"Who's ready for some violence, bitches?!" Nariko states loudly as she bursts into her class's waiting room. Her paint covered cherry red cardigan was tied around her waist and specks of paint covered her sports bra and skin. Her hair was in a crazy mess and a couple bandages were on her arms and shoulders.
"Riri, what did you do?" Hanta asks almost immediately. Nariko smiles too innocently and crosses her arms.
"What'd you mean? I haven't done anything!" She exclaims cheerfully. Hanta gives her a look.
"Nariko Aracelis Eloisa Mandelli Kaminari-Pascual Martínez. What the fuck did you do? I'll tell Doctor Sekimoto," Hanta repeats again. Nariko places a hand over her heart and gasps in mock hurt.
Her smile comes back, more menacing, and flips her cousin off. "No one, not even Doctor Sekimoto will believe you. I have an alibi, which means I am not guilty."
"It sounds like she just murdered someone..." Eijirō mutters to Mina. Nariko points at him and winks.
"I cannot confirm nor deny that statement," She says brightly, making Eijirō and Mina pale. Tenya takes off his glasses and pinches the bridge of his nose.
"Kaminari-kun, if you're going to kill someone, please don't drag us all in," He says tiredly, making Nariko giggle.
"You say that like I'll get caught!" Hanta rolls his eyes and glares at Nariko. "I won't. Like I said, I have an alibi."
Nariko giggles at most of the pale faces she sees and waves a hand. "Guys, I didn't kill anyone. You don't have to worry!"
"I always have to worry for your chaotic ass, Riri," Hanta says tiredly, making Nariko place a hand over her heart again.
"I am hurt again. My heart. How could you, my cousin?" Nariko says in a bland tone. The black haired teenager rolls his eyes with a smile and ruffles the yellow haired teenager's hair.
Her nose scrunches and she swats his hand away. "Stahp it."
"You're cousins?" Eijirō asks with a raised eyebrow. Nariko grins with a nod and wraps an arm around Hanta's waist.
"Second cousins. Bisabuela Eufémia always made sure that her family stayed connected with each other," The yellow haired teenager answers cheerfully. "She was one crazy lady."
"Nanna Nazaré always said Riri took after Bisabuela's personality. Crazy and feral." Hanta laughs when Nariko elbows his side, smiling teasingly.
"I am not crazy! I'm just a bit... unstable," She glares at the black haired teenager before popping her fingers, "and there is no evidence to show that I am feral."
"No solid evidence," Hanta corrects with a head tilt. Nariko rolls her eyes and glances up at the clock in the waiting room.
"It's almost show time. We goin' or what?" She says, pointing up at the clock. Tenya stands up with his hand raised in his usual chopping motion.
"You're correct, Kaminari-kun! Everyone, please follow me as we make our way to our entryway!" Tenya exclaims loudly, pushing up his glasses. Nariko smiles brightly and skips after Tenya with a grin.
"Say Iida-kun, would you ever agree on being a scapegoat? Hypothetically, of course!" The yellow haired teenager asks curiously with an innocent smile.
"Hey! Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescence that you all love, the UA Sports Festival is about to begin! Everybody, are you ready?!" Present Mic's voice reverberates throughout the entire stadium. Nariko flinches heavily, covering her ears from the sudden loudness.
"Holy fuck..." Nariko says with a frown, glaring through the open entrance.
Tōru takes a step closer. "Nari-chan, are you alright?"
"It's time for the students to enter the first-year stage!" Present Mic exclaims brightly. The stadium cheers loudly, making Nariko flinch again.
"I-I don't like sudden loud sounds. I'm fine..." She says quietly before taking a deep breath. She lowers her hands and gives Tōru a bright smile.
"The UA Sports Festival! The huge battle where fledgling heroes sharpen their swords once a year! Anyways, these are the guys, right?! The miraculous news stars who overcame enemy attacks with their hearts of steel!" Class 1-A step out into the arena, the audience cheering loudly. "The Hero Course, Class 1-A, right?!"
"The-there's so many p-people..." Izuku stutters out in terror. Nariko hums calmly, smiling brightly while she looks around.
"Will we be able to give our best performance being watched by so many people? This is also part of the training required to become a hero," Tenya questions to himself.
"We'll definitely be fine. You have me," Nariko states jokingly.
"Man, he's going overboard with the praise. I'm getting nervous!" Eijirō states quietly, sweating slightly.
"Not everyone can survive a premeditated villain attack, ya know," Nariko points out, turning around to walk backwards while she faces Eijirō.
"They haven't been getting as much airtime, but this class is also full of talent! Hero Course, Class 1-B!" Nariko winces slightly at how much quieter the cheering became when the other Hero Course class enters the arena. She ignores the jealousy practically radiating off of Class 1-B by not even looking at them.
"We got some jealous bitches to our right. Want me to hold 'em down while you beat the shit outta them?" Nariko suggests with a quiet smile towards Katsuki.
He snorts before quickly stifling his laugh and gives Nariko a small glare. "Like I'd need your fucking help with keeping the bitches still." Nariko grins cheekily.
"Well, I'll secure you an alibi then! Can't have someone as cute as you get caught," The yellow haired teenager teases, ears turning pink.
"Next, General Studies classes, Class 1-C, 1-D, 1-E! Support Course, Classes 1-F, 1-G, and 1-H are here too! And Business Course, Classes 1-I, 1-J, 1-K! All of UA's first years are here now!" Present Mic exclaims brightly. Nariko grins brightly when she spots Hitoshi before jumping up and down with her hand waving.
"Shinsō-kun! Hi!" Hitoshi purposely ignores her, making her pout. "Shinsō-kun! Hold on, I'll be right back."
"Nope. Save your spontaneous nature for the actual festival," Hanta says as he wraps an arm around Nariko's waist. She tries and fails to get out of his grip, turning her head to glare at him.
"Don't carry me like a fuckin' doll, Han!" She whines when Hanta lifts her up easily and starts carrying her like she was a doll.
"Nanna Nazaré will be livid with you if she finds out you're this light." The black haired teenager narrows his eyes at Nariko. "How much have you been eating?"
Nariko rolls her eyes. "Now's not the time for this. Lunch Rush-Sensei already has this argument with me a couple times a week."
"Time for the player pledge!" The sultry voice of Midnight echoes throughout the stadium as the voluptuous woman raises her whip. Nariko stifles a laugh and glances up at her tense cousin.
"Someone has a crush~" Nariko teases, making Hanta glare at her with pink cheeks.
"No I don't! How can I–Midnight-Sensei is wearing that!" Hanta defends himself with a flushed scowl. Nariko giggles, not bothered that she was still being carried.
"Quiet, everyone!" Midnight brings down her whip dramatically. "Representing the students is Kaminari Nariko of Class 1-A!"
"Wait. What?" Nariko states with wide eyes.
"No. Don't you dare, Han–" Hanta releases Nariko and quickly pushes her out of the crowd.
"You won't be safe from my pranks if I find out you've had somethin' to do with this!" She hisses in slight irritation before putting on a bright grin and starts walking up the raised podium.
The yellow haired teenager takes in a deep breath to relax her nerves. "This can't... It should've been Bitchy Pomeranian, he got first in the entrance exams... What the fuck is Nezu-Sensei playing at?"
