House of Worms:
Victor found out that the chair was full of woodworm.
"This is woodworm," said Victor.
"Victor the whole chair is full with it," said Fabian.
"How is this possible?" Asked Victor.
"I see a lot of wood," said Alfie.
"They're already gnawing at the foundation," said Fabian.
"Quiet everyone," said Amber.
Everyone was silent and heard the sound of the woodworms gnawing on the wood. Vera watched from the kitchen and got a mean grin on her face.
And while Victor was dealing with the woodworms, Jerome sneaked into the cellar and entered the secret room. Jerome took pictures of the wall. When Jerome had finished taking pictures, the Ankh picked up from the table.
"So you make my day," said Jerome.
Jerome took the Ankh and left the secret room.
A few hours later. The club was in Nina and Amber's room and had another club meeting. Amber had a tube of bug spray in her hand.
"Amber stay calm," said Nina.
"Stay calm? Don't tell me stay calm, our house is full of worms, this is an invasion," said Amber.
"The woodworms won't hurt you," said Nina.
"But everything that is made of wood will be hurt, the beds, the cupboards, soon the house will no longer be standing because the worms have eaten it, said Amber.
"Guys let's focus on what we came here for," said Fabian.
"Yes, Alfie found the cinnamon and Patricia already found the salt earlier, so now we need four of the six ingredients," said Nina.
"Two, Amber and I've found our ingredients," said Aaron.
"Where?" Asked Patricia
"We searched for a long time, but we finally found both the Gardenia flower and Aloe Vera at a garden center," said Aaron.
"Yeah and we're going there tomorrow to get them," said Amber
"Good work you two," said Nina.
"Nina, then you and I will look for our ingredients tomorrow if we work together it will probably go faster," said Fabian.
"Good idea," said Nina.
"Okay once we've all the ingredients we've to go back to the cellar to mix the ingredients," said Fabian.
"And what will happen then?" Asked Alfie.
"If all goes well, the next love step will appear," said Fabian.
"Sibuna," said Amber, while doing the Sibuna gesture.
"Sibuna," said the rest of the club, while doing the Sibuna gesture.
The club had finished meeting. Patricia got up and went to her room. When Patricia entered the room she saw Joy sitting on her bed with a big smile on her face.
"Why do you look so happy?" Asked Patricia.
"Love is great," said Joy.
"Oh yeah?" Asked Patricia.
"Yes, Otis and I had a super romantic picnic this afternoon, it was a great date," said Joy.
"Date? Oh no, I've my date tomorrow with Eddie and with Mr. Sweet," said Patricia.
"Oh dinner with the parents, that's a big one," said Joy.
"Yes. What I'm going to wear?" Asked Patricia.
"Now you just sound like Amber when you say that," said Joy.
"If that ever happens again, slap me in the face," said Patricia.
"Don't worry, I'll make you look fantastic tomorrow," said Joy.
In the meantime. Jerome sat in his room and called Mr. Griffin.
"Jerome why this call?' Asked Mr. Griffin.
"I've got something important to show you," said Jerome.
"What is it?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
"You've to put in some effort if you want to know," said Jerome.
"Not such a big mouth boy. Tomorrow at 8:00 in the park at the chess tables," said Mr. Griffin.
"But tomorrow is Saturday," said Jerome.
"8:00 a.m. and not a minute later," said Mr. Griffin.
But before Jerome could say anything, Mr. Griffin hung up the phone.
The next morning. Amber and Aaron were up early and about to leave when they heard someone approaching. Amber and Aaron hid in closet under the stairs and left the door a tiny bit open. Amber and Aaron saw Jerome walking towards the and saw him leave the house.
"Why does Jerome leave the house on an early morning Saturday?" Asked Amber.
"No idea," said Aaron.
"Do you think we should follow him?" Asked Amber.
"No, we've to focus on the task, we've to get the ingredients," said Aaron.
"You're right," said Amber.
"Come quickly, before anyone comes," said Aaron.
Amber and Aaron grabbed their coats and left the house.
Half an hour later. Jerome was in the park and walked over to the chess tables where Mr. Griffin was already sitting.
"You're right on time," said Mr. Griffin.
"That was the deal," said Jerome.
"What is important that you want to meet with me?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
Jerome took his phone out of his pocket and went to his photos and showed Mr. Griffin the photos of the secret room.
"The Secret Room of Robert Frobisher-Smythe," said Mr. Griffin.
"Indeed it's," said Jerome.
"So you didn't lie, you really found it, said Mr. Griffin.
"I told you so," said Jerome.
"Good work Jerome," said Mr. Griffin.
"That's not the only thing," said Jerome.
"What else is there?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
"Just go to the next photo and you'll see", said Jerome.
Mr. Griffin scrolled to the next photo and it was of Jerome holding the Ankh.
"The Ankh? You've the Ankh?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
"That's right, I've it," said Jerome.
"Do you have that with you?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
"No, it's in a safe place," said Jerome.
"Tell me where it is?" Asked Mr. Griffin.
"No, first I want to know about the lawyer you would arrange for my father," said Jerome
"Jerome the only way to get it is with a lot of money and you know how to get that money," said Mr. Griffin.
"I know, but I want a name. No name for me, means no Ankh for you," said Jerome.
"Well, if that's the way you want it," said Mr. Griffin.
"Yes, I want it that way," said Jerome.
Mr. Griffin took out his laptop and looked up something. Mr. Griffin showed Jerome a webpage with a man in suit on it.
"This is Derick Marshall and one of the best lawyers in the UK," said Mr. Griffin.
"And he can make sure that my father will be released?" Asked Jerome.
"Yes, but in order to pay we need the treasures from the tomb," said Mr. Griffin.
"And for that you need the Ankh, because the Ankh is the key to the Love Tomb," said Jerome.
"Precisely," said Mr. Griffin
"Okay, now what?" Asked Jerome.
"Send me the pictures so I can find out what's written on that wall," said Mr. Griffin.
"And what should I do in the meantime?" Asked Jerome.
"You keep watching those friends of yours and watch the Ankh," said Mr. Griffin.
"I will do that," said Jerome.
Mr. Griffin gave Jerome his phone back and Jerome left the park.
Back at the house. Victor was in his office looking for a remedy to get rid of the woodworms. Victor looked in the cupboard and took a plant sprayer and started spraying.
"So here it ends for you worms! You're all done for it!" Shouted Victor.
Suddenly the phone rang and Victor answered.
"Victor Rodemnaar," said Victor.
"Hello Victor," said Raven.
"Raven, it's you," said Victor.
"I've thought about it again and I'm willing to give you one last chance," said Raven.
"I'm listening," said Victor.
"When you deliver the Ankh to me, I will make sure that you're freed from all your debts for good. And I'll even make it very easy for you this time, because I know who has the Ankh, said Raven.
"Who has it?" Asked Victor.
"Jerome," said Raven.
"Jerome?" Asked Victor.
In the meantime Nina and Fabian were sitting in Fabian's room, the two were sitting behind the laptop and looking for their ingredients.
"Do you think we'll manage to find the ingredients in time?" Asked Nina.
"Of course," said Fabian.
"The others have already found their ingredients," said Nina.
"Yes, but our ingredients are a little harder to find, but it's not impossible to find them," said Fabian.
"I hope so I don't wanna lose gran," said Nina.
"And that isn't gonna happen Nina, we're gonna make sure your grandmother wakes up again," said Fabian.
"But what if the curse is too powerful and won't wake up," said Nina.
"I don't believe in the curse, but if the curse is real we'll stop it," said Fabian.
"I hope so Fabian, I hope so," said Nina.
While Nina and Fabian were still searching for the ingredients, Victor had gone to Jerome and Alfie's room to find the Ankh. Victor ransacked the room, but couldn't find the Ankh anywhere. Moments later, Alfie entered the room and saw the mess Victor had made.
"Victor what are you doing in my room? What are my DVDs doing on the floor? What happened to my bed?" Asked Alfie.
"It is suffocating here with woodworm, everything must be disinfected," said Victor.
Victor picked up the sprayer and started spraying again. Alfie covered his mouth and nose.
"Do you want us dead or something?" Asked Alfie.
"Leave Mr. Lewis, said Victor.
"But I want to go into my room," said Alfie.
"That's not going to happen," said Victor.
Victor pushed Alfie out of the room and closed the door.
A few hours later. Patricia was in her room getting ready for her date with Eddie.
"What am I going wear?" Asked Patricia.
"A dress of course, you're going to eat in a fancy restaurant,
"Don't remind me, I'm nervous enough already," said Patricia.
"I never seen you like this," said Joy.
"If you ever tell anyone about this I'll deny it, but I just really like Eddie so much and I don't want to mess it up," said Patricia
"But Eddie likes you the way you're," said Joy
"Yes, but his father is the principal of the school and he already knows me," said Patricia.
"Yeah, that's a bit of a downer," said Joy.
"And it's a bit awkward anyway to go out to dinner with one of your teachers," said Patricia.
"Yeah, that seems like an awkward to me too," said Joy.
"That's why I don't wanna mess it up," said Patricia.
"Just control your nerves and everything will be fine," said Joy.
"Thank you Joy," said Patricia.
"Here you've to wear this one," said Joy.
Joy took a dress from the closet and handed it to Patricia.
In the meantime in Fabian and Eddie's room. Eddie was also getting ready for his date with Patricia. And Fabian was doing some reading.
"Are you nervous for your date?" Asked Fabian.
"No, I'm just going out to dinner with my girlfriend and my father," said Eddie.
"If you say so," said Fabian.
"Okay maybe I'm a little bit nervous," said Eddie.
"That's not bad, I makes you human just like the rest of us," said Fabian.
"I just want it to go well and not being totally awkward and stuff," said Eddie.
"Because your father is the principal of the school and your girlfriend is one of his pupils," said Fabian.
"Yeah, that's actually my main concern," said Eddie
"I'm sure it'll be fine, said Fabian.
"I hope so, because there is kinda something like a surprise twist waiting, said Eddie
Five minutes later and Eddie was in the hall at the bottom of the stairs. Patricia came down the stairs. Eddie was speechless when he saw Patricia.
"Did you lose your tongue Numbskull?" Asked Patricia in a teasing way.
"Wow Yacker, you look..., wow," said Eddie.
"I'm going to take that as a compliment," said Patricia.
"Shall we go?" Asked Eddie.
"Yes," said Patricia.
Eddie and Patricia left the house and went to the restaurant.
A few moments later, Eddie and Patricia arrived at the restaurant where Mr. Sweet was already waiting for them.
"Edison," said Mr. Sweet.
"Dad," said Eddie.
"Hello Mr. Sweet," said Patricia
"Ms. Will... I mean Patricia you look lovely," said Mr. Sweet.
"Thank you Mr. Sweet," said Patricia.
"Shall we go inside?" Suggested Eddie.
"Yes, let's go inside," said Mr. Sweet
Patricia, Eddie, and Mr. Sweet entered the restaurant and sat down at the table.
"Shall we order something to drink?" Asked Eddie.
"Just a little while longer Edison," said Mr. Sweet.
"For what are we waiting?" Asked Patricia.
A few seconds later, Mrs. Delaney walked into the restaurant and walked over to the table where Patricia, Eddie and Mr. Sweet were sitting.
"Ms. Delaney?" Asked Patricia.
"Sorry I'm late Eric," said Ms. Delaney.
"It's okay, sit down Maeve," said Mr. Sweet.
"What are you doing here?" Asked Patricia.
"Eric has invited me to have dinner with you guys," said Ms. Delaney.
"Yes, I wanted Maeve to be here," said Mr. Sweet.
"I really love being here," said Ms. Delaney.
"What is going on here?" Asked Patricia.
"Well Ms. Delaney and I are together, as in a couple," said Mr. Sweet.
Patricia couldn't believe what she was hearing. How will Eddie react to this and will the date become even more awkward than it already is?
