We rented a room in the Talon; it's been a while since she had been on a comfortable mattress. I sat on the corner desk to take out the wrapped leather book from the room. Davina kisses me on the forehead, "I'm going to take a nap." We have a long journey ahead of us since we are not sure if we are leaving tonight or morning. I carefully opened the leather, it's a book with a ring. It's beautiful. I heard someone cry but so much love when I touched the ring. I flitched my fingers away from the ring, it looked like a flower but really, it's not. It's a mix of two rings. I lightly pushed them away from the book. I'm not touching that again.
The book was blank when I opened it, I suspected the pages, clean white pages. It's the same with Regina's collection, I looked through Davina's sack to find the ink. I dropped the leather into the ink then began to tap onto the pages, it's gone! The ink went through the pages, I skimmed the pages to find the ink, nothing. What happened?
Let's try this again. What should I write? Does this belong to her? I don't know what to write yet, aggravatingly closed the book. I smiled when I watched Davina sleep peacefully. Her hair is messy but beautiful. I love her fiery red hair and her rosy cheeks. I never saw how beautiful in this whole new light, I heard her whisper, "you're distracting." I laid beside her, covered our blanket over us. She rolled close to me on my chest when I wrapped over her.
Past Storybrooke
"Queen Regina," the guard bowed before her, "Alexander Charming requested your presence."
Where am I? Is this a dream? I slapped my face to wake up, and it's not working. This is Queen Regina? She looks regal… The book I looked at on the desk, it's the same blank book. A young man is bowing before the Queen, he's wearing strange clothes, blue pants, and a shirt, whatever that is.
"Queen Regina."
She doesn't seem happy to see him and is not looking back at him yet. What's going on? Why am I here?
"What is it you need, Charming?" Regina regal stood before him, for the third time to convince me to hand my crown to him.
"I beg you to reconsider, Queen Regina. I am more suited than Diana Mills, your granddaughter who knows nothing about our beloved Kingdom."
"Our? Be careful, you let your emotions cloud your judgment. Even so, it appears you have other motives. You can see yourself out."
"Queen Regina …"
"Guard!"
I watched closely when she sat back down, she didn't use the ink but her hand and the air from her mouth. It has words written inside then next second, it's gone by her hand. I followed her to the next room, the crystal is broken into three pieces: silver, dark red, and clear as water. It's elemental stones. There's a bean in her hand, magically made a portal, so I was forced to land my feet beside her.
Whoa. Wait, look around in the forest, Sherwood Forest, this is Enchanted Forest. What is that place?! I watched Queen Regina creating the White Kingdom then hovered over the book to make it disappear. She made the three stones float into the air and in the speed of light, hid in the far reach of the earth. I didn't see where it went, that was fast. How can she do this? The Dark Throne appeared out of nowhere from that place to here.
My body was pushed into a dark space, not one light insight. I couldn't stand still when there's a strong stormwind and couldn't see clearly. I can talk. I can talk!
"Where am I?!"
Goddess Realm
The book is a gateway between the spiritual and human world and only one person can activate it. Masha thinks she's sleeping, but in reality, she's thrown into the book of knowledge. I want her to see me first before she talks to me. She wouldn't know who I am since I'm but a voice to her conscience.
The wind and coldness don't bother me as much as it bothers her. I waited a moment before answering her question.
"That's the wrong question."
She didn't understand when she protested and asked who I am, but I didn't answer because I can't … yet.
"The knowledge of our power and magic was encoded in three stones brought to the Enchanted Forest and hidden in the far reaches of the earth. Greed will drive others to hunt the stones, but if the humans should unite them before you, they will not be able to withstand the compulsion and will drive the world to famine, war, and ultimate destruction. You must find the stones. The fate of the Enchanted Forest lies in your hands."
She yelled at me, "what did you do?!"
"It is you who has brought this upon yourself."
"What did I do?!"
I send you here to unite the three elements.
"They have nothing to do with me! I don't want to be someone you want me to become!"
She's angry at me and thinks I'm turning into someone she's not. "The knowledge of the stones is meant for you only. Find the stones or suffer the consequences."
"I don't know how to find them! I don't know where they are!"
"If you don't unite them at once, then you will be consumed by fire even you can't survive. The future of mankind rests in your hands, Masha Mills."
"You have to help me! I can't do this!"
I use air to push her out of the book. Emma immediately embraced me from behind by surprise when I returned from the in-between void. "That was harsh, now don't you think babe?"
"It was a little push she needed because there will be consequences."
"I know, babe." I rub her arms on my chest then turn me around to passionately kiss me on the lips. "I have to tell you, babe, it's heaven with you."
I knew what's on her mind when I wrapped around her body, "Emma …"
"Regina, I know we made an agreement, but I can't help being jealous of what you're doing for Berta. You're invented into her future, but …"
I know it seems unfair to her, and she has a right to feel this way. One thing I hate about this place, it tells exactly how you feel and can't lie about it. "I …," reconsidering my words in a way she'll understand. "She's marrying the King, Emma. She's going to have a family and future that I can never give her. I gave our future to you, so Berta deserves this. If I can secure her future with the King and be happy, then I'll do it for her. You have no reason to be jealous."
Emma doesn't believe me when she replied, "I know you, Regina. You're not okay with this."
"My feelings are not important, Emma. She deserves this and I will not be the one standing in the way of her future. I am only to ensure her safety and I'll never see her again."
"That's not true. Berta would find a way."
That's what I'm afraid of; nevertheless, we wouldn't see each other for years or maybe hundreds. Emma begins to be concerned after Athena and I reach an agreement when she asks me again, "babe, are you sure you're alright?"
Daniella … I thought deeply before replying in a cold tone, "Yes, I'm fine, Emma."
