Ruby vs Bendy And The Ink Machine in a Nutshell Episode 2
Inspiration: Stickman vs Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 2 by JzBoy
The scene starts with Ruby laying unconscious in the same inky circle and candles; the ax is seen exactly where it was placed on the coffins before.
The young woman's eyes suddenly snap open and quickly got to her feet as she looked around the room she was in and the door boarded up. Holding the ax close to her, Ruby stepped outside and into a staircase leading down deeper underground where a plank fell and loudly smacked on the floor.
By Ruby's expression, she was not liking her situation one bit.
The screen cuts to Ruby standing next to an alter/shelf on a wall with a small Bendy cutout, lit candles, a message reading: "HE WILL SET US FREE", and a can of Briar Label "Bacon Soup". Of which Ruby picks up to inspect.
A cheery song plays in the background as Ruby read the label on the can. The next thing she did was peel the lid open and consume the whole content. Can included.
I'm so happy
Aha! Happy go lucky me
I just go my way
Living - The screen immediately cuts to a different scene.
Ruby peeks behind the doorway to see a hallway with ink flooding the floor. The heavy, slushing steps Ruby takes just to wade through the pool shows just how viscous and heavy it is. She looks up and was surprised to see someone wearing a... bendy mask...? running across the doorway with something in it's arm.
Rushing to see who it was, Ruby looked around the corner to another Bendy cutout...to which she cut it down without a hint of remorse in her eyes.
The screen flips to Ruby inspecting a mechanical lever. It seemed it was inoperable as the lights refused to shine. Ruby turned around the find the power and visibly flinched to see the Bendy cutout repaired. Staring at the object of her ire for a few seconds longer, Ruby speeds away to do her tasks.
The scene changes to Ruby finding two of the switches and presses them, quickly strums the strings on the banjo cutely with her tongue sticking out... and downing another can of "Bacon Soup."
The scene cuts to Ruby finding and pressing the last button and then pulling the lever, unlocking the door. Ruby finds it the be the music department, but the power seems to be off. Pulling yet, another lever, turns on the light illuminating the room for better visibility.
All seemed quiet and harmless enough until a black puddle in the front of the sign brought to life a inky mass that comprised of the upper half of a human body. The appearance of the "Searcher" drained the color of the woman's entire body in terror and seemed to freeze her in place.
The searcher lunged for her legs, but came up short. To this, Ruby took the opportunity to beat the ink monster to death via the business end of her ax. Repeatedly.
The scene cuts to a tape recorder playing music when Ruby decided to press down on some keys on an Organ. What she, nor anyone was expecting, was to hear moaning after her fingers left the keys.
She quickly took her hands away and looked at the instrument warily. She presses on more keys again and awaited and even more pained groans came off of the Organ. Thoroughly spooked, Ruby dashed away and never touched it again... Okay maybe one more time.
After gulping down another can of "Bacon Soup," Ruby found the pump controls. She just had to get through a large windowless opening; which she did by fumbling over it. She quickly saved it by striking a thumbs up over her clearly successful attempt.
"Take 2"
Ruby finds a door she needs to get through. She whips out her ax and then bashes the door down. Ruby strikes a thumbs up before the screen cuts away again.
"Take 3"
Ruby finds key rings in the trash and uses it to open the door to find... more cans of "Bacon Soup". Cheery, old timey music played as Ruby devoured each can. The rate at which she consumed them showed how much she could "Pac" away in her stomach.
Ruby is seen leaning against the wall with an open can of "Bacon Soup" in her hand. Listening to a recording she should be paying attention to. Instead, she focused on a VERY important detail she overlooked. The expiration date which was labeled: EXP 01/01/1987
Hell Naw
To the Naw Naw Naw
Hell-
The well placed music cut off as the screen showed Ruby wide eyed in disbelief. She was frozen as she tried to process what she's been doing since falling to the lower levels, so long that the can fell from her hand. She just stood there until the gears in her head finally started to wake the hell up to inform her that she fucked up horribly. Her body shook before making a vomiting face before the screen cuts to a new scene.
A clicking sound echoes in the large room via a projector as Ruby looks over the balcony to see chairs, music stands and one of the Bendy cutouts on the floor below. Ruby sees this(after getting over her horrific realization) and raises her axe in preparation. Her half lidded eyes portraying her inner vexation at the smiling demon.
She runs down to see the cutout has disappeared. She looks around left, right and then up to the projector room to see two of the cutouts smiling down at her.
*CLICK*
Ruby then goes up, smacks the projector and runs back down, but zips back over the balcony to now see two Bendys standing near each other.
Ruby jumps back downstairs ready to cut the cutouts to ribbons.
*CLICK*
Ruby's eyes dilate to not only see no cutouts, but the projector reset itself. She sags her shoulders upon realizing the puzzle she has to figure out as well as remember what the recording was saying.
The screen cuts to now three Bendys downstairs. Ruby slaps the projector and runs backdown stairs to-
*CLICK*
She pauses mid run before grabbing her hair and fuming in frustration. Her face turning comically bright red in anger.
*2000 Years Later*
Now there were NINE Bendy cutouts on the bottom floor. Ruby is leaning back in her chair and turns the projector on, then rushes back to pluck the banjo twice, plays some keys on the piano, strums the violin once and return to see... none of the cutouts there.
*CLICK*
Ruby slowly tips over and falls loudly on the floor just the emphasize just how done she was with this room.
The screen changes to Ruby, supposedly being done with the music room, turning the wheel to let the ink flow in the pipes. She turns and was about to being her walk back when a Bendy cutout popped out of the corner, to which Ruby responded in the best way she knew how.
*THUNK**CRASH*
By throwing her axe at it's grinning face. After visually showing how she feels for the demon, Ruby notices the mysterious, inky man inky over to the side of the studio room. To which Ruby notices and sees more searchers starting to spawn in.
A smack can be heard as Ruby is splats against the wall and falls over. She quickly gets up and runs away.
Screen cuts to Ruby pulling down the switch for the pump controls and finds another radio on the table. She plays it and upbeat music starts playing in stereo before it blasts the lyrics coming out.
Ruby, liking the song, sits down with a small smile on her face; tilting her head left and right on beat to the rhythm.
"Hey! I am alive.
Immortalized.
You're the creator, you traitor.
Hey! There's no vaccine.
To cure our dirty needs.
For now you must
Build up our machine you die tonight!"
Until the lyrics implied her dying. The young woman stared at the radio as it kept playing. No longer smiling or jamming with the lyrics. She felt it was directed at her and decided that now was a good time to leave.
The screen cuts to Ruby walking down the hallway to a different room until a metal pipe struck her head. Dazing her until she finally keeled over.
"Rest your head. It's time for bed." Said the mysterious man and then the screen blacks out.
The screen fades back to see Ruby tied to a chair and is asleep until she abruptly reawakens to see the situation she's in. She tries breaking free from her bindings, but proved fruitless as she now sits face to face with Sammy Lawrence.
"There we go now. Nice and tight. We wouldn't want our sheep roaming away now, would we? No we wouldn't." Sammy monologued, but stopped once he realized Ruby was fast asleep, so he slapped her awake.
Distant rumbling in the pipes can be heard overhead as Sammy takes notice of this and grew eerily excited. "Listen. I can hear him. Crawling above. Crawling! Let us begin." He finishes before running away in an admittedly goofy manner.
Not one second he is gone, crashing and yelling can be heard as apparently, Sammy's inky god is attacking him off screen. Ruby can't see what's happening to the crazy man, but she isn't willing to find out.
After loosening her bindings just enough, Ruby picks up her ax left behind by the madman and looked up just in time to see a searcher lunging right at her... Or it would have had it not been for the barrier in between them.
The screen cuts to Ruby making her careful escape. She seen more planks blocking her path in a hallway so she goes straight away to chopping all of them down.
*BONG*
The axe head broke. Leaving her without any weapons to defend herself and in front of her was another room with ink flooding the floor on the way to the door on the other side.
It was then that Ruby would have her second encounter with Bendy as she sprang out from beneath the ink pool. It's disfigured and misshapen body a nightmare to look upon as it stared down the young silver eyed girl... At least... it would have if the axe handle did imbed itself between it's non-existent eyes.
The camera popped it's view so it is positioned to where Ruby would be standing. She wasn't there and instead ran down the only available hallway on the side.
The screen jumps to Ruby holding the barred door back incase Bendy came knocking. And he did. Banging on the door repeatedly before subsequently leaving her alone. Ruby swiped a bead of sweat dripping from her forehead and breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that the danger was now over.
For now she carried on with her walk, but a rolling can of "Bacon Soup" stopped at her feet. She looked up to the sounds of heavy footsteps to see... Boris the Wolf? Alive?
He bent over and picked up the accursed can with a smile on his face. The last scene is showing Ruby's face turning into one of suffering at the supposed implications of the can.
