Chapter 7- Heroes VS Villains
The following day was initially uneventful compared to the last with the students having to take subjects of normal high-schools like foreign language and science since UA was still technically a educational facility. Izuku wasn't that interested in it since his intelligence level was way past all of this, to put it in words it was like a physician with a doctor degree and PHD was listening to a first-grade lesson. So, although it may look rude, Izuku used the time of the lessons to get some sleep since his mom was all over him about the karaoke event all night long. This continued until it was time for the "Foundational Heroic Studies", when All Might burst through the class's doors.
"IT'S MEEEE! THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"
That, to put it mildly, loud introduction snapped Izuku out of his slumber. Almost everyone was saying things like they didn't believe that All Might was gonna be teaching them but he didn't thought much of it since he already knew way before-hand.
He gave the class introduction and said, right off the bat, that they were going to be doing a battle trial and presented them the hero costumes they requested before-hand for the trial in suit-cases. Izuku was the only that didn't have one since he already had his armor so he didn't put in the request.
"ALL RIGHT! GET CHANGED AND GATHER AT GROUND-B! THE GEAR YOU BRING INTO THE BATTLEFIELD IS REALLY IMPORTANT! AND DON'T FORGET! FROM HERE ON OUT YOU ARE ALL OFFICIALLY HEROES!"
After they all went to the location all wearing colorful different suits that they designed to enhance their quirks or just to look cool. When they arrived Izuku, already in armor but without the helmet, went for a chat with Uraraka.
"Hey Uraraka! Nice costume. I really like the space-man vibe."
"Thanks. Although I wish I had drawn the sketch a little better. It came out a bit puffy."
"Really? Well, I personally think you look great."
"U-Ugh! T-Thanks…"
Hoping to hide her embarrassment by changing the subject she noticed something different in his costume.
"Is this belt new?"
He was indeed wearing a belt he didn't have in the entrance exam.
"Yeah. It's a little upgrade I came up with. It has all kinds of gadgets in it, so it's like a whole-in-one package."
"Nice."
"HELLO EVERYONE!"
In the middle of their conversion All Might started explaining the exercise so they had to put it on hold. It was pretty much the same as in the manga: hero and villain teams, getting your team member through a lottery, time sensitive bomb, the heroes have to disarm the bomb or capture the villains before time's up and the villains have to stop the only difference was that this time Izuku got paired-up with Momo and Ochaco, unfortunately, got Mineta.
There were still some people left without teams so to pass the time Momo decided to talk to Izuku.
"Hi Izuku! You really took up a notch in the karaoke last night, it was amazing!"
"Ugh, thanks. I was a little nervous. I never sang in front of other people before."
"Well I can confidently say that if the hero stuff doesn't work out you can still make as a musician."
"Haha. Thanks but I don't think I would go that far. By the way, I like your costume's design."
"So do I. But people seem to think it's too revealing. Frankly I don't see what the problem is."
"Me neither. Sure it's revealing but it's easy to move and works well with your quirk. So what if it shows a little skin?"
"Exactly!"
Momo was excited since it was the first time someone saw it from her point of view. As for Izuku, since he was a expert in biology he already had a clear understanding of the human body both male and female so he didn't think anything of it. Just then All Might started announcing the teams that were gonna be competing.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE! I WILL NOW ANNOUNCE THE FIRST TWO TEAMS THAT WILL PARTICIPATE!"
Everyone was on the tip of their toes, some hoping to be picked first and others not.
"THE HEROES WILL BE… PAIR A! AND THE VILLAINS WILL BE… PAIR D!"
The moment the teams were announced Izuku felt a piercing gaze on his back and of course it belonged to Katsuki and of course they were going to be facing each other.
Katsuki, with a confident grim on his face, decided to provoke him.
"I can't to beat your ass in front everyone Deku!"
Izuku just looked away and ignored as he considered that this level of provocation wasn't even worth a reply, which pissed Katsuki even more.
"DON'T DARE IGNO-"
"OKAY! LET'S SAVE THAT ENERGY FOR THE TEST! ALL PARTICIPANTS TO YOUR POSITIONS!"
And so they did, although Katsuki was still fuming with anger but he was always like that.
(Pair D, Inside the building)
"Okay, so all we have to do is guard this bomb until time runs out so I think we should discuss-"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP FOUR-EYES! I WILL JUST BEAT UP DEKU AND WIN THIS THING! YOU JUST STAY OUT OF MY WAY!"
The reply infuriated Ida but honestly, in the short amount of time he spent with Katsuki he kind of figured he'd say something like this.
'Why did I have to be paired with him!? Okay, no matter I will just play my role as a villain as best I can! I am a villain. I am evil. Bwuaaaaa!'
(Pair A, Outside)
Izuku was staring at the building with a gaze so piercing it made Momo's heart skip a beat, though she didn't know why.
"Yaoyorozu."
"Y-Yes!?"
"I know strategies are your thing but do you mind if I say my plan first?"
"Sure, go ahead."
"I know for a fact that Bakugou will come for me the second the exam starts, he won't care about the bomb at all."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Trust me I know the guy like the palm of my hand."
The way he sounded so confident about it somehow made Momo's doubts fade away.
"Anyway, I will keep him distracted so you will only have to worry about Ida guarding the bomb. He will most likely prioritize securing it over defeating the opponent so at the sign of conflict he will decide to flee with it. His quirk doesn't work very well in closed spaces so all you have to do is cut out his path of escape, take him by surprise and disarm the bomb."
Momo was speechless. She prided herself in her intelligence and strategic mind but this plan was a lot better than the one she came up with.
"Anything you would like to add or change?"
"N-No. Your plan sounds perfect, let's go with it."
"Thanks."
"AND STAAART!"
Just then a load speaker indicated the start of the battle and Izuku was pumpet-up.
"Okay, let's do this!"

(Inside the building)
Katsuki was searching for Izuku in the building. He knew the battle was being broadcasted to the whole class so he wanted to eliminate that nerd as soon as possible.
"Deku! Where the fuck are you!?"
He was probably cowering and pissing himself somewhere. Damn coward nerd.
"Hey Katchan."
Katsuki heard Izuku voice behind him and immediately launched a explosion, but to his surprise there was no one there. That didn't make sense because he was absolutely sure he heard the nerd's voice.
"Sorry Katchan not there."
He heard the same voice a few feet in front of him and launched himself in that direction, but still no one was there.
"Wrong again."
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA! STOP FUCKING HIDING AND FACE ME COWARD!"
"Nah, I'd rather not. It's funny seeing you running around the building and launching explosions at nothing like a idiot."
"DEKUUUUU!"
The voice continued leading Katsuki through the building with the same mocking tone. If he was thinking clearly he would realize that this was obviously a trap but the fact that Izuku was clearly toying with him made him blind with rage, his only thoughts of destroying the Deku he hated so much, who looked down on him.
Following the voices he ended up in a relatively small room with closed windows. When he got there they stopped so he realized something was off. Almost as soon as he had that thought the door he entered closed out of nowhere and the room was filled with smoke.
He tried to bomb his way out but he the fact that he was incredibly disoriented made his explosions rather weak and to add salt to the wound the voices were back, only this time they were all over the place.
"Hey Katchan I'm here."
"No! Here!"
"Don't listen to them. I'm here."
"Which one is real?"
"And which one is fake?"
The voices were all talking almost at the same time, which made Katsuki even more confused. He felt like he was losing his mind and started feeling something other than ranger, something almost new to him, something he never thought he would experience in his entire life: fear.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP ALL OF YOU!"
Then he was thrown to the ground and felt something being wrapped around his hands, and he didn't see how it had been done almost as if it was a ghost. Just then All Might announced in the speakers:
"YOUNG BAKUGOU YOU ARE ELIMINATED!"
"What!?"
Katsuki didn't understand. Sure he got knocked down but he wasn't out for the count yet. As if to answer his question the windows opened and the smoked cleared to reveal a fully armored Izuku in front of him and the thing that was currently binding his hands: a capture tape. He was out and Izuku didn't even have to fight him directly.
The room was in a dead silence until Izuku eventually spoke:
"Well, that takes care of it."

To understand what happened first we need to know Izuku's mentality the moment the match started.
Katsuki looked down on others almost his entire life, making their lives absolutely for the solo reason that they were weak in his eyes. Izuku experienced it first hand and someone close to him had to pay the ultimate because of Katsuki's god-complex. So he decided to take this opportunity to make Katsuki take his own medicine.
He could fight him directly but that wouldn't be enough, he had to do it in the simplest way possible and with minimal effort so that the blond would his superiority completely crushed so he came up with a plan.
He decided to use the capture tape to defeat him faster but to do that Katsuki couldn't have any idea where he was coming from, completely by surprise. He used the x-ray vision of his helmet to locate where Katsuki was and stealthly implanted micro-speakers that he had in his belt in a way that would lead the blond the blond to the room where he had the smoke bombs. The bombs had to be in a closed space so that they wouldn't disperse and provide ultimate camouflage. When Katsuki got in the room Izuku hid on the ceiling like some sort of ninja and the rest is history.

Izuku went ahead to communicate with Momo.
"Yaororozu I dealt with Katsuki, how are things on your end."
"Well, it's being harder than I thought. Ida is surprisingly sliperly."
"Copy. I'm on my w-"
Izuku was cut off when a explosion suddenly aimed to hit his face, luckily his guard was still up so he was able to avoid a direct hit. You probably already know who done it.
"What the hell was that for Katsuki!? You already lost man!"
"MIDORIYA IS RIGHT YOUNG BAKUGOU! CEASE THIS BEHAVIOR IMME-"
"SHUT UUUUUP!"
Katsuki was already beyond any reason. The fact that the Deku that he looked down on not only beat him but toyed with him and that he was afraid made him completely lose his grasp on reality.
This wasn't right! Deku is just a insect! He couldn't toy with the great him like this! He couldn't be defeated! He was the main character! Deku was just a fucking extra!
He couldn't accept it! He WOULDN'T accept it!
Katsuki prepared to use one of the moves of his costume and grabbed the pin in his granate gauntlet. And All Might knew this move.
"YOUNG BAKUGOU! STOOOP! AT THIS RANGE YOU COULD KILL HIM!"
"THEN HE JUST NEEDS TO DODGE!"
He pulled the pin and a giant explosion unlike any other covered the entire room. It was so intense that it pierced all the way to the other side of the building and went into the distance. When it subdised all that was visible was a pile of dust but Katsuki was sure that Izuku got hit.
He didn't even care about the consequences, all he could feel was happiness for putting that nerd back in his place.
However when the dust settled his happy expression turned into one of shock because Izuku was still standing on the same spot without a scratch.
His armor was made with the most though and durable material in the entire world ffwasn't enough to harm him. With that being said he was still pissed. It was time for Katsuki to hear a piece of his mind.
"Wow Katchan! You surprised once again! I thought not even you would be prideful and stupid enough to throw a tamper tantrum with so many eyes watching and All Might himself telling you to stop but you proved me wrong. You are even more of a baby than I spoiled brat than I thought you were!"
Every word was like knives stabbing Katsuki's ego.
"I tried to end things without hurting you since this is just a exam but you sent a attack with the intent to severely injury and possibly kill me! And did you even consider the fact that a explosion that huge could compromise the structure of the building making it fall down and burying all of us in the debris!?"
"S-SHUT UP!"
"That's a no then. Expected since the only thing you care about is yourself! YOU WANNA FIGHT ME?! FINE THEN!"
Izuku created a long staff out of thin air with his nano-bots and started doing some crazy moves with it, partly the install fear in Katsuki and partly just to show-off.
"BRING IT ON!"
(Sorry for posting so late I had to travel for my father's birthday so to make it up I will try to post the next chapter in 5 days tops. Hope you enjoyed it.)
