Hi. I'm sorry, LOBlack. I never realized anybody actually read this. So I'm actually just updating this for you, like you updated Slices of Life for me once.

BTW, here's a list of the stories I will continue:

I mean, look at this:

LOBlack chapter 3. Oct 27

I'll say just three words, this is awesome. And I understand that you have mid-terms. But, my rational side is being overwhelmed by my fan-Girling side and requests you go update.

LOBlack chapter 2. Oct 27

Athena's character seems more friendly than in canon. But then again, she's a mortal. And, poor Piper.

LOBlack chapter 1. Oct 27

Back-to-work pranked? Ha! Yeah, that's probably not that funny. And 'Katie Bell got cursed, Hermione Granger got attacked by a troll, Ginny Weasley got possessed and Moaning Myrtle died'? That's hilarious too. And, boys are weird.

These are her reviews. Read her stories or whatevs. Thanks, LOBlack!

Also, this is short because it's a part one and I wanted to build up momentum.

Piper got home early since there was not that much traffic. It was only about half-past nine. She got in and sighed as she locked the door behind. Mr. Chase's Burritos had filled her up good and proper and she couldn't even think about eating.

Piper switched on the lights as she got in kicked off her shoes by the front door. She went around her three-bedroomed apartment and switched on the lights and took off her belt and socks while doing so. One room was a guest room. Annabeth used to stay there if she slept over. It was a bright, sunny room. The other was fully dedicated to her dachshund, Lacy. It too was small, smaller than the guest room, but it had enough room for Lacy to get exercise and play around during the day.

Its cheerfulness and colour made up for the size. The last was the primary bedroom, Piper's room. It was sunny and bright and had a view of the central park through one window (if you squinted hard at the left corner of the window you could see and green patch) and a view of the road through another.

Piper had decorated it with "Be You!" and "The best role you ever played was yourself!" posters, though she really didn't believe in that sort of crap. Her bed had a yellow frame decorated with purple polka dots. Piper was about to unbutton her shirt when she remembered Lacy. Her next-door neighbors Lisa and her Boyfriend Timmy looked after her during the day.

She barged through the connecting door, and they didn't seem to mind. Lacy came out of the bedroom and jumped on Piper. Lacy laughed and Timmy smiled and gave Lacy one last pat before Piper went back into her own apartment via the doors. She cooed and tickled the dachshund. "You naughty little thing!" She cooed as she tucked Lacy into her dog bed.

Piper undressed, took a shower and tucked herself into bed. She fell asleep after about fifteen minutes of tossing and turning.

LINE BREAK************************************************************************

The clock chimed eleven. Pipers' apartment was perfectly quiet. Lacy had walked over and decided on sleeping on Pipers' feet. A slight breeze blew through the open curtains in the living room. A shadow reflected.
