Kaminari Nariko loves her family, no matter how crazy it is. Her Nanna Nazaré would be able to fend of the strongest villain with her shoe and knitting needles. Granny Sibilla can and will march up to any hero and give them a piece of her mind. Grandpa Aito can cause the biggest prank wars and no one would know he caused them. Auntie Maribel can create anything if she puts effort in it. Dad has so many connections, he can have breakfast with All Might, lunch with billionaires, and dinner with the Emperor if he wanted. Mom is so witty, no one survives her roasts. Denki can blend in to any crowd and learn every rumor about anyone.

She visits Denki everyday in the hospital before she goes to work. She visits her dad in prison every month to keep him updated with everything that's happening. She visits her mom in the rehabilitation center every other Sunday to make sure she doesn't feel lonely. And she visits her grandparents every other week to check up on them.

She works two jobs, a grimy housecleaning job with a creepy boss and a clothes fixing job, to keep a steady income for bills, debt, and Denki's treatments. She sacrifices sleep and eating to keep the apartment she grew up in and lives in from eviction. She trains everyday to achieve her dreams of becoming a hero.

She keeps up her gymnastics classes, because her mom doesn't want her to sacrifice what she loves for her family. She keeps up with her singing and ice skating lessons for her dad, because he wants her to be happy. She keeps her grades at passing marks, giving hours away to try and keep up with her peers when she doesn't understand how they get any of this stuff.

She keeps a smile on her face through anything and everything, just so Denki doesn't worry or feel guilty for making it hard on his twin sister when it's not his fault that he has a disease with no cure. She pays for her grandparents assisted living, because she knows how much her parents love them. Nariko loves her family.

Nariko was so happy when she received her UA acceptance letter. She's finally able to make another step towards her dream of becoming a hero, for herself and for her family.

One new message: Creepy Boss

"A client needs their house cleaned before they put it on the market. I sent the location."

One new message: Lazy Boss

"We have a large wardrobe of vintage clothes that need fixed. I've dropped it off at your apartment."

15 year old Nariko stretches her arms above her head after reading the messages. She walks through the hospital doors, fixing her oversized blue cardigan and putting a bright smile on her face.

"Hi, Shigeto-san!" Nariko greets cheerfully, walking past the receptionist's desk. The male nurse smiles brightly and waves, talking on the phone.

"Hey! It's Doctor Sekimoto!" Nariko exclaims, giving a female doctor two finger guns. "How's the wife?"

"She's not my wife," Doctor Sekimoto sighs while she flips through the papers on her clipboard.

"Denki-kun is awake and has taken his morning medication. He's been waiting for you," She says, giving Nariko a small smile. "Congrats, by the way. I look forward to keeping you locked in the hospital as you recover from dangerous stunts in three years."

Nariko places a hand over her heart with a dramatic gasp.

"I'm hurt! You say that like I'm going to get caught sneaking out of the hospital!" The yellow haired teenager exclaims, making the female doctor roll her white eyes. Nariko laughs and walks down the hallway. She knocks once on the last door and enters.

Denki sat in a wheelchair, staring out of his window with a small smile. His skin was sickly with a faint black pattern crawling over his skin. He had a colorful wrap around his bald head.

"Denki-chan!" Nariko exclaims, hugging the boy tightly. Denki laughs and hugs back, a bright smile on his face.

"I've missed you!" Nariko says cheerfully, making Denki roll his eyes.

"You saw me at lunch yesterday," Denki states before grinning. "I'm so excited for you! UA High School!"

Nariko beams, jumping up and down. She fixed the straps of her backpack when one starts to fall off her shoulders.

"I know! Look at the uniform!" Nariko twirls around, showing off her slightly modified uniform. "I'm supposed to wear the blazer, but eh."

Her skirt was modified to reach down to her knees and she wore knee high cat socks. Her shirt, despite being the smallest size without being tailored, was baggy even after being tucked into her skirt. The first couple buttons were unbuttoned and her tie was untied around her neck. Instead of a blazer, she wore the oversized cardigan.

"You'll get in trouble," Denki says with a raised eyebrow. Nariko gasps dramatically, gripping her cardigan.

"And not wear my signature cardigans?! Blasphemy!" Nariko points an accusing finger at her younger twin. Denki bursts out laughing, making Nariko go into a fit of giggles. She glances up at the clock and frowns.

"I'll sneak in some more video games tomorrow. Wish my class luck!" Nariko says, giving Denki another tight hug before skipping out of his room.

"They'll need more than luck! They're gonna be stuck with you for three years!" Denki shouts after her. Nariko laughs and skips down the hallway, greeting the nurses and doctors that walk by.

"See you tomorrow, Shigeto-san!" Nariko waves goodbye while she walks through the open entrance. She slows to a stop when she reaches the bus stop, taking out her phone and a peppermint.

Creepy Boss:

"I'll clean the house after school"

Nariko hums as she pops the peppermint into her mouth, leaning back on the bench.

"Which game should I get Denki-chan?" The yellow haired teenager thinks, putting her hands on her head and looking up at the clear sky.

"I can smuggle my game console in!" Nariko exclaims out loud, a large grin on her face. She feels her ears turn red when a woman sitting on the bench gets up and walks away.

It doesn't take much more time for the bus to stop by and Nariko quickly gets on, paying the fee. She checks the time while she walks to an empty seat.

"Hm, still got time," She mutters under her breath, putting her phone in her cardigan pocket. She leans back and crosses her ankles, staring out the window. The scenery passes by quickly with the little traffic. Nariko quickly pulls the wire above her head when she sees UA High School.

"Thanks!" Nariko exclaims with a smile toward the bus driver before she jumps down the steps off the bus. She shakes her hands in front of her, forcing the nerves out of her mind.

"This is just the start. Idiot, don't get nervous now!" Nariko scolds herself with a frown. She forces a bright smile on her face and walks into the UA school grounds.

"Okay, you may have been right to be nervous..." Nariko bites her lip, looking around the large hallway for any signs. She feels panic grow in her stomach, taking a hesitant step towards the stairs next to her.

"Woah!" Nariko stumbles forward when someone bumps into her back. She falls to the ground, catching herself before her face hit the ground.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going! Are you alright?" A female voice asks while someone grabs Nariko's arm and helps her up. The yellow haired teenager turns around and sees a 17 year old girl with long, periwinkle hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.

"Cute..." Nariko blushes at how cute the 17 year old appeared before she smiles brightly.

"I'm fine. I shouldn't have been standing in the middle of the hallway," She says while she scratches the back of her head. "I'm Kaminari Nariko." Nariko holds her hand out.

The 17 year old smiles brightly and shakes the 15 year old's hand.

"Hadō Nejire! Why are you wearing a cardigan instead of the UA uniform jacket? Is that black lightning bolt natural?" Nejire asks curiously. Nariko blinks at all of the questions being asked. She giggles and messes with the edge of her cardigan.

"I have the best fashion sense and to not wear one of my signature items is horrifying. Yes, the black lightning bolt is natural," Nariko answers the questions, making Nejire smile brightly.

"You're so cool Kaminari-chan!" Nejire exclaims with stars in her eyes. Nariko smiles with red ears and brushes some of her hair behind one of them.

"Ah, Hadō-senpai, do you know where Class 1-A is? I don't really want to get lost on my first day," Nariko asks, Nejire nodding her head with a smile.

"Yep! It's on the second floor. You won't miss the door. It was nice meeting you Kaminari-chan! I hope we'll meet again!" Nejire says with an excited jump. The 15 year old smiles back before turning toward the stairs and walks up.

"Nejire-chan what are you doing here? We're going to be late!" A 17 year old boy with spiky, blonde hair, blue eyes, and tan skin walks up to Nejire with a 16 year old boy with navy blue hair, navy blue eyes, and light skin walking behind him. Nejire smiles softly and turns, greeting her best friends.

"Sorry Mirio-kun, Tamaki-kun! I was just helping Kaminari-chan! She needed to know where Class 1-A was!" Nejire says while the three start walking towards their class.

"Already interested in the future heroes Nejire-chan?" The blonde, Mirio, asks with a smile, Nejire nodding in excitement. She tilts her head and puts a finger to her chin in thought.

"She looks familiar. I wonder if I know her?" Nejire says while tapping her chin.

Nariko stares at the large door in front of her, messing with the straps of her backpack. A giant, bright 1-A was painted on the door and Nariko would have laughed if she wasn't so nervous.

Taking a deep breath, she rolls back her shoulders and slams open the door with a bright smile.

"Hello soon-to-be exasperated classmates!" Nariko greets cheerfully with a wave. "I'm Kaminari Nariko and during the three years we'll be together, you all will wonder at some point how I, a chaotic dumbass, can function in civilised society!" Nariko waves excitedly while walking into the class.

"Uh–hi?" A 15 year old boy with black hair, black eyes, fair skin, and weird looking elbows, says with a confused expression. He was talking with a 15 year old boy with bright red, spiky hair, bright red eyes, and tan skin.

"Everyone looks so tall!" Nariko pouts internally while she adjusts her backpack straps.

"Yo! Your elbows look so cool!" Nariko compliments with bright eyes. "And you hair looks lit!" The two boys smile awkwardly.

"Thanks dude!" The red haired teenager says before blushing in embarrassment. "Ah crap, sorry."

Nariko giggles and sits in the seat in front of the redhead.

"No worries! Nice to meet you!" The redhead grins brightly, showing off his sharp teeth.

"Nice to meet you too, Kaminari-kun! I'm Kirishima Eijirō!" The red haired teenager exclaims. Nariko smiles brightly.

"Sero Hanta. Nice to meet you, Kaminari-kun and thanks," The black haired teenager says with a grin.

"I'm looking forward to being friends, Kirishima-kun, Sero-kun!" Nariko beams, cheeks hurting from smiling so much. She really doesn't need to be so nervous.

"If you're just here to make friends, leave." Nariko squeaks in surprise and turns around in her seat. There was a small group of three talking in front of the door. Outside, a yellow... caterpillar was laid out in the middle of the hallway.

"Anyone else see the yellow caterpillar or did I somehow get high?" Nariko asks, giving herself a small shock in case this was a dream.

Nope. There's just a human sized caterpillar in the middle of the hallway. Okay. She wasn't expecting this day to go this way, but she'll roll with it.
