House of Tutors:

Amber and Alfie were still spying on Victor and Raven.

"I'm going. The locket and the Ankh must be in the house the house somewhere," said Victor.

"Do not disappoint me," said Raven.

Alfie had to sneeze again, Amber pinched his nose and the two ducked. Victor turned to see what was going on and when he turned back Raven disappeared. Victor left the cemetery. Amber and Alfie emerged from behind the tombstone, only seeing the smoke of Raven's smoke bomb.

"What a creep," said Amber.

"Where did he go to?" Asked Alfie.

Amber and Alfie walked across the cemetery to the exit.

"What do we do now?" Asked Amber.

"We're going after him," said Alfie.

"Did you see that man? That was so scary, with what that mask. Who is that?" Asked Amber.

"Well you couldn't really see that because of that mask," said Alfie.

"We must warn the others now!" Said Amber, as she started walking.

"Amber," said Alfie.

"No, we really need to hurry up before it's too late or Tutankhamun and Amneris will never be reunited and Nina's grandma will never wake up," said Amber.

"The school is this way," said Alfie, as he pointed to the right direction.

"Oh right," said Amber.

Amber walked over to Alfie and they went to school together.

Back at the house. The spirit of the beautiful was wandering to the hall of Anubis house. The spirit entered Nina's room and saw Nina sleeping. Nina began to wake up and the spirit quickly disappeared.

"Hello is someone there? Fabian?" Asked Nina, as she was sleepy.

No-one answered and Nina went back to sleep.

In the meantime at school. Patricia, Joy and Fiona walked to the computer lab and took a letter from the mailbox.

"There's another letter," said Joy.

"Open it," said Fiona.

Joy opened the letter and began to read.

"Dear Delilah, I've a big problem. I'm so in love with a girl here at school, she is my dream woman. She has beautiful brown eyes. She's quirky, creative, bubbly, artsy, and sometimes a bit dramatic, but that's what I really like about her," said Joy.

"Wow this boy has got it bad," said Patricia.

"He really means me," said Joy.

"How can you be so sure?" Asked Fiona.

"He describes my personality to the tee. He must be super sweet, nice, romantic and cool," said Joy.

"How can you be sure? You know how those writers types are a bit geeky and maybe he has a nose like Pinocchio," said Patricia.

"No way, he's really romantic, that's why he's doing this," said Joy.

"Hey ladies," said Otis, as he entered the computer lab.

"Hey Otis," said Fiona.

"And he probably wants me to go somewhere and then he'll have food and candles," said Joy.

"What has gotten into her?" Asked Otis.

"She's a little bit in love with that secret letter writer," said Fiona.

"For real?" Asked Otis.

"She doesn't even know what he looks like," said Patricia.

"Yes I do," said Joy.

"No you don't," said Patricia.

"I know it deep down," said Joy.

"He probably has a big nose and floppy ears," said Patricia.

"Doesn't matter to me, because I like floppy ears," said Joy.

The bell rang and Patricia, Joy and Fiona left the computer room. When no one looked, Otis began to feel his ears and looked a little disappointed.

An hour later and class was over, after class Mara was at her locker grabbing some books, Jerome walked over to her.

"Hey," said Jerome.

"Hi," said Mara.

"Everything okay with you?" Asked Jerome.

"Yes. With you?" Asked Mara.

"Yes, my face is restored and I'm going to see my father later," said Jerome.

"Really?" Asked Mara.

"Yes, I'm going to visit him with Poppy during lunch break," said Jerome.

"Tell him I said hi," said Mara.

"I will do that," said Jerome.

"Okay," said Mara.

"I gotta go, Poppy is waiting for me," said Jerome.

"Go and good luck," said Mara.

"Thanks," said Jerome.

Jerome left and headed outside to meet up with Poppy.

A few minutes later and Amber and Alfie sprinted down the hall and walked over to Fabian, Aaron and Patricia standing by their lockers.

"Hey," said Aaron, as Alfie snatched the apple out his hand.

"What have you discovered?" Asked Fabian.

"First I've to regain my strength, it was a super dangerous mission," said Alfie.

"Victor had a meeting with a super scary man at the cemetery," said Amber.

"A super scary man? I don't understand it," said Fabian.

"He was dressed all in black and had a long beak," said Alfie.

"He had a long beak?" Asked Aaron.

"Yes," said Alfie.

"Guys please tell me calmly what happened," said Fabian.

"Victor had a meeting with a masked man, said Amber.

"It was kind of terrifying," said Alfie.

"They were talking about Nina. And Victor had pictures of the secret wall," said Amber.

"And what did they say about Nina?" Asked Fabian.

"That masked man said the code on the picture was wrong," said Amber.

"Code on the picture?" Asked Aaron.

Fabian thought back when he was studying the picture. and when he wrote a love message for Nina.

"That message. I made that message. So that means Victor stole that picture," said Fabian.

"But who is that scary man?" Asked Amber.

"And what does he know?" Asked Patricia.

"We must hurry with the riddle before Victor finds the secret wall," said Fabian.

"If he hasn't already found it," said Alfie

"Oh no," said Amber.

"Don't panic, we're not sure that Victor found the secret room," said Aaron

"The seeds of the purple lotus we must find those," said Patricia.

"And I know who can help us find it," said Fabian.

"Who?" Asked Amber.

"My uncle," said Fabian

"I thought he was in a coma," said Alfie.

"Not anymore. He's approachable, he just doesn't say anything back," said Fabian.

"Nothing at all?" Asked Amber.

"No nothing," said Fabian.

"Not even if you kick him hard?" Asked Amber.

"Amber I don't know that for sure," said Fabian.

"We've to make sure that Victor doesn't find the secret wall," said Aaron.

"Otherwise everything has been for nothing," said Patricia.

The club didn't even want to imagine what would happen if Victor found the secret room. They knew that they need to hurry.

A few moments later. Jerome and Poppy were in the prison visitor's area. Mr. Clarke came over and sat down with them.

"Glad you're both here," said Mr. Clarke.

"I'm also glad to see you again dad," said Jerome.

"You called me dad," said Mr. Clarke.

"Yeah, it's time I called you that," said Jerome.

"That makes me so happy that you call me dad," said Mr. Clarke.

"Dad you said you had to tell us something," said Poppy.

"Yes, I've got news and it's pretty big," said Mr. Clarke.

"What is it?" Asked Jerome.

"There's a chance I'll be released," said Mr. Clarke.

"Really?" Asked Poppy.

"When will you be released?" Asked Jerome.

"It's not guaranteed, but I've a chance," said Mr. Clarke

"What do you mean?" Asked Jerome.

"I've a parole hearing soon and if I win I'll be a free man again," said Mr. Clarke.

"And then we can be a family again," said Poppy.

"Yes, we can," said Mr. Clarke.

"What is the chance that you will win?" Asked Jerome.

"It's a 50/50 chance, but I'm confident that I'll win," said Mr. Clarke.

"Do you also have a lawyer?" Asked Poppy.

"Yes, he works pro bono but I've faith in him," said Mr. Clarke.

"And if you don't win?" Asked Jerome.

"Then I've to stay here until I serve my sentence," said Mr. Clarke.

"You're gonna win and you're gonna be a free man," said Poppy.

"I hope so Poppy," said Mr. Clarke.

"We support you," said Poppy.

"Yes we do," said Jerome.

"That's great to hear and I'd also really appreciate it if you were at the parole hearing," said Mr. Clarke.

"Of course we're at your parole hearing," said Poppy.

"Yes, we're there for you," said Jerome.

"Thank you, that means a lot," said Mr. Clarke.

"Dad we gotta go now or we'll be late," said Jerome

"Yes, of course school is important," said Mr. Clarke.

"Bye dad," said Poppy.

"I'll be back to see you soon," said Jerome.

"I like that Jerome," said Mr. Clarke.

"Bye," said Jerome.

Jerome and Poppy left prison and went back to school.

A little later at school. The Anubis residents had home room. Patricia was doing some homework and Eddie sat down next to her.

"Hey Yacker," said Eddie.

"Hi," said Patricia.

"So about our date?" Asked Eddie.

"What about it?" Asked Patricia.

"When will it happen?" Asked Eddie.

"Eddie, why are you talking about that now?" Asked Patricia.

"Because I really want to know when it's gonna happen," said Eddie.

"If you keep going like this, then never," said Patricia.

"Come on you promised," said Eddie.

"Okay, okay fine. Tomorrow night, but then we'll just have a pizza and ice cream," said Patricia.

"Sounds like the perfect date to me," said Eddie.

Eddie smiled, got up and walked back to his seat.

A few hours later and school was over. Joy and Otis were sitting outside on a rug. Otis was tutoring Joy in math.

"Okay the center of a circle is AB and it looks like this X - A2 + Y - B2 = R2. So the center is AB and the radius is R, explained Otis.

"I'm so not getting this," said Joy.

"Okay the radius is the length from the center to the circle edge," explained Otis.

"And you calculate that with Pythagoras?" Guessed Joy.

"Yes, exactly," said Otis.

"I get it. When you explain it I get it," said Joy.

"Me?" Asked Otis.

"Yes, I really think if you explain it to me every time before a test, I'll will ace every math test," said Joy.

"Really?" Asked Otis.

"Yes, maybe you should be a math teacher," suggested Joy.

"No way, I'm not going to be a teacher, I'm going to be movie director," said Otis.

Otis began to yawn.

"Are you tired already?" Asked Joy.

"I've been tired all day, it's because we had to clean up the glue," said Otis.

"Oh and those stupid fly capture tape, those things almost ruined my hair," said Joy.

"Well, luckily your hair looks good again," said Otis.

"Thanks goodness," said Joy.

"Yeah," said Otis.

"Can you ask something?" Asked Joy.

"About math?" Asked Otis.

"No, about something else," said Joy.

"What would you like to ask?" Asked Otis

"Do you think those letters are really meant for me?" Asked Joy.

"Why are you asking me that?" Asked Otis

"You're guy, maybe you know who the letters are meant for?" Asked Joy.

"Why do you suddenly think they are not meant for you?" Asked Otis.

"Well unlike Amber, I'm not the most popular girl in school," said Joy.

"Why does that even matter?" Asked Otis.

"It just matter okay," said Joy.

"Joy, I don't think you even realize how pretty you truly are," said Otis.

"You think I'm pretty?" Asked Joy.

"I think you're lovely," said Otis.

Joy was flattered by Otis compliment. Joy and Otis continued their study session.

In the meantime. Jerome walked to the bathroom and ran into Fabian, Aaron and Alfie who were on their way to go home.

"Hey dude," said Alfie.

"Hey," said Jerome.

"You're feeling better I see," said Alfie.

"Yes," said Jerome.

"Dude can you help me with the history homework later?" Asked Alfie.

"No I can't," said Jerome.

"Why not?" Asked Alfie.

"I'm going to quit history class," said Jerome.

"Are you going to quit history class? Is history like your best subject?" asked Fabian.

"History is for losers," said Jerome.

"That's hurtful," said Alfie.

"Thanks a lot," said Fabian, feeling insulted by Jerome's comment.

"What's even the point of history?" Asked Jerome.

"He who knows his past knows himself," said Fabian.

"Is that a quote from one of those silly dead poets?" Asked Jerome.

"No, this is actually my own quote," said Fabian.

"And what does bring you? Nothing. I've to think about my future, I go for economics," said Jerome.

"Economics?" Asked Fabian.

"Yes, that's where the big money is," said Jerome.

"And did you make any money already?" Asked Aaron.

"Dude if you have money can you buy me a lot of Mars bars?" Asked Alfie.

"Alfie I'll buy you that Mars bar," said Aaron.

Fabian, Aaron and Alfie walked away and Jerome entered the boys' bathroom. Jerome went peeing quickly and then he went to wash his hands.

"So Jerome is going for the big bucks?" said Mr. Griffin, as he was standing at the door opening of the boys bathroom.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Jerome.

Mr. Griffin walked over to Jerome. What was Mr. Griffin up to?
