Somewhere in the darkness were 3 individuals: a short old woman, a muscular man, and a topless blonde like in the spirit photo Joseph Joestar took-Dio himself!

"At that time, I was very weak" he started. "Just having a head made me vulnerable. If I had not taken Jonathan Joestar's body! If it hadn't been for what little energy he had to augment my own limited source, I couldn't have survived at the bottom of that ocean for 100 years. But still, this body has a bond-like that between a parent and a child. It ties me to his kin."

"What concerns you, my lord?" the old woman spoke.

"Jonathan's descendants. They seem to be aware of my existence, and of the power I gained from taking his body-the Stand! It is the Stand that reaches out to the bodies of his descendants."

"Every situation has advantages and disadvantages-they are two sides of the same coin. But rest assured Lord Dio, I have already made the necessary arrangements for their demise!"

The old woman's laugh could then be heard throughout the darkness.

Meanwhile in Japan, Jotaro was about to leave for school when he's stopped by Holly. She sprinted to her son along with Shoko as the latter finished getting ready.

"Don't leave yet Jotaro" Holly called. "You forgot something important, silly boy. Here's your goodbye kiss!"

And she kisses both of her children on the cheek, and her oldest was not happy about it and even shooed her away with his hand.

"You're such a bitch, stop clinging to me like I'm still a little kid!"

Before leaving with her brother, Shoko cheered her mom up by hugging her and waving goodbye.

"Bye Mom."

"Okay~! Have a nice day!" Holly cheered.

As she catches up to Jotaro, Shoko clings to him by wrapping her arms around his.

"What a giant pain in my ass…" Jotaro mumbled to himself.

As the siblings make their way to school, they hear a bunch of girls who undoubtedly are from their school.

"Hey look, it's Jojo!"

"What, Jojo?"

"You're right, it is Jojo!"

"Jojo!"

"Jojo!"

"Oh, good morning Shojo!"

One by one, the girls are greeting Jotaro and Shoko as they try to get closer to the former. The latter greets her seniors before running ahead to steer clear of her brother's groupies. Such is the routine for the Kujo siblings since Jotaro is considered a heartthrob for his bad boy charms and his "exotic" good looks due to his dual ethnicity. And Shoko was uncomfortable with all the girls at school fawning over her brother because she doesn't really see the charms behind someone who is easily annoyed by their excessive chatting that they have to shut them up by yelling at them. Not to mention they only seem to be friendly to her just to get close to him.

Just then, a short-haired girl in Jotaro's unofficial fan club hooks her arm around his, much to the surprise of her fellow groupies.

"So, where've you been Jojo? You haven't been to school for 4 days."

Jotaro merely glares at her, but this makes her blush before she's abruptly pushed away by another girl with curly hair.

"Hey! Who do you think you are grabbing onto Jojo like that?! You're acting way too friendly with him, so stay away!" the curly-haired girl argued.

"What the hell, Ugly?!" retorted the short-haired girl.

"I'd be careful there, No-Boobs!" the curly-haired girl rebuked.

As the two girls kept calling each other the same name while following Jotaro, he couldn't take it anymore and snapped at them.

"SHUT UP! YOU'RE FRICKING ANNOYING!"

Unfortunately for him, all the girls including the ones in the verbal catfight end up swooning over him even more.

"He totally said that to me!" squealed the short-haired girl.

"Nuh-uh, me!" argued to curly-haired girl.

Jotaro scoffs at them then walks away, and the groupies follow him to the stone stairway. Shoko, who was just about a few inches ahead of him, covered her ears because she could still hear the bickering and yelling even from a distance. Unbeknownst to any of them, they were being watched from far behind by someone: a young man who appeared to be around Jotaro's age.

He had red hair with a long wavy fringe at the side, amethyst purple eyes, and overall would be considered beautiful with his feminine features and slender yet muscular build. He wore a green slim-fitting high school uniform, dangling red earrings that resembled cherries, and a long white muffler. In his hands, he had a paintbrush with red paint at the tip and a wooden pallet. An easel was in front of him as if he were painting something, and he did: an abstract portrait of Jotaro. He took the paintbrush and painted a red streak across the abstract Jotaro's knee, which seemed to cut the real Jotaro's leg and caused him to lose his footing on the stone steps. As he slipped down the steps and onto the stone pathway, all the girls were screaming in fear.

"Big Bro!" Shoko shouted as she summons her Stand's hand to shoot out the vines to grab her brother's arm. Unfortunately, he's too heavy given his height and build and this causes Shoko to plummet down with him. As they seemed like they would die from hitting the stone pavement, Jotaro spotted some tree branches.

"Hang on!" he shouted to his sister as his Stand's arm shoots out to grab the branches. Shoko hangs on to him for dear life as they make their descent at the bottom of the stairs.

"Jojo! Shojo!"

The groupies hurry down the steps to check on the siblings to see if they're okay.

"You okay?" Jotaro asked his sister.

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay."

Shoko was shaking like a leaf in her brother's arms, but overall was unharmed. She then gasps upon seeing the cut on Jotaro's leg.

"Your leg!"

"It's just a scratch Shoko, no big deal."

"It is, too, a big deal if you fell and nearly died! Now hold still!"

Jotaro was about to protest until he felt a warm sensation from the vines wrapped around his leg as she began healing it.

"Gimme a break…" he mumbled while pulling down his hat.

Did a branch cut open my leg? No, that's not it. This cut's what came first. That's how I fell, I'm sure of it. But how?

Jotaro stands up, interrupting Shoko's healing, as he looks around for the perpetrator. Shoko was about to chastise him until the groupies' voices could be heard coming down the stairs. Above them, the high schooler in green looks down at them.

"Hm, I see he's able to summon a pretty fierce Stand. And his sister's is adept at healing despite the lack of physical strength. I get it now."

Then he tosses the painting into a tree and destroys it with a flick of the brush. Then he tosses it aside.

"It's no wonder he wants them dead. But still, neither of them are a match for the power of my Stand."

Meanwhile, down below, Jotaro's fan girls surround them to ask if he and Shoko are okay.

"W-We're alright, Senpai." Shoko tried to reassure.

"Well, both of you are lucky! A few more inches, and you two would've cracked your heads on the flat stone" the short-haired girl said.

"Nasty accidents happen on those steps all the time" said a girl with straight hair.

"Tomorrow, when going down these steps, let's hold hands Jojo" a girl with wavy hair offered.

The rest of the groupies glare at her for taking advantage of her offer to Jotaro, but she just smugly smirks.

"You can hold my hand, too, Shojo!"

Shoko just felt embarrassed and uncomfortable at the girls' glaring as if they were saying "Don't take her offer!"

Just then, everyone heard footsteps coming from the stairs and turn to see the male high-schooler. Shoko wondered who he was and thought he would be handsome if he didn't intimidate her with his seemingly cold stare.

"Here," he offers Jotaro a handkerchief with a green pattern along the edges. "Your leg seems to be cut. You might want to wrap it up with this handkerchief to help stop the bleeding. Will you be alright?"

"Yeah, it's just a scratch" Jotaro answered as he took the handkerchief. The mysterious young man was about to leave until Jotaro called out to him.

"I forgot to say thanks."

Shoko decided to ask out of curiosity.

"Um, do you go to our school by any chance? I don't remember seeing you before, and the route you're taking usually leads you there."

"I'm Noriaki Kakyoin" he introduced himself. "And yes, I just transferred here yesterday. See you around."

Kakyoin makes his leave, but not before looking Shoko's way and smirking deviously to himself. If Shoko didn't feel intimidated by the transfer student for his generally cold gaze she certainly was now from the way he stared at her. While Jotaro's groupies were busy commenting on Kakyoin and his good looks, Jotaro pulled his sister close to him as they both felt uneasy about the events that transpired just now and the transfer student they just met.

When they got to school, the atmosphere got even more tense with the students and staff looking at Jotaro. No surprise considering his reputation as a delinquent for getting into fights with anyone who has the balls to challenge him.

"See you at lunch" said Shoko as she makes her way to class while Jotaro heads to the infirmary.

When she got to class, she is greeted by a beautiful woman with long wavy black hair, expensive looking jewelry, and lots of makeup, and she happens to be the young girl's homeroom teacher.

"Oh Shojo, nice to see you're back. I certainly hope you're feeling better enough to stay for class. Can't have you staying here if you're not at 100%."

"Good morning, Ms. Shiobana" Shoko responded.

Shoko made her way to her seat while everyone in the room stares at her and whispering amongst themselves. Being the younger sister of the infamous delinquent Jotaro Kujo is bound to attract attention, especially considering her appearance. And it certainly didn't help that Shiobana doesn't really like her for that judging from the patronizingly cutesy tone she used when speaking to her out of jealousy. Of course, Shoko wasn't exactly fond of her teacher, either, because she came across as a shallow woman who only seemed interested in flirting and gold-digging than actual teaching. But that was the least of her worries. No matter how hard she tried to pay attention, she still felt the same anxiety from when Kakyoin looked at her earlier because it made her feel vulnerable; like a small prey about to be devoured by a large and fierce predator. Then suddenly, she felt a terrible premonition as though something might happen to her brother.

"Ms. Shiobana, I'm sorry but I guess I'm still not feeling so well. May I go to the nurse's office?"

"Oh?" the teacher responded. "I guess you're still not at 100%... Well, there's no helping if you don't feel good. Just be sure to be back soon, 'kay?"

With her momentarily dismissed, Shoko immediately sprints to the nurse's office when she encounters two punks running and screaming in terror, one of them clutching their apparently bleeding eye.

"Shojo!? What're you doing here?! The punk covering his eye asked.

"D-Don't go in there! The doctor's gone crazy!" the other punk said.

"What?! What happened?" Shoko asked.

"F-For some reason, the doctor was waving around a pen saying it was a thermometer. We wanted to convince her that we had a cold so we could get out of school early to mess around, but she wouldn't let us leave, then Jojo showed up with a cut on his leg. When he was taking off his pants so the doctor wouldn't have to cut them with the scissors, she suddenly started flipping out. When we told her she had a pen in her hands, she snapped and stabbed my eye!" the bloody-eyed punk explained.

"We won't try to play hooky for as long as we live, just someone please help us!" begged the other punk as if he were praying to God.

"You two go get a teacher now!" Shoko demanded as she ran in the direction of the infirmary, leaving her senpais confused.

This may be caused by a Stand. I'm sorry I can't explain the situation, but neither of you can see Stands and I don't want either of you stopping me from whatever Stand is making the doctor act this way…

In the infirmary, Jotaro was struggling to hold the school's doctor back from completely stabbing him with the same pen she used to gouge that punk's eye out as it was already embedded in his cheek.

"Dammit, how is she so strong? This is no mere woman's strength!"

Just then, golden vines shot out and grabbed the nurse's arm and pulled her far enough to pull out the pen from the giant high schooler's face. He later heard running footsteps from just outside the nurse's office.

"Big Bro!"

Shoko was catching her breath, her expression full of panic and concern.

"Shoko!" Jotaro yelled. "What the hell are you doing here?! Get out of here, it's dangerous!"

"Sho… jo…"

Shoko flinched at the tone in the doctor's voice. It was low and menacing compared to the usually polite and cheerful tone she had. Her eyes were glazed over and unfocused, and she was foaming at the mouth while her expression was twisted and looked animalistic. And her movements were off, too, almost like a puppet being roughly pulled by its strings, while her coat just hung off one shoulder.

"Be a dear… and get it through… Jojo's skull… that the thermometer… I'm holding… is… not. A. PEN!"

Shoko was so frozen with fear that her Stand lost its grip on the nurse, who tried to stab Shoko if not for her brother grabbing hold of the crazed medical staff. This snapped Shoko out of her frightened stupor and allowed her to reinforce her hold on the doctor before she could stab Jotaro again while he held her underneath her arms.

"Doctor, please stop!" she pleaded. "What's gotten into you?!"

As Jotaro was struggling to hold the doctor back even with the help of his sister's Stand, he came to a horrifying revelation.

"There was something green crawling up the floor and up her leg earlier, and it was probably a Stand."

"What, something green?"

"Yeah. And this is just a hunch, but… no, it wasn't a hunch because of the note I found inside this!"

Then Jotaro threw the handkerchief to Shoko, who opened it and gasped in horror at the note she found written inside it.

Jotaro Kujo,

Today I will kill you and your sister with my Stand!

-Noriaki Kakyoin

"So you're saying Noriaki Kakyoin was the one who cut your leg when going down the steps!? And with his Stand!?"

Just then, the siblings heard a man chuckling and immediately turn towards the window to see Kakyoin perched there, a wooden marionette in hand.

"Indeed, it was I who cut your leg Jojo" he confirmed.

"Y-You bastard!" Jotaro growled.

"And so, we meet again. That doctor is under my Stand's control and if either of you attack it, you'll end up hurting her."

"J-Just who are you really?!" Shoko asked.

"I already told you; my name is Noriaki Kakyoin, and my Stand's name is Hierophant Green. Like your grandfather Joseph and your friend Avdol, I am human. However, I have pledged my loyalty to him."

It didn't take even a second to realize who he was talking about considering their grandfather's story yesterday.

"D-Dio…" Shoko presumed.

"Precisely" Kakyoin responded. "That's why… I'm going to kill you!"

Kakyoin then pulled the string for his puppet's hand and shortly released it. As if she were controlled by the puppet as well, the doctor escaped Jotaro's and Shoko's Stand's grasp to lunge at the latter's user to stab her. Luckily, Shoko was able to move out of the way in time and used her Stand to bind her again. As she subdued the doctor-turned-puppet, the younger Kujo saw something looking like a pair of glowing eyes from the possessed doctor's mouth and down her throat which could've been their assailant's Stand.

"It's in her throat!" she shouted.

Jotaro grabbed the doctor and pulled her towards him in a rough kiss. During the lip lock, a small crunching sound was emitted and Jotaro's Stand appeared while grabbing a green alien-looking creature, which must be Hierophant Green, by the teeth and pulling it out of the doctor's throat and mouth. Kakyoin was shocked while Shoko sighed a breath of relief as she caught the doctor in her arms.

"I have no intention of harming her" Jotaro proclaimed. "Now that I pulled it out, I see that it's just a lameass Stand that's only good at possessing people."

The purple Stand bites Hierophant Green head with more pressure, causing Kakyoin to feel the same pain. Then he grabs hold of the green Stand's head and throat.

"So that's Kakyoin's Stand?" wondered Shoko as she lays the unconscious doctor on one of the beds.

The color and stripes kinda make it look like a shiny green melon.

"You're going to regret pulling that out of her, Jojo!" Kakyoin growls, but then has a finger mark embedded in the skin of his forehead.

"Don't act tough, I can clearly see my finger marks on your forehead." Jotaro rebuked as he spits out blood. "If I crush your Stand's head like a melon, then it looks like the same thing will happen to you."

Hierophant Green's head is squeezed with even more force by Jotaro's Stand.

"I'll just keep a grip on you for a while. We're going to see my grandfather, and I'm sure he'll be thrilled to see you. In fact, I'd like to know more about Dio myself."

Shoko nodded in full agreement to that plan.

If we keep him alive, there's a chance he may know where Dio is and what powers his Stand has. Then we may be able to take care of him before he causes any harm to our family.

Just then, the window doors close and a green substance is leaking from Hierophant's hands.

"What the-!?" Shoko exclaimed.

"What's this green liquid coming out of its hands?!" Jotaro exclaimed.

"I told you before, didn't I Jojo?" Kakyoin said. "That you're going to regret this."

At that moment, the puppet is standing straight with its hands looking like it's about to summon a very powerful attack, Hierophant posed the same way.

"Now, behold my Hierophant Green's attack!"

"Shoko, you need to bring out your Stand to defend yourself now!" demanded Jotaro.

Preparing for the worst, Shoko does as she's told while shielding the doctor with her own body. The green liquid from Hierophant Green's hands burst to reveal green gemstones that are fired directly at Jotaro and his Stand.

"Emerald Splash!"

Even as Jotaro's Stand keeps its guard up, one of the stones hits it in the chest, and both Stand and user are knocked back into the door frame of the exit, destroying part of it. The impact from the attack made Jotaro cough up blood as he lays on the floor.

"Big Bro!" Shoko cried but screamed in pain when one gemstone manages to scratch her Stand's hand, though it feels like the bones in her hand shattered.

After the damage is done, Kakyoin walks over to the beaten down Jotaro, momentarily ignoring Shoko.

"What do you think? Emerald Splash is an attack my Stand Hierophant Green uses to produce what looked like fluids, but in actuality was a vision of destructive energy. And it pierced right through your chest, thus your insides took severe damage, just like hers."

Kakyoin was referring to the doctor as she was struggling to breath before bleeding everywhere and losing consciousness.

"No!" Shoko cried out. "But how?! Jotaro pulled your Stand out of her, unless…!"

"Your assumptions are correct, Shojo" Kakyoin answered in a condescending tone, then he turned his attention to Jotaro. "Like I said, attacking Hierophant Green would mean attacking her. My Stand can travel farther than either of yours but hates open spaces and often prefers to hide in something. If you drag it out, it'll get angry. That's why when you wrenched it from her throat, she was hurt in the process. This is your fault! This is all on you, Jojo! You're responsible for this!"

Then he turned to Shoko.

"And as for you, using your Stand to defend the doctor was a foolish and futile attempt, and look where that's gotten you; a little girl with a hurt hand and whose Stand is only good at healing, her last line of defense down and out. All you had to do was let me kill you and the doctor would've walked away unharmed."

Just then, the golden vines from Shoko's Stand tightly restrained Kakyoin's and Hierophant's arm, and she stood up with a fierce look in her eyes.

"I don't care what you say about me, but I've heard enough of your excuses" Shoko growled. "Sure, my brother gets into fights that leaves some punks in the hospital, he scares away arrogant teachers from coming to school, and he often doesn't pay for any food that he thinks isn't worth the price. But you have NO right to say that it's his fault the doctor or any other innocent person gets hurt! This was all on YOU, Noriaki Kakyoin! YOU'RE the one who attacked us first! YOUR Stand took control of the doctor, and it was also your Stand that hurt her! If you hadn't taken control of her to try to kill us, there's no way the doctor would've gotten hurt in the first place!"

As Shoko breathes raggedly as if she ran a 100-mile marathon, she spots Jotaro struggling to get up. Kakyoin sees this, too, and merely scoffs at him.

"So, you're trying to get up? Hmph, how pathetic, you're just like a sandbag in front of a skilled boxer. Why even bother standing up when I'm just going to knock you down again?"

Ignoring his insult, Jotaro looks at the bleeding nurse, then at his sister keeping a hold on Kakyoin through her Stand, her hand bleeding. That's what sets him off.

"Look, no one ever said Jotaro Kujo was a nice guy, and everything my sister said I did was damn straight true. But even a bastard like me… can spot true evil when he sees it! True evil are those who use the weak for their own gain and crush them underfoot when they're through! Especially innocent women! And that is exactly what you've done, isn't it?! And your Stand gets to hide from the victim, the law, and the consequences! That's why… I will judge you myself!"

"Hmph, I'm evil? See, that's where you're wrong. Evil is always the loser, it's the victor who has justice. The victor being the last one standing, and how you win in battle is irrelevant!"

Hierophant Green unleashes its tentacles to incapacitate both siblings, but Jotaro dodges them. Shoko's Stand's vines were bound by the green tendrils, but more vines from its other hand managed to swat them away like a whip. While the green Stand recoiled from the hit, Jotaro runs towards a table and kicks it towards Kakyoin, who reacted in time for his Stand to catch the table and break it. Then the tentacles bind the older Kujo after he pushed his sister out of the way, rendering him immobile.

"The loser is always the evil one" Kakyoin gloated. "Time to finish you off!"

"Really? The loser's evil?" Jotaro asked.

As Hierophant was about to fire Emerald Splash, Shoko used her Stand to bind its arms and body to prevent the attack.

"If the loser is evil, then there's no doubt about it…" the younger Kujo said.

"What?! How could you have prevented the Emerald Splash?!"

"That's just how 'evil' you are!" Jotaro finished as he broke free from the coils through his Stand.

His Stand immediately grabbed Hierophant by the neck and started wringing it, causing Kakyoin's neck to feel like it's breaking as he coughed up some blood. Then, the punch-happy Stand beat the living daylights out of Hierophant, breaking off some of its face. When Shoko finally let go Hierophant, Jotaro's unnamed Stand tossed it up in the air for one more punch.

"We'll teach you justice..." Shoko declared

"With our Stands!" Jotaro finished.

As the marionette's strings break, Hierophant Green is blasted through the ceiling all the way to the roof of the school. Kakyoin is a bloodied mess by the end of the battle.

"Y-Your Stands have incredible power…" he says before losing consciousness.

Now that their attempted assailant was down, Shoko decided to work on healing the school doctor's injuries.

"You caught me by surprise earlier and scratched its chest a little" Jotaro explained to Kakyoin. "I'm glad my Stand isn't weak, but sometimes it feels like it's getting more savage than I am. That was a close call."

Then he turns to his little sister.

"How're her injuries?"

"I think I'm just about done. If I missed anything, she'll probably be alright with some treatment."

Just then, they hear the fire alarm as well as other people's voices in the halls.

"Come on, we're ditching school today" Jotaro says as he puts the unconscious Kakyoin over his shoulder and grabs Shoko's hand.

"Hey, what about the teachers?" Shoko protested. "Sure, it's no surprise to them if you've skipped classes, but not if I did."

"Don't worry, I got a note of absence written up so they don't bother us while we get this guy to tell us all he knows about Dio" Jotaro explains.

His confused sister looks to see a piece of paper lying next to the now healed up doctor as she follows her brother home with Kakyoin in toll. When the teachers and the principal arrive, all they see is the doctor's office in shambles like a massive earthquake hit it and the doctor's not-so-bloody body on the bed. Beside her was a piece of paper with a note of absence.

Okay, so I read CandyAshes's Star-Crossed Crusaders (only it's the Ace of Cups Remix) and I read the part where one of the teachers is Shiobana, as in Giorno's mother. After that, I couldn't think of any other teacher for Shoko. I was also inspired by that scene in the fic where Hierophant Green was tied up by Hitomi's Stand to prevent him from using Emerald Splash on Jotaro, so I kinda just went with it.
