Help is Around the Corner
Addison and Derek's trailer catches fire, and Meredith offers them a place to stay for a while.
After the tacos, Meredith helps Callie with the dishes as Addison catches up with the rest of the crew.
This time they're playing a game of Headbands, where they have prompts on their foreheads that they can't see, and the rest of the group has to make them guess what it is.
Burke, Derek, Alex, Izzie, Mark, Cristina, and George all gather around the living room to play it.
Instead of teams, they're each counting up how many they can guess and competing that way.
So far Cristina is in the lead, followed by Burke.
Doc is sitting right in the middle of the action, and waving his tail every time someone cheers.
He's happily engaged with the crowd until a familiar figure appears in the window.
It's the neighbor's cat.
"Rr?" says Doc curiously at the cat.
"Mow," says the cat, as she hops onto the hammock, and starts rocking in it.
"Rr!?" says Doc.
"Mow," the cat shrugs, before waving her tail at him to come join her.
"Rr-" says Doc, as he gestures his tail to the window.
"Oh! Your friend's here. Do you want to go join her?" says George.
"Rr-" Doc.
"Alright, you just knock when you want to come back," says George, as he opens the door so Doc can go hang out on the hammock.
Doc jumps onto the hammock, and the cat curls in next to him, and Doc settles down next to the cat and starts rocking the hammock again.
"Where's Doc?" says Meredith, once she and Callie and Addison are finished with the dishes.
George gestures to the window, where they can see Doc and the cat happily in the hammock.
"Awe, he has a friend!" says Meredith.
"It's excellent for him. He has all these human friends but it's nice for him to have a playmate his size," says Addison.
"Well, almost his size," says Meredith. "He's a little bigger than the cat."
"The cat is more agile though," says Addison.
"True," says Meredith.
"I'm glad they're not squabbling," says Addison.
"Yeah," says Meredith.
"So I was thinking of taking you on another date tomorrow, what do you say?" says Addison.
"Ooh-" says Meredith.
"Maybe we could go to the new amusement park in town?" suggests Addison.
"That sounds thrilling," says Meredith.
"Oh one thing though, I'm afraid of roller coasters," says Addison.
"We'll fix that," says Meredith.
"Oh no!" says Addison. "I meant we could go on some of the other rides."
"We'll see…" says Meredith. "Now… How about I 'take you for a ride,' right about now…" says Meredith.
"You are insatiable," says Addison.
"You like it," says Meredith.
"Yeah, I do," says Addison.
"Let's go for a drive then," says Meredith. "There's a lot of people in the house."
"We're not going to 'do it,' in the car," says Addison.
"I never said we were, we can just fool around a bit," says Meredith.
"I see," says Addison.
"Come, follow me," says Meredith, taking Addison's hand into her own.
"Alright then," says Addison, as she reaches for her coat.
"We're going for a drive, have fun with your friend," says Meredith, as she pets Doc on her way out.
"Rr!" says Doc.
"Bye Doc, bye cat, we'll be back later," says Addison.
"Mow," says the cat.
"They are so cute," says Meredith.
"Agreed," says Addison.
Meredith drives them to the edge of the city, then past the edge of the city, to a deserted spot where they can kiss and touch in peace for a while.
That's when Addison pulls a surprise out of her pocket.
"I wanted to put on a show for you," says Addison.
"Yeah?" says Meredith.
"Look…" says Addison. "But don't touch…" she adds, as she takes off her pants, and her panties, and lets them fall to the ground.
"You're so beautiful," Meredith sighs when she sees her girlfriend.
"Awe," says Addison. "You too," she says, pecking Meredith on the lips before she continues.
"I can't wait until I can do this for you, Kitten," says Meredith.
"Me too," says Addison.
"Rawr," Meredith teases playfully.
Addison purrs, as she reclines her seat, and turns the toy on.
Meredith feels a rush of excitement, as she watches Addison close her eyes, and touch her breasts with one hand.
"How do you feel?" asks Meredith.
"Very good," Addison moans.
"Keep talking-" says Meredith, as she sits back in her own seat, and reaches for her belt buckle.
"You're going to join me, huh?" Addison teases.
"I can't wait any longer," says Meredith, as she flicks open her pants button, and undoes her fly.
"If I'd known I would have brought one for you, too," Addison chuckles.
"I think I can make do…" Meredith says lustfully.
Addison groans as she sees Meredith shove her hand into her pants, not even bothering to take off her panties as she works around them to touch herself.
"I'll race you-" says Meredith mischievously.
"You're on-" says Addison, matching Meredith's gaze with intensity.
Ten minutes later, both of them are on the brink, but as much as they both want to win their little competition, neither of them wants to let go without the other one being right there with them.
"Together?" asks Addison.
"Together-" says Meredith.
Addison lets out a strangled cry as she pushes herself over the edge, and Meredith joins her with a deep throaty moan.
They continue to climax simultaneously as they listen to each other's sounds of pleasure, and they take in each other's blissed-out expressions.
"That was awesome," says Addison.
"Yeah," says Meredith.
"I can't wait until we touch each other," says Addison.
"I know, me too," says Meredith.
"Hey did you get your test results back?" asks Addison.
"Not yet, have you?" asks Meredith.
"No," says Addison. "They must be backed up," she adds.
"Yeah," says Meredith.
"Do you want to wait for them, or?" asks Addison.
"I think we can still wait until we've had a few more dates. But if we don't know, then we could use protection," suggests Meredith.
"That sounds like a good idea," says Addison.
"I know it might not be ideal, but it's responsible, and I would never want to hurt you, and-" Meredith rambles.
"Hey-" says Addison. "It's okay. I'm into it. Sex is good if we're relaxed, and we're not going to be relaxed if we're worried about illnesses or diseases. And we'd feel awful if one of us gave something to the other. I'm willing to give that a shot if it comes to it, okay?" says Addison.
"Okay," says Meredith. "And from experience…" says Meredith. "It can still be a whole lot of fun!"
"I bet," Addison chuckles. "So we're cool?"
"We're so cool," says Meredith.
"I don't know about that," says Addison. "I mean, I am a nerd and all-"
"The nerdiest-" says Meredith. "How about I drive the nerd home so she can read a book in bed, and I can curl up with her?"
"Sounds awesome," says Addison.
And that's where they're headed.
Before they head into the house, Meredith and Addison fix up their appearances so it's not completely obvious what they had just been up to (even though pretty much everyone in the house already knows it).
They walk out of the car together, and find themselves tackled by Doc and the neighbor's cat, who has been paying together energetically.
"Hi, Doc!" Meredith giggles, as Doc paws at her side.
"Hello, cat!" Addison giggles, as the cat sits on her knee.
Doc and the cat quickly resume chasing each other while Meredith and Addison lie on the ground and watch them for a while, and hold hands in the grass.
"I want you to know something-" says Meredith all of a sudden.
"Yeah?" says Addison.
"I'll still love you, even if we don't have sex right away, or the sex is bad, or the sex is like, mediocre," says Meredith. "I really just love you."
"Yeah?" says Addison.
"Yeah," says Meredith. "Will you love me still, too?"
"Of course I will," says Addison, squeezing Meredith's hand. "I've fallen so hard for you."
"C'mere," says Meredith, as she rolls over on the grass, and kisses Addison.
"Rrrrrrrrrrrrr-" Doc interrupts them.
"Mow-" says the cat.
"Oops, guess we got a little carried away there-" says Meredith.
"Yup-" says Addison, as she pulls away from Meredith, and tucks her head into Meredith's shoulder.
"Rr!" says Doc.
"Mow!" says the cat.
"Okay, we'll play with you," says Addison.
"Just for a little while," says Meredith. "It's getting late," she giggles.
The sun has long since set, and Meredith and Addison continue to chase Doc and his cat friend around the lawn for a while until they're all tired, and Addison sends the cat back to the neighbor's house, and Meredith picks up Doc into her arms.
"Bedtime," says Meredith.
"Rr-" says Doc.
"Yes, bedtime," says Addison. "You can play with your friend in the morning."
"Rr…" says Doc, as he yawns, and starts falling asleep in Meredith's arms.
"Whew, he's tired out. That's a good thing, hopefully, he'll sleep through the night and he won't be stealing food from the pantry," says Meredith.
"Yeah…" says Addison, as she nods at Meredith trying not to look sheepish as they climb the stairs and get ready for bed.
