House of Glue:

Fabian and Victor were still pinned to the floor. The strange noise turned out to be the vacuum cleaner. Trudy was in a trance again, sucking up the ghosts with the vacuum cleaner.

"Spirits!" Shouted Trudy.

"Are you totally out of your mind," said Victor.

"Where are you staying in this house! Leave us alone! I'll get you, I'll suck you all up!" Said Trudy.

"Trudy turn off that vacuum cleaner!" Shouted Victor.

"Demon leave this body!" Shouted Trudy.

"That is enough!" Shouted Victor.

Victor grabbed the vacuum cleaner rod and pulled it, trying to get it away from Trudy. At the same time Amber, Patricia and Joy came to see what was going on and their hair got caught in the fly capture tape and their feet were also stuck to the floor.

"Hello, people are trying to sleep here," said Jerome, as he came walking down the hall.

Then Jerome noticed that his feet were glued to the floor. At the same time Aaron came walking up.

"What's the meaning of all this noise?" Asked Aaron.

"Aaron come help me, I'm stuck," said Jerome.

Aaron pulled on Jerome's arm, but there was no movement. Aaron took a step forward and was now stuck himself.

"Uh oh," said Aaron.

"Okay now I see the family resemblance between you and Amber, said Jerome.

"Hey I want to sleep, I think it's already past ten o'clock," said Alfie, as he came walking down the hall.

Then Alfie saw that Aaron and Jerome were stuck to the floor.

"Ha-ha suckers," said Alfie, as he laughed at Aaron and Jerome.

Aaron grabbed Alfie by his t-shirt and pulled him towards him and Jerome, now Alfie was stuck too.

"And who's the sucker now?" Asked Aaron.

"Me," said Alfie.

Otis and Eddie came out of their rooms to see what's going on.

"What is going on here?" Asked Otis.

"It's the middle of the night," said Eddie.

Otis and Eddie didn't pay attention to where they were walking and ran into a string. Suddenly a large fell on top of Otis and Eddie and the two boys were trapped.

"Hey what the..," said Eddie.

"Get this net off us!" Shouted Otis.

Mara and Fiona had also heard all the noise and came to see what was going on.

"What is going on here?" Asked Mara.

"Watch out or you'll get stuck," said Patricia.

Then Mara noticed her hand was stuck to the stair railing.

"My hand is stuck," said Mara.

Fiona walked over to Trudy and unplugged the vacuum cleaner.

"Trudy," said Fiona.

"I had to do this to drive the spirits away," said Trudy

"Oh yeah spirits? Is that right?" Asked Victor, sarcastically.

"Yes," said Trudy.

"There are no spirits here!" Shouted Victor.

"Sssh," said Trudy.

"Is there something against the glue?" Asked Fiona.

"No, it's Ultra Glue and nothing helps against that," said Trudy.

"What!" Shouted Amber.

"I think I can come up with something," said Victor.

A few hours later and it was already morning. None of the residents had gotten any sleep because they had to scrub off the glue all over the house. Fabian had enough of scrubbing and took a break. Then Victor walked up to him.

"Come keep scrubbing," said Victor.

Victor walked downstairs and saw that Amber, Patricia and Joy were not cleaning.

"Ms. Millington, Ms. Williamson and Ms. Mercer, where are you? Asked Victor.

Amber, Patricia and Joy walked down the hall and the hair of all three of the girls was all messed up. All three the girls tried to comb their hair, but it didn't seem to work

"I see three buckets standing here and I don't see at work," said Victor.

"Can't you see what our hair looks like," said Joy.

"This is really a total disaster. We're all ruined, we've to go to the hairdresser," said Amber.

"Yes," said Joy.

"You're not going to the hairdresser, you're going to remove the glue," said Victor.

"Why do we've to do that?" Asked Patricia.

"Because I say so," said Victor.

"And what if Patricia and Joy do extra their best, then I can go to the hairdresser, right?" Asked Amber.

"You must be out of your mind if you think I'm going twice the work," said Patricia.

"Yeah, I don't think so Amber, you're on clean-up duty with the rest of us," said Joy.

"Stop complaining and get to work now," ordered Victor.

In the meantime the boys were also mopping the floor to remove the glue,

"This is unacceptable," said Eddie.

"Indeed, Trudy is going mad and smearing glue everywhere and we've to clean it up," said Jerome.

"Well if we hurry up and cleaned up, we can still have breakfast," said Aaron.

"No one is having breakfast, I never have breakfast and that goes very well," said Victor.

Feeling disappointed, the boys continued to mop.

A few moments later. Victor was in Nina's room and woke her up.

"What is it? What are you doing here?" Asked Nina.

"I just wanted to see if you're okay," said Victor.

"I'm fine," said Nina.

"Good, because it was quite a serious accident. Especially if you don't know anything about it, it seems very annoying to me," said Victor.

"Yes," said Nina.

"Probably better that way, digging too much into memory can be quite dangerous," said Victor.

Suddenly Fabian entered the room with a tray of breakfast on it and small vase with a flower in it.

"Can't you knock or something?" Asked Victor.

"I just here bring Nina some breakfast, said Fabian.

"What nonsense. Nina's way too tired, take it and keep on scrubbing, said Victor.

"No, I'm actually quite hungry, said Nina.

"What are you actually doing here? Asked Fabian.

"Just to see if she's alright, said Victor.

Victor left the room and closed the door behind him. Fabian walked over to Nina and sat down with her. Nina sat up and Fabian gave her a cup of tea.

"What did he want from you?" Asked Fabian.

"He wanted to know about the accident," said Nina.

"And do you already know more about it?" Asked Fabian

"Something about a cliff. And something with an altar," said Nina.

"An altar?" Asked Fabian.

"The Ankh, the locket. Where's the locket?" Asked Nina.

"Calm down Nina, the locket is safe," said Fabian.

"But where?" Asked Nina.

Everything is safe, said Fabian.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry about Ryan," said Nina.

"It's all right, it's not your fault," said Fabian.

"I'm sorry," said Nina.

"I'm just glad you're doing better now," said Fabian.

Nina drank her tea and ate something. Fabian stayed with her. But what Nina and Fabian didn't know was that Victor was standing in the hallway, eavesdropping on them.

At that same time. Amber walked down the hall and saw Victor standing at the door of her room. Amber quickly hid in the bathroom. Amber saw Victor run away and came out of the bathroom, at the same time Alfie came running. Amber wanted to tell everything, but was in such a panic that no word could say.

Then Fabian out of Nina's room and walked over to Amber and Alfie. Amber tried to talk to him, but again she couldn't say anything, because was still in such a panic.

"What's up with her?" Asked Fabian.

Alfie put his hand over Amber's mouth.

"The sea witch has given her legs and in return she can pant very well," joked Alfie.

Amber bit in Alfie's hand and Alfie took his hand away.

"Ouch!" Yelled Alfie.

"Fabian, Victor was listening at the door," said Amber

"What? Asked Fabian.

"When you were inside with Nina, I saw that Victor was eavesdropping at the door and so he heard everything, said Amber.

"Okay, what were we talking about? The Ankh and the locket, said Fabian.

"Oh no," said Amber.

"If Victor really has heard everything then he knows that those things are in the house," said Fabian.

"This is really a total disaster," said Amber.

"Amber calm down," said Fabian.

"He will interrogate us all! He's going to find all the stuff and rob the tomb," said Amber.

"Amber calm down. Panic won't get us anywhere," said Fabian.

"We must run," said Amber.

"We mustn't run, we aren't gonna run at all," said Fabian.

"No?" Asked Amber.

"You two must follow him," said Fabian.

"We?" Asked Amber.

"Yes, you two must follow him, I want to stay with Nina," said Fabian.

"Okay, come," said Alfie.

"I will warn Aaron and Patricia," said Fabian.

Amber and Alfie went after Victor.

In the meantime. Victor had gone to his office and on the phone with Raven.

"We need to talk," said Raven

"When? Where?" Asked Victor.

"At the cemetery Soul Rest, right now," said Raven.

Victor hung up the phone. Victor took of his house coat and crabbed his other coat to left his office. Victor walked downstairs and left the house. Amber and Alfie followed Victor out of the house.

A few moments later. Victor walked through the cemeteries and without realizing it was followed by Amber and Alfie. Amber and Alfie hid behind a tombstone and spied on Victor.

"What is that creep doing in a cemetery?" Asked Amber.

"Have you ever seen Victor sleep?" Asked Alfie.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Asked Amber

"He comes to a cemetery because he wants to rest here, in a grave, his grave," joked Alfie.

"Ew, Alfie don't be so scary," said Amber.

"Sorry," said Alfie.

"But seriously, we've to follow Victor, but it never works this way because he will see us right away," said Amber.

"I've an idea," said Alfie.

Alfie walked over to a container of old funeral wreaths and picked up the largest one. Amber and Alfie hid behind the funeral wreath and began following Victor again.

In the meantime at school. Mara was in the computer lab working on an article for the school newspaper. Joy entered the room and sat down next to Mara.

"I'm bumped," said Joy.

"Because of your hair? Your hair looks good again," said Mara.

"Not because of my hair. Although it was a nightmare to fix it," said joy.

"Because of the anonymous letter writer? And I still think it's a bad idea that you want to expose him, this whole idea is that everything remains anonymous," said Mara.

"No, it's not the anonymous letter writer," said Joy.

"Then what are you bumped about?" Asked Mara.

"I just had a conversation with Mrs. Yates and apparently I'm failing math," said Joy

"Oh that's bad," said Mara.

"I need to pass the next test or otherwise it's going to be bad," said Joy.

"Then I'll study extra hard, if I were you," said Mara.

"But I just don't get math, like at all," Joy.

"I'd love to help you, but I'm busy with this article," said Mara.

"What should I do?" Asked Joy.

At the same time, Otis entered the computer lab.

"Otis," said Mara.

"Yes, that's my name," said Otis.

"Can you help?" Asked Mara.

"How can I be of service?" Asked Otis.

"Joy, needs a math tutor and you're very good at math," said Mara.

"You don't have to Otis, if you don't want," said Joy.

"No, I'll do it. I'll tutor you Joy," said Otis.

"Really? Thank you Otis," said Joy.

"After school," suggested Otis.

"Okay, after school. But can we've our study session outside, the weather is so nice today," said Joy.

"Only if you bring the grapes," said Otis.

"Deal," said Joy.

Otis sat down at a behind a computer and crabbed his camera out his bag to upload his pictures onto the computer.

Back at the cemetery. Amber and Alfie crawled over the ground so that Victor wouldn't see them.

"Disgusting! I'm all dirty," said Amber.

"I would rather worry about the dead and that they won't pull you down," said Alfie.

"Alfie stop it, you're freaking me out," said Amber.

"I'm just trying to warn you," said Alfie.

"Shh, there you have Victor," said Amber.

Amber and Alfie hid behind a tombstone and saw Victor and Raven talking. Raven had the photo of the secret wall in his hand

"We're overlooking something," said Raven,

"But what is it?" Asked Victor.

"Wait," said Raven.

"What is it?" Asked Victor.

"This is unbelievable," said Raven.

"What?" Asked Victor

"This code is not a date, this is self-made silly message," said Raven

"I don't understand it," said Victor.

"What do you understand actually?" Asked Raven, sarcastically.

"But what is it?" Asked Victor.

"This is an ordinary teenage love message, altered using Egyptian numerals," said Raven.

"How is that possible?" Asked Victor.

"You should know that, you gave me this nonsense," said Raven.

"Nothing is lost yet. It's only a matter of time before I get the locket and the Ankh back, they're in the" house," said Victor.

"What about her memory?" Asked Raven.

Suddenly Alfie had to sneeze, Amber managed to put her hand in front of his nose just in time. Amber and Alfie managed to duck just in time for Victor and Raven to spot them. Victor and Raven looked away. Amber and Alfie reappeared cautiously. Amber cleaned off her hand on Alfie's blazer

"And her memory?" Asked Raven.

"She still doesn't know what happened," said Victor.

"That's at least a good thing. Get your hands on those things or else there will be more victims," said Raven.

"I'm going to work right away," said Victor.

"You better do, the tomb is mine," said Raven

Amber and Alfie couldn't believe their ears. But now they knew about Raven. Will Amber and Alfie be able to warn the club about Raven?
