House of Photoshoots:
Ryan was in his room reading the letter that Nina had written to Fabian.
"You've always been the only one for me... oh what a sappy goose," said Ryan
In the meantime, Patricia, Joy, and Fiona walked down the hallway.
"You know what I can do," said Joy.
"Tell us," said Patricia.
"I can put up a webcam at the computer lab," said Joy.
"Why would you do that?" Asked Fiona.
"Because when he comes to post those letters, I can see who it is," said Joy.
"I though the whole idea of Dear Delilah is that everything remains anonymous," said Fiona.
"I already told her," said Patricia.
"I'm acting irrational, aren't I?" Asked Joy.
"A little bit," said Patricia.
"Trudy baked brownies, do you want some?" Asked Fiona.
"Yes please," said Joy.
"I'll be right there, just have to tie my shoelace," said Patricia, as she noticed that her shoelace was loose.
While Patricia was tying her shoelace, Ryan heard talking. Patricia carefully opened and saw Ryan reading from a letter. When Ryan finished reading, he put the letter back in the envelope and put the letter in the safe. Ryan locked the safe, shoved it under his bed, and put the key in his breast pocket. Patricia had seen enough and walked away.
In the meantime. Mara was sitting in the living room listening to music and reading a book. Jerome sat down next to her.
"Hey," said Jerome.
"Hi," said Mara.
"What are you reading?" Asked Jerome.
"A book as you see," said Mara.
"And what are you listening to?" Asked Jerome.
"To music of course, only my mp-3 player is acting weird," said Mara.
"Do you want me to look at it? Asked Jerome.
"No that's not necessary, said Mara.
Aaron entered the living room and sat down.
"Hey, said Aaron.
"Hi Aaron," said Mara.
"Everything is okay in here?" Asked Aaron.
"Yeah, only my mp-3 player is acting a little weird," said Mara.
"Do you want me to look at it?" Asked Aaron.
"Thank you Aaron, that's so sweet of you to offer," said Mara.
"I'll look at it later," said Aaron.
Mara gave her mp-3 player to Aaron and he put it in his pocket. Victor entered the living room.
"Mr. Clarke, come with," said Victor.
"Why?" Asked Jerome.
"I just got a call from Mr. Sweet and you skipped classes all day," said Victor.
"Yes but," said Jerome.
"You know there's a hefty penalty for skipping classes," said Victor.
"What did Mr. Sweet say my punishment is?" Asked Jerome.
"Oh I said I'd take care of it and I've already thought of something for you," said Victor.
Jerome followed Victor to his office.
At the same time. Fabian and Eddie were in the laundry room looking for the letter. Patricia, Joy and Fiona entered the laundry room.
"What are you guys doing?" Asked Joy.
"We're looking for a letter," said Eddie.
"What kind of letter? Asked Fiona.
"That letter from Nina. The letter that proves she dumped Ryan, said Fabian.
"Ryan has it, said Patricia.
"How do you know that? Asked Fabian.
"I heard him read out of it as I passed by your room, said Patricia.
"That's it, I'm going to rearrange his face, said Eddie.
Eddie wanted to leave to go confront Ryan, but the others stopped him.
"That doesn't seem like a good idea to me, said Patricia.
"Why not?" Asked Eddie.
"Because that won't get us the letter back. If he knows that we know that he has the letter. Then he will…," said Patricia.
"Then he will what?" Asked Eddie.
"Then he will through throw the letter into the fireplace tonight," said Fiona.
"What are we supposed to do then? What are I supposed to do then?" Asked Fabian.
Nobody had any idea. Suddenly Patricia had an idea.
"I've got an idea," said Patricia.
"What is it?" Asked Joy.
"We need more help," said Patricia.
"Whose help do we need?" Asked Joy.
"We need a photographer," said Patricia.
No one understood Patricia's idea, but they were confident that Patricia knew she was doing it.
A few moments later. Trudy was cooking and Ryan happily entered the kitchen.
"Why are you so happy? Got no chores to do?" Asked Trudy.
"I was supposed to do something, but Victor found another victim, said Ryan,
Ryan took some food from the pan and ate it.
"Don't touch, that's for later," said Trudy.
"It's your own fault mum, then you shouldn't be such a great cook," said Ryan.
Trudy gave her son kiss on his cheek. Patricia and Joy entered the kitchen.
"Ryan," said Patricia.
"Ladies," said Ryan.
"Have you got a moment?" Asked Joy.
"For you ladies always," said Ryan.
"We would like to interview you for the school newspaper," said Patricia.
"Me?" Asked Ryan.
"Yes, you're the new janitor, so this way, they can get to know you a little bit at school," said Joy.
"Sounds good," said Ryan.
"Great, are you coming?" Asked Patricia.
"What? You want to do the interview now?" Asked Ryan.
"Yes, said Patricia.
"Sorry ladies, it's really not a good time right now. I've to go to Nina, she has been waiting for me all day," said Ryan.
"But it really has to be today, otherwise it will be too late for the publisher," said Patricia.
"Sorry," said Ryan.
"And what now?" Whispered Joy to Patricia.
"Then I'll have to cancel the photographer," said Patricia.
"Wait a second. A photographer?" Asked Ryan.
"Yes for the pictures. You can't make a cover story without photos," said Patricia.
"Cover story?" Asked Ryan
"You didn't think we were gonna put a handsome hunk like you on the back cover, did you?" Asked Joy.
"All right, come on let's do it," said Ryan.
"Really?" Asked Patricia.
"Of course I don't want you to have put in all that effort for nothing," said Ryan.
"Okay, follow us," said Patricia.
Ryan followed Patricia and Joy to their room.
In the meantime. Jerome was in Victor's office. Victor came in with a can of lacquer.
"What is that?" Asked Jerome.
"This is your punishment," said Victor.
Victor opened the can. Jerome noticed a skull on the can.
"This miracle product protects my animals against worms, fungi and other vermin," said Victor.
"You mean it's poison?" Asked Jerome.
"That's not it at all," said Victor.
"Then why is there a skull on it?" Asked Jerome.
"That's all bogus. I've been working with this stuff for years," said Victor.
Victor dipped his finger in the polish and tasted it.
"Completely innocent. Now get to work," ordered Victor.
"Am I not getting something like a face mask or gloves or something?" Asked Jerome.
"Stop complaining and just hurry up," said Victor.
Jerome sat down. Jerome looked at Corbierre and got a little scared.
In the meantime. Fiona had gone to the hospital to see Nina. This was a part of Patricia's plan to keep Ryan away from Nina.
"Hi," said Fiona.
"Hi Fiona," said Nina.
"How are you doing?" Asked Fiona.
"I'm doing a little better," said Nina.
"Nice to hear that," said Fiona.
"What are you doing here?" Asked Nina.
"I'll came here to give you this," said Fiona.
Fiona gave a get well card signed by all the Anubis residents and a box with some brownies in it.
"Yummy brownies," said Nina.
"Not just any brownies, Trudy's brownies", said Fiona.
"Trudy makes the best brownies," said Nina.
"I know that, said Fiona.
"Thanks for bringing these, said Nina.
"No problem, said Fiona.
"Fiona, do you know where Ryan is? Asked Nina.
"He had some errands to run, said Fiona.
Back at the house. Joy was interviewing Ryan. Patricia was trying to put up a large poster, but it was a bit difficult because the poster was too big.
"People underestimate the janitor, they only think that we sweep floors and replace lamps," said Ryan.
"And that isn't the case?" Asked Joy.
"No of course not. Without us the school would be a mess in a week," said Ryan.
"Can you help me for a sec?" Asked Patricia.
"Yes," said Joy.
Joy got up and helped Patricia hang the poster.
"What is that poster for?" Asked Ryan.
"It's for the photoshoot. Of course we don't just want to put you in front of a boring closet, said Patricia.
Suddenly there was a knock and Patricia opened the door. Otis came in along with Aaron carrying a lamp and a white umbrella. Aaron put the stuff down and left the room.
"The photographer is here," said Patricia.
"Is Otis the photographer?" Asked Ryan
"Yep," said Patricia.
"I know what I'm doing," said Otis.
Otis got everything ready for the photoshoot. Patricia walked over to Ryan with a life jacket and a megaphone.
"Time to get undressed," said Patricia.
"Me? Why?" Asked Ryan.
"Because I've the perfect costume for you. We're going to photograph you as a lifeguard," said Patricia,
"Yes, because that Baywatch feeling suits you perfectly," said Joy.
"I don't think I'm looking forward to that," said Ryan
"You just said it yourself that the school would be lost without you, so it's symbolic. And you've the body for it," said Joy.
"Uhm, that's what the girls want to see," said Patricia.
"Ugh, you girls are being total slime balls," said Otis.
"So what do you think? Asked Patricia.
"Okay alright, I'll do it," said Ryan.
"You can give your clothes to me," said Joy.
Ryan took off his shirt and handed it to Joy. Ryan put on the life jacket.
"Yes, the pants have to go too," said Patricia.
"Yeah right," said Ryan.
"So that way it looks like you're wearing a swimsuit," said Joy.
Ryan took off his pants and was now only in his underpants. Ryan gave his pants to Joy.
"Looking good Ryan," said Patricia.
"Thank you," said Ryan.
"The key is in his left breast pocket," whispered Patricia.
"Okay," said Joy.
Patricia handed the megaphone to Ryan.
"Are you ready for it?" Asked Patricia.
"Yes," said Ryan.
"And a tough pose, because that's what people want to see," said Patricia.
"Do you want me to get the wind machine?" Joked Otis.
Ryan got ready and Otis started taking pictures. Joy, meanwhile, had taken the key from Ryan's breast pocket and secretly handed it to Patricia.
"I'm going away for a short while to get the charger for the camera," said Patricia.
"Okay," said Joy.
Patricia left the room. And the photo shoot continued.
In the meantime. Jerome was still painting Victor's animals. Jerome coughed now and then and his neck and face started to itch.
At that same time. Patricia walked into Fabian and Eddie's room and the two were already there waiting for her.
"Do you have the key?" Asked Fabian.
"Yep," said Patricia.
"Where's that safe?" Asked Eddie.
"Under his bed, "said Patricia.
Patricia took the safe from under the bed and put it down.
"The honor is all yours," said Patricia.
"Thanks," said Fabian.
Fabian took the key and opened the safe. Fabian took the bag with the locket from the safe.
"What is that?" Asked Eddie.
"A necklace from Nina," said Fabian.
"How did he got his hands on that?" Asked Patricia.
"I don't know. But he doesn't have it anymore," said Fabian.
Fabian put the locket in his pocket and continued to search the safe.
Back in Patricia and Joy's room.
"Maybe now we can take some pictures without a life jacket," said Joy
"I think we've got enough pictures now, isn't your camera empty yet?" Asked Ryan.
"Almost I think," said Otis.
"Where is Patricia?" Asked Ryan.
"She went to grab the camera charger," said Joy.
Ryan walked over to Joy and Otis and looked at the camera.
"This thing is fully charged," said Ryan.
Then Ryan began to realize that something wasn't right. Ryan grabbed his shirt and checked to see if the key was still there. When Ryan felt the key was gone, he ran out of the room.
At that same time in Fabian and Eddie's room. Fabian had found the letter.
"Bingo," said Fabian.
"Yes," said Patricia.
"Nice," said Eddie.
Ryan burst into the room and didn't look happy.
"You bunch of thieves! I'm going to get Victor. Mr. Sweet is going to hear about this," said Ryan.
"Go ahead, I think Mr. Sweet isn't at all bother by the fact that the janitor is taking advantage of a sick girl," said Patricia.
"And if I ever see you near Nina again, I'll personally make sure that Mr. Sweet hears about this," said Fabian.
"Yep. And once again, I repeat once again, there is a place where you can no longer show your pretty face," said Eddie.
Ryan stormed out of the room and bumped into Amber. Amber walked into room, with a confused look on her face.
"Why is he wearing a life jacket?" Asked Amber.
"He just fell through the ice," joked Patricia.
"That's a good one Yacker," said Eddie.
A few moments later. Jerome was punished. Jerome walked into his room and sat on his bed. Alfie was reading and looked at Jerome and saw all kinds of crazy bumps on Jerome's face.
"Dude, dude, dude," said Alfie.
"What?" Asked Jerome.
"Your face! Your face, as if it going to explode," said Alfie.
Not funny Alfie," said Jerome.
"I'm not joking," said Alfie.
Alfie grabbed a mirror and walked over to Jerome. Alfie held the mirror up to Jerome's face. Jerome was startled by the bumps in his face and passed out.
"Jerome!" Shouted Alfie.
What happened to Jerome? What are those bumps on his face?
