Ruby vs Bendy And The Ink Machine in a Nutshell Episode 1

Inspiration: Stickman vs Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 1 by JzBoy

The scene starts with a letter saying:

Dear Ruby,

It seems like a lifetime since we worked on cartoons together. 30 years really slips away, doesn't it.

If you're back in town, come visit the old workshop. There's something I need to show you.

Your Best Pal, Joey Drew

The sound of a door opening and closing can be heard as the scene now reveals an older looking Ruby looking around with her curious silver eyes. The old, wooden hallway filled with Bendy Cartoon posters.

She was dressed a red shirt under tan overalls and shoes. Her hair was done up in a short ponytail.

Old timey music played as the camera slowly panned through the old studio. One room had one of the walls written in ink spelling out: "Dreams Come True"

Ruby is seen with her hand on her chin contemplating on the written message. She tries opening one of the doors only for it to be locked, so she walks away. She soon spots a large machine in a room appropriately named "Ink Machine."

Ruby pokes her head in the room to find that it's not working. Was she here early?

As she was pondering about the whereabouts of her coworkers a loose plank fell from the ceiling halting her mid step. Taking a peek to her left she finds... something that gets her running away down the opposite hallway.

Taking a peek into the last room to see it devoid of life. There were three pedestals on both sides of the room with a frame of a picture over each platform. On the other side seems to a mechanical console that looks to control the Ink Machine in the other room.

Ruby takes a step back from the entrance and snaps her head to find a large Bendy cutout on the corner... that certainly wasn't there before.

The Bendy cutout looks at Ruby. Ruby looks at the Bendy cutout for a few seconds... before knocking it over. Thoroughly creeped out by it.

A series of screen cuts show still images of Ruby:

Picking up a Bendy Plushie that squeaks.

Relaxing on her old workbench with a book and record tape.

Finding a gear.

Another workbench with an ink jar with skull and crossbones. Her attention was on one of the images of Bendy head with a note saying no. Probably not a good enough design for the character.

Another screen cut shows Ruby entering a room with a small music radio and turning it on. The music plays an upbeat tune before blasting out more clear lyrics to a song. (I have no idea what the lyrics are so please help.)

The screen cuts back to Boris with the wrench lodged in his exposed ribcage. Ruby at first is carefully reaching for the tool, only to grab it and pull it out. Looking back at Boris, she leaves back to the room with the pedestals.

Speak of said room, the screen cuts to Ruby crouching at eye level with the pedestal and the floating book. She swipes her hand underneath the floating book, questioning how the hell it's doing that.

Ruby is continuing her search for the office relics when a Bendy cutout peeks around the corner. The grinning demon's smile, while looking harmless, really set Ruby on edge as it pulled back behind the corner.

The screen shows Ruby's stunned face first, and then switched to the cut that lit aflame. As if it was intended to purge the cursed cutout.

The screen changes to Ruby turning on the flow of ink and taking a breath of triumph surrounded by the office relics. She pulls down the lever and the Ink Machine in the other room starts flowing and leaking onto the floor.

Seeing that her work was done, Ruby walked back to the machine, not knowing of the inky creature pulling itself from the puddle. It's innocent smile under eyes drenched in black ink. Despite it's appearance, it hurried over to the entrance and comically hammered boards of wood. Just in time for Ruby to arrive.

The young lady didn't have time to ponder on how the entrance was blocked off as she peered into to the room when suddenly...

Bendy's ruined face popped up in front of her scaring the ever-loving hell out of her... for a short while. Bendy leaned against the blockade and fruitlessly tried reaching for the human girl.

Ruby briefly saluted to the ink demon before booking it all the way to the exit. The walls bursting with ink and flooded the floor. With the door in sight, Ruby made a mad dash towards the doors and towards salvation... only to face plant on the door. The words flashing: "Locked" to explain her faceplant and fell to the lower levels below.

Landing painfully on the wooden floor, Ruby slowly got up while nursing her head in her hand. Finding an axe in the room, Ruby began chopping away at the planks and debris that blocked her path. Her arm swinging up and down with the speed and ferocity of an engine.

Eventually, Ruby found a room with a clearly demonic circle with lit candles and a coffin standing against a wall.

Right after resting her weapon down, Ruby was assaulted by flashing images she didn't understand and looked as if she was having a seizure before subsequently passing out from the mind rape.
