The car stopped. I looked at him with surprise."Daigo? What do you mean by that?"

"I.. well... You're just really important to me alright?" after he said that he looked embarrassed again and got out of the car.

Was this some kind of confession that he fell for me? No. If he really would like me that way, he would have said it straight to my face...wouldn't he? What the hell...
