Summary: What if Kate Todd and Leroy Jethro Gibbs met way before Kate joined the Secret Service and were together for a few months before a big fight broke out, pushing the two away from each other. 20 years later, the two meet again, will they be able to work things out between them? KIBBS all the way! Kate and Kelly live!
Disclaimer: I do not own NCIS, but if I did, Kate would've lived and there would've been WAY more Kibbs. I only own Jake, Jaiden, Layla, Ben, and some other characters who will come in the future chapters.

Once Gibbs and the boys left, Kate came back down the steps with her bag and phone while Kelly was waiting for her in the kitchen.
"Alright, so...We'll grab some breakfast, and then Layla and I will show you around. Is that okay?"
"Fine with me." Kate replied, smiling at the young redhead. The two walked out to see Layla standing on the porch talking to someone.
"Please. Pleaseee. Yay, thank you!" She said with a grin before closing her cell phone and turning around to see Kelly and Kate.
"We have a car!"
"O...kay?"
"Okay, so Dad only has one car...If we're to go around today, we would've walked but...My best friend is lending us his car." Layla said with a smile. Kelly and Kate looked at each other with a smirk before grinning at Layla.
"He?"
Layla glared at the two before a car pulled up. The three turned around to see a handsome boy, around the age of 18 with blonde hair, his eyes blue but with a bit of green in them, and he was about 6'4. Kelly and Kate's jaws dropped while Layla grinned.
"Benny!"
"Hello, Lily." Ben replied with a smile. Layla ran to him and hugged him tightly. Kelly and Kate looked at each other shocked before following Layla off the porch and over to the two friends.
Ben chuckled and let go of Layla before smiling at Kate and Kelly. "You must be Kelly and Kate."
"How have I not met you before?!" Kelly exclaimed as she shook Ben's hand while Layla frowned.
"Kells. Ben and I have been best friends since second grade."
"Oh, wow."
Layla turned to Kate and smiled at her. "Ben, this is Kate. Dad's friend."
Ben smiled at Kate. "L.J. is lucky to have a beautiful woman like you." He took Kate's hand and kissed it. Kate smiled at him.
"Haha, we're just...friends."
Layla, Kelly, and Ben just smirked at each other before walking to the car, leaving Kate behind.
"We are! I swear!"
Kelly giggled before she spoke, "Just get in the car, Katie-Girl." Kate rolled her eyes before chuckling softly and getting in the backseat, sitting next to Kelly.

At NCIS, Gibbs and his two sons walked into Autopsy to see Ducky working on a body. Jake's eyes widened before walking over, intrigued while his brother gagged and stayed behind Gibbs who smirked.
"Ah, Jethro. I was about to...Hello, young man. Where's-" Ducky stopped in his tracks when he saw Jake and Jaiden stand next to Gibbs.
"Jethro...They...Look just like you!" The elderly man exclaimed in surprise.
Gibbs chuckled. "Duck, meet my sons. Jake and Jaiden. Boys, meet Ducky."
"Hi."
"Wow! You work with dead bodies?! Is it cool! I've always wanted to see a dead body. Mom won't let me though." Jake said with a pout before gasping. "It must be fun to see the insides of an actual human being!" Jake exclaimed as he walked towards the body on the cold slab and looked at it with wonder and excitement in his eyes. Ducky raised an eyebrow before smiling at Jake and turning to Gibbs.
"They do look like you, Jethro. But, I must say, I didn't know you had sons, just the two girls. How come you didn't tell me?"
Gibbs opened his mouth to talk but Jaiden beat him to it. "Dad didn't know he had us until Jake surprised him Thursday morning. Mom and I came yesterday." Gibbs looked down at Jaiden who just smiled at him. Gibbs smiled back before looking at Ducky and nodding his head.
"Ah, well. That must've been a very big surprise."
"It was." Gibbs agreed before putting his arm around Jaiden's shoulders. "Duck, will it be okay if-"
"Leave the young boy with me, Jethro. He seems to love my work." Ducky chuckled as he glanced at Jake who was still mesmerized by the body on the slab before he looked at Jaiden. "What about you, my boy? Would you like to stay as well?"
"Oh, no thank you, Sir. I think I'll stick with my Dad for a while." Jaiden said as he tried not to look at the body. Ducky chuckled and nodded.
"Of course. And please, call me "Ducky". No need to be formal."
"O...kay. Ducky." Jaiden said as he smiled at the elderly man. Gibbs smiled before looking up at Jake.
"Jake! Jaiden and I are heading to the bullpen. Stay here with Ducky and do not touch anything."
"Okay, Dad!" Jake called before gasping. "Is that his liver?!"
Jaiden gagged before running out of the room. Gibbs chuckled and started walking out of Autopsy.
"Thank you, Duck!"
"No problem, Jethro."
Gibbs walked over to the elevator and pressed the button, calling it down while he saw Jaiden walking over to him.
"Feelin' better?"
Jaiden nodded. "Much."
Gibbs nodded before the elevator doors opened and the two walked in. He pressed the button for the bullpen's floor and the two stayed silent as the elevator rode up.
"Sorry." Jaiden then said making Gibbs look down at him with a frown.
"...What are you sorry for?"
"Callin' ya "Dad". I haven't been here long and-"
"Don't need to be sorry. You can call me whatever ya want. Hell, you can call me "Jethro" for all I care." Gibbs said making Jaiden chuckle.
"Alright...I'll just stick with "Dad"...If that's alright."
Gibbs smiled at the boy, "Jaiden, as I said. Call me whatever you want." Jaiden grinned at his father before the two walked out when the doors opened.
"Mornin' Boss." Tony and McGee said before looking at Jaiden.
"Morning, Jake."
"Morning, Jaiden."
Tony rolled his eyes. "McBlind, can't you see that it's Jake?"
McGee sighed, "Don't you remember, Tony. Jake has a twin. Jaiden. Like you obviously didn't, I noticed a difference." He replied with a smirk.
Tony glared at McGee. "And what would that be?"
"Jake. Has a scar on his upper lip. Jaiden. Has a cut on his left eyebrow. This one-" McGee points at Jaiden. "-has a cut on his left eyebrow."
Tony frowned and looked at Jaiden who indeed had a cut on his left eyebrow. He rolled his eyes.
"McSmartass." Tony mumbled, returning to his work.
McGee smiled triumphantly as he looked at Jaiden who smiled at him.
"Jaiden. Sit at that empty desk over there." Gibbs said, sitting at his desk as he nodded to the desk next to him. Jaiden nodded and sat on the desk, noticing a few pictures on the desk.
"Lemme guess...This is Ziva?" Jaiden asked, holding up a picture of a woman with brown hair and light brown eyes. All three men looked up and nodded.
"How'd you know?" Tony asked making Jaiden shrugged.
"She looked...Like she's from Israel and "Ziva" is a Hebrew name if I'm correct. It means…"Light of God". So…" He explained as the men looked at him impressed.
"Your mother taught you Hebrew?" Gibbs asked.
Jaiden shook his head. "Mnn-mnn. I have a friend who's from Israel. He taught me some of the meanings of the names. Ziva was his grandmother's sister's name."
"Ahh, that makes sense." McGee said as Gibbs and Tony just nodded their heads. Jaiden just nodded as he looked at the other pictures. He noticed Ziva posing with two other women. One had short black hair in pigtails and the other was a redhead with a pixie cut.
"Is this other women Abby and Jenny?" Jaiden asked, picking up the picture and showing it to Gibbs who looked up and nodded.
"Yep."
"You know. Your father and Jenny used to-" Tony stopped talking when Gibbs shot him a very deadly glare.
Confused, Jaiden looked at Tony. "Used to what?"
"She used to live with me...For a short time while her house was getting renovated." Gibbs lied while shooting daggers with eyes at Tony who hid behind his computer while McGee was hiding his laugh behind an open file in front of his face.
"Oh...Were you two a...thing?"
"No." Gibbs answered before turning to Jaiden. "Run down to Autopsy and grab your brother."
"But, Dad-"
"You two haven't had breakfast and I promised your mother I wouldn't let anything happen to you two. McGee will take the two of you out to grab something to eat and get me some coffee." Gibbs said as McGee stood up, catching the keys Gibbs tossed him while Jaiden got up and walked to the elevator.
"McGee!"
"Yes, Boss."
"You mention anything about me and Jenny, and I swear you won't even be able to get a job as a custodian in a school."
McGee gulped before nodding his head. "Yes, Boss."
"Go."
McGee nodded and headed over to the open elevator as Jaiden pressed the button for Autopsy.

At the local cafe, outside at the tables near the sidewalk sat Kate, Kelly, Layla, and Ben.
"So...You two have been friends since second grade?" Kate asked after taking a sip of her coffee. Layla nodded before taking a bite out of Ben's sandwich.
"Have you two...Dated?"
"Nope."
"Nah." Ben said, putting his arm behind Layla's shoulders, resting on the head of her chair. "We're just best friends."
Kelly and Kate looked at each other with a smirk before nodding their heads at the two.
"Does Dad know about him?"
"Duh. There's no way you can hide anything from Dad. Why do you think Benny calls him 'L.J.'?"
"Ohhh, yeah. That makes sense."
Kate raised an eyebrow. "Jethro lets you call him "L.J."? You must be joking."
Ben chuckled and ran his fingers through his hair. "Wish I was. But, I'm not."
"Ben's like...The son Dad never had...Before he met Jake and Jaiden."
"Oh, is that the long-lost brothers?"
Kelly and Layla nodded while Kate giggled.
"Long lost brothers?" She asked making Layla grin.
"Yup." She replied, popping the "p".
Kate laughed and shook her head before taking another sip of her coffee.
"You know...You drink your coffee the way Dad likes his." Kelly said as Kate shrugged.
"One year with the man and I already got used to his lifestyle. I still wake up at 0430 because of that man." Kate said, shaking her head. Ben chuckled while Layla and Kelly giggled.
"Mmm, why don't you three tell me somethin' about yourselves? I don't really know anythin' 'bout y'all." Kate said as the three nodded.
"I'm a year older than Layla and Kelly. I was born in October." Ben said with a shrug.
"Um...I was born in November and Layla was born in September."
"Okay...Y'all have a middle name?" Kate asked as all three nodded.
"My full name is Kelly Alesha Savah Gibbs."
"I'm Benjamin David Farley."
"Mmm, well Dad changed my name after he adopted me. I don't know what my name was before but, now it's Leilani Caitlin Cassandra Gibbs. But everyone calls m-"
Kate spit out her coffee, "Your name is what?!"
"Um...Leilani Caitlin Cassandra Gibbs?"
Kelly grabbed some napkins as Ben was passing them over.
"Here, lemme help you." She said as she wiped the dripping coffee off of Kate's coat.
Kate pushed her hands away. "Your name is Leilani Caitlin?"
"Yes?"
Kate's eyes widened.
FLASHBACK
Kate sighed as she laid her head on Jethro's chest, over his heart, and ran her fingers through the hair on his bare chest while he was drawing circles on her naked lower back.
"Baby?"
"Hmm?" Jethro hummed.
"Do you think we'll be together? Forever? Like...we'll get married, have lots of kids, and grow old together?"
"Of course, Babe. Why?"
Kate smiled and looked up at him. "I was just day dreamin' about our future."
Jethro smiled and kissed her lips before asking, "And what exactly were you dreamin' 'bout?"
Kate hummed. "I was dreamin' that we had five kids. One was on the way so, we'll make that six."
Jethro chuckled and caressed Kate's butt.
Kate continued, "Three boys and two girls, the sixth one to be named after. All of us are in a big house with a big backyard where the kids can play. A basement where we can build stuff."
"Like a boat?"
Kate giggled, "Definitely like a boat."
Jethro chuckled, "And would be the names of our children?"
"Mmm, I don't know about the boys but for one of the girls...I would love to name them Leilani. And we can call her Layla for short."
Jethro smiled, "I like the sound of that but, what if her name was Leilani Caitlin. So, I can have another Katie around the house."
Kate giggled again, "I love the sound of that."
Jethro smiled and flipped them around as he captured her lips in a hot, passionate kiss.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Kate? Kate!"
Kate was pulled out of her memories and turned to the three teenagers in front of her. All with concerned looks on their faces.
"Are you alright?" Ben asked.
"I-I'm sorry. I...I have to go." Kate said as she got up and left the table.
"Kate! Wait!" Layla called out as she stood up as well. Kate ran away as fast as she can before bumping into someone.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't-"
"Katie?"
Kate looked up at the familiar voice. "Jethro? What the hell are you doing here?!"
"Well, I came out to get some coffee. What's wrong? Why are you cryin'? Where are the girls?"
"Why didn't you tell me you named Layla "Leilani Caitlin"? You know how much I wanted to name our daughter that name!" Kate yelled as she hit Gibbs' chest while tears rolled down her cheeks. Gibbs' heart shattered at the sight of Kate crying in front of him. He just kept quiet and wrapped his arms around the brunette.
"I'm sorry." He said as he placed a kiss on her hair. "I'm sorry, Katie." He just hugged Kate tightly, rubbing her back as she started to calm down. He looked up to see Ben, Layla, and Kelly standing a few feet away. He waved them off. The three nodded before walking away with sad, confused, and concerned looks on their faces.
"C'mon. I'll explain everything."
Kate sniffed as she let go of Gibbs. "You better, Jethro."
"I promise." As the two walked back to the cafe where Kate and the other teenagers were just minutes ago.
A/N: BTW, Ben is based on a person in real life who I actually do have a crush on since like...second grade. So...yep. Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please leave a review :)
