Was this way to the Queen's castle? She must have sneaked inside and found her. I retraced her steps backward, then spotted the Queen's elegant castle across the bridge to the mountain pass. Twelve solid, square towers are both a defensive and decoration aspect of this elegant castle and are connected by reinforced, solid walls made of brownstone.
Stylish windows are scattered thinly across the walls in an asymmetric pattern, along with small holes for archers and artillery.
A great gate with massive wooden doors, a regular bridge, and a moat protect those in need of aid in this rough mountain pass, but it's not the only way in, which fortunately only very few know.
A handful of waterfalls flow into various small rivers and provide the precious farm fields outside the castle with needed water. This castle has been improved and improved over the ages, some parts of the castle are clearly newer than others, the Queen is determined to keep their castle as modern as possible.
Did she steal these pages from the Queen, or did she write it down? I have no idea where I am as I started to realize that I've been keeping my head down by knowing nothing about Enchanted Forest. She can't be alone, so who was she partnered with and their mission?
I don't know how long I sat at the edge of the forest to see if someone was coming out for her, the woman who was either taken or killed by the Queen. I don't know how late or early when I heard people talking in whispers. I quickly woke up, grabbed my sack, and followed the noise. There are two men walking from the castle, but I can't hear them or see them clearly.
"Where is she, Levi?"
"Levi, we'll find her."
"Bastard, you promised you'd stay and to protect her!"
"I made a mistake, Levi. That's on me!"
They are arguing about something and one guy seems to be upset then starts hitting him. One guy is dark-colored with curly black hair and thick eyebrows and the other is skinny and bald.
"Levi! Come on, man!"
The skinny one pushed him away trying not to fight back. I slowly followed them from afar. Are they the one who is supposed to be with her?
"Where is it, Dan?"
"I don't have it. I thought she would make it out."
"You gave it to her?!"
The dark-colored muscular man walked faster as he spoke again last time. He looks heartbroken and angry.
"I'm done with you, bastard."
Along the way, I got caught and the men roughly captured me. I couldn't talk, but I think they think I refuse to talk. They found the papers in my sack and kept yelling at me. It was a long and hard journey, but strangely it was in the same Enchanted Forest. It's an island surrounded by water to protect from the Queen. It's well hidden for sure. I see werewolves and all kinds of people working together. It was strange seeing them working together when out there, they are always fighting.
They bonded me in a chair of the tent when a tall woman entered the tent. Why does that woman look so much to the woman in my dream? They dressed differently, but their faces and hair are similar.
"Governor Sima Mills."
She sat in front of me, and all the men stood outside of the tent.
"What's your name? Do you know what this is?" waving the papers to me like I know something, but obviously I do not.
"Where is Debra?"
I puzzledly studied her, dressed in a purple royal dress. Her hair is longer than the woman in my dream. All the people respected her by bowing before her, that's when I knew she's someone important. The legendary governor of the lower Enchanted Forest is known for her sense of justice and respect for the law.
"You're safe here. No one will harm you."
She took off the ropes behind the chair to prove she's not against me. "You don't know how to read and talk, do you? Did you go to grade school? Where are your parents?"
I don't know what's going on when she stood up and called someone in, "show her where she's sleeping and have Naomi teach her. She might know something happened to Debra."
The first few days were hard, the woman was teaching me letters. We fought several times and the manners. That woman was unpleasant, and I hated her. I wish my girl was here instead.
"Stop that!"
I angrily threw the chalkboard on the ground and ran out of the tent. The boss checked on me when I stormed out, gently tapped my shoulder, "how is it going?"
I furiously crossed my arms when the teacher came out, "she's an ungrateful girl. She wouldn't let me teach her!"
The boss curiously looked between me and her, "that's bad?"
She continues after the mean woman nods, "why don't you go ahead and take a break?"
The boss picked up the chalkboard when I sat on the bed and she's on the chair, "Is she teaching you letters?"
"She's a complicated woman, but she's a good person. Go easy on her."
She sighs heavily when she knows I still don't understand the words coming out of anybody's mouth, "her family was killed by the Queen."
"Okay, let's try this another way," the boss got up and called the teacher back, "get papers with the pictures in the storage room."
She sat back down, "have you started training your fighting skills? I'll find out soon, so you can learn sword fighting."
She kept on randomly talking when I smiled. The woman in the dream is her family, I wonder. What happened to her family? Who is she?
"You're smiling. You seem to know me from somewhere. You knew me when you first saw me, didn't you?"
The teacher returns and my smile turns upside down, with papers, a lot of papers. I have never seen that kind of paper before, it's clear white and strange.
"Governor Mills."
The boss puzzledly looked at me by tapping my leg, "it's okay. She's not going to hurt you." She conversed quietly with the teacher while I watched them.
"Use the visual aids to help you and be a little nicer, Naomi."
"Yes, Governor Mills, I apologize."
"I have to go to attend to other matters," affectionately touched my arm and I angrily shot her a look, "don't get mad now, it's alright." I do not want to be alone with that woman!
