Izuku Midoriya was a kind hearted kid. He wanted to be a hero, without even realizing he was already on his way to be one. With his heart of gold, Izuku rolled with the punches life threw at him. Unfortunately, he also started expecting things to happen. He had expected to have the girl he had just rescued to want nothing to do with him, like everyone else, especially after the kids he saved her from made it clear he was quirkless. He had expected to be told that he shouldn't have done that. What he didn't expect was for her to thank him.

Or give him a hug.

Or become his friend.

Touya fell to the ground laughing so hard as Izuku awkwardly introduced his new friend; Himiko Toga. Katsuki was just impressed the nerd's heroism was appreciated this time.

It was two weeks later that Himiko spilled the beans to Izuku.

"Midoriya, what's it like to be normal?"

Midoriya felt himself blink, before looking at his friend.

"Wh-What do you mean, Toga?"

"My parents want me to be normal. But I dunno how to be."

"What do you mean normal?"

"Well.. I like blood!"

Alarm Bells went off, before they were shut down. The analytical part of Midoriya's brain began to act up, whirring and trying to grasp at ideas it hadn't grown to grasp at yet.

"Is it part of your quirk?"

The girl nodded, to which Midoriya began to mutter. Even at seven years old, he was a pure genius.

"You need it to stay healthy, don't you?"

Another nod.

"And your parents.. what do they do about it?"

Touya's flames burned brightly before being snuffed out by Aizawa. What Izuku had just told Aizawa, it— Touya knew what that was. How it felt.

Quirk abuse. Either by overuse or by completely ignoring it.

It didn't take long for Himiko's parents to get arrested for more than just not properly taking care of their daughter. They had many more problems than that, including running a… well, it just explains to Aizawa why Himiko knew in detail how to make a baby.

It wasn't long after that, that the Midoriyas introduced another member of the family into— Well, the family. Himiko Midoriya; Proud sister of Touya Midoriya and Izuku Midoriya.

Izuku was proud of himself. Aizawa was proud of him. Emi wouldn't shut up about how he was so proud of Izuku to his face, and honestly? He didn't mind. The kid did good.

"So- Your analysis looks like this!" Izuku proudly said to his sister, who suddenly became much more cheerful.

He slid his notebook to her at the table, going back to eating his cereal as she began to read her own entry. Funnily enough, it was right besides Touya's.

On the right side of the page was admittedly a good drawing for a seven year old, Himiko feeling herself blush from how well he captured her image. Besides that, her quirk analysis read rather nicely.

Quirk? Transform. Check. Side affects? Need for blood to stay healthy, check. Time limit, possible solutions, heroes that Aizawa could eventually get in touch with to help her? All check.

Himiko jumped out of her seat and went to her brother, giving him a hug. Izuku smiled and almost purred from the contact, hugging her back.

Himiko Midoriya was glad she met Izuku, and she was glad he helped her.

To Himiko, Izuku was her hero.

The Deku Protection squad introduced themselves to Himiko only a few days later, and the ever growing team had themselves yet another member. As they stood around in Aizawa's living room in hoods, Himiko grinned brightly and asked a question.

"So, when do we get to beat up the people who picked on Izuku last weekend?"

Glowing red eyes, an explosion, laughter, and burning flames answered her question. Himiko couldn't be happier with life.
