Help is Around the Corner
Addison and Derek's trailer catches fire, and Meredith offers them a place to stay for a while.
Meredith stays in her pajamas for game night, because she figures it's her house anyway, and everyone knows each other.
Addison is in clothes, even if she was sleeping in them previously.
They join Cristina, Burke, Izzie, Alex, Callie, George, Mark, and Derek at the kitchen table.
"So we were thinking that tonight we could play some drinking games," says Izzie.
"What kind of drinking games?" says Meredith.
"Just classic stuff, like truth or dare," Cristina smirks, and smiles as Meredith's eyebrows raise.
"Wow, I haven't played that in a while," says Addison.
"I bet you have some pretty good secrets," says Izzie to Addison, and Meredith glares at her.
"Ha! Hardly," Addison giggles.
Meredith sits in Addison's lap at the table as she does for dinner, and Addison wraps her arms around Meredith's waist.
Cristina smiles at it, and Derek rolls his eyes until Mark pokes him lightly in the sides with his elbow.
"Alright who gets to start?" says Callie.
"Not me-" says Burke.
"Why don't we let Derek start, he's getting a divorce," says Mark.
"So am I?" says Addison.
"True," says Cristina.
"They could play rock paper scissors," George offers.
"Nah, he can start," says Addison.
"Okay then, umm, Burke truth or dare?" says Derek.
"Truth," says Burke.
"If you couldn't operate very well anymore would you give up surgery?" asks Derek thoughtfully.
"I'd do anything I could to fix it," says Burke. "Alex, truth or dare?"
"Dare," says Alex. "Alright, I dare you to text one of your exes and show us," says Burke.
"Dear Olivia, sorry I gave you an STD, hope you think I'm a stud-" says Alex as he reads aloud.
"I can't believe you gave my syphilis," says George.
"You wish it was me," Alex winks exaggeratedly to see George roll his eyes at him. "Cristina truth or dare?"
"Truth," says Cristina confidently.
"If I became a world-class heart surgeon and I won a Harper Avery, would you do me?" says Alex.
"No-" says Cristina. "Forget it, Evil Spawn. So Izzie, truth or dare?"
"Dare," says Izzie.
"I dare you to kiss someone-" Cristina says deviously.
Izzie looks at Alex, who clearly wants it to be a woman. Meredith and Addison look at each other with nervous looks, not wanting Izzie to kiss the other but too scared to speak up and say so.
"Dude, just pick Callie, I did her once so it's like, basically already done-" says Alex.
"You did Callie?" says Izzie.
"Whatever, it was before I met you," says Alex.
"Fine," says Izzie, as she moves over to Callie.
Callie's eyes open wide as Izzie leans in and kisses her. Her eyes stay open the whole time.
George just coughs and looks very pink in the face.
"Did you like it?" says Alex with a grin.
"Hey, no questions, that's not part of it-" says Derek. "Otherwise it'll take too long."
"Fine," says Alex.
"Mark, truth or dare?" says Izzie.
"Dare," says Mark.
"I dare you to kiss a boy," says Izzie. "What, Burke made me kiss a girl!"
"Alex-" says Mark, much to Meredith's surprise.
"Dude," says Alex.
"Come here, Karev-" says Mark mischievously as he winks at Meredith to let her know he still likes Mark.
Alex raises his eyebrow as Mark slides over and kisses him with his tongue for a minute before sitting down again.
Derek raises his eyebrows at Mark, surprised that his best friend would be that interested in that.
"Callie, truth or dare?" asks Mark.
"Truth-" says Callie.
"Did you like Stevens kissing you?" says Mark.
"A little…" Callie blushes furiously. "I knew you had a thing for blondes!" says Mark triumphantly.
George also blushes.
"George, truth or dare?" asks Callie.
"Oh come on, you're dating!" says Izzie.
"But I want to ask him," says Callie.
"Dare-" says George.
"Umm, I dare you to dance on the table!" says Callie.
"What!?" says George.
"It's structurally sound, Mer and I do it all the time when we're drunk," says Cristina.
"True," Meredith giggles.
"Fine," says George, as he does his best YMCA dance on the table.
"Derek-" says George. "Truth or dare?"
"Truth?" says Derek.
"Have you ever kissed a guy before?" asks George.
"Yes…" Derek mumbles, and George nods at him.
Addison raises an eyebrow, but she doesn't look all that surprised at him.
"Well, I already went so…" says Derek.
"It doesn't matter, pick someone," says Callie.
"Who hasn't gone?" says Derek.
"Addison and I," says Meredith.
"Right…" says Derek with a sigh.
"Ohhhhhh-" says Cristina.
Derek narrows his eyes at her.
"Okay, Addison truth or dare," says Cristina. "If Derek's not gonna ask you then I will."
"Dare-" says Addison.
"I dare you to spend seven minutes in heaven with Meredith-" says Cristina.
"What!?" says Derek.
"It's where they sit pressed together for seven minutes, and-" Cristina starts explaining it.
"I know what it is," Derek groans.
"Oh come on, you're getting divorced tomorrow, let it go," says Mark.
"Fine-" says Derek.
Meredith and Addison look at each other and bite their lips before Cristina leads them to a nearby closet.
"What are we supposed to do?" says Addison.
"It's seven minutes in heaven, you'll figure something out," says Cristina with a wink.
"Okay…?" says Meredith, as she crawls into the closet next to Addison.
"Bye-bye lesbians-" says Cristina, as she closes the door, and this time, she notes, that neither Addison nor Meredith bother to try to deny it.
