"I told you I would find you, didn't I?" A man wearing slightly shabby clothes questioned. He had short dark hair, mild stubble and blue-green eyes. He seemed to be talking to himself, but in fact...
"Yes, you did, but you took your sweet time!" A deep, demonic voice retorted from within his mind.
The man started walk down the sidewalk, whispering, "Hey, I'm sorry! But you WERE taken by A.I.M.! I wasn't getting you out of there on my own. Without you, I'm just Eddie Brock."
"But you were confident that I would escape on my own," The voice said, rather than asked.
"Well, as you "humbly said", you're smart enough," Eddie retorted.
"You're confidence in me is touching," The voice replied with sarcasm.
Eddie scoffed as he went down a dark alley, "You see what I've found out in the last couple of weeks you were gone?"
"Definitely," The same large black creature that escaped from A.I.M. along with Peter's clones emerged from Eddie's body, covering him completely. It used it's claws to climb up a building to a rooftop, and overlooked the city.
"Cletus Kasady is here, somewhere."
