House of Cinnamon:

Jerome was in Nina and Amber's room and walked into the club's trap. The club now knew that Jerome was the one eavesdropping on them. The club stood up and glared angrily at Jerome.

"Uh hi," said Jerome.

"Well, well, well look who we've here," said Aaron.

"If it isn't Jerome," said Fabian.

"The rat," said Patricia.

"I knew it," said Jerome

"Guys calm down, it's not what it seems like," said Jerome.

"You've been eavesdropping on us," said Nina.

"Okay it is exactly what it seems like, but I can explain," said Jerome.

"I'd really like to hear that explanation," said Patricia, sarcastically.

"I had no choice, my roommate sneaks out of his bed in the middle of the night and you are secretly talking about everything. I wanted to know what was going on and my so-called best friend didn't tell me anything," said Jerome.

"Oh so that's the reason why you put a microphone in my scarf," said Amber.

"Bribing didn't work," joked Jerome.

"You're such a loser," said Amber.

"In my defense I just want to say that I came right here when you were supposedly attacked by some madman," said Jerome.

"I was good, wasn't I? You totally believed it," said Amber.

"Not everyone would have done that," said Jerome.

"No, that's right I probably ran away," said Alfie.

"I knew you were capable of a lot, but today you've sunk to new low Jerome. If you ever do this again, I will personally make sure that you can find a new place to stay," said Fabian.

"You can't do that at all," said Jerome.

"Oh no? Watch me," said Fabian.

Aaron grabbed the bug and smashed it. Aaron gave the broken bug to Jerome.

"And now be gone," said Aaron.

"Loser," said Amber.

Jerome left the room and Fabian closed the door. Patricia grabbed Aaron's alarm of the floor.

"Can't believe your alarm just worked," said Patricia.

"I told you I'm an expert when it comes to this," said Aaron.

"Don't you also think that Jerome gets away with this way too easily?" Asked Amber.

"That's not so strange, that boy is just a little curious, "said Alfie.

"He bugged us with a microphone," said Nina.

"Except for Amber, that whole house pretty much eats out of my hand," said Vera.

"You're irresistible," said Mr. Griffin.

"Well that by the way Victor is looking at me, is starting to become a problem, I'm getting the creeps from that man," said Vera.

"Don't worry Vera, you won't have to stay very long," said Mr. Griffin.

Mr. Griffin took out a wooden statuette and set it down on the table.

"What is that?" Asked Vera.

"This is woodworm. A very aggressive form of woodworm, which you're going to bring inside the house and it won't be long before it is uninhabitable there," said Mr. Griffin.

The next day. The residents were already at school. Victor was sitting in his office and Vera brought him a cup of coffee and the mail.

Unbeknown to Victor, Vera placed the statue of woodworm in the house.

In the meantime. The Anubis residents had just finished a class and were walking down the hallway. The club was standing by their lockers

"Guys I've great news," said Alfie.

"What's it Alfie?" Asked Nina.

"I found my ingredient," said Alfie.

"Really?" Asked Amber.

"Yeah," said Alfie.

"Where did you find it?" Asked Fabian.

"Online, I'll go get after school," said Alfie.

"Let's hope it's real, because of what happened last time," said Fabian.

"Don't worry this is legit," said Alfie.

"Just make sure that the guy's dog isn't a male whose name is Sugar, because then you know you're getting scammed," joked Aaron.

"How is it coming with the rest of the ingredients search?" Asked Fabian.

"I'm still looking," said Amber.

"I haven't had any time, I'm too busy worrying about gran," said Nina.

"Nina remember why we're doing this to save your gran," said Fabian.

Otis kissed Joy on the cheek and walked to the boys bathroom.

"Joyful? Asked Fiona.

"It's sweet," said Joy.

A few hours later and school was ready. Joy was in the park and by the creek. But Joy didn't see Otis anywhere.

"Otis?" Asked Joy.

"Yes, I'm here," said Otis, as he came running. "Sorry I'm late," he said.

"What were you doing? Asked Joy.

"I was at the bakery, said Otis.

"Bakery? Asked Joy.

"Yes, said Otis.

Otis took some biscuits and a cake from his bag and a picnic blanket.

"What is this? Asked Joy.

"This is a romantic picnic, said Otis.

Otis put the rug down and put the food on it. Otis sat down and Joy sat down with him. Otis poured some beverages in two glasses and passed a glass to Joy.

"For you my Joyful," said Otis.

"Thank you," said Joy.

"To us," said Otis.

Joy and Otis toasted and enjoyed their picnic

In the meantime in the house. Jerome was in his room. Alfie entered the room.

"Hi," said Jerome.

But Alfie said nothing back and ignored Jerome.

"Are you going to ignore me now?" Asked Jerome.

"I don't have time for a conversation with you," said Alfie.

"Let me guess you gotta do something for that club of friends of yours?" Said Jerome.

"Are you still mad about that blackmail thing?" Asked Jerome

"A little, because it shows how far you can go to get something," said Alfie.

"Alfie I'm sorry," said Jerome.

"Save your apologies, I don't have time for this," said Alfie.

"Yeah, you go on and do the things for your friends that I can't know about," said Jerome.

"At least I still have friends," said Alfie.

Alfie left the room and went to his appointment to get the cinnamon.

Back in the park. Joy and Otis were still having a picnic together.

"This is so sweet that you did this," said Joy.

"It is not a problem," said Otis.

"Can I ask you something?" Asked Joy.

"Sure, you always," said Otis.

"Since when are you in love with me?" Asked Joy.

"Well I always thought you were the cutest girl of all the girls in the house," said Otis.

"Really?" Asked Joy.

"Yes," said Otis.

"And the crush?" Asked Joy.

"Well, when we started the school paper, we got to know each other a lot more and I got to know you better. But my crush started when we had that hot dog eating contest," said Otis.

"So all it took was for me to stuff myself with hot dogs," said Joy.

"You looked very cute when you did that," said Otis.

Joy and Otis laughed at the comments.

"But it wasn't all that fun to see you fall in love with someone else," said Otis.

"You mean Ryan?" Asked Joy.

"Yes, Ryan," said Otis.

"I still can't believe I was attracted to that rat," said Joy.

"I can understand somehow girls would be attracted to, he isn't ugly," said Otis.

"Okay yes Ryan is super handsome, but he remains a rat and I was never really in love with him," said Joy.

"It was super satisfying to watch you ladies to throw those drinks in his face," said Otis.

"Oh it was satisfying to do," said Joy.

"I still have that footage of that," said Otis.

"The cinnamon, I found it," said Alfie.

"Really?" Asked Fabian.

"Yes," said Alfie.

Alfie took a tube of orange-brown liquid from his bag and handed it to Fabian. Fabian opened the tube and smelled it.

"It really is cinnamon. you really found it, said Fabian.

"Of course because I'm Super Alfie, said Alfie.

Alfie sat down on the chair, but fell. Alfie grabbed the curtain, but the rail broke and the curtain came down.

"Alfie are you okay?" Asked Aaron.

"Yes," said Alfie.

"What happened?" Asked Fabian.

But before Alfie could answer, Victor entered the living room and said the broken chair and curtain.

"Alfie Lewis," said Victor.

"I can explain," said Alfie.

"Do you have any idea what this is?" Asked Victor.

"A chair," said Alfie.

"A Nestor Haas piece of furniture and do you've any idea what it costs?" Asked Victor.

"No I don't," said Alfie.

"A 1000 pound each and you can pay that," said Victor.

"Me?" Asked Alfie

"Yes you or your parents," said Victor.

"But this was an accident," said Alfie.

"That's another 1000 and this piece of furniture is 800 pounds so a total of 2800 pounds," said Victor.

"2800 pounds?" Asked Alfie.

"Yes, I hope for you sake that you saved up well," said Victor.

Alfie looked shocked at Victor and sat down on the couch.

"Is everything alright?" Asked Aaron.

"I'm dead," said Alfie.

"No, your heart still beats," said Aaron, as he checked Alfie's pulse.

"If I'm not dead now, my parents will kill me," said Alfie.

Suddenly Amber started to scream.

"What is it?" Asked Victor.

"Worms!" Shouted Amber.

"What!" Said Victor.

Victor picked up a piece of the chair and saw that it was full of worms.

"Woodworm," said Victor

The statue did its job Anubis house was now full of woodworm. What will Victor do now? And will Anubis house now become uninhabitable?
