House of Uncles:

Jerome lay unconscious on his bed. Alfie taped on Jerome leg and tried to wake him up.

"Jerome wake up," said Alfie, as shook Jerome trying to wake him up.

Jerome didn't wake up and Alfie could only think of one thing, he had to give mouth to mouth resuscitation.

"I can't do it! But the life and death situation. Okay pretend it's Amber," said Alfie.

Alfie leaned over toward Jerome. Before Alfie came near Jerome's lips, Jerome opened his eyes and saw Alfie closing in. Jerome was startled and pushed Alfie away.

"Gross Alfie! What are you doing?" Asked Jerome, while he wiped his mouth.

'Dude, I'm trying to save your life, mouth to mouth resuscitation. I thought you were dying," said Alfie.

"Couldn't you have brushed your teeth at least?" Asked Jerome.

"This the thanks I get? You were dying here, maybe that's contagious," said Alfie.

"Give me that mirror," said Jerome.

Alfie handed Jerome the mirror. Jerome looked in the mirror and examined the bumps.

"This is because of that stuff. As if this day couldn't get any worse, first Mara is mad at me again and now my face is falling apart," said Jerome..

"It's gonna be alright dude," said Alfie.

Alfie patted Jerome on the shoulder.

In the meantime. Patricia walked over to Fabian and Eddie's room. Patricia knocked on the door and Eddie opened it.

"Hey Yacker," said Eddie.

"Hey," said Patricia.

"Are you here for Fabian?" Asked Eddie.

"No, I came here because I wanted to talk to you," said Patricia.

"About what?" Asked Eddie.

"I wanted to say sorry," said Patricia.

"About revealing to the whole school that Mr. Sweet is my father?" Asked Eddie

"I'm sorry about that too," said Patricia.

"I forgave you for that already, I now know you didn't do it on purpose," said Eddie.

"That's nice that you've forgiven for that. But I came to say sorry for something else," said Patricia.

"For what?" Asked Eddie.

"That I didn't listen to you tried to warn me about Ryan," said Patricia.

"Oh that," said Eddie.

"Yes that, you knew Ryan wasn't okay and I didn't want to listen to you and I'm sorry about that," said Patricia.

"Ryan has a certain effect on girls. But I'm glad you quickly realized that Ryan isn't a good guy," said Eddie.

"I'm glad I found out in time, but I should have just listened to you from the start," said Patricia.

"Can you repeat that one more time so I can record it on my phone," joked Eddie.

"Seriously, I wanna make it right," said Patricia.

"What do you've in mind?" Asked Eddie.

"How about dinner?" Suggested Patricia.

"Yacker, are you asking me out on a date?" Asked Eddie.

"Perhaps I'm," said Patricia.

"Then perhaps I should accept," said Eddie.

"Okay, then I'll let you know where and when," said Patricia.

"Alright, I'll hear from you," said Eddie.

"I'll go again," said Patricia.

"Good night," said Eddie.

"You too," said Patricia.

Patricia walked back upstairs to her room. Eddie was happy.

In the meantime. Alfie had gone to Mara's room trying to convince Mara to go see Jerome.

"Forget it Alfie," said Mara.

"Ah come on, he's very sorry," said Alfie.

"I'm done with him. I don't understand his behavior anymore," said Mara.

"Listen Jerome is a complicated person, you know that, I know that," said Alfie.

"What's your point Alfie?" Asked Mara.

"Jerome is sick," said Alfie.

"What's wrong with him?" Asked Mara.

"I don't know, but he looks like someone who fell into a tub full of hydrochloric acid," Alfie.

"What does a person look like who has fallen into a container of hydrochloric acid?" Asked Mara.

"Just come and I'll show you how it looks," said Alfie.

"Sorry I'm not going," said Mara.

"Maybe he'll die," said Alfie.

"Okay, okay, I'll go with you. But if you've lied to me, I'll put your head in a tub of hydrochloric acid," said Mara.

Alfie and Mara went to Jerome and Alfie's room. Mara saw Jerome sitting and laughed at him.

"Do you find this funny or something?" Asked Jerome.

"Hilarious. I knew Alfie was good with horror makeup, but this is really top notch work," said Mara.

"Makeup? This is not makeup," said Alfie.

Mara walked up to Jerome and pinched his cheeks.

"Ouch!" Shouted Jerome.

"Oh they are real," said Mara.

Mara pinched Jerome's cheeks again.

"Hey cut it out," said Jerome.

"Whoa, whoa take it easy you, look at that dude he's almost crying," said Alfie.

"Sorry, I really thought it was a joke," said Mara.

"It's okay," said Jerome.

"How did this happen?" Asked Mara.

"I'm not sure," said Jerome.

"It's gonna be okay, I'll take care of you," said Jerome.

Mara sat down on the bed next to Jerome and patted his back.

A few hours later and all the residents of Anubis house were asleep.

The next day. The residents were at school., expect for Jerome who was at home recovering, Victor had gone to the hospital to retrieve the locket. Victor also had a fruit basket with him. Victor saw the nurse and walked over to her.

"Ah nurse how good to meet you, maybe you can help me. I'm Nina's Uncle, Uncle Victor, Her Favorite Uncle," lied Victor.

"What can I do for you?" Asked the nurse.

"It's about a piece of jewelry, a family piece. I guess Nina was wearing it when she was brought in here," said Victor.

"A locket?" Asked the nurse.

"Exactly a locket. I think it would be wise if I take that with me. It's quite valuable, emotionally and if that were lost here it would be a real disaster," said Victor.

"I can understand that, said the nurse.

"Good," said Victor.

"But I already gave it to her boyfriend," said the nurse.

"What?" Said Victor.

"Yeah I thought it would be safe with him," said the nurse.

"Does Fabian have the locket?" Asked Victor.

"No, said the nurse. Ryan that's her boyfriend right?" She asked.

"Yes of course. Fabian was the previous one," said Victor.

Victor handed the fruit basket to the nurse and walked away.

Later that day. School was over and Fabian and Amber had gone to the hospital. Fabian and Amber walked into the room and saw that the doctor was checking up on Nina.

"Do you have the letter?" Asked Amber.

"Yes," said Fabian.

The doctor finished and walked over to Fabian and Amber.

"Hello I'm Dr. Newman, I'm Nina's doctor," said Dr. Newman.

"Hi," said Amber.

"And you're friends of Nina?" Asked Dr. Newman.

"Yes," said Amber.

"Okay keep it short and simple, because we've to be careful about her amnesia. And don't talk about things she can't remember, that can lead to serious consequences and even a real coma," said Dr. Newman.

"But what exactly does she have?" Asked Amber.

"Yes, that is quite a rare case, although also had a patient with similar symptoms. Although they were a lot more serious with him because of the higher dose," said Dr. Newman.

"Higher dose of what?" Asked Fabian.

"A poison. Probably a toxin that is drained from an Egyptian beetle," explained Dr. Newman.

"She was poisoned?" Asked Amber.

"That looks like a real possibility. But I've no idea how or where she could have received it," said Dr. Newman.

"Dr. Newman, the other patient, was that perhaps Ade Rutter?" Asked Fabian.

"You know him?" Asked Dr. Newman.

"Yes, he's my uncle," said Fabian.

"How remarkable," said Dr. Newman.

The doctor's beeper beeped and he took off. Fabian was disappointed that he couldn't give the letter to Nina.

In the meantime. Aaron and Eddie were on their way home.

"You're in a happy mood today," said Aaron.

"That's because I'm happy," said Eddie.

"Why are you happy?" Asked Aaron

"Ryan is finally revealed as the rat he really is and I'm going on a date with Patricia," said Eddie.

"Whoa you're going on a date with Patricia? Asked Aaron.

"I think so, she asked if I wanted to have dinner with her alone sometime," said Eddie.

"Oh okay, then I guess it's a date," said Aaron.

"Doesn't matter if it's a date or not I'm just glad everything's alright," said Eddie.

Aaron and Eddie stopped talking and continued on their way home.

Back at the hospital. Amber gave Nina an update on Joy and the secret admirer.

"So now she's doing everything she can to find out who it is," said Amber.

"I didn't know Joy was such a romantic," said Nina.

"She even wanted to put up a webcam to catch him," said Amber

Nina had to laugh at the story. Fabian played with the letter that was in his pocket. Fabian was still hesitant to give it to Nina. On one hand he wanted Nina to remember that he's her boyfriend, but on the other hand he didn't wanted to jeopardize Nina's memory.

"Have you seen Ryan today? He said he would've come over," said Nina.

"He still had to do some chores for Victor," said Amber.

"He's so sweet, I really don't know what I'd do without him now," said Nina.

These words hurt Fabian. Fabian got up and walked out of the room. Unbeknownst to Fabian, the letter fell out of his pocket.

"What's wrong with him?" Asked Nina.

"I think he ate something wrong," said Amber.

A few seconds later and Fabian came back into the room.

"Amber are you coming? The doctor said to keep it short," said Fabian.

"I'll be right there in a minute," said Amber.

"Okay," said Fabian.

"Do you need anything else Neens?" Asked Amber.

"No. Oh can you tell Ryan not to come anymore, I'm too tired anyway," said Nina.

"Okay I'll do that," said Amber.

Amber gave Nina a hug and left the room. Fabian waved goodbye and left too. Nina went to sleep.

A few moments later. Ryan was already busy setting the table. Patricia and Joy entered the living room. Ryan greeted the two girls, but they ignored him. Patricia and Joy sat down.

"You know, I've tried to compare handwriting with other handwritings, but I can't figure it out," said Joy.

"Joy stop talking about it and rather think about what should be in the newspaper. Because we won't post the interview with the janitor," said Patricia.

"No, I don't think it's going to work," said Joy.

Patricia and Joy gave Ryan a dirty look. Victor entered the living room and walked over to Ryan.

"I want Nina's stuff," said Victor.

"What?" Asked Ryan.

"The things you got from that nurse, give them to me now," order Victor.

"What stuff do you mean?" Asked Ryan.

"I advise you not to fool me, you know exactly what I'm talking about," said Victor.

"I don't know what you're talking about at all," said Ryan.

"Do not lie! That nurse told me she gave everything to you," said Victor.

"What is going on here?" Asked Trudy, as she entered the living room.

"Your son is trying to steal from me," said Victor.

"Your stuff? I thought it was Nina's stuff," said Ryan.

"And rude too, you should have raised him a little better Trudy," said Victor.

"My son is not a thief," said Trudy.

"He is a thief and a liar. And if he doesn't give me that stuff very soon, he won't stay here for one another second," said Victor

"As if I wanted to anyway," said Ryan.

Ryan stormed out of the living room and went to Fabian and Eddie's room. Trudy was upset about what had happened.

At the same time. Fabian and Amber walked down the hall of the hospital.

"Is everything alright?" Asked Amber.

"No not really," said Fabian.

"Hey don't worry, Nina will definitely get her memory back and if that happens Ryan will be history," said Amber.

The nurse saw Fabian and Amber walking and approached them.

"You're friends of Nina, aren't you?" Asked the nurse.

"Yes, why do you want to know that?" Asked Fabian.

"I don't know if I can ask you this, but does she have an uncle named Victor?" Asked the nurse.

"How come?" Asked Amber.

"There was a man here who said he was her uncle Victor and wanted to know where Nina's jewelry was. And when I told that I had given that to Ryan, he just left without visiting her," said the nurse. "He really is her uncle?" She asked.

"Well", said Amber.

"Yes, he is family. They're just not very close anymore," said Fabian.

"Ah okay," said the nurse.

The nurse walked away. Fabian and Amber realized something was up.

"So that's how Ryan got his hands on the locket," said Amber.

"Yes, but how did Nina get it?" Asked Fabian.

"Do you know it?" Asked Amber.

"Victor apparently does. Come on, we've to get home quickly for an emergency meeting," said Fabian.

Fabian and Amber hurried back to the house.

In the meantime. Ryan was in Fabian and Eddie's room packing his things. Trudy came into the room to talk to her son.

"Ryan please my boy don't let Victor bother you like that," said Trudy.

"That guy is crazy. I don't understand how you stand it here," said Ryan.

"But Victor didn't mean it that way. Ryan please stay," said Trudy.

"Forget it, I've stayed here way too long," said Ryan.

"You know that's right," said Eddie.

Trudy gave Eddie an angry look and then she looked with a said look at Ryan.

"Where are you going?" Asked Trudy.

"Ibiza," said Ryan.

"But you don't have any money," said Trudy.

"I'll come up with something," said Ryan.

Trudy had tears in her eyes, sad that her son was leaving again.

"It's not your fault mum," said Ryan.

"I'm going to miss you," said Trudy.

"I'll call you soon," said Ryan.

Trudy gave Ryan a firm hug. Ryan let go, walked to the door and looked at Eddie, who gave him a sassy wave. Ryan walked out of the room and left Anubis' house. Trudy went back to the kitchen to continue eating. Eddie was glad Ryan was finally gone.

A few moments later in the hospital. The doctor came into the room to check up on Nina. The doctor found the letter and picked it up.

"Well done, Nina you've clearly taken a step, If you write letters then you are already on the way to a full recovery," said Dr. Newman.

The doctor gave Nina the letter and checked the apartment and left again. Nina took the letter out of the envelope and began to read. Will Nina start to remember that Fabian is her real boyfriend? Or will reading the letter damage her memory.
