House of Letters:
Victor and the club faced the Prince of Darkness in the garden. Amber was screaming and Aaron put his hand over her mouth. Victor walked toward the Prince of Darkness. Victor took the mask away from the Prince of the Dark and it was revealed to be Alfie.
"Alfie!" Shouted Amber.
"Just as I thought," said Victor.
"What are you doing?" Asked Alfie.
"Welcome to your worst nightmare," said Victor.
"Alfie you jerk! How dare you to scare me like that! Don't you ever do that that again!" Shouted Amber.
Victor picked up a shovel and handed it to Alfie.
"What do I've to do with this?" Asked Alfie.
"It's for digging," said Victor.
The club headed back to the pit where they had been digging earlier. Suddenly there was a very foul odor.
"Oh bah! Is that you Victor?" Asked Amber, as she pinched her nose.
"What?" Asked Victor.
"Oh this smell is too much," said Aaron, as he pinched his nose.
"No, it wasn't me," said Victor.
"It seems like a stink bomb has gone off," said Fabian.
"I really thought I had only used smoke bombs, butt I guess I thought wrong," said Alfie.
"Well I guess you did," said Patricia," as she pinched her nose
"Oh it smells too awful! I think I'm going to pass out from the smell," said Amber.
"I don't care about that. Now start with digging," said Victor.
"What are we actually looking for exactly?" Asked Alfie.
"That what Fabian and Amber have buried here," said Victor.
"We didn't bury anything," said Amber.
"Don't lie, I've caught you red handed myself," said Victor.
"What are you talking about? We haven't hidden anything at all," said Fabian.
"Then please tell where you came from," said Victor.
"Okay we came from the hospital. We were there to see Nina," said Fabian.
"Yeah right," said Victor, with a laugh in his voice.
"I'm glad you think it's so funny, because I think it's terrible," said Fabian. "How would you like it if your girlfriend didn't wake up anymore?" He asked.
"Victor having a girlfriend, try to picture that," said Alfie.
"Shut it Alfie," said Aaron.
"I just wanted to see her. Hold her for a moment. To tell her that everything is gonna be okay," said Fabian.
"Great acting, very believable story," said Victor, sarcastically.
"This is not acting! This is what being in love is. Love! I don't think you even know what that is," said Fabian
"It's true. And if you don't believe us, just call the hospital," said Amber.
"Go inside all of you and go to my office," said Victor.
The club put down the shovels and went inside.
Five minutes later. The club was in Victor's office. Victor was on the phone with the hospital. Victor hung up and looked at the club.
"The nurse corroborate your story," said Victor.
"We told you so," said Amber.
"Well that mystery is solved," said Alfie, as he was about to leave.
"Everyone stays here until I'm done with you," said Victor.
"I thought that everything was cleared up and okay now?" said Aaron.
"You five don't think you can sneak out of the house with being unpunished, do you?" Said Victor.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, technically speaking, I wasn't at the hospital," said Alfie.
"Alfie are you seriously selling us out right now?" Asked Amber.
"I'm telling the truth. I wasn't the one who snuck out of the house," said Alfie.
"You're being such a bad teammate. I thought we were gonna stick together from now on," said Amber.
"I'm being not a bad teammate, I'm just stating a fact," said Alfie.
"No, you're being total sell-out," said Amber.
"Shut it both of you!" Shouted Victor.
Amber and Alfie were quiet.
"Mr. Lewis I know you played a part in helping Mr. Rutter and Ms. Millington escape from the house," said Victor.
"You do?" Asked Alfie.
"Yes I do and that's why you five are grounded for a month," said Victor.
"What!" Shouted Amber.
"That means coming home right after school," said Victor.
"But then we can't go to Nina," said Fabian.
"Don't worry about Ms. Martin, I will personally deliver that fruit basket, with best regards," said Victor.
"But this isn't fair," said Amber.
"You made your bed now lie in it," said Victor.
"You can't do this," said Aaron.
"Yes I can. Now go to bed, before I make it two months," said Victor.
The club left Victor's office and went to their rooms. Victor closed his door and the shades.
"When Nina wakes up, I'll be the first she sees. And she better not remember anything or else," said Victor to Corbierre.
A few minutes later., Fabian entered his room. Eddie had woken up and turned on the nightlight
"Fabian? Where did you come from?" Asked Eddie.
"I went go to see Nina," said Fabian.
"In the hospital?" Asked Eddie.
"Yes," said Fabian.
"And how is she?" Asked Eddie.
"She did wake up for a moment, but she can't remember anything," said Fabian.
"What do you mean?" Asked Eddie.
"She thought today was Victor's birthday," said Fabian.
"Victor's birthday? Wasn't that two weeks ago?" Asked Eddie.
"Yeah, so she's forgotten everything that happened," said Fabian.
"Sorry dude," said Eddie.
Fabian climbed the ladder of the bunk bed and went to sleep. But what Fabian and Eddie didn't know was that Ryan had overheard the entire conversation.
The next morning. Jerome woke up and looked over at Alfie's bed and saw that Alfie was wearing his Prince of Darkness costume.
"Wah!" Shouted Jerome, who was startled.
"What is it!" Shouted Alfie.
"Alfie why are you wearing that?" Asked Jerome.
"Oh I pulled a prank late at night as the Prince of Darkness," said Alfie
"Why are you still wearing it?" Asked Jerome.
"I wanted to take it off, but I was so tired and fell asleep," said Alfie
An hour later. Most residents were doing something outside the house, except for the club, who were grounded. Victor entered the living room.
"Have you nothing better to do than to sit here all day?" Asked Victor.
"It is Sunday," said Patricia.
"And we're grounded, so there's not a much for us to do," said Aaron
"Be quiet boy," said Victor.
Then Trudy entered the living room, carrying a bucket of flower bulbs. Trudy did not look happy.
"Who? Who did this?" Asked Trudy.
Amber and Alfie pointed with their knives to Victor, while Fabian, Aaron and Patricia looked at him. Trudy looked at Victor.
"Victor!" Shouted Trudy.
"It's not that bad," said Victor.
"Not that bad? It looks like a battlefield. Come with me," said Trudy.
"Where to?' Asked Victor.
"To the garden, you're gonna replant all of my flower bulbs," said Trudy.
"But," said Victor.
"No buts," said Trudy.
"You've made your bed, now lie in it," said Amber.
"They will do it, they're grounded," said Victor.
"Which is totally ridiculous, we aren't even allowed to visit Nina," said Amber.
"You barbaric man," said Trudy.
"He totally is," said Amber.
"I'm assuming Victor didn't mean it that way, so you guys are ungrounded," said Trudy.
"You don't decide that, I'm the one who decide that," said Victor.
"Not today you not. Come to the garden," ordered Trudy.
Trudy dragged Victor to the garden. The club laughed at what had happened and were happy that they were no longer grounded
A few moments later. Trudy was in the kitchen, occasionally checking the garden to see how victor was replanting her flowers. Suddenly Trudy felt a sigh of wind.
"Hello is anyone there?" Asked Trudy.
But no one answered. Trudy started to feel that she was being watched by someone.
"The spirit is here," said Trudy.
Trudy grabbed a chestnut necklace and put it on and taped a golden cross on her mop. Trudy started to chant, to make sure the spirit would go away.
The next day. The Anubis residents were at school. The residents had history class, Jerome was not in class.
"Alfie where's Jerome?" Asked Mara.
"I don't know, said Alfie.
"Haven't you seen him?" Asked Mara.
"The last time I saw him was during breakfast," said Alfie.
"Otis, do you know where Jerome is?" Asked Mara.
"No, no idea," said Otis.
"Okay," said Mara.
Mr. Griffin entered the classroom and immediately noticed that Jerome was not there.
"Where is Jerome? Asked Jerome.
"No idea sir," said Mara.
"Otis, Alfie you guys are his best friends, do you know where he is?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
"No, Mr. Griffin," said Alfie.
"I also don't know," said Otis.
"Okay, then let's start class without him," said Mr. Griffin.
While the rest of the house was being taught by Mr. Griffin. Jerome was hiding one of the stalls in the boys' bathroom. Jerome wouldn't go near Mr. Griffin.
A few hours later. The newspaper staff were in the classroom, reading the letters students had sent to Dear Delilah.
"Wow we've gotten a lot of letters already," said Joy.
"Let's read them then," said Fiona.
Joy picked up a letter and began to read.
"Dear Delilah I've a problem. I went to the ophthalmologist recently and it turns out I have minus 2. I'm wearing green glasses now and really don't know what makeup goes with it," said Joy, as she read the letter.
"Maybe we should go to Amber with that question," said Patricia.
"Yeah, that's probably the best idea," said Joy
"Come on let's read another one," said Fiona.
"Dear Delilah, I smell terribly from my mouth. I brush like crazy, but nothing helps," said Joy, as she read the letter.
"That one is probably from Victor," joked Otis.
Everyone laughed at Otis' comment.
"Shouldn't we write a piece about the camping trip," suggested Joy.
"Why?" Asked Fiona.
"I think our readers would really like to know what happened," said Joy.
"That our house-mate is in the hospital because she fell into a ravine. Are you sure that's a good?" Asked Fiona. Fiona.
"It sounds interesting. Then I'm bummed that I don't have footage of the camping trip," said Otis.
"Seriously Otis?" Asked Patricia.
"It sounds like a good idea for an article. 'Student in hospital after camping trip'," said Joy.
"Or 'Almost fatal accident happens during camping trip'," said Otis.
"We're talking about Nina here. We don't post anything without her permission," said Patricia.
"I agree with Patricia. And don't think it's good or nice for Nina to relive that traumatic experience," said Mara.
"Let's not talk about it anymore. Let's read another letter," said Fiona.
"Good idea," said Mara.
Joy picked up another letter and began to read.
"Dear Delilah, Every time I see you, my heart skips a beat. I get butterflies in my stomach. And I would like to tell you how beautiful you are," said Joy, as she read to letter.
"It doesn't have a name on it," said Eddie.
"Well duh it's anonymous remember," said Patricia.
"Looks like Dear Delilah has a secret admirer," said Fiona.
Joy had lost her concentration and could only think about the letter. Was the letter be written for her? Is someone in love with her?
In the meantime. Fabian had gone to the hospital to see Nina. Fabian had a bunch of flowers with him and walked over to Nina's room. Before Fabian entered the room, he was approached by the nurse.
"Can I help you?" Asked the nurse.
"I'm here to see how Nina's doing," said Fabian.
"Then you really have to wait until visiting hours," said the nurse.
"But then I've class," said Fabian.
"Those are the rules. Outside visiting hours, only the family or the patient's boyfriend or girlfriend is allowed to visit," said the nurse.
"But I'm her boyfriend," said Fabian.
"Her boyfriend is already there," said the nurse.
"What?" Asked Fabian.
Fabian was surprised to hear that Nina's boyfriend was already there. Fabian looked into the room and saw Ryan sitting by Nina's bed.
