Dunsparce519-This seems to be working out pretty nicely. With Staci, Leonard and Beardo out of the picture, it'll be tricky seeing who'll get cut first.

Vito being a separate character is a bit of a surprise to me, but I can roll with it. And I can see Max's changes already. But my biggest hope is for Rodney. I think he's the guy from the gen 3 cast that has the most potential, besides Beardo, of course.

All in all, I can't wait to see how this story will unfold.

Me- That's another reason I didn't include those three. Instead of just like "Oh Staci first boot, easy and done." I really gotta sit here and think of who to boot first.

Yeah I just figured I could take advantage of this being a rewrite and add a few changes here and there. I'm glad you see the changes with Max. I was trying to show that he's a more competent villain and not just dumb annoying guy who thinks he's evil. As for Rodney, I can guarantee he's not just gonna be an unfunny gag for the entire story.

amit. avrashmi- Well it looks cool also, I like Manitoba and Svetlana more than vito but that just my opinion but could be cool if instead of mpd all the other personalities Chester excluded are siblings, Svetlana maybe their cousin because she is Russian and Chester is their grandpa

Cody Fanatic- Uh the teams are kinda uneven. I counted eleven from Pahkitew and thirteen from Revenge though it was probably meant to be twelve since you said you cut Mike out. Anyway I think you forgot to mention someone from Pahkitew.

Nice to see you back, and with an interesting idea. I like the PI vs. ROTI stories a lot, so let's jump into it.

Even if I like all the characters, I understand some characters prefer a smaller cast, so I will not discuss the decision of taking out Staci, Leonard, and Beardo again. Putting each gen in their own teams is a classic movie.

I like the intro, the mix of PI and ROTI introductions making them swim toward the island, and giving the winners the best cabins (I wonder if the cabin will survive the first challenge? )

The ROTI cast is interesting, Jo showed her fangs a little, Vito instead of Mike is weird but interesting and will change the dynamic with both Anne Maria and Zoey completely. And Dakota with the streaming felt a little more updated to the times, but also more annoying.

The PI team, I'm worried for Dave because he seems to be the odd one out. I like Rodney's more straightforward attitude but still being himself. And Max was hilarious as usual. Also Sky's competitive attitude toward Lighting was something I love about the Cree girl, and we don't see it often in fics.

All in all will be an interesting story. I'm really curious who will go first. I think it will be a PI but let's find out.

Me- I thought Vito would bring a new interesting dynamic to the team.

I'm glad someone noticed the modern version of Dakota I was trying to go for. I thought it'd be fun to make her like an annoying social media influencer lol.

Sky's competitive nature is fun to write. Now that you mention it a lot of fics usually portray Sky as calm and passive. Which she is but her competitiveness is underutilized.

"I should've stayed home.." Cameron said as he gulped

"Shhhh!" Topher said "The host is trying to talk."

"Thank you Topher." Chris said "Now both teams will receive an item to help them cut the totem poles down."

Chef was jumping on a trampoline, holding a hacksaw.

"The Mutant Maggots get a trampoline." Chris said "And the Rats get a hacksaw."

Chef slipped and fell off the trampoline. Jo and Sugar laughed at Chef. But he got up and threw both items at them. And their laughter was soon replaced with groans of pain.

"Once you manage to get them down. Race them down the forest and back to the campgrounds." Chris said "The first team to make it there and diffuse their bomb shall win."

"Bombs?" Jasmine asked "What's the deal with you and explosives?"

" I did say I was gonna start off this season with a bang." Chris said "Producers just didn't know I meant it literally. Anyways your challenge starts... NOW!"

Chris flew away on his jetpack.

"Let's sha-do this!" Lightning said

Lightning jumped on the trampoline and tried to reach for the totem pole. But he fell back down to the ground with a loud thud.

" Okay if Lightnings hits the center of the trampoline with fifty pounds of pressure per square inch-" Cameron said before he was interrupted

Anne Maria shoved Cameron as she prepared to jump.

"Back off, I want a crack at this." Anne Maria said

"But I calculated for Lightning's weight!" Cameron responded

Anne Maria didn't listen as she jumped on the trampoline and flew up to the bottom of the totem pole as she came right back down. This process repeated itself until Jo kicked the trampoline away and Anne Maria fell onto the ground.

"Anne Maria's Confessional"

"Sure I wanna win a million dollars. But not at the expense of my looks."

" I mean look at me! Perfect hair, perfect tan. All of this is a worth a billion, easy."

"How are we gonna get up there with just a hacksaw?" Dave asked

"I say we cut down the tree the totem pole is attached to." Rodney said "Problem solved."

Rodney kneeled down and tried cutting the tree with the hacksaw.

" That's gonna take forever mate." Jasmine said "There's gotta be a faster way to do this."

" Just trust me okay? I'm the leader of this team and I know this will work."

...

"What?" Jasmine asked as she was now confused "We never decided on a leader."

"Well I am the biggest and the strongest here." Rodney said confidently " I thought it'd only make sense that I'd lead this team."

"Jasmine's Confessional"

"What's the deal with that farm boy? You can't just waltz in and declare that you're in charge. No matter how big and tough you are."

" Look we'll put it to a vote." Jasmine said "Raise your hand if you want Rodney to be in charge."

No one raised their hand except for Rodney.

"You can't vote for yourself." Sky said "That's just tacky."

Rodney put his hand down and mumbled something under his breath.

"Alright now your raise your hand if you just want to work things out as a team and not just have one person call the shots."

Everyone raised their hand except for Rodney.

" Looks like democracy has spoken mate." Jasmine said "Anyone got any ideas?"

Samey raised her hand up slowly.

"If you got something to say then just bark it out."

" Oh.. um.. I was thinking." Samey said "What if we all formed like a human ladder and like climbed on top of each other-"

"Then the smallest person can cut down the totem pole." Amy said before Samey can finish "I'm such a genius."

"Nice one Amy." Jasmine said "I think Rodney's more sturdy than me so he can be at the bottom. Then we just gotta work our way up to the top."

Rodney stood near the totem pole as Jasmine got on top of him.

"I can get used to this.." Rodney said as he smiled

"Zip it." Jasmine said " Sugar can you climb on top of me?"

"I can do it in a country jiffy!"

Sugar climbed on top of Rodney and placed herself on top of Jasmine's shoulders. From there Scarlett got on top of Sugar, Topher got on top of Scarlett, Amy got on top of Topher, Samey got on top of Amy, Shawn got on top of Samey, Dave got on top of Shawn, Sky got on top of Dave.

" Alright it's all up to you Max..." Jasmine said

"Very well then." Max said

Max tried climbing on top of everyone, he struggled as he tried to climb Jasmine. He ended up slipping and grabbed onto her ponytail to avoid falling down.

"Ow! What are you doing?!"

" I'm trying not to fall down you imbecile!"

Jasmine began to lose balance and the whole human ladder came tumbling down. The Toxic Rats groaned as they were now on the ground.

" Told ya we should've went with my plan..." Rodney said

Jasmine facepalmed and sighed. The camera panned over to the Maggots as Cameron was getting Lightning to stand at an exact spot.

"Okay now jump here and you should be able to make it." Cameron said

"Alright!" Lightning said "Thanks little girl."

"I'm a boy..."

Lightning jumped and grabbed onto the totem pole and shimmied his way up to the top.

"So... how do I cut the rope?" Lightning asked

The Maggots thought about what to do and Cameron had an idea. He tossed his glasses up to Lightning who caught them.

"Use my glasses to reflect the sun rays, it'll cut the ropes eventually." Cameron said

"Was that English?" Lightning asked as he scratched his head

Cameron sighed and tried to think of an easier way to explain it.

"Just point my glasses towards the sun."

Lightning did as Cameron said and the sun rays bounced off the glasses and onto the ropes.

"Nice work Cam." Zoey said

"Thanks Zoey!"

"Where's my pat on the back?" Lightning asked "I'm the one doing all the hard work here."

"Oh... um... good job Lightning?" Zoey said awkwardly

"Sha-biggity bam!"

Lightning finally managed to burn the ropes and the totem pole fell down. The Maggots quickly took the totem pole and began to push it.

" The other team has their totem pole down!" Ella said

"Thank you Captain Obvious." Dave said sarcastically

" All the more reason to work harder." Jasmine said "Let's try the human ladder again without Max."

"Hey!" Max said

"Sky do you think you can jump to the top?" Jasmine asked

" I could try." Sky said as she shrugged

" Good enough for me."

Jasmine got on top of Rodney again as the others followed suit. Sky began climbing the human ladder and got on top of Dave. She then lunged at the totem pole and began to climb it until she was at the top.

" You can do it Sky!" Jasmine said

Sky nodded as she took the hacksaw out of her pocket and began to cut the ropes. It took less time than it did for the Maggots and the totem pole fell after a couple of seconds. Most of the Toxic Rats cheered for Sky.

"Scarlett's Confessional"

"Sky has had two great performances in challenges so far. If we lose, I might try to convince the others to vote for her."

The Maggots managed to push the totem pole onto the lake and were making their way to the waterfall.

"We got this challenge in the sha-bag!" Lightning said confidently "Those Rats will never catch up."

B tapped Lightning's shoulder and pointed behind him. Lightning turned around and saw the Rats pushing their totem pole onto the lake.

"Are you sha-kidding me?!"

" Sorry to interrupt your chat." Brick said "But it's my duty to inform you we have bigger problems."

The Mutant Maggots made it through the waterfall and screamed as they fell onto the forest and began sliding through the woodlands back to the campgrounds.

"Man we ain't ever gonna catch up to them!" Sugar said

" I'm sure as long as we believe in ourselves, we can do anything!" Ella said

"Quit your shounen anime protagonist shennanigans." Max said "Just wait until were close enough to the Maggots and I'll take care of it."

The Rats made it through the waterfall and were now sliding through the forest. Max dug around in his backpack and pulled out a bomb. The others gasped as Jasmine swiped the bomb away from Max.

" I wanna win but we are not throwing a bomb at them." Jasmine said

" It's just a stink bomb." Max said "One whiff of it and the Maggots are sure to lose their concentration."

" If it's just a stink bomb then that's okay." Rodney said as he took the bomb from Jasmine.

He threw at it the Maggots. It landed on top of Anne Maria's poof.

"Ayo you got something in your hair." Vito said

"Crap." Anne Maria said "Can you get it for me?"

Vito tried touching the stink bomb and it went off immediately. A green cloud of gas surrounded the Maggots as they began to cough. The Toxic Rats took advantage of this and moved on ahead.

" That was not cool!" Sky said "A dishonest win isn't a win!"

" Relax." Max said "You know how the saying goes. Cheaters always prosper."

" I thought it was cheaters never prosper." Ella said

"Nobody asked you!"

The Mutant Maggots managed to catch up to the Toxic Rats and leaned to the left. Bumping their totem pole onto the other one. The Toxic Rats began to lose control as their totem pole went off course.

"Consider that payback for the stink bomb." Jo said

The Mutant Maggots were reaching the campsite and began to lean forward. Meanwhile Chef and Chris were near the cabins, relaxing on two lawn chairs as a classic competitor ran over to greet them.

" Chris! Chef!" Owen said " The craziest thing happened! The boat wouldn't stop."

" Oh look it's classic competitor Owen." Chris said "Who isn't competing this year."

"Yeah so-" Owen said "Wait not competing?! Why?"

"You and all the other classic competitors are starting to bore me." Chris said "We needed to switch things up this year."

"Say it ain't so!"

"I'm afraid it is." Chris said "Now leave before I have Chef escort you out."

Owen got on his knees and began to beg.

"Please! Please! Please let me stay!" Owen said "This show is the only thing I have going for me! My family's broke and I dropped out of high school. I don't have anything else to do with my life..."

Some tears fell down Owen's face as Chris and Chef just stood there.

"Well this is awkward." Chef said

"Umm.. if you want you can be an intern." Chris said

"Really?!" Owen said as he looked at Chris

"Yeah though you won't be paid." Chris said "That money goes toward getting me a hot tub."

" I'll do it!" Owen said happily

Owen grabbed Chris and Chef pulled them into a hug. Chris and Chef tried grasping for air.

"O-Owen you're crushing us.." Chris said

"Oh sorry." Owen said as he let them go

" Chef will show you to the interns cabin and have you sign some paperwork." Chris said "You'll be starting tomorrow okay?"

"Yes sir!" Owen said as he saluted

Chef dragged Owen away as Chris sat back down on his lawn chair. The Mutant Maggots came flying in too fast. They jumped off the totem pole as it crashed into the Spa Hotel. The timer for the bomb went off as the totem exploded along with the Spa Hotel.

"D-Did we win?" Sam asked as he stood up

" You were the first to arrive but you didn't de-activate your bombs so... no." Chris said

Just then the Toxic Rats arrived on there totem pole and hopped down. Scarlett ran over to the bomb and saw three wires. She tried to think of which wire to cut. The Rats stood there anxiously as Max stepped forward.

"We don't have all day!" Max said "Just cut the blue wire! That always works in the movies."

Max took the hacksaw and used it to cut the blue wire. After a couple of seconds the beeping stopped. The Rats let out a sigh of relief as Max stood there smugly.

"The Toxic Rats win today's challenge!" Chris said " Though it came with a cost."

Chris pointed to the now destroyed Spa Hotel as The Toxic Rats stopped smiling.

" W-What happened?" Amy asked

"The Maggots accidentally blew it up." Chris said "But don't worry, you'll still have a place to sleep."

An intern came by on a helicopter and dropped off a cruddy cabin.

"Does it at least have a hot tub?" Sugar asked

"Nope it's just a regular cruddy cabin." Chris said

"Nooooooo!" Sugar yelled as she dropped her to knees "I never got to pee in the hot tub!"

...

"And on that very weird note." Chris said "Mutant Maggots you will be elimination somebody today. Meet me at the campfire pit in a hour."

Chris walked away as the Mutant Maggots all looked at each other. Knowing they'd be losing a member.

"Lightning's Confessional"

"That was pathetic! The whole team should get the sha-boot after today's performance."

"Dawn's Confessional"

"Deciding who to vote for is going to be tough. But I believe Mother Nature will guide me to the right path."

First and foremost the Maggots stood outside the communal washrooms to wash off the smell from Max's stink bomb. As they were waiting in line, some used this opportunity to talk strategy.

"Hey helmet hair." Jo said "Who are you voting for?"

" I don't know." Anne Maria said as she shrugged " I might be shallow and just vote for the guy who I find the least attractive."

"That's dumb." Jo said as she scoffed "We need to lose dead weight if we wanna win these challenges. You should join me in voting off Daddy's Girl."

" Dakota?" Anne Maria asked " I like her. Why would I vote for her?"

"Not only is she usless, she's filthy rich. She doesn't need a million dollars like the rest of us."

" We've only been here for like a day and you're acting like you know everything about her. " Anne Maria said " I'll vote my way and you vote your way. Capiche?"

"Fine whatever..."

"Jo's Confessional"

"Getting people to vote my way is harder than I thought."

Vito, Sam, and B finished taking their showers and headed to the Mess Hall for dinner. They all sat down at a table together.

"Ayo Chef!" Vito called out "Can we order a pizza?"

A knife came flying out the kitchen as Vito ducked. It ended up hitting the wall.

"You wanna do something Chef?" Vito said as he got up and cracked his knuckles

B grabbed Vito by the shoulders and sat him down.

" What? He started it."

The three guys were quickly joined by Scott. They all covered their noses as he sat down.

"Dude did you take a shower?" Sam asked

"I'm not really the showering type." Scott said "I wanted to talk to you about tonight's vote."

" The only person I know I'm not voting for is Anne Maria." Vito said "She's a total hottie."

B dug around in his pockets and pulled out a picture of Dakota.

" I take it that means you're voting for Dakota?" Scott asked

B nodded his head.

" But why?" Sam asked "She's hot."

"Are you here to win a million dollars or thirst after hot girls?" Scott asked

"Uhhhh..." Sam said as he struggled to come up with an answer

Dakota walked into the Mess Hall with her phone.

"Ooh the lighting is just perfect here!" Dakota said

She set her phone down at a table, took a few steps back and started dancing. The other four guys stared at her, not sure what to make of this. Chef ran out the kitchen and started dancing with Dakota.

"Gotta get my TokTik followers up." Chef said

"Dakota's Confessional"

" I'm like having so much fun so far!"

"I don't know who to vote for though..."

Dakota shrugged.

"Eh it probably won't matter."

Some time had passed as Chris used the loudspeaker to alert the Mutant Maggots it was time for an elimination ceremony. They all walked to the campfire pit and sat down as Chris stood before them, holding a tray of marshmallows.

"Welcome Maggots to the very first elimination ceremony of the season." Chris said " In a moment you will all vote and one of your fates shall be sealed. Before I do wanted to reveal something that will shake up the game."

Chris held up a photo of a wooden carving of his head.

"This is the immunity idol, hidden somewhere on this island." Chris said "Find it and you can use it to stay in the game. Even if your teammates vote you off... Is the cleft on my chin really that big?"

"Yep." Scott said "And it looks like a butt."

Chris frowned at Scott's comment.

"It's time to vote." Chris said

"B's Confessional"

B silently wrote someone's name down on a piece of paper and exited the confessional.

"The votes are in." Chris said "If I call your name that means you're safe... for now.

"Anne Maria!"

"B!"

"Dawn!"

"Lightning!"

"Sam!"

"Scott!"

"Vito!"

"and Zoey!"

Everyone whose name was called went up to retrieve a marshmallow.

"Dakota, Cameron and Jo you're all on the chopping block." Chris said " Cameron you're not that strong in challenges. Could you end up being a hindrance to your team?"

" At least I tried..." Cameron said as he sighed

" Jo you're bossy attitude may be rubbing people the wrong way and Dakota-" Chris said "Are you livestreaming right now?!"

Dakota was holding up her phone as she turned towards Chris.

"You said I couldn't use my phone during challenges. This isn't a challenge."

Chris walked over and snatched Dakota's phone.

"You got issues dude." Chris said "Anyways the player going home is..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Dakota!"

Cameron and Jo happily ran up to collect their marshmallows. Dakota audibly gasped as she stood up.

"What? Me? I thought everyone liked me!" Dakota said

" Think again." Scott said as he sneered at her

" I can't leave yet! I need more screentime so I can get my spinoff series!"

"If you're lucky we might do another Playa De Losers episode." Chris said as he snapped his fingers

Chef walked over and dragged Dakota across the Dock of Shame.

Dakota sat in a giant catapult as Chris and her former teammates were there.

"So if we get eliminated we get hurled in a giant catapult?" Cameron asked "Wouldn't we die upon landing?"

" Not if I give her a helmet." Chris said

Chris put a helmet on Dakota.

"Ew it doesn't even match with my outfit." Dakota whined

"I'd be more worried about flying off into the night sky if I were you." Chris said "Any final words?"

"Yes." Dakota said "First of all-"

Chef flinged the switch and the catapult went off and Dakota was sent flying.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!" Dakota screamed

The Mutant Maggots watched her fly away.

" One hurl down and twenty three to go." Chris said " Who will be next to ride the catapult? Stay tuned to find out on TOTAL DRAMA ABSOLUTE REVENGE!"

With the obvious filler gone. It was a bit of a challenge deciding who to make the first boot. I ultimately decided on Dakota since I'll probably bring her back as an intern anyways.
