Chapter 2-Picking up the pace(Rewrote)
While Izuku was flying through the sky he realized something. His conversation with All Might did have a effect on him, but not the one the hero had hoped. Izuku was determined to prove his former idol wrong, not just that, he wanted to completely shatter his worldview all together and to do that he came to the conclusion that, for the these last 10 months before the exam he needed to focus solely in his training, which meant no more school. However, he knew his mom wouldn't be happy if he didn't finish middle school so he came up with a plan.
The next day he was at the principal's office, talking to the middle-aged man with suit and tie.
"Sir, I would like to graduate earlier."
The principal wasn't that surprised. Izuku was his top student and the professors even said that there were times they thought that the boy knew more than them.
"Okay. You have enough credits, so I think you should be able to graduate in six months, give or take."
"No,no,no. I want to graduate today."
Now that surprised him.
"Izuku, you have to understand that even if you are smart enough to graduate, there's no way I could make a test this early. Be realistic!"
After hearing the man, Izuku pulled a bunch of papers with equations and texts out of his bag and presented them in the director's desk.
"Oh, but I am being. I already completed all the homework that you were gonna assign in every single subject. And if you check you will see that all the answers are correct, so I already went through the material."
The principal couldn't believe, there were about 5000 pages of homework and the boy completed it all after barely 2 months attending classes.
"As for the test, well I believe this should be enough."
Izuku handed a particular piece of paper and when the man laid eyes on what was in it his heart almost stopped. In that paper was the solution to a equasion but not just any equazion, it was one of the most difficult mathematic problems in the world. For 10 years scholars tried and failed to solve it and yet here it was right in front of his eyes.
If the school published this their prestige and financial backing would skyrock.
"So can I be considered graduated now?"
Well that was a no-brainer.
…
After arriving at home, Izuku noticed his mother at the living room and her face was livid.
"Izuku I know everything! What happened?! You said you would stay until the end of the year!"
Inko knew that her son's intelligence was way past a middle school level at this point but she still wanted him to have a school life. Even if didn't have friends she found important that he was around other people.
"I know you. I know you were acting strange yesterday. And you know you are going to tell me sooner or later so how about you pick the former."
So he did, they sat down and he told her everything that happened the day before and what led to him to making this decision.
"Izuku I can't say that I understand you situation and I am sorry that you had to through it but… I am worried, I know that it's your dream but you already dedicated so much to it you barely had a childhood, I want you to be happy baby and I feel like what you had to pay for this dream is more than it's worth."
He couldn't deny that. While most kids his age were hanging out with friends he was practicing sword swings and katas at least 1000 times a week. He had to sacrifice a lot, but still… he didn't feel sad.
"Mom…When I look at this world I see a lot of beauty but also a lot of unfair pain. The ones that are at the bottom of society think that they are less than garbage and the world around does nothing but push them down. The level of suicide number of quirkless people keeps increasing each year, so do the cases of children that suffer depression for having impractical quirks or none at all. I want to...no I need to show that they are worth something that if I could rise to the top then so can they, be their hope… You know how Katsuki treated me, right?"
Inko nodded sadly, she was good friend's with his mother but after the incident in their first year of middle school she decided to move to another district.
"No one should have to go through that kind of bullying and humiliation just for being different and if I can change that then not having a social life seems like a small price to pay… I am sorry mom but I am not changing my mind."
Inko sighted, her son's determination was one of the best and at the same time the worst quality in him.
"I know. And that's why you are so wonderfull."
She said that while hugging him tight.
…
At the same time, Toshinori(All Might) was at his house thinking about his meeting with Izuku the day before. The boy really left a impression on him. Not just because of the way he left but also because of what he said. That really made the hero put in question his way of thinking as of late.
He couldn't focus on anything else so he decided to investigate the kid that caused his predicament but there was nothing he could find, which was strange seeing as practically everyone had some kind of information online at this day and age.
He decided to ask a favor to the prime mister who owed him one. The moment the phone started ringing the man picked up.
"Hey! Toshinori, what's up!"
"Good. Listen I need a favor."
"Ask away. Your wish is my command."
"I need you to look up someone for me."
"Is it a villain?"
"No it's a boy. I don't know his name but he has medium height, freckles, esmerald eyes-"
"And messy green hair!?"
Even though he didn't tell the last part the minister seemed to be the one who was surprised.
"Yeah! How did you-"
"Listen Toshi, I shouldn't even be talking about this but since you are a good friend I gonna give you a piece of advice: DO NOT MESS WITH THIS KID!"
"What are you-"
Before he could finish the sentence the minister hung up.
"What the hell is going on?"
…
The next day Izuku was at a abandoned part of the beach that used to be a junkyard.
He was wearing a simple get-up, white sleevless shit with black shorts, the only thing that stood out was the smart-watch in his right pulse.
When he pressed the watch a part of the ground slid open to reveal the passage to a staircase. When he went through it the passage was shut again as if it was never there in the first place.
When he reached the end of it, he found himself in a gigantic underground facility with dozens of rooms. Izuku got this place as a reward from the government when he developed their new missile guiding system. Here he had top of the line equipment to make his gadgets and train in complete isolation. He told his mom that for these 10 months he was going to be practically living here, only returning home to eat and sleep and sometimes not even that. She knew there was nothing she could do so she just told him not to work himself to death.
He made his way to the training room. It was a white room of 200 meters with weapons hanging on one part of the left wall, he didn't reach for any of them though as he wanted to train hand to hand combat first.
"Initiate training program 61006."
What responded to his commend was a female computer voice.
"Initiating in 10,9,8-"
Before the voice finished the count down the walls slid hung open and 50 or so humanoid robots came out of it, all running towards Izuku. He wasn't surprised though, after all he was the one who programmed the room to do so. In a real battle the enemy wouldn't be waiting for a countdown so Izuku made so that room picked a random number to start every time so it wouldn't be predictable.
When the first robot tried to land a punch on him he just stepped aside, went behind it and punched right through its chest. Right after that there were three more coming for him in different directions, he pulled the closer one and used it as shield when the second one went for kick and then he bashed their heads together, crushing both. The last one was just in range and Izuku swiped his legs and stomped his foot in it's chest, completely destroying it.
The process continued like this for a while and when around half of them were already destroyed the room went pitch black. This was also a function he installed as he believed that there might come a situation when he wouldn't be able to rely on his sight and he wanted to be ready for it. He started paying attention to sounds around him, and the sixty sense of approaching danger he formed over the years. A robot that was behind him tried to land a punch in his head, but he sensed it coming, dodged it and planted a kick that sended it's head flying. This feat seemed impossible but he had already done it dozens of times.
Ten minutes later all that was lefts of the robots were their pieces scattered in the training grounds.
"Training completed. Clean up initiated."
A bunch of vacuum-cleaner looking drones entered the room and started cleaning up the place. The process would last approximately ten minutes, which was the time Izuku needed to take a breath and start all over again with every single weapon in the place.
…
(5 hours later)
After he finished his morning training session he went to his lab to complete a new project. The lab was filled with tables, science equipment and computers. He went to one of computers and pulled up a file, in that there were two diagrams the first one was of a suit of armor that would make up for his human limits, the rocket boots he wore that day were a part of it. It's made from a malleable material that was at the same time tough and easy to move in, however it was still just a prototype and far from the result he wanted, however his other project would be the key factor to solving the puzzle and it would change the world forever.
