Chapter 3 After the funeral

Trina's POV

After the death and funeral of my baby sister, I was never the same again. I started to drink alcohol, and gained a lot of weight. I also started smoking. I know it's not good for you but if my baby sister was still alive, she would tell me not to do it. But after everything happened with my baby sister, with Blake trying to kill her and Jake, I couldn't control myself at all. I remember a long time ago when Jake, Izzy, Cubby, Skully, and Peter Pan first arrived at The Vega house, they were so young, and Tori and I were still teenagers back then. but other than that, I started to stop smoking and lose weight. because cuz I knew. My baby sister would not let me do this. That's when my phone started to ring.

"Hello? You've reached Trina." I said to who's ever calling me.

"Hi, Trina it's Izzy! How are you holding up?" Izzy asked me.

"You know just being alone after my baby sister died." I said to her.

"I know. to be honest with you Trina, Jake has never been the same either. Jake's hair spiky hair is now spikier than ever. I told him to get a haircut, but he won't do it." Izzy said to me.

"Jake, just go get a haircut. look at you, you're a mess." Izzy said to him.

"Okay fine, I'll get a haircut I'll see you in an hour." Jake said to her as he left.

"Well, that was easy." I said to her.

"I know." Izzy said to me.

"Have you heard from Blake recently Izzy?" I asked her.

"Yeah, he's doing okay. even though he's Jake's counterpart, he's doing okay." Izzy said to me.

"I'm surprised that Blake and Jake are now friends." I said to her.

"Yeah, that surprised me too haha." Izzy said to me.

Jake's POV

After an hour inside the barbershop, I didn't get a haircut I just fixed my hair. So, as I was walking home I could have sworn I saw Stephanie.

"Stephanie, come out NOW!" I said to her as I took out my sword.

"Hello, Jake it's been awhile." Stephanie said to me as I just gave her an angry look.

" I am not happy about what you did to BLAKE'S WIFE, and Tori's daughter." I said to her.

"Speaking of Tori, where is she?" Stephanie asked me.

"That's none of your concern, or business to find out." I said to her.

"Well, it would be sad if Izzy find out that somebody got shot just a little bit, huh?." Stephanie exclaimed.

"Try and kill me!" I said to her as I immediately ran home.

while I was running home, I called Blake.

"BLAKE! Your sister's alive, and she's trying to kill me." I said to him.

"I'm calling the cops right now, Jake." Blake said to me.

"Can you also call an ambulance just in case I get...?" I didn't get that last word out of my mouth.

*BANG*

Blake's POV

Once I heard a gunshot, I immediately call the ambulance and the cops, plus Izzy.

"Hey, Blake!" Izzy said while I was driving my car towards Maple drive.

"Izzy, meet the cops and ambulance and me at Maple Drive I heard a gunshot. I think Jake got shot by Stephanie." I said to her as I heard her drop the phone.

Izzy's POV

As I immediately got into my car, I drove to Maple Drive where I heard an ambulance and cops going in the same direction I was. Once we all arrived including Blake, I got out of my car, and saw Jake on the floor, bleeding out.

But as I was about to run towards him, a police officer stopped me.

"I'm sorry ma'am you can't pass through here." The police officer told

"No, that's my husband, I need to see my husband please." I said to him.

"Ma'am I assure you that everything's under control." Another police officer exclaimed.

"It's okay, it's okay, she's with me, I called her." Blake said to them as the police officer let me threw.

"Oh, my god, JAKE!" I screamed.

"Izzy, I'm bleeding out rapidly, threw my leg. Stephanie shot me in the leg, just so she can get revenge on Blake" Jake said.

"Stay with me baby, you're going to be okay, you're going to be okay stay with me." I said to him.

"Is this your husband?" the paramedics asked me?"

"Yes, I'm his wife." I said to her.

"Mrs. Hutchinson I want you and Blake to come with us to the hospital with Jake." the paramedics said to us.

"Blake, please?" I asked him.

"Jake's my friend now, and I would do anything to keep his wife safe. Ally would have wanted that too. Sure, I'll come with you Izzy." Blake said to me as I kissed his cheek as the paramedics took Jake into the ambulance while Blake and I rode in the back with him.

"Wait, did the police find Stephanie?" Blake asked himself.

"Yes, they did! They've got her, and took her to jail." the paramedic said to him as he smiled.

Once Blake and I arrived at the hospital, everyone was in the waiting room including Cubby.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.

"Well, we heard on the news, that there was a shooting. So, once the camera got closer, we noticed that it was Jake that got shot." Andre said to him.

"Where are the kids?" I asked him.

"They're in college." Andre said to me.

"Izzy, is Jake going to be okay?" Cubby asked me.

"Yeah, I know he is. he's my husband." I said to him.

"He's also our leader. Izzy, I don't want him to die. Tori already died, I don't want another one to leave us." Cubby said to me as I hugged him.

"It's okay buddy, it's okay. Everything's going to be alright I promise you." I said to him.

"Mrs. Hutchinson." The doctor called me as everyone got up.

"How's my husband?" I asked him.

"Luckily, we were able to stop the bleeding, and take the bullet out of his knee." the doctor explained.

"May I please see him?" I asked him.

"Sure, do you want someone to go with you?" The doctor exclaimed.

"Blake Cubby, I want you two to come with me." I said to him.

"Sure, Izzy anything for my friend's wife!" Blake told me.

"Izzy, I don't even know if I want to see Jake." Cubby exclaimed unassured.

"Cubby, Jake is fine he just got shot in the leg. But if you want to stay, you can." Blake told him as Cubby smiled.

"Okay, Blake and I will go." I told him as I kissed my little brother's forehead.

Blake's POV

As Izzy and I went to go see Jake, he was in his hospital bed.

"Hey, Izzy, and Blake!" Jake greeted with a smile.

"Hey, Jake! How are you feeling?" I wanted to know.

"I'm good. But my knee hurts after the gunshot.

"You'll be fine Mr. Hutchinson. Just take it easy. here are your crutches." The doctor said as he gave Jake two crutches.

"Wait, no surgery?" Jake asked.

"No, Jake you're fine it was just a gunshot to the skin." The doctor explained.

"So, I can leave?" Jake asked as we laughed.

"Yes, Jake, here are your clothes." the doctor said as a nurse came in holding Jake's clothes in a plastic bag.

Jake's POV

After I was dressed, I grabbed my crutches and the three of us left the room to go meet up with everyone else in the waiting room. once we got there, Cubby was the first one to hug me with tears streaming down his cheek.

"Oh Jake, I was so worried about you." Cubby cried.

"We all were.' Trina told him.

"Okay, since jake is now up, we can all go home." Robbie said as Cat pulled him back.

"Yeah not so fast." Cat told her husband.

"Look we need to stop Stephanie." Izzy exclaimed.

"Agreed, but she's too powerful for us!" Andre yelled.

"Well, what can we do?" Cubby asked.

..."Mwhahahaha you adults think you can stop me?" Stephanie's evil voice asked us threw the shadows.

"We are not scared of you." I told her.

"Oh, really Jake? Cause you wouldn't think of saving your wife." Stephanie said as she was holding Izzy by the neck.

"You wouldn't dare." I warned her.

"Try me!" Stephanie said as Blake came with a frying pan knocking his own sister out.

"Whoa, Blake, thanks!" Both Izzy and I thanked him.

"You're welcome, now let's go before she wakes up. GO!" Blake screamed as we ran, with I crunch
