Chapter 2: School

Alanna's point of view

"You guys should get to a corner so I can bubble you guys with the cloud with it." I told them once I stopped crying.

"Why?" Nightshade asked.

"I have to go to hell," I answered. "I basically have school today, but I only wear hand me down ripped clothes, plus, it's really awkward for you guys, especially boys, to see a female changing into different clothes."

"I respect that." Luminous said.

"You guys have the whole house to yourselves once we all leave here, but be back here before noon." I told them. "But I'm able to hide one or two of you guys with me."

"I really need light to recharge, so I'll go." Luminous said.

"Okay, but to warn you it's really loud in the hallways, and everyone except for my nine friends will be yelling at me." I replied.

"You only have nine?" Splat asked.

"I have none, and I don't regret it." Luminous said.

We all looked at him.

"What?" He asked. "I don't really consider the Doom Raiders as friends, just fellow villains."

"Those days are gone for us mate." Wolf Gang told him.

"Really?" He asked. "What did Eon do to you guys? Because he haven't talk to me or Nightshade yet."

"No, I don't think he did yet." Golden Queen answered.

"Probably you eliminate all of those lives." Nightshade said before Luminous jumped to tackle him.

I grabbed him before he started to punch Nightshade.

"Says the one who always steals!" He yelled.

"Guys, I have five minutes before we leave." I told them.

"You know this isn't over Nightshade." Luminous said before he nipped my finger.

"Oww!" I yelled.

From his bite I bleed out my purple blood.

"Wait a sec." Splat said. "What color blood does a normal human have?"

"A blood red." I answered. "Mine is purple."

"ALANNA GET YOUR A** OUT OF HERE! NOW!" We heard my abusive adoptive mother yelled.

I squinted at the sound of her and snapped my fingers and it changed into different clothes, then I directed Luminous into my satchel and tied it onto my belt.

"I hope you better have a strong stomach, because it's gonna get bumpy." I told him.

Then I grabbed my ripped backpack then I left the room, I went down the stairs with everyone yelling at me, I walked out of the door while the rest of the house went to their car, and my abusive adoptive father locked the door and they drove off while me walking, while people on the streets yelled at me.

I finally made it to school where people yelled at me and held signs that said "I hope you die soon, because you're going to hell!" or "Town freak!" or "Go to hell B****!". I went inside where my friends are and I hugged them, they gave me some clean for my to borrow before the end of the school day. I walked into my first class without my glasses because they're broken, I sat in the very far back where a bookcase was in the way of. I let Luminous out of my satchel and he sat down on the corner of my desk.

"I have to keep you here for the class." I told him. "I don't want you to get ca-"

My teacher came over to my desk.

"Who are you talking to?" He asked with a questioning tone.

"No one." I lied.

He walked back.

"You know that you are the town's slave, which means you have no right to anything, they put you here because they want us to continue torturing you." He told me. "Alright, turn the page to 23 when you get your books out."

"How did you do that?" I asked Luminous in a whisper.

"You can only see me and the others then." He answered. "No one can here or see us."

"Why didn't you say that earlier?" I asked.

"I thought you know." Luminous answered.

"Well I guess bringing my satchel was a waste." I whispered.

After the first four classes passed it was lunch, I wished that strange sub would show up and take me back to the realms like the time before.

A/n Although The legend of Spyro: Long live the Hybrid shows the strange substitute teacher was Ignitus in disguise, this story have its own separate storyline.

Everyone as usual was yelling at me, and I headed to an empty room, I closed and locked the door, I sat down on the ground and put my head between my knees. Luminous sat down in front of me, he looked up and then he flew up to me.

"Do they always do this to you?" He asked.

"Every single day." I answered.

"This needs to stop..." Luminous said.

"The torture doesn't stop there, I feel like there's no where that I'm safe from, even in my dreams, it's all a nightmare, I always feel like I'm in one everyday." I replied.

"We should get that chip off of you then." Luminous told me. "I may have to pull it out."

I used the satchel and put it on my mouth to block out potential screaming, Luminous then flew to where I was and grabbed it.

"Don't pull it out slowly, quick as you can to pull it." I told him.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

I nodded and he proceeds to pull it out, he pulled it out and I yelped in pain, the satchel fell out of my mouth and I whimpered. Luminous held out the chip that he pulled out of my arm, I was bleeding from where the chip was, so I used a part of a sleeve and wrapped it around the blood.

"This will do until I get back to the others." I told him. "We should head back, because if I drop out I'm still going to get in trouble."

"Okay." He said.
