House of Truth:

Nina, Aaron and Alfie were still in the cellar and had found out what Victor's plans were. Victor walked out of the cellar. Nina, Aaron and Alfie came out from behind their hiding place and walked over to the chemistry set.

"So this is his magic potion," said Alfie.

Alfie picked up the beaker and was about to smash it, but Aaron stopped him.

"Alfie don't," said Aaron.

"Why not?" Asked Alfie.

"If you smash this, Victor will know we've been here," said Aaron.

"Then throw it away," said Nina.

"Then Victor also will know that we've been here," said Aaron.

"Maybe we can make a new one," suggested Alfie.

"What do you mean?" Asked Nina.

Alfie pulled a bag of green candies from his pocket.

"Brilliant," said Aaron.

"Pour that stuff away," said Alfie.

Aaron emptied the truth serum beaker. Alfie took another beaker and put water and the green candies in it. Alfie turned on Bunsen burner and the candies started to melt.

"It looks totally real," said Nina.

"Victor will never find out our secrets," said Aaron.

"Stir a little more and we just let it soak," said Alfie.

Alfie turned off the Bunsen burner and left the cellar with Nina and Aaron.

The next day. The school day was short today and in the afternoon the residents were already home. The club was sitting at the table. Nina, Aaron, and Alfie had told the club about Victor's truth serum and what they'd done to me. Meanwhile, Victor was in the kitchen doing what he thought his truth serum was in the tea. Victor took the tea into the living room and set it down on the table.

"So since Vera isn't here, I'll pour the tea," said Victor.

"I was in the mood for that now," said Amber.

Victor poured the tea and gave everyone a cup. Amber immediately drank the tea. Victor walked away to the kitchen.

"Pretend like nothing's wrong," said Fabian.

"This tea tastes like sweets," said Amber.

The club started to chuckle and then Amber realized what was going on.

A few minutes later. Amber walked upstairs. Victor saw Amber walking and approached her. When Amber saw Victor approaching her, she knew she had to put the plan into action.

"Are you alright?" Asked Victor.

"I'm a little dizzy," said Amber.

"Come with me for a while," said Victor.

Victor took Amber to his office and set her down on a chair. Both Amber and Victor were unaware that Jerome was eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Now first a test question, something about what she will always lie about. Have you ever had any zits?" Asked Victor.

"Yes, so often," said Amber.

"It's working," said Victor

"Oh I see colors everywhere, said Amber.

"Ms. Millington where is the Ankh?" Asked Victor.

"The Ankh? It is buried very far. I don't know, I can't know, I can't keep secrets," said Amber.

"Where does is the Ankh?" Asked Victor.

"The Ankh?" Asked amber.

"Yes, the Ankh," said Victor.

"It's buried. I see sweets everywhere," said Amber

"No, no sweets. Where is the Ankh buried?" Asked Victor.

"Where am I?" Asked Amber.

"Calm down, nothing to worry about," said Victor.

"What am I doing here?" Asked Amber.

"You didn't feel so well," said Victor.

"Everything is spinning," said Amber.

Amber left Victor's office with a smile on her face, knowing that Victor had fallen for her story. Victor was frustrated that his plan had failed. Jerome took off the headphones and knew this information was of no use to him.

In the meantime. Patricia was reading in the living room, Eddie came into the living room and sat down next to her.

"Hey," said Eddie.

"Hey," said Patricia.

"Patricia can I ask you something?" Asked Eddie.

"What would you like to ask?" Asked Patricia.

"Do you've something to do on Saturday?" Asked Eddie.

"Not yet," said Patricia.

"Okay, would you like to go out to dinner with me on Saturday?" Asked Eddie.

"You mean like in a restaurant?" Asked Patricia.

"Yes, in a restaurant," said Eddie.

"Okay, sounds good," said Patricia.

"But there's a small catch," said Eddie.

"What is it?" Asked Patricia.

"Well it's not just the two of us," said Eddie.

"Who else is there then?" Asked Patricia.

"My father," said Eddie

"Sweetie?" Asked Patricia.

"Yes," said Eddie.

"Wait your dad knows we're dating?" Asked Patricia.

"Yes and now he wants to get to know Patricia his son's girlfriend and not just Patricia his student," said Eddie.

"Okay even though I think it's a bit weird, I'm still going on a date with you on Saturday," said Patricia.

"Cool, then I'll go tell my father," said Eddie.

"Okay," said Patricia.

A few hours later. The club was in Nina and Amber's room and had a club meeting.

"And the Oscar goes to... Amber," said Amber.

"He fell for your story?" Asked Fabian.

"Yep, that's how good I was," said Amber.

"Great, then we don't have to worry about that anymore," said Nina.

"Now let's focus on finding the 6 ingredients," said Fabian

"Did you find anything in the chemistry lab?" Asked Aaron.

"No, we didn't have the chance to do that, the room was occupied all day," said Fabian.

"And did you find anything in the cellar?" Asked Patricia.

"Only Victor's truth serum, but none of the ingredients," said Alfie

"We've to approach this differently," said Fabian.

"What do you suggest?" Asked Nina.

"There are six of us, I say we divide the ingredients," said Fabian.

"Good idea," said Alfie.

"I do Aloe Vera, that's the only one I know for sure," said Amber.

"I'll do the flower," said Aaron.

"I'll look for cinnamon," said Alfie

"Then I go looking for salt," said Patricia.

"Coal tar for me," said Nina.

"And then I go looking for Ferula oil," said Fabian.

"Then we've a plan," said Aaron.

"Oh wait I've to tell you something," said Fabian.

"What is it?" Asked Nina.

"When I was in the shop with Nina I took two books with me," said Fabian.

"Yes , so what," said Amber.

"Well the first book I used to solve the riddle," said Fabian.

"And the second book," asked Aaron.

"The second book had an interesting chapter and it was about the Osirian," said Fabian.

"The Osirian? What is that?" Asked Patricia.

"Not a what, but a who," said Fabian.

"Okay who is the Osirian?" Asked Patricia.

"The Osirian is the protector of the chosen one," said Fabian.

"My protector?" Asked Nina.

"Yes, it is the Osirian's destiny to protect the chosen one," said Fabian.

"What else have you learned?" Asked Nina.

"There wasn't much information, just that the Osirian has to be a male," said Fabian.

"How do you know that?" Asked Amber.

'Because the Osirian is always a different gender than the chosen one," said Fabian.

"And what else?" Asked Aaron.

"The personality of the Osirian is the complete opposite of that of the Chosen One," said Fabian.

"And that's all?" Asked Nina.

"That's all I've found out," said Fabian.

"But who's the Osirian?" Asked Aaron.

"Maybe it's one of us," said Alfie.

In the meantime. Vera was busy in the kitchen when Victor came in.

"Victor," said Vera.

"Yes, Vera," said Victor.

"The gas doesn't work," said Vera.

"The gas?" Asked Victor.

"Yes, no gas, no fire," said Vera.

Victor tried to turn on the oven, but nothing happened.

"Scum, jerks," said Victor

"Who?" Asked Vera

"No one," said Victor.

Victor walked away angrily.

Two hours later and it was almost 10 o'clock. Mara was in her room. Otis entered the room and walked over to Mara and handed her a letter and a flash drive.

"What is this?" Asked Mara.

"My latest photos," said Otis.

"And the letter?" Asked Mara.

"My resignation letter," said Otis.

"Wait what?" Asked Mara.

"I'm going to quit the school paper," said Otis.

"Why?" Asked Mara.

"I don't feel like it anymore," said Otis.

"Is it because of Joy?" Asked Mara.

"I heard what she said to you, about me," said Otis.

"Otis..," said Mara.

"I can't blame her because I'm a loser," said Otis.

"Otis you're not a loser," said Mara.

"It's just better if I quit," said Otis.

"If that's what you really want?" Asked Mara.

"I just don't want any more drama," said Otis.

"But you two are living in the same house and go to same school, so you can't avoid Joy," said Mara.

"I gonna transfer schools," said Otis.

"Isn't a bit much to transfer school, just because Joy rejected you," said Mara.

"Look I'm still super in love with her and if it means that I'm not near her to make her happy," then I'm going to that," said Otis.

"Can you at least do tomorrow's photo session?" Asked Mara.

"Yes, of course one last session," said Otis.

"Thank you," said Mara.

Otis left the room and went to his own room. Mara got up and left the room. Mara burst into Patricia and Joy's room.

"I hope you're happy now?" Asked Mara.

"With what?" Asked Joy.

"Otis is quitting the school paper," said Mara.

"What why?" Asked Joy.

"Oh don't act so surprised, you know that's your fault," said Mara.

"My fault?" Asked Joy.

"Joy he heard everything you said about him, he's deeply hurt," said Mara.

"He has heard everything I said?" Asked Joy.

"You've gone too far," said Mara.

"You're just mad because you don't have a photographer anymore," said Joy.

"I'm not mad about that. I'm mad at the way you behave towards Otis. He even wants to transfer to another school just to make you happy," said Mara.

"I..., said Joy, but Mara," interrupted her.

"You made him feel like he is some sort of criminal just because he's in love with you," said Mara.

"But this wasn't my intention at all," said Joy.

"He's still doing Wallace Grey's photo shoot tomorrow," said Mara.

"I'm sorry," said Joy.

"You don't have to say sorry to me," said Mara.

Mara walked out of the room. Joy began to feel guilty and began to think that she had gone too far with what she had said about Otis.

A few moments later. Vera walked over to Mr. Griffin's car and got in.

"Did you do what I asked you to do?" Asked Mr. Griffin.

"Yes," said Vera.

"And?" Asked Mr. Griffin.

"I searched the rooms but found nothing. I think that Fabian has put it in his bag and took it with him," said Vera.

"That boy is smart," said Mr. Griffin.

"What do you want me to do now?" Asked Vera.

"Keep up what you're doing and keep me posted," said Mr. Griffin.

"Okay, I'll," said Vera

"And what about Jerome and Victor?" Asked Mr. Griffin.

"Jerome seems to be doing his job," said Vera.

"Good," said Mr. Griffin.

"And Victor only gets bills, he's losing all his money," said Vera.

"That will teach him, no one undermines me," said Mr. Griffin.

Mr. Griffin and Vera shared a kiss, after the kiss Mr. Griffin started the car and drove off.

A few hours later. Jerome had sneaked into the cellar and searched it.

"Where is that secret room?" asked Jerome

Jerome knocked on the walls hoping to find something. Jerome knocked on the wall near the closet and noticed it was different. Jerome pushed the closet aside and stood at the entrance to the secret room.

"Open your heart," said Jerome.

But much to Jerome's surprise nothing happened. Jerome started to think that he had said the wrong incantation

"Open your heart to me," said Jerome

The wall opened and Jerome entered the secret room. Jerome looked around and saw the Ankh lying on the table. Jerome was about to pick up the Ankh when he heard the wall closing again. Jerome quickly left the secret room. Then Jerome heard footsteps coming his way. Jerome quickly pushed the closet back into it's place. Victor entered the cellar and saw Jerome standing.

"What are you doing in my domain?" Asked Victor.

"I thought I heard something so I came to see what it was," lied Jerome.

"Oh and what was it?" Asked Victor.

"No idea, I found nothing," said Jerome.

Victor looked at his chemistry set and got an idea.

"I'm sorry I scared you so, here take a seat," said Victor.

"I just wanted to go upstairs again, it's not so pleasant here," said Jerome.

"Not so pleasant, it's very pleasant here," said Victor

Victor put Jerome in the chair. Victor took the truth serum and poured it into a glass.

"Just this once I won't be mad that you entered my domain without my permission," said Victor

"Thank you. Can I go now?" Asked Jerome.

"No, first you gotta do something for me," said Victor.

"Do something? What then?" Asked Jerome.

"Drink this drink," said Victor.

"What kind of drink is that?" Asked Jerome.

"A drink of truth, because after this you will share all your deepest secrets with me," said Victor.

"If I go now and promise never to come to the cellar again," said Jerome.

"Drink," ordered Victor

"No I don't want to," said Jerome

"How awful it would be if something happened to you in this dark creepy cellar, where no one will ever find you," said Victor.

Reluctantly, Jerome drank the drink. Jerome, of course, didn't know it wasn't real truth serum. What was Jerome going to do now?
