Months later after the incident, Nina Azarova was shown to an office up a spiral staircase, Hap was patiently waiting for this discussion. But it was Prairie. Hap could see it in her eyes, she remembered every minutes of their life in the other dimension. Both of them tried to put in common what they recalled from their jump. But why Homer did not remembered Prairie was a mystery. As much as Emily who did not remember Hap.

Later that day, Hap was on the balcony outside his office, talking on the phone. He hung up when Homer came and joined him. He sedated Nina when she left his office earlier that day, and felt bad for it.

"Yes, Homer. Speak."

"I made a mistake this morning. I sedated Ms Azarova because I was worried about her disturbing the other patients. I don't believe in medicating a patient who is obviously traumatized by it."

"That was your choice, and you should have faith in yourself."

"I don't like isolation as punishment. It- It feels penal, not medical. Honestly, I've been more of a prison guard than a doctor the last two months."

"So you're criticizing my methods?"

"Of course not."

"Why don't you take over her treatment? Unless you have reservations."

"No. No. No, it's not that. It's just I assumed you'd be handling it."

"Well, Nina thinks I'm some kind of irredeemable monster. I'm making no progress. She thinks that you're.."

"That I'm her soulmate."

"That kind of transference can be useful."

"So follow her lead. In particular, find out how she thinks she got here from this other dimension. The others say that we all arrived together. She thinks she came some other way. Now, that anomaly could be the key to healing her psychosis."

"There is not a single case of shared psychotic disorder among complete strangers. Not one."

"Until now. Let's make history together, Dr. Roberts."

"Am I interrupting?" Emily said as she walked toward both of them.

"Hey Em!" Homer said to her friend. "Thanks Dr. Percy, I'll see you tomorrow," and left.

"What are you doing here?" Hap said, happily surprised to see her.

"I was waiting for you at the restaurant and since you did not answer my calls or texts, I knew you were still working. So I came to surprise you with the take out sushi instead of eating by myself. You hungry?" she said pointing toward his desk where she dropped the white bag of food.

"Come here," Hap said as he took her in his arms. He could not settle his mind around how much in love they were. He had even started to believe he was truly in love. This dimension was even better than what he could imagine.

She rested her back against his chest, his arms wrapped around her as they looked at the sunset colors fading away into darkness. She shivered even against the warmth of his body and he showed her inside. They ate and Hap confided in her about the shared psychosis theory. She was still a brilliant psychiatrist, even if she was now working in the penal system. She could still not believe this theory, but was hoping to know more as he will work with those patients.

She then sat on the edge of his desk, right next to him and slowly lifted her skirt. Her shoe felt off and she moved her feet between his legs slowly. Gosh, that woman was needy, he thought. But he could not resist her in any way. He stood up as his hands ran over the soft skin of her tights, opening her legs and settling in between them. He lowered his head to kiss his beautiful wife. Their kiss was passionate, tongue twisting as his hands caressed her body. She caressed his bulge though the fabric of his pant before she unbuckled his trouser. His fingers made their way to the wet lace of her undergarment. He pushed her panties aside, slipping two fingers inside her. She moaned as she grabbed the back of his neck.

"Em, you must to be quiet," he said as he positioned his cock right at her soaking wet fold.

"I will. I want you, Hun," she whispered right before he entered her. Gosh she felt good. She bit her lower lip as his hips moved faster in and out. When he felt her back arch, he knew she was close. His hands caressed her tights before resting on her buttocks, dragging her closer to him. He felt her contractions around him and he put his hand over her mouth as she came, while she dug her fingers in his shoulders and back.

"We should go back home, don't you think? I know just what we could do," he said as he buckled back his trousers, grinning.

They went down the staircase, and he leaded her through those hallways. Even if she had been at the clinic many times, she could never find her way back. Suddenly, she stopped and turned her head toward a particular door. She came closer, looked through the window and pressed her palms on the metal door.

Hap had walked a couple of step ahead when he noticed she wasn't following. His mouth felt open when he realised she was looking straight at Scott. They were looking into each other eyes, until Scott yelled "Rachel, it's Emily!" Emily moved to the next door and looked at Rachel who tried to speak but no sound would come out her mouth.

"Emily, come. We leave now," Hap said firmly. She came toward him grabbing his hand he was handing out. They walked fast as they left the clinic.

Sitting in the car, Emily broke the silence. "Wasn't it weird how those patients looked at me?"

"Yeah, but you know, with mental health patients, you never know what they might think."

"But it was like they knew me."

"Dear, don't let that bother you. Don't think about it anymore."

In his mind, Hap was worried she would suddenly remember everything from their last life together. Although Homer could still not remember a thing, all this was still a mystery to uncover.

The next day, Homer had agreed to let Nina in the general population for the recreation hour after their therapy session. She was hard to understand, not an easy patient. But since Dr. Percy trusted him with this case, he was determined to uncover as much as he could.

He was observing the interaction from a one-way mirror. He could also listen to their conversation. He saw an awkward meeting with Renata, but a much warmer one with Scott and Rachel. He scribbled in his black note book. But then, he heard Scott said the most bizarre thing. He wished he had recorded this interaction to listen it again to make sure his mind wasn't playing tricks on him. Could he be right?

"OA, I saw Emily last night, with Hap," Scott said with the most serious face.

"She is a patient here? Where is she?" OA asked.

"No, I think she was with Hap, you know, like they are together. Once again, even here, he has her by his side. He took by the hand when they left. And I'm not sure I saw a ring on her finger." Scott, Rachel and Nina turned around and look straight at the one-way mirror.

Homer felt a shiver get down his spine. Did Scott really say he saw Emily last night? How could he know her? This psychosis was getting bigger and bigger. This could really be a breakthrough in his career if he and Dr. Percy could uncover this case.
