Prologue

Weirdness everywhere.

'Ugh... I'm done', the brown-haired young man mentally complained of his own exhaustion.

He was lying by a window looking out at the girls in their PE uniforms but the fact that he had stayed awake kept him from being able to concentrate.

"Heh, this really lets the imagination run wild".

"You're telling me!"

"Shit, they're too far away and I can't figure out their measurements".

Next to him were a bald guy and another one with long hair and eyes hidden by his glasses, which gave him a weird aura... The aura of a pervert.

Such a description was not at all far from reality.

Those two were Issei's friends, Motohama and Matsuda. Motohama was the one carrying those disturbing glasses while if anything stood out about Matsuda, it was that he was bald.

Oh, and he had been a record-breaking youth athlete or something but that didn't matter anymore because he was currently just a teenager dedicated to photography, specifically, getting photos that would allow him to see certain "angles" of the girls at the academy.

Finally, there was that tired boy. His name was Hyoudou Issei, a 2nd grade student, not very remarkable to go on. The only thing he was known for was being a pervert with his only two friends.

"Ehh... My head hurts so much that I don't even want to look at it like this..."

"Tch, you're kind of right, why are we suffering here when we can go get a closer look?"

'... Stupid'.

As if it was a divine intervention to save Issei from the stupidity of his friends, the doorbell rang indicating the end of lunch.

"Dammit, time's up. Agh, so what, we'll just have to settle for the treasure Motohama brought".

"Huh? Treasure?"

... ... ...

... ... ...

After school, the Perverted Trio stood under a tree next to the fence surrounding the P.E. court.

"Sigh, how I wish I had a girlfriend...", said Issei looking gloomily at the sky.

'Hey guys", Matsuda interrupted the thoughts of his friends who were trying to concentrate on the girls in the area. "Did you hear about the three new students?".

"Oh yeah. Doesn't sound like something very interesting".

"I heard that one of them is a girl".

"Ah, okay...", Issei was still distracted. It wasn't tiredness anymore, this time it was because he could swear that someone was watching him from not too far away.

Part 1

"I-Index, please wait. Be reasonable, will you?"

"No Touma...", that excuse of a nun once as pure as silver now seemed like a terrible demon ready to end the life of the poor boy in front of him. "It's too late for that..."

What a subnormal situation.

As the moving crew removed the items owned by Kamijou Touma, it was agreed that everything in the refrigerator be placed in electric coolers to keep them from spoiling until they reached the refrigerator in their new home.

To Index this didn't seem right, for some reason she was fond of the refrigerator and had no intention of leaving it in Academy City.

What was his final answer? Index asked Othinus to chain her to it. How did the former Magic Goddess do it? One of the great mysteries of the universe.

"Seriously... Why are you doing this to me?"

"Boy, this is no time to play with the nini, aren't you going to say goodbye to your friends?", cried Othinus who for some reason was floating in the dishwasher.

"That's right. If I don't, Accelerator will throw buildings at me or the Biri Biri will turn me into fried chicken... Hrgh, that's scary".

'Ah!', Index groaned in thought. 'You're not going to leave me here in chains? Are you?'

"Well, Othinus-chan, take care of Index and the refrigerator", Touma said before slowly leaving and closing the door behind himself.

"Hpmh, now everything is fi- huh?!"

Othinus looked at Index in terror.

Smoke was coming out of her head and her veins were standing out all over her face, she was a ticking time bomb.

"Toumaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"

... ... ...

... ... ...

"So this is out of your hands", said a calm, unconcerned voice. The reverberation of the place gave it a more spectral feel, something beyond human comprehension.

"I can't say no. It really was a simple mistake that was as much out of my hands as those of Lola Stuart and her incompetent staff. It's even funny that a nun with hardly any knowledge of this kind was left with something as complex as student paperwork. And even more so if it belonged to an inhabitant of Academy City", said Aleister while forming a sarcastic smile. He found this situation amusing but at the same time very irritating.

"You have on your side that the factions that these individuals with abnormal values don't know that Aleister Crowley is still alive or that they don't even have any idea of the existence of Imagine Breaker. Had they known, I bet some archangel would have come to Academy City a long time ago".

"Abnormal values, huh? I guess that's a correct way to refer to these beings", Aleister began to recall what he observed during the 3rd World War caused by the now defunct Fiamma of the Right. He recalled what he observed and who he encountered. "Gabriel, or should I say, Misha Kreutzev, was affected by this. It is more than clear that in heaven they must have suspected something, but took no action in the heat of the moment? Do you have any idea why, Aiwass?"

Aiwass, that angel that God cannot touch, turned face to face with Aleister Crowley. He had no emotion even having the man known as The Great Beast 666 in front of him.

"There is more than one reason I would say. Either because of the chaos in the Roman Catholic Church back then or because they apparently have those 'Fallen Angels' and the irregularity called Grigori as their priority".

"That makes a lot of sense", closing his eyes, that magician let himself be carried in the tank where he floated face down. "Aiwass, tell me, did Grigori not investigate these 'Sacred Gears'?"

"That's right. Why do you ask?"

"... It would be a great show..."

Part 2

Kuoh Academy for Girls was having a normal day like any other. The students were walking around the grounds calmly, with no worries other than their pending work.

So, Rias, do you understand what Academy City is about》 ,asked a man with long red hair as red as blood itself.

"I would say yes, although that's not the issue that concerns me the most at the moment, you know?", said the red-haired girl looking out the window.

She could see him there, lying under that tree next to his two perverted friends.

I thought it would be helpful for you to know the basics, after all, Academy City was heavily involved in World War 3 and the siege of the Magical God on the Sargasso in Tokyo Bay

"You're right. Now that you mention it, you said that Michael was not happy at all after Gabriel was used in that way, he even came close to involving Grigori. We should be thankful that The Star of Bethlehem was so striking and unusual that it ended up getting his attention and that of all of Heaven which gave the Fallen Angels a chance to prove that they had nothing to do with it".

We were lucky》, the man depicted in a small hologram grimaced seriously and took a moment to think about his next words.《This did not involve any of the Three Factions. The closest pseudo incident that has been had was during the named British Halloween

"Sigh... The last thing we want is another war...", the girl was still looking intently out the window. She was watching him, her new interest calling out to him.

What's wrong with you Rias? You seem to be distracted

"It's nothing brother... But well, since you've told me that, I'll let you get on with your own business. I bet you have your hands full".

《O-oh right. I have to finish all this paperwork or Grayfia will hang me alive... again》, Rias' brother started to panic a little after mentioning his wife. He was really afraid of her.《W-whatever. Take care of yourself Rias, say hi to Akeno-san, Koneko-san, Kiba-kun and the rest from me

"I'll remember".

The small projection in front of Rias disappeared in a moment, it was so the girl took the opportunity to start sighing several times.

"And now...", she said looking more intensely at that boy and the red-haired girl who had just approached her. "Where is this going to take you?"

... ... ...

... ... ...

The atmosphere around those boys had changed to one completely opposite to that of yesterday's lunch break. Especially that of Hyoudou Issei.

"Issei..."

"Are you... well?"

Matsuda and Motohama looked worriedly at the goofy smile forming on Issei's face. They thought his brain had finally suffered the damage from that chase he suffered from the Kendo Club when they caught him peeping in the locker room.

"Better than ever my dear comrades! This, boys, this is my Sunday! From that day on, my life will change", Issei said showing a thumbs up and a confident smile.

"And that...?"

"Is that why?"

"I... Hyoudou Issei. A virgin boy, lover of glorious breasts... I have a date!"

Issei shouted at the top of his lungs. Some people ended up giving him looks, but nothing that wasn't the bread and butter of the three of them.

"So? Surprised?"

The silence of Matsuda and Motohama were announcing only two things for this poor perverted devil: they had been shocked.

"Issei-kun".

"Issei-kun".

They both said at the same time with a monotonous tone while placing their right hands on Issei's shoulders.

"Are you serious?"

"Are you serious?"

"But of course! You should see her! Her long black hair, her excellent figure, her breasts! Oh, by the way, her name's Amano Yuum-"

"Fucking traitor!"

"Fucking traitor!"

And so, the students of the Kuoh Academy for Girls witnessed a great internal dispute between the Perverted Trio.

In the end, none of them won...

Part 3

Kamijou Touma was walking the streets of Academy City for possibly the last time. In his mind, all the situations he experienced there were engraved, from that fight with Sherry Cromwell's Golem of the Anglican Church, his encounter against Vento of The Front and even remembering when he had been drunk in them after Leivinia Birdway had pulled him out of the Arctic Sea, or at least trying to reconstruct the memory.

Academy City was noisy and full of conflict. It had always created problems for Touma, whether it was those urban legends or his repeated encounters with the Level 5s.

All this had increased since he met Index... Or 'thought' he had met...

Despite all its cons, Touma would miss the place that made him form so many bonds and encounter so many 'worlds'.

"Maybe I'll come back next year..."

Out of nowhere a can was thrown into Touma's stomach. The poor guy had to use a pole as a support for a few minutes.

"Hey you!"

Touma knew whose voice that was. Usually, after his warning, he ended up electrocuted for some absurd reason.

"Misaka-san, please don't do that. I'm on Judgment duty!"

"Tch".

The blue sparks that had begun to erupt more and more gradually subsided until they disappeared. But not before the girl who produced them complained.

"M-my savior...", said Kamijou as he looked exhaustedly at the girl with, flowers on her head? And a Judgment band.

'Mikoto doesn't know how to hold back', thought Uiharu as he watched pitifully as that boy sought to catch his breath.

"Explain yourself quickly. What do you mean, you're leaving town? Did you do something so stupid that you were banned?", cried Misaka Mikoto, the 3rd in the rank of Level 5. She was an electromaster known as Railgun. Mikoto had shoulder length brown hair. Her body was slim compared to the rest of the youngsters, that was possibly due to the use of the Railgun burning fat.

"About that... Not something I really wanted. It just happened and that's it, apparently someone made a mistake with my school paperwork".

"Damn it... Are you serious?", Misaka took out a coin and started playing with it in her hand alerting Touma. When she did that, she usually ends up using her Railgun for though she wasn't crazy enough to use it in a busy place.

Right?

"Wait Misaka, don't throw that thing at me please-", Touma was ready to receive an electric shock that would fry him for life... but it never came. "Misaka?"

Neither Touma nor Uiharu saw when Mikoto moved only to give the unfortunate boy a hug. You could still notice the anger in her, but it was overshadowed by an obvious sadness.

Besides, she wasn't angry at him if not at whoever he was or the incompetent one who mishandled the papers.

... ... ...

... ... ...

"Oh...".

In London, Orsola Aquinas felt a shiver.

... ... ...

... ... ...

"You better watch out where you're going, okay? I've yet to make you fight me"

"Eeh... You know we can still communicate, right?"

With a bit of electricity in her left palm, Mikoto hit Touma on the head.

"Auch".

"I know, but it won't be the same".

"You're not wrong there..."

"Hphm, I wish I could help you with this but if you say it was a paperwork mistake, then someone really did their job wrong".

"Eh, I'm trying to look on the bright side of things. New school, new people and I might finally get good grades".

'Agh, I'm going to miss Komoe-sensei'.

"I see it that way too, it's just... No one would want you to leave town. Just promise to be careful about yourself", Misaka broke away from Touma and took some courage for her next words. "If you don't do that, I suspect I won't be the only girl mad at you".

"Heh, why do I feel that speaks a little badly about me?"

A 'ding, dong' sound caught the attention of the three of them. The door of the tent in front of Touma, Mikoto and Uiharu opened automatically revealing a spectral figure. He was white, but in a shade that looked even sickly.

His red eyes due to the lack of pigmentation focused on Kamijou Touma.

"Ah... It's you", said Touma with complete nonchalance. And, as if it was nothing, he started to approach him. "Hello, how have you been, Accel?"

The ESper with the first rank of Level 5, Accelerator. An ESper who walked both the path of good and evil on both paths; Magic and science.

He had first encountered the Imagine Breaker some time ago, all to stop the Radio_Noise project along with the Level 6 theory. He fought by his side indirectly during World War 3 and granted him victory when that guy declared himself the enemy of the whole world just to protect that girl's smile.

"Accel? When the fuck did I give you permission to call me that?".

"H-hey, sounds good, doesn't it? It's better than... Hama-chi..."

A shiver ran down the spine of both boys remembering that time the third of them, Hamazura Shiage, dragged them to meet his female companions.

Needless to say, it didn't end well.

"Ehh, I thought you'd be with him. After all, both of them hang around the districts and are such idiots that they're right for each other".

"... No, I told you I don't have that orientation. Besides, I thought you were with him, I remember wanting to set up a playdate between Last Order and Fremea".

Touma as well as Accelerator paused for a moment to think. Where could he be?

The answer was more than obvious.

"Ah..."

"Ah..."

... ... ...

... ... ...

"Mu-Mugino! Stop this!", the poor delinquent shouted tiredly as he covered himself with a sheet.

A "swing!" resounded as a green laser flew by Hamazura slicing through the air.

"No! You owe me after your little friends nearly shattered my prosthetic arm!".

"Ahhhhhhhh! But it was their fault!"

... ... ...

... ... ...

"... He's dead, what a pity."

"I'll buy him a silver ferret... I think two other people have already said that", Accelerator formed a small smile. He started to chuckle a bit at Hamazura's possible misfortune until he focused his gaze on the girl behind Kamijou. "Wait, are you...?"

"Yei, now I'll have all the soda I want said Misaka Misaka as she ran over to consume sugar".

"Accelerator, come get this kid!"

In the distance, a kid and a girl called out to Accelerator. They were both identical to Misaka Mikoto, but Touma apparently recognized one.

"Oh, Last Order!"

"It's nice to see you again, Savior! Misaka Misaka says as she remembers our meeting in the subway mall".

"Huh? Were you there too?", Accelerator couldn't hide the surprise in his voice.

"It was to be expected. It's not for nothing that they say you run anywhere in Academy City like a madman", said the girl who was guarding Last Order. She had the same appearance as Misaka, only that she looked older and with a slightly. "... I'd introduce myself, but you already know me so meh".

Actually, Worst was trying to hide his fear of Touma.

"I didn't think there were so many girls similar to Misaka-san... It would be best if Shirai-san never finds out", Uiharu said quietly as he alternated his gaze between Last Order, Worst, Misaka and a candy stand to the far left.

"Well, I was just coming to tell you that. Make sure you keep in contact or I'll electrocute you", said Mikoto as she handed a paper with a number to Touma. She started to retreat, possibly back to Tokiwadai because someone present was making her uncomfortable.

"Whatever. Make sure you don't get killed wherever you go", now it was Accelerator who started to retreat in the opposite direction from Misaka.

It was clear they could not bear to see each other so soon. They had worked together in Hawaii during an attempted attack by GREMLIN but they still couldn't look at each other after everything that had happened.

Kamijou looked from one side to the other without knowing what to say. He knew well the reason for his displeasure and that what he was about to say could cost him dearly, but it was still necessary.

"Hey, you two!"

Both Misaka and Accelerator stopped in their tracks.

"You'd better watch out for the SISTERS! Otherwise, I'll personally come to Academy City and give you both a hard blow!"

Misaka just kept quiet, but she had a sincere smile on her face. She expected something like that from him.

The same with Accelerator.

'As expected from the Damn Hero'.

"Heh, now I see why you have him listed as Hero-sama in your contacts", said Worst, now showing his sharp smile.

"You'd better shut up!"

Kamijou Touma just watched as those two took more and more distance.

He knew full well he would see them again.

"Huh? Did he say something about a hero?"

Conclusion

Illusions in the desert of Set.

The bell for the end of classes had rung, but even now the fight between those boys continued for some reason more absurd than the previous one.

"I'll have the best date in the world! You'll see, you'll have to eat your mockery of me!", Issei declared victoriously while being trampled by his friends.

"Y-you're a bastard... Stop lying!"

"Y-y-you don't deserve the love or the breasts of that Yuuma-chan... Aahggg, I can't believe you!"

"She's such an angel, so be quiet! I could never forget that afternoon, that bridge! That one-!"

On Issei more force was placed, until with a "Crack!" something ended up breaking that day.

It was the non-existent dignity of the perverted trio.

... ... ...

... ... ...

"Fuyikose, Hamazura... Well, it looks like I did say a proper goodbye to everyone", said Kamijou Touma proudly as he headed upstairs to his apartment.

He had spent the whole day saying goodbye to his acquaintances in the city and by pure chance, the usual bad luck hadn't interfered.

"Well... I'm in ho-"

"Human, no!", Othinus tried to warn him, but it was too late. Kamijou Touma had opened the door to his doom.

"Toumaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Index, who had bitten the ropes with which she had tied himself to the refrigerator, threw herself angrily at poor Touma's head.

"This is-!" Crunch!, at the first bite, Touma almost fell unconscious, but not before finishing his sentence. " A... misfortune".

"Crunch!"

That same night they left, the workers carried an unconscious Kamijou Touma in the back of the truck. Rather, they arranged his bed in that spot, and re-cost him there as he began his journey.

Next destination: Kuoh.

... ... ...

... ... ...

"Good! So everything should be perfect this Sunday. Yes indeed, it will be the perfect date", Hyoudou Issei declared excitedly.
