The Doctor woke with a groan, but she didn't open her eyes as she heard River's voice. It felt weird to have River back. It felt wrong like she didn't deserve this. Even though she was happy to have her back but…. "Doc?" Graham's voice rang in her ears.

"I'm fine," the Doctor said wincing at her side. The T.A.R.D.I. S made a noise making the Doctor roll her amber eyes. "I am fine!" she protected. River laughed a little and walked over to the Doctor's bed.

"You are hurt, sweetie. You also have been through a lot. Take a break," River told her running her hand through the Doctor's hair. The Doctor didn't say anything as her eyes closed.

"But..." she tried but Yaz shushed her. Yaz is there as well. Her best friends, her fam. A warm smile formed on her face, but she still winced at her side.

"We will be back later. Rest Sweetie," River told her before she and the others walked out of the med bay.

'You deserve to be in this prison. You don't deserve to be with friends you know that right?' The Doctor sat in her cell. She has been there for only a day and her mind kept talking to her. Saying things that she knew that was true. She was alone again. She's always alone. The Doctor sighed as her eyes opened. She was resting which she never does but what else is there to do. All she could do was sleep and try not to think about how her friends thinks she's dead. 'They won't save you. No one will save you.' The Doctor found herself thinking before she drifted off to sleep.

The Doctor woke breathing heavy, but she didn't scream nor yell out. She knew better not to alert her friends. They won't care about the fact that she was in prison and now has nightmares. They can't help her. Not with this anyway. The Doctor sighed as she slowly sat up, but her side burned. She doesn't remember how or why she was stabbed but she didn't care because that's weakness and she was not weak. Even though she felt like it. It was night, she was sure of it. She heard someone walking down the hall. She knew that it must be River but when the door opened, she saw Yaz and Ryan. "Hi, Doctor. How are you feeling?" Ryan asked walking over to The Doctor's bed. The alien however didn't say anything for the first night of her time in that prison still played in her mind. Her body shook and she hoped that her friends didn't see it. However, Yaz's eyes showed her that she did.

"What's wrong?" Yaz asked walking over to the Doctor and sat down on her bed. The Doctor however didn't say anything as she still shook. "Hey, we are here. Do you want a hug?" Yaz asked looking at Ryan who sat down on the bed as well. The Doctor wiped the tears from her eyes with her shaking hand and nodded slowly. Soon Yaz and Ryan pulled the shaking alien into their arms.

"I…." The Doctor tried but she cut off as tears started to fall down her face. Yaz and Ryan didn't let go though as the old alien cried in their arms.

"It's ok Doctor. We are here," Yaz said pulling the Doctor out of her arms with Ryan doing the same.

"Why are you helping me?" The Doctor asked looking at the door. Tears still streamed down her face. Yaz shook her head.

"Because we are family. Now, River. Who is she?" Yaz asking making the Doctor smile.

"She's, my wife. I don't deserve her though," The Doctor said with a sigh. "Not after," the Doctor cut off when a knock came on the door.

"Sweetie I think you should tell them. Where I found you," River said walking over to them with Graham looking troubled. The Doctor knew that she told Graham. She took a deep breath, but nothing came out of her mouth. Soon she was crying again.

"They're all dead," the Doctor muttered but there was hate in her voice. The fam never heard hate from her voice before. Not since before she disappeared with the Master. "Do you know what I get after that?!" she laughed harshly before she ran her hand over her face. "A prison!" the Doctor yelled. Tears fell harder now down her face. Everyone watched as the old alien broke down in fount of them. No one said anything as Yaz pulled her into her arms again.
