Davina and I got into an argument, technically she's the one yelling at me for deciding to go find the Excalibur, but it's what it said. To find the stones, you'll need the sword. She's not happy about it, pouting all the way through the forest. I sigh when I turn around, she looks cute when she pouts. She is the one who pesters me day in and out, and I patiently listen. We're getting closer and there are more black knights as we sneak around the militias.
"We need to stop, Masha. Now!"
Fine, we'll camp, and I'll investigate ahead to see the best way through without being seen. I put down my back and helped Masha down from the horse and to set, and I signed, no fire.
"Where are you going?"
Stay, and I'll go look, signs back to Divina.
"Masha, please don't."
I sign again that I'm going to look, that's all. Me-back, me-back.
"Please be careful, honey."
Honey is only reserved when she's really worried or I'm being bad when I was little, it softens me up when she uses her sweet tone. I promise I'll be careful, Davina. I hate it when she uses her sweet voice. It makes me hesitate that I don't want to go, but I have to go to make sure there's a safe path. Too many black knights, and hundreds of tents, wow the Queen is serious about guarding the sword. I only want the stones to prove them wrong. Part of me feels like I have to do this. I feel like someone is talking to me in my head, telling me to go find the sword first. I felt the pull of whoever is in my mind.
Goddess Realm
Regina, you can't be serious?!
Regina smirked at Emma, complaining about who knows how long. Time, there is no time here and it just goes. It is our family when Reign made sure we're with our sweet Berta, so it's our children. The rest of Mills, Charming, and Smith's families are in Paradise, sometimes I would go visit my parents and Emma would do the same for hers. This time we have had no magic for years and Emma hates it. In the Goddess realm, you're allowed to have magic intact, but in Paradise, you're human.
Do you know what I really want?
Emma complains again about having a mean cheeseburger with all the words, but none of us are hungry. I lightly slapped Emma, her hair is long and younger, but we don't think of age. She has no wrinkles, perfect smooth skin, and the age of thirteen. Her hair is huge, fuller, and very blonde and wavy. We laid on the grass, playing with our children, many times over and we never got tired of it.
"Emma, dear, the whining doesn't suit you."
We made an agreement because Berta is with us. The idea of a threesome has come across her mind, but I refuse to have a threesome because I don't like to share. I affectionately wrap it on top and kiss on her cheek, "lucky for you dear, it won't be too long until you have the cheeseburger and our secret room."
"What about Berta, babe?"
"We made an agreement, Emma, so you'll have to deal with it."
Emma quietly protests but playfully kisses my face and rolls both of us around. The kids jump on us and we all laugh so hard.
"No, Emma! Don't!" They kept tickling me and the kids were tickling both of us. I couldn't stop laughing then I turned the table and rolled them away and ran. It's one of our games, catch me if you can. The twins chase me, we'll catch you, momma! Emmett and Razi chase after the twins. Emma pretends to run slow to watch the kids racing after me. This is our playground, never-ending entertainment. Bertha called out in a tone I have not heard in hundreds of years, a scary and worried tone, "mom!" I looked ahead in the beautiful dreaming realm at Bertha, pointing at the Goddess of Wisdom near the foundation. They never come unless it's for a severe cause. I made a rule with the children that if they come, they must alert me and stay away from them. Emma spotted and shot me a look, "go ahead, kids."
I look around for Berta when I touch Bertha's shoulder, "where's your mom?"
"She's with grandmother."
"Go play with your siblings, Reign."
Emma and I stood near the foundation on the opposite side, "Athena."
"Queen Regina, it's time."
"What does that mean, it's time?" Emma begins to worry for the first time when she touches my back, in protective mode.
"The prophecy, Emma." Has it been thousands of years? It didn't feel that way. I looked down at the foundation when Athena waved her hands to let us see Enchanted Forest. The magic killed the mother and everyone on board, James fled the mother. Athena kept the baby on a small piece of wood floating on the seas.
"It's one of our terms, is it not?"
We made an understanding between us to allow my spirit to roam to protect the girl from the knights and the Queen until it's time so I can lead her to my throne to learn how to protect herself from magic. "Thank you, Athena." She kept the foundation this time to allow me to keep watch and go through the foundation when needed.
My spirit soared through the waters as I kept the baby safe. I can easily read every single person's aura to see if they are good or evil. The naval ship, Queen's ship, I walked through the ship looking for the right person, but the workers were afraid to do something different. They have no courage. I spotted the general on the poop deck giving orders, he's evil but I know he won't kill children. His wife died of childbirth and takes care of his three children.
"General, remember your wife."
General walks to the edge of the poop deck, thinking of his wife when he looks on the horizon on the deep and wild sea. I need him to go to the side to see the wreckage of the ship. I appeared to one of the workers, mopping.
"Rest."
The workers stopped for a moment to rest and saw the wreckage, "General!" He pointed at the debris on the seas. The General heard someone crying and jumped into the sea.
"Regina!"
"Emma, is there a reason you're calling me?"
I immediately appear back in my realm; I don't appreciate anybody interrupting me when I'm trying to make sure the girl is safe when Alice has been killing my family!
"Regina, is this …? Alice's naval ship?"
"I don't have a choice. Masha, that's a good name because the General did draw her from the sea."
"Masha is like Moses but a female name. She'll be safe for now, Regina."
Berta surprises me with a kiss on the cheek, "did you have fun with your mother?"
"Yes, I did, and I have a surprise for you," Berta beams when I protectively wrap her back.
I silently laughed when Emma grumbled at Berta, "Berta, it is not really a surprise if you know what I mean." This meant, back off and go away. Emma has her ways of words to carefully not insult her and start a war. It's been thousands of years or is it more, but the point is, "I am not a ping pong. What did I tell you?" We tried a threesome, but it ended badly. Emma calls me Your Majesty but Berta calls momma sometimes. Emma felt unfair and criticized the entire time, so I lost my mood and let them figure it out on their own for weeks.
Emma apologizes with her arms up, "fine… fine."
I grabbed her back by the arm with a soft warning tone, "Emma." I can see Berta is becoming sensitive, so I quickly kissed her lips to reassure it's alright. Berta understood, "I'm going to check something at home."
"I'll be there soon as I can, I promise."
"Where's the drink when you need one, babe?"
I shook my head as I wrapped behind her back while watching Berta walk away. I need to do something about this. Emma wraps around me as we slowly dance together. We had good years together on earth, but my years with Berta were short. Sometimes, Emma forgets that I love her with all my heart, "Emma, I love you."
"I need that tattoo on my forehead… Berta …," Emma started to be a little upset with the idea of privacy with Berta, but I kissed her hard on the lips before she started thinking and enthusiastically returned the kiss. We melted into the kiss as our spirit moved through high.
